A month has passed since Sanemi became a Pillar, Kanae has been spending more time with Giyu since he started to enjoy her company alot. Kanae in the butterfly mansion, was humming while brushing Kanao's hair, while Kanao herself closing her eyes, listening to the humming as she finishes with her hair, Giyu arrives with a box of Ramen, "look what i brought you?" "*Gasps* Tomioka-san! You didn't have to bring it to me." Says Kanae as Giyu smiles at her "you brought me Daikon and salmon every weekend, so I'll just bring you your favourite dish in return." Says Giyu and Kanae smiles and says "awwww! Thank you!" And hugs him. "I never knew how much you mean to me...Tomioka-san...I..." Giyu raised his eyebrow in wonder as Kanae says "I love you!" Giyu's eyes opened wide as his heart started beating fast, he started blushing but isn't hiding it. "You may hate me for it, but i always loved you, since you saved my life and protected me in missions, i always enjoyed your company, you are so calm, so kind, you even help my little sister became a simple and normal girl to point that she wants my last name. Tomioka Giyu, Will you be my boyfriend?" Asked Kanae as she's blushing hard as she saw how Giyu's eyes are shining and sparkly as he says "yes... I will... because I love you too." Kanae hugged him as they both kissed, "Thank you, Giyu-kun.." "i Will make you happy." Says Giyu as they both break the kiss and hug, Kanao then rushed to Giyu and hugs him saying "Brother..." Giyu faces Kanao, not knowing what to do. He simply caressing her head, as Kanae chuckled and says "woops we forgot you're hear. He's your brother-in-law now." Giyu faced Kanae and blushing.

As time passed at night as the whole butterfly girls and Giyu finished eating dinner, Giyu sitting on top of the roof, watching the moon as until "i was wondering where you went." Giyu looked towards Shinobu who is now sitting next to Giyu but away, "your dating my sister now. Are you?" Asked Shinobu and Giyu nodded, Shinobu replied "well, she seems very happy with you, take care of her." And Giyu says "i will, i will make her happy." "At first I thought you were annoying but i guess I was just paranoid." Says Shinobu as Giyu says. "You seem protective to her, i can understand." "Thank you, for everything you did for us. If you plan to marry my sister, i will allow it." Says Shinobu as Giyu blushes as Shinobu smirks and vanished as Giyu breaths as he continues to meditate, he says "Nee-san, i found her. I hope you are proud of me. Tomioka Kanae, or Tomioka Kocho Kanae. Either way, i found a wife, I'll just have to wait for the right time to propose..." little does he not know, Kanae was listening to the conversation and she was blushing like crazy. She couldn't believe what she heard, 'Tomioka Kanae? Tomioka Kocho Kanae? He wants to marry me?..yes, i want him. I want him as my husband.' thought Kanae as she lays down on her bed. Hugging her pillow, her heart was beating fast, she wants him. Half an hour passed as Kanae couldn't sleep, her thoughts about Giyu was keeping her awake as she gets up. She feels like wanting to sleep somewhere else, though she seems nervous, she walks into the guest room where Giyu is. She was about to knock but she was shaking nervously 'Why am I nervous? I'm his girlfriend, he wants to marry me so he won't mind.' she knocked as Giyu says "come in." She opened the door as she saw Giyu in he bed as he asked "What's wrong?" Kanae blushing as she asked "Can i sleep here Giyu-kun?" Giyu smiled as he makes some space "come in." Kanae was relieved as she closed the door as lays next to him in bed. Kanae kisses his cheek and says "good night my love." Giyu blushed a little as Kanae started hugging and cuddling with him, Giyu ends up hugging back, kissing her forehead, leaving Kanae's heart to start beating fast, she feels really happy, as they both fell asleep.

A day has passed in early morning, Giyu woke up to see Kanae next to him, cuddled with him as Giyu smiled at her, and cuddling with her a little more, kissing her forehead as he began caressing her head "Hmm, Giyu-kun..." Giyu saw that Kanae was awake and smiling, "good morning my love." Says Giyu as Kanae was simply rubbing her face on Giyu's chest. "Ara ara, your so affectionate for me..." Says Kanae as giyu caresses her. "You had a good sleep?" Asked Giyu as Kanae nodded "hm." While smiling in pure joy.

