"Cos, will you behave?" Vannah said again as the entered the room down in medical. "You're acting like they're going to….. Oh." She stopped abruptly at the sight in front of her, letting out a sigh of relief to see Noah tucked into bed, sound asleep and with no obvious sign of injury beyond a cartoon bandaid and an IV dripping blood. But then she noticed the pair settled in next to him, and her jaw dropped in shock. Marshal Walsh and Sam were settled into the same chair, Catherine snuggled onto his lap, a blanket wrapped around her, her head resting against his shoulder, both of their eyes closed and a relaxed expression on Sam's face that Vannah didn't think he was even capable of.

"Cos, be quiet!" She hissed.

"What? Oh, boy." Cosmo muttered when he caught sight of what Vannah had spotted. "When did Marshal Walsh get…."

"Cos, quiet!" Vannah hissed again. "Go and let the nice alien poke you very quietly and then we can just as quietly go back to that room we were in before to wait patiently for someone to come and let us know what's going on."

"Woah, are Sammy and Marshal Walsh….." Bobby said as caught sight of what the others had already noticed.

"Can we try to be quiet?" Vannah hissed. "If they're sleeping…."

"Not sleeping. And Renfro, what did you do to get yourself carted around by your shirt collar like you're some sort of kitten?" Sam said as he opened his eyes and turned his gaze on the other three members of his team.

"They keep doing that to him. Second time today that it happened. Maybe it's some sort of weird alien thing?" Bobby speculated. "Because now that I think about it, I have no clue how that lady from the cemetery picked Cos up like that if she wasn't an alien. I really hope we don't run into her again."

"Pretty sure my brother's planning to propose to her, so I'm sure you will be seeing her again." Sam said with a shake of his head, remembering what his brother had said earlier when they had been moving Noah. "Refro, what did you do?"

"He hurt his shoulder." Zara said before Cosmo could insist he was absolutely fine. "It looks like mostly a soft tissue injury, but something needs to be done about the swelling before it gets much worse. A couple of injections should clear it right up."

"I'm fine!" Cosmo exclaimed. An alien was wanting to inject him with who knows what? "Sam…."

"She helped fix Noah. I'm sure she can manage an injured shoulder. Let her do what she has to." Sam ordered him.

"We wouldn't want you damaged for your return trip to whatever planet inflicted you on us." Catherine said as she opened her eyes as well.

"I'm from this planet! Why does everyone keep thinking I'm from some other planet?" Cos grumbled. "Sam, it's fine! I don't need…."

"Yes, you do!" Zara cut him off. "Edie, go put him in the exam room next door. I'll have him back as soon as possible."

"I'll go and let your brother know we found them. They panicked one of the worms, getting loose like they did." Jay said. "Everyone probably knows about it by now. Surprised I haven't heard Zed issuing some sort of alert." "

"What happened?" Sam said as soon as the younger agent left.

"No one was telling us anything." Vannah said as her eyes ran over Noah, now that the surprise of seeing Sam and Catherine the way they had been was fading a bit. Fine, besides the bandaid and the IV he looked completely fine, but…. "We knew Noah was hurt. We were going to find him and if we couldn't figure out how to get him somewhere safe we were going to get you."

"We saw it when they were loading him up outside that nursing home." Bobby looked over Noah too with a confused expression. "It looked like the kid was hurt pretty bad, but…." Fine, Noah looked fine, which was definitely not what they were expecting.

"He was. Luckily they had the technology here to fix it." Sam shook his head, annoyance at himself for not realizing that his other kids had seen that Noah was injured badly washing over him. He should have realized they had to have seen and had someone let them know Noah was going to be fine as soon as he realized that himself. "Let him rest for awhile, let the rest of the blood he lost get replaced, and he'll be fine."

"Thank goodness." Vannah said.

"Sam, what's going on?" Bobby asked. "Aliens being real, that does explain a whole lot with Cos, but what's going on? Because there was someone in the cemetery that looked like you but…."

"Wait, you said something about a brother." Vannah said as a comment Sam had made finally sank in. "You have a brother? You've never mentioned a brother."

"He has an identical twin brother." Catherine said. She understood now why Sam hadn't told her everything about his brother, but understanding didn't mean she couldn't have some fun with the situation.

"You have a twin?" Bobby asked. "Why is this the first time we're hearing about this?"

"You have a twin you never said a word to us about?" Vannah said.

"Yes, I have a twin brother. And if you two can be a bit quieter, I can explain." Sam said with a look at the sleeping Noah. Okay, it was close to thirty years too late to be getting worried about waking the baby, but…. He couldn't do anything about the noise from the next room where Cosmo was getting his shoulder fixed, unfortunately.

"Sam, what's going on?" Vannah said in a quieter tone.

"I have a brother, an identical twin brother. I never talked about him because until today I thought that he died when we were eighteen." Sam said. "I had no clue that he wasn't until I saw him at that nursing home after Noah was shot."

