CHAPTER 4
The Poison Jungle
The Poison Jungle, also known as the Never-home to some of the Pantalan LeafWings, was located on the head of the dragon-shaped continent of Pantala. Located on the northeastern part of the continent, this was where the LeafWings called home.
Two factions of the LeafWings existed in Pantala. There were the tree-named SapWings, who believed in peace on Pantala. There were also the PoisonWings, who were a LeafWing military faction on Pantala founded by the late LeafWing Linden.
Sequoia, Queen of the LeafWings, was unaware of Britannia's arrival to Pantala. However, when word came out that "scavengers from an outside realm" landed in Pantala, Sequoia was suspicious. So suspicious that she decided to hide LeafWing Princess Hazel from the Britannians.
Meliodas and the rest of the Sins, with the efforts of Admiral, Blue, and Luna, landed in the Poison Jungle. "Wow…how would one human survive?" asked Melidoas to Ban. Ban did nothing but shrug his shoulders. When a female LeafWing named Belladonna approached them, she had asked what the scavengers were doing in the Poison Jungle.
"I dropped them off here." said Admiral.
"You what?!" asked Belladonna. "Admiral, those are scavengers!"
"No, we need assistance, good dragon." said Meliodas.
"Who are you?" asked Belladonna. "Where do you hail from?"
"We are the Seven Deadly Sins." said Meliodas. "I am their leader, Meliodas. Our friend, Arthur Pendragon, was kidnapped by a dragon named Wasp."
"Queen Wasp has one of your friends captive?" asked Belladonna. "Likely story."
"It's true!" yelled Hawk the pig.
"Yeah, we were witnesses." said Ban.
Belladonna's husband Hemlock asked what was going on after walking over to Belladonna. Belladonna then told Hemlock to take the "scavengers" to Queen Sequoia.
"I'm not presenting these people to our loyal LeafWing Queen!" yelled Hemlock.
"Do it, Hemlock!" yelled Belladonna. "They say their friend was stolen by the HiveWing Queen.
Hemlock sighed. "Very well, Belladonna." said Hemlock. "Come on." he said to the Britannia scavengers.
The Seven Deadly Sins and their friends later followed Hemlock to the LeafWing Queen.
"What are those?!" asked Queen Sequoia after Hemlock presented the Sins to Sequoia.
"Your Majesty, please forgive my intrusion to you." said Hemlock. "My wife spotted them with the SilkWings. They come from the Land of Britannia."
"Britannia, huh?" asked Queen Sequoia.
"You are Queen Sequoia, I am guessing?" asked Meliodas.
"I am." said Sequoia. "Queen Sequoia of the LeafWings of Pantala, the Lost Continent."
"That's nice, because we need assistance." said Meliodas. "We need help rescuing our friend Arthur." Meliodas explained.
"...What…is the story behind the kidnapping of this…Arthur…person?" asked Sequoia.
Meliodas explained the entire story about the Britannia and Pyrrhia conflict to Queen Sequoia, taking about fifteen minutes explaining everything up until SkyWing Queen Scarlet's death at the hands of Arthur Pendragon.
"He murdered Queen Scarlet?" asked Sequoia.
"Yeah." said Gowther.
"Hmph." grunted Sequoia.
"Please, Queen Sequoia." said Luna. "Pyrrhia's dragons are friends with these scavengers. They went back to get help from their allies."
"...Let me take the blonde-haired fellow down there." said Sequoia as she pointed to Meliodas.
As Meliodas stepped forward, he followed Queen Sequoia.
About a few minutes passed. Meliodas came out with Sequoia and the LeafWing Princess Hazel. "The LeafWings are siding with the allies of Britannia's Seven Deadly Sins!" yelled Sequoia.
All the LeafWings looked at Sequoia.
"Those are the Seven Deadly Sins?" asked one male LeafWing.
"Relax." said one female LeafWing to the male LeafWing.
"What's going on?" asked Belladonna and Hemlock's daughter Sundew.
"Sundew, you're siding with these scavengers." said Belladonna. "Bring about a time when you get to know outsiders."
"Mother!" yelled Sundew. "Why–"
"No backtalking to your mother, Sundew." said Hemlock. "We shall be with you."
Sundew did nothing but sigh.
Back in Pyrrhia, MudWing Clay and SkyWing Peril were rallying their allies and friends.
"Is everyone gathered?" asked Queen Moorhen of the MudWings.
"Everyone's gathered, Queen Moorhen." said the MudWing Reed.
"Clay, Peril, please speak your cause for this Pyrrhian meeting." said Queen Moorhen.
"Dragons and Dragonets of Pyrrhia!" yelled Peril and Clay in unison.
"Hear our words out there! Arthur Pendragon, King of Camelot, has been kidnapped west to Pyrrhia by Queen Wasp of the Pantalan HiveWings." yelled Clay.
"He's the one that murdered Queen Scarlet, right?" asked one male SkyWing dragon.
"Yes, he is." said Peril. "We are banding together to save him and defeat Wasp and her dreadful sisters."
"Who's with us on this?" asked Clay.
"Qibli and I will go with you." said NightWing Moonwatcher.
"Oh, Moon, no!" yelled Secretkeeper.
"Mother, they are my friends." said Moonwatcher to her mother, Secretkeeper. "They were allied with us in the war with Britannia and Pyrrhia."
"She's technically right, Secretkeeper" said SandWing Qibli.
"Qibli." said Secretkeeper. "Watch Moon for me." she said. "She is my baby."
"I will, Secretkeeper." said Qibli.
"I will fly out there too." said Tsunami the SeaWing. "Alright. Which SeaWings are with me on this?" asked Tsunami to the rallying SeaWings.
Anemone, Tsunami's sister, was not happy.
"Anemone, what's wrong?" asked the SeaWing Turtle.
Anemone did nothing but walk away from everyone.
"Anemone!" yelled Tsunami's crush Riptide.
"I want to be with Mother, Tsunami!" yelled Anemone.
Tsunami sighed, and said, "Very well".
"Come on, everyone." said Glory of the RainWings. "Let's just go to Pantala, and see if we can free that former ally of ours."
"Glory's got a point." said NightWing Starflight.
All the selected allies of Clay and Peril later flew west to Pantala to meet up with the Seven Deadly Sins.
"Wait for me!" yelled SandWing-NightWing hybrid Sunny as everyone else flew west.
