The Frog-Faced Doctor looked in disbelief and annoyance at the reckless young man in front of him before sighing. "Without a doubt young David, you have been the most reckless and stupid person I have ever interviewed.

But you made your point clear although I would appreciate it if you didn't do it again, as a doctor I hate seeing reckless acts.

As soon as your application is approved, I will be in charge of taking you through the Power Curriculum Program process, and you will also receive extra psychological attention to help you control your impulses."

David showed a smile and with his recovered hand he took the bottle of wine to take a good drink. "I appreciate it Doc, I guess I'll be in your care then."

The Frog-Faced Doctor shook his head at him as he asked David to accompany him to Academy City.

Once in the academy city he was registered with retina, fingerprints and DNA.

Having an identity to enter and leave, he was taken to a special laboratory of the Power Curriculum Program, where he would receive a series of tests, studies, lectures, medicines, body stimulation and hypnosis.

The first thing they did was a scan of his body where they found his neural implant but the only thing David said was that it was his creation that allowed it to function like a cell phone interacting with his brain.

When they asked him how he did it, he simply said that he could give them the plans, however, he wanted the right to be able to enter or leave the academy city whenever he wanted, along with the right to be able to skip classes just to show up for exams.

Alister analyzed David Martinez's proposal after hearing it from one of his researchers, so he approved it since he found the existence of someone who did not seem to belong to the world curious.

After this treatment the experiments continued, for which blood samples were obtained from David with which enhancers and drugs were developed that were later injected into him.

Lastly, he had absolute immunity to diseases and toxic agents, so nothing could make David sick or poison him.

Due to this data, Academy City gave him the rank of level 5 on the esper scale, becoming one of the few users with that category and unlike the others he was not tied to any experiments.

After paying his debt with the plans for a neural link like the one he had, he received from the researchers the formula and vials of a nutritional substance so that he could use his powers without having to devour people.