Giyu cuddles with her more as he says "I'm happy to hear it." Kanae blushes a little, feeling really relaxed. Kanae breaks her hug and leaves off the bed. "So, you coming?" She asked and Giyu says "I'll catch up." Kanae nodded as she leaves the room. Giyu is still laying down.

A few days passed, Kanae who she's walking on a street and humming in joy, she feels very happy, on her way to the waterfall estate, she saw how Giyu is training on his own, slaying dummies which are all over the field. As Giyu sliced every dummy, he started panting in exhaustion as he grabbed water and drinks it. He then felt something hugging behind him, he could tell it was Kanae since he hugged her many times. "Good to know you're here." Says Giyu while he gently smiles and Kanae hugging him from behind and says "ara ara, You're quite the hard worker. I could tell you are doing your best to get strong." And Giyu blushes a little, replied "I have to get strong enough to protect those who i love. I don't want to risk losing anyone else because of my weakness." "Just don't push yourself to hard, okay?" Replied Kanae and Giyu nodded, "So, shall we head on our date?" She asked and Giyu nodded and Kanae simply blushing and smiling in excitement.

Since they started dating, but no pillar knows about it. Both are quite known as strong duo during missions, as partners. Some slayers speculated that they are a couple and prefers to stay silent about it, not even discussing it. Sanemi however is a little too unhinged because of this, he's starting to Hate Giyu even more to the point that he...

Started Badmouthing him and spilling things that he acts like he's better than others, Kanae and Giyu end up assuming he's just hot tempered as always.

In the butterfly mansion, Sanemi recieving treatment from Kanae and Sanemi then asked "So, wanna hang out after this?" "I can't, I have many injured slayers to deal with." Says Kanae, while she finished patching him up, Sanemi flinched slightly in which Kanae noticed it as he leaves the office 'He'll probably move on.' she returned to writing notes down, Moving on with Giyu sparring with Shinobu using wooden swords, Shinobu dashing around and slashing Giyu with her sword while Giyu is just deflecting every attack. "Come on! Just Get a blow already." She yelled and Giyu replied, "If you're going to let rage and frustration take over you, it won't bring you anywhere." Shinobu kept her anger in as she continues to dash and slash around. 'He's only on defense position, he's probably testing my speed when it comes to Stinging demons while speedblitzing them. Unless, I could look for an opening strike' Shinobu dashed to him, but with Giyu about deflect it, she dashed off in a zig zag direction and quickly dashed to Giyu from behind, but to Giyu's reflexes, he immediately dodged it, slashed through Shinobu's wooden swords as it shattered. Shinobu stopped as she lands to the ground, panting as she says "Dang it!" "You passed." Replied Giyu and Shinobu was left in confusion and asked "What do you mean by that? I didn't even land a blow." "You almost caught me off guard, in a sense you made an opening as i was waiting for you to figure it out." Replied Giyu and Shinobu was left in silence and asked "You were testing my IQ? I Thought you were testing my speed!" "You're speed is getting better, better enough for you to strike a multiple demons, Your Brain is what's left, work smarter, not harder." Says Giyu and Shinobu wasn't sure what to think anymore. "Hmm, i think i have some ideas, I'll get to it." She replied and then left off, Giyu sighs as he makes his way inside.

