The girls have been hearing that many people, mostly children, have been disappearing lately and its related to buses. With that in mind, they decided to walk everywhere until this whole thing blows over.
"I wonder where they disappear to" Usagi wondered
"They're probably not alive anymore" Ami said
"Ami! How could you say that?!" Naru asked
"Most disappearance cases wind either with the victim being dead or never being found. The ones that are found are usually the bodies or the skeletal remains of the victim" Ami said
"Ami, there are cases where they're found too" Naru said
"I understand that but that can be rare" Ami said
"Let's talk about something else instead. Like the shrine that's nearby here. If we get good luck charm then we'll remain safe" Usagi said
"You don't actually believe that a piece of paper can ward off evil, do you?" Luna asked
"I agree with Luna. Its not very logical" Ami said
"We're precure that's not exactly logical either" Naru said
"Oh dear" Usagi said
Its going to take some time for them to get used to each other but Naru and Ami were off to a rocky start on their relationship. They were a team now but they were having trouble getting along with each other. Usagi was thinking of finding something that could represent their friendship but it would have to be something that both Naru and Ami would like.
The three of them made it to the temple and saw there were a lot of people there and overheard that the buses were disappearing. It was no wonder why everyone was disappearing, an entire vehicle with them inside is also disappearing.
A shrine maiden was handing out charms and telling everyone to be safe.
"That girl with the black hair sure is pretty" Naru said
"If I'm remembering right, her name is Rei Hino, and she works here with her grandfather. Rumor says that she has actual psychic powers and is able to make predictions" Usagi said
Everyone looked at Usagi like she had grown two heads. The blond noticed that her friends were staring at her.
"What?" Usagi asked
"Since when are you so well informed about things like this?" Naru asked
"Hey, I just found something like this interesting" Usagi said
"At least she's well informed" Artemis said
"If that shrine maiden actually has psychic powers then there's a possibility that's she's a precure" Luna said
"Maybe we can check her out" Usagi said
"Investigating stuff like this might help us in our mission so I say we give it a shot" Ami said
All three of them nodded and moved up the stairs and that the shrine maiden had just finished handing the last charm she had in her hand. The girl looked over to see them and greeted them. Usagi said she needed to use the bathroom so she would be right back.
"Greetings and welcome to the Hikawa Shrine. I am Rei Hino" Rei said
"It's a pleasure to meet you. We're just here for some charms" Naru said
Naru and Ami got their charms but then started to act strangely and started to exit the shrine like they were under some type of hypnosis. They got the bus that was there and then that bus disappeared.
Usagi came back and saw that her friends were gone and pouted because she thought that they had left without her.
"Did they leave without me?" Usagi asked
Rei came back out and saw that the blonde girl was still there and wondered why. She noticed that her two friends were missing and frowned. Did this girl's friends disappear too? The shrine maiden then got a vision and saw that a warrior with silver white hair fighting a monster.
When she came to she saw that the twin tailed girl was talking to her.
"Are you okay?" Usagi asked
"Y-yeah I'm fine. I just blanked out" Rei said
"Looked like you were having a psychic vision to me" Usagi said
Rei looked at her in silence. Ever since she was little everyone had avoided her because of her gifts. She was often treated as an outcast. The only person who treated her normally was her grandfather.
"I suppose you know about my abilities then" Rei said
"Well they were just rumors but now you've confirmed that were true" Usagi said
Rei cursed herself because she had just confirmed it instead of denying it.
"I have to admit that have psychic powers is amazing" Usagi said
Rei looked at her in surprise. Had this girl really complimented her on her abilities? She couldn't help but retaliate.
"It's not as amazing as you think. People find out that your special and start treating you like an outcast and start to avoid you like the plague" Rei said
"Rei, you have an amazing gift. Don't let people get to you just because you have a gift and they don't" Usagi said
The black haired girl looked at the blonde.
"You really think my gift is amazing?" Rei asked
"Of course I do. Maybe it could help us solve this bus mystery" Usagi said
"I've been trying but nothing has been coming" Rei said
"I'm sure something will pop up" Usagi said
Another bus then showed up and more guests started to board it and this time Rei had a vision of a monster draining them of their energy and tried to stop them.
