Queen of mean

A/N: I will finish this story, sooner or later.

Isa and Stacie went back to their dorm after a long day with their princesses, feeling tiered but absolutely ecstatic after getting to know the princesses better, "Oh, hey Stace, how did your lunch with Emily go?" Isa asked her friend.

"It was nice, she's a nice person" Stacie said with a small smile and a slight blush covering her cheeks.

"Aw, would you look at that dumb smile," Isa said with a mocking grin, "Who would've thought a princess would have the daughter of Ursula, the mighty queen of the seas, in a headlock. So dumb" She said as she laughed.

Stacie's smile dropped, she turned to face her friend and then she pushed her, "What are you even laughing about, you have an even dumber smile on your face," Isa didn't budge, even though her friend was strong, "Now that I'm taking a better look at you, what do you have in your ear?"

Isa's face turned from smug to nervous in a matter of seconds, "I have no idea what you're talking about"

"Yes you do! What did that princess do to you?!" Stacie exclaimed, surprised, but also laughing at her friend's embarrassed face.

"Stop screaming would you! It's an earring? I think that's what Emma told me they were called," Stacie smiled again, "It's a dumb thing!"

"Sure, puppy, I bet it is!" They argued all the way to their dorm, but when they opened the door, they saw a distraught Beca lying in bed. They looked at each other, and then at Beca, Stacie gestured to Isa so that she could talk to Beca. After all, she was basically Beca's sister.

"Hey Becs, are you okay?" Beca turned to look at Isa, she looked sad, almost as if she had been crying. Beca quickly wiped her face with her sheets, she was certain of two things at that moment: Isa definitely notice her crying, but she also knew she wasn't going to let them know that. Isa smiled softly at her friend, almost as if she knew exactly what she was thinking at that moment. She managed to cover her smaller friend, so she could get herself presentable and then whispered that she wouldn't tell anyone, and Beca knew that Isa wasn't lying.

"I'm fine," she said, sounding as if wanting to convince no one but herself, "I was just tiered when I got back, climbing can be exhausting"

"And what did you climb, Becs?" Stacie asked, amused by her answer and the sad state that her friend was in, "A tree…" she responded in the calmest manner that she could.

"That sounds… fun, Becs" Isa said, cautiously with her words.

"Yeah… it was 'fun', I guess" Beca said with a finalizing sigh, "Anyways! Let's get ready, I got a text from Derek, we are invited to the acapella initiation party" she said, her demeanor changing to her normal smug self. "And, we have a lot to do at this little 'party'"

Isa moved away from Beca, as she stood up from her bed with a lot of energy and zero enthusiasm for the party, "Right, you don't seem excited for the party though. Are you sure you want to go?"

Beca turned to look at Isa, "Oh, I'm not, believe me, I would rather keep on working on getting our parents here. But, since none of our plans have worked out, I want to go to this party and I want all of you to keep an eye out and see what we can use to our advantage. We've been here for almost two weeks, and we have nothing! So this new plan better work"

Isa and Stacie turned to look at each other once again, this time Stacie took the lead, "Beca, the first plan didn't work, but you have to keep in mind that we are getting close to the princesses… and that could be used to our advantage"

"Oh! Right! Because it worked wonders with Isa right?" Stacie pleaded with her eyes to Beca, but she was way to mad to care. Isa turned to Beca, she was confused at the statement, "Right! I forgot we didn't tell you. We tried to put a spell on you, so you would fall for Emma, but it didn't work"

Isa looked hurt, "What do you mean? So a couple of days ago in the auditions… that's why I was acting so weird towards Emma?"

Beca regretted it as soon as she saw her friend, she had a hurt expression on her face and Stacie looked disappointed and regretful, "Isa… we didn't do it to hurt you, we just thought it would be a good plan since Emma will be queen soon" Stacie said trying to mediate the situation.

"Okay… I am going to go see Derek and I'll stay with him until the party, I guess I'll see you guys later" Isa said walking away.

When she shut the door, Stacie looked at Beca with a disappointed look, she was very mad at her friend "Why would you tell her that, it was completely unnecessary"

Beca scoffed at her in response, "Don't be mad at me for telling her the truth, she was going to find out, one way or another" Stacie just rolled her eyes in response, "besides, it's not my fault that your magic is so weak that you couldn't make one functional potion"

The room fell silent at that moment, Beca regretted everything she had said, but there was no turning back from her hurtful words. Stacie didn't say anything for a little while, she just stared silently at her friend, after a couple of minutes she decided to talk, "I don't know what went so wrong for you today, but I hope you know that you did achieve something. Congratulations, you managed to piss off two of the only people that actually care for you. I don't know if this has to do with Chloe, or what has gotten into you, but I won't stay to figure it out. Have fun at the party, Beca"

With that Stacie left the room, leaving the same distraught Beca that they had seen when they first walked into the room. Beca knew that she had fucked up, but she was way too preoccupied with her own disappointment to think how she could make it better with her friends.