3 months later, as Giyu is on a journey to his village, as he arrived, making his way to a certain place while some people saw him as if they recognised him. They remembered him, about the incident of women getting attacked and vanished off without being able to see who it was, Giyu as a young child however was screaming in pain the most for his sister. "Oi, Tomioka. Is that you?" Giyu turned to see a certain someone who he recognised, one of the kids in his childhood age who played with his feelings. "You came back, i thought you were dead." Giyu making a deadpan face and turned away as he continues on his way. "Oi, don't just walk off, let's talk about this." The kid in the same age as Giyu, pulled his right hand pulling him to stop, as he says "Tomioka, just let me speak for one second." Giyu slapped the kid's hand off of him and the kid was stunned of how hard the slap was, he couldn't even see the slap coming since he did it in a millesecond. "There's nothing else to discuss." He says it in a Cold tone as he walks away. Calming down as he continues his way to a graveyard, he made his way to a Tombstone, written "Tomioka Tsutako, beloved Sister, Fiancé and Friend." Next to the other 2 in between, "Tomioka Hanako, Beloved mother of 2." "Tomioka Toya, Beloved father of 2." Giyu brings out flowers as he places them to the Tombstones, he begans praying. He then sits down on his knees, placing his sword next to him, as he speaks "Nee-san, Oto-san, Oka-san, I'm sorry i haven't been able to visit for a long time. I was busy, and got carried away in my duty, but i did made a friend and i hope you met him since he saved my life, i couldn't think his he would leave this early. But i moved on for him, and...now, I found a woman in my age, and she's from a wealthy family, Kocho Kanae, she's one beautiful girl i never thought who would fall for me. I kinda did helped her out and she ended up enjoying my company. Only for her to confess her love to me and we started dating, I've done so much for her and she was very thankful to me. Now, it's been 3 months we've been dating and now..." He takes out a small box, he opens the box in which is carrying a ring. Giyu's eyes tearing out while shining bright, as he smiles purely and says "... I'll propose to her, and bring her happiness. I love her, and i will make her happy." He closes the box as he stacks it in his pocket. He begins praying again, as he finishes, he stands up, Placing his sword on his waist as he leaves the Graveyard.

As some time passes on, late at evening time with his arrival at the butterfly mansion as he Calls in his crow, "Kanzabaru, inform Kanae I've come." The crow flies off as Giyu enters the gate. Kanae simply comes from the top of the roof as she rushed and Hugged him "Giyu-kuuuun!" Giyu hugs back, he simply caresses her head and says "Happy to see you." "You come to stay?" Kanae asked and Giyu replied "You might say that." Kanae tilted her head in confusion as Giyu encourages her to follow her to the Sakura tree, planted by the first flower breath user. "Oh, Sakura tree, what about it?" Kanae asked and Giyu breathing heavily and proceeded "Well, i just want to let you know that You are someone i never thought I meet, you appreciate my assistance, you enjoy my company, You save many lives both as a pillar and a doctor, You're like a mother to your sisters..." Says Giyu while Kanae was moved by his warm and kind tone, as Giyu kneels before her and Kanae's heart started beating fast and thought 'Wait! Is he Actually!?' Giyu pulled out a box as he opened it Infront of her, revealing a Ring. Leaving Kanae to Cover her mouth in shock as tears 'NO WAY THIS IS HAPPENING!?' her mind plays as Giyu asked ".. Kocho Kanae, Will you marry me?" Kanae was left speechless, her tears falled down as she starts crying and says "YES! YES! YEEEES! A MILLION TIMES YES!" she offered him her hand, as Giyu places the ring in her ring finger. Giyu stands up as Kanae was Crying in Joy as she pulled Giyu into a hug. "THANK YOU GIYU-KUN, I WAS WAITING FOR IT! I first met you and you were someone mysterious, so adorable, my inspiration to train harder enough to reach pillar rank, you care so much for all of us, you've done so much that i don't know how to express it, i slowly fell in love with you, I've dreamt about you a lot. And here! I see my future husband, TAKE CARE OF ME! I LOVE YOU!" she Cries harder as Giyu says "shhhh, I can tell now you were patient about it. I'll make you happy, Tomioka Kocho Kanae." She sniffing from the crying as until "NEE-SAN, WHAT HAPPENED!?" Shinobu Rushed outside as well as Kanao and Aoi, as Kanae smiles while tears falling as she shows the ring in her finger. Shinobu was left in shock as she rushed to them and hugged them, Aoi was stunned as well as she went to them. Kanao slowly ran to them as they all hugged eachother. Giyu cried slightly while smiling warmly, 'Nee-san, Oto-san, Oka-san, i hope you're proud to see me happy.'
