I was on my way into a new job on a series. I was stopped at the door.
"There you are."
I looked up. It was one of the crew.
"Come this way. I want you to meet your partner."
"Okay."
"B?*"
I heard someone calling me. I turned and almost had a heart attack.
"Jeff*!*?*"
"Barcode."
"Do you know each other already? That should work for you two."
"Kinda. We take the same dance class."
"Well, B, Jeff comes from Studio on Saturn. Jeff, B comes from Aplan International."
We shook hands.
"Nice to meet you."
We got quiet and just looked at each other.
The crew member knew something more was going on.
"Well, do you know Jeff was on pt1 called Vamp Eternal Destiny as Sean? Where he helped his friend V take over the Crimson Alliance and was turned into a vampire himself?"
"I do now."
They both looked at me.
"I don't watch a lot of TV."
"Okay."
"But when I get a job, I bone up on the information. I was going to do it tonight. I have been a little busy."
"Okay. Now, PT2 is called Not One of Us. You and Jeff will be partners, and I need you two to be a well-oiled machine. So, whatever is going on with you two, you should work it out sooner rather than later."
Jeff and I looked at each other, then at the crew member we were talking to.
"Okay."