"Shot?" Vannah said as she looked over Noah again. Him being shot would explain how he had looked when they had seen him being loaded up outside the nursing home but…. "He's fine now?"

"Won't even have scars." Sam confirmed.

"It wasn't Sheridan that shot him, was it?" Bobby said. He remembered seeing Sheridan in the parking garage, he thought, now that he had had some time to think about it. And it didn't look like was he being treated as a prisoner. "Royce?"

"Royce. The alien girl that's fixing Cosmo and helped fix Noah said it was him and Noah confirmed it when he woke up for a little while." Sam said.

"We got mixed up in another situation like Richard Kimble?" Bobby said. "How did we end up mixed up in another situation like with Richard Kimble? What do we do now? Go and bring him in? Does anyone know where he is?"

"He was assisting with the search for Sheridan, and I'm sure keeping an eye on me in case any of you did what you should have and called in." Catherine said. "There's a chance he might still be there if he doesn't realize that his cover's been blown but the people who brought me here seemed to think that there was something strange going on with him. That this situation might somehow involve the things Sam's brother deals with."

"My brother's trying to figure out what's going on." Sam said. "Until he does, there isn't much we can do."

Sam wasn't making demands to know what was going on, or more likely for Sam, trying to take over the situation entirely? Vannah and Bobby exchanged a look. What was going on with that? Before they could ask any further questions, Cosmo was being shooed back into the room by Zara.

"Is he fixed?" Sam asked.

"Fixed and should stay fixed if he doesn't do something to overuse that arm for the next hour or so." Zara told him. She would normally have suggested immobilizing the arm temporarily to be on the safe side, but surely the four other people in the room could manage to supervise him.

"He won't. Renfro, get over here and behave." Sam said with a shake of his head at the expression on Cosmo's face.

"She just jabbed me with who knows what!" Cosmo exclaimed. "Sam…."

"She fixed Noah. I'm sure she knows what to do for an injured shoulder. Behave." Sam told him.

"So, does anyone else have any other injuries they should have reported much, much earlier?" Zara asked.

"No injuries, but we will definitely report any right away." Vannah reassured her.

"Good." Zara said. "I'll see if someone can bring some more food down. I don't think what Aunt Zoe brought will be enough for three extra people."

"Definitely not enough considering who one of the people is." Sam said with a pointed look at Bobby, who had perked up his head at the mention of food.

"I can't believe that you let an alien inject me with who knows what." Cosmo grumbled after Zara had left.

"She took care of Noah. She knows what she's doing." Sam told him.

"Noah. He's alright?" The mention of Noah made Cosmo temporarily forget his complaints. His eyes went wide as he took in the condition of the younger marshal. "Sam, he looked hurt way worse than…."

"He was. They just had the technology here to fix it." Sam said before Cosmo could say anymore about how Noah had looked right after the shooting. He didn't want Catherine to hear a description of that.

"Sam, what's going on?" Cosmo asked. "Who are these people and how did they end up in the middle of our fugitive hunt?"

"I'm pretty sure they were chasing an alien." Sam said as he remembered some things he had heard his brother say back at the nursing home that he hadn't really noticed at the time. "I'll have to check with my brother, but I'm pretty sure that luckily for us, our fugitive chase and their alien chase ended up happening in the same place at the same time."

"Wait. Brother? Since when do you have a brother?" Cosmo demanded.

"More than a brother. An identical twin brother." Vannah said.

"A twin? You have a twin?" Cosmo said. "You've never said anything about a twin!"

"Until today, I thought my brother died when we were eighteen." Sam said. "Turns out he joined an organization that monitors and polices aliens on Earth instead."

"And I really need to have a word with him about how he missed one." Catherine said. Although Sam's brother was just going to have to come down there for that little discussion

"Why won't anyone believe that I'm from this planet?" Cosmo demanded.

"Hey, maybe that explains what happened to your luggage, Cos." Bobby suggested. "The airport couldn't seem to find it. Maybe it got shipped back to whatever planet you're from!"

"I'm from this planet!" Although what Bobby said about the possible whereabouts of his missing luggage had given him an idea. This place was pretty big, and it had looked like they had some sort of transportation thing going.l. Maybe he ought to check, see if they had a lost and found. His bag had to be somewhere. But, he guessed he could figure that out later. "So, what are we supposed to do no? I think these people got Sheridan."

"Except it turns out that Sheridan isn't the problem." Sam said. "Royce is and apparently he may be connected to something that's more in my brother's line of work. So until Kevin comes back to update us on what's going on, we're all staying right here." He could see the rest of his kids looking at him like he had suddenly grown another head for wanting them to stay there instead of trying to take charge of the situation, but Noah had already been hurt due to Royce. There was no way he was risking anything happening to anyone else until he had all of the facts and could make a plan. And he finally had his son back and had Catherine. He wanted the chance to enjoy that for as long as possible. "Sit down somewhere and get comfortable. Food will be here soon."