"Wait don't board that bus! Stop!" Rei said
The Shrine maiden dashed off and Usagi followed suit and both of them ended up on the bus and soon they disappeared. Both of them opened their eyes and saw that they were what looked like another dimension entirely and the other buses were here too. They looked around and saw that the missing people were here too and they were in a trance. They tried to shake them awake but to no avail. Naru and Ami were there too.
Usagi took a deep breath.
"Forgive me, girls" Usagi said
Rei had heard what the blonde and had said and wondered what she was planning to do. She then saw that the blonde slapped her friends in the face. It had them drop their paper charms.
"OW!" They yelled
"Yay! You're back to normal!" Usagi said
"What was that for Usagi?" Naru asked in anger
"That was unnecessary" Ami said
"Well if I didn't then you wouldn't have snapped out of that trance you were in" Usagi said
The two of them then looked around and saw that they were some type of null space.
"What is this place?" Naru asked
Ami brought up a mini-computer, that Luna had given her, and started to scan the space around here and saw that the energy here was off the charts.
The bus driver then showed and saw that there were four girls that were not under her control.
"It seems like you four are still conscious" The bus driver said
The four of them looked over and saw the bus driver there.
"Who are you?" Rei asked
The bus driver chuckled before transforming into a youma.
"You may call me Kigaan and you're energy will be mine" Kigaan said
Usagi turned to the girls with a determined look in her eyes. Both Ami and Naru nodded. They brought out their brooches.
"Precure: Planet change"
Rei watched in awe as the three girls had transformed. So these three were the precures of justice that she had heard so much about.
"Get ready" Moon said
"Not today precure" A voice said
Everyone looked up and saw that it was a blonde man in a general suit.
"Who are you?" Moon asked
"My name is Jadeite, a general of the dark kingdom" Jadeite said
"A general? What are you doing here?" Mercury asked
Rei looked at this man and was having flashbacks of him but he didn't look so evil. She wondered what this meant.
"I'm here to stop you from interfering with my plans once and for all" Jadeite said
The blond general then dived down towards the warriors but Moon jumped and tried to attack him first but he managed to avoid her attack.
"Earth, Mercury, take care of the youma and leave this one to me" Moon said
Earth and Mercury weren't comfortable with leaving Moon to fight a general of the dark kingdom all by herself but they didn't really have much of a choice because the youma was now charging at them.
Earth and Mercury started to fight the youma but this youma was very fast and agile.
"Can't catch me, precure. I'm too quick" Kigaan said
Mercury then came up with a plan to turn the odds into their favor.
"Precure: Mercury Blizzard"
Mercury unleashed a blizzard attack but the youma avoided the attack with ease.
"Too slow!" Kigaan said
The youma failed to realize that Mercury wasn't aiming for her to begin with. She was actually aiming at the ground, which got completely covered in ice. When youma landed it started to slip around on the ice and had a hard time with her balance. It was Earth's turn to attack. She skated across the ice with her hand glowing with golden energy.
"Precure: Earth impact"
The youma got hit hard and was sent flying across the field. The youma growled and unleashed black lightning at them, knock them back.
Rei couldn't believe that these warriors were fighting for the sake of others. She had been too afraid to use her gifts to help others because how she was viewed for it for most of her life. But these girls were using their powers to fight the evil that was plaguing their world.
"I wish to protect this world with the gifts that I have and I want to show everyone that I can use these abilities for good" Rei said
Rei started to emit a familiar aura and Artemis happened to be there and knew what to do and crafted a broach.
"Use this" Artemis said
Rei looked down and saw a broach.
"If you really wish to use your abilities for good, then become one of them, a precure that fights for the sake of others" Artemis said
Rei looked over and saw that Earth and Mercury were having a tough time but continued to fight. Rei nodded and started to transform herself
"Precure Planet change"
Rei's chair changed from black to bright red. She had a black hairband with a red star on the side. She wore red high heeled boots with black tights. She wore a red and black ruffled skirt with a purple ribbon on the back. She now wore short white gloves with red stars on the back of the gloves. She wore a red ruffled top with ruffles being black and having black buttons going down to the center on of the top and like her fellow cures, her midriff was left exposed. She was also wearing red star earrings. She also had a black ribbon on her chest where her broach now rests.
"Using fire to burn away the evil that plagues us, Cure Mars"
The youma started blitz around the battlefield and Mars started ton concentrate and predicted her move. The youma tried to slash her back but the new cure jumped and kicked the monster's head and then punched it across the battlefield. She then performed her attack.
"Precure: Mars fire storm"
Mars unleashed a sea of fire that was impossible for the youma to dodge and this attack was strong enough to defeat the monster. With the monster destroyed, the other cures went after Moon who was fighting Jadeite.
Meanwhile Moon was fighting Jadeite and he was a tough opponent.
Jadeite was firing dark lightning at her but Moon was faster and managed to dodge his attacks. He then fired a beam of dark energy but she avoided that by jumping and tried to come down towards him diagonally with a kick but he ducked and tried to kick her but she managed to duck in time. They were parrying each others' attacks but Jadeite was starting to get the upper hand since he was starting to unleash more of his power. Moon crossed her arms to block an incoming punch but his attack broke through her defense and sent her flying across the battlefield .
"I almost pity you for being this weak, Cure Moon" Jadeite said
He then tried to attack her again but Moon managed to jump and avoid a kick. He then unleashed more dark lightning and this time it hit her directly and then he punched her across the battlefield again. The poor cure was all bruised up and Jadeite loved to see her struggle against him. But he had to wrap this up quickly before the other cures show up. He brought out a sword and was prepared to end her.
"So long precure" Jadeite said
The white cure started to mutter to herself, causing the general to raise his eyebrow.
"Precure: Moon Blast attack"
Moon created a ball of white light in her hand and launched it at the general. This caught Jadeite by surprise and launched him across the field. The blonde general looked up and saw that the white haired warrior was in his face and performed a high kick, sending him up in the air. She then jumped up and both of them started to fight in the air. Moon then parried an incoming punch, spun a full 360 degrees before kicking him back down to the ground. She landed on the ground and staggered a little.
"Cure Moon, you will pay for this and I'll make your death as painful as possible" Jadeite said
"I won't let you harm these people anymore. I would retreat while you still can" Moon said
"Retreat? I'm not retreating until you're dead" Jadeite said
The general unleashed purple lightning at the white cure but she jumped to avoid his attack. The blonde general brought out his sword and tried to slash her but she avoided his sword swings and jumped back and performed another attack.
"Precure: Crescent moon blades"
Moon unleashed white sharp white crescent moons at the general but he started to deflect them with his sword but that's Moon wanted him to do and when he was finished deflecting her attack she sped up towards him and hit him with straight kick to the gut, knocking the breath out of him. He soon recovered and punched her away from him
"PRECURE!" Jadeite said
The other cures soon showed up and saw how beat up Moon was. They were now there to back her up.
That's when his boss, Queen Beryl, contacted him.
"Jadeite, enough! Return at once!" Beryl said
"But Queen Beryl I can take them" Jadeite said
"Do as I say! You'll have plenty of other chances to take them down! Now return to the dark kingdom at once!" Beryl said
Jadeite sighed and calmed down before looking at the cures.
"Consider yourselves lucky Precure. I have to leave now but rest assured that the next time we fight you'll be the ones that will be perishing" Jadeite said before teleporting away.
Cure Moon sighed before falling backwards but Cure Earth managed to catch her.
"Moon, are you okay?" Earth asked with concern
"Y-yeah I'm fine. He was really strong though" Moon said
"We'll just need to get stronger so we're ready for him next time" Earth said
Moon noticed Mars and asked if she was the latest cure and was excited when she was told yes and had a feeling she already knew that it was Rei who was Cure Mars and she was right. The cures then helped get the buses out before the dimension collapsed on them and managed to get everyone out on time too.
