Almost there. This chapter will mark the end of Sector 1
Now that Remilia had all three keys, she can finally enter the break room and get the blue key-card.
It seems that every time she gets a new key or key-card, the enemies keep getting more numerous on the way to the next area. It's almost as if they get more and more desperate as she gets closer to leaving this Sector.
In fact, once Remi got to the entrance to the break room. There were so many zombies she was sure this was every single zombie in the Sector who came to greet her. Well she wasn't about to disappoint them.
"Star of David" Remilia called out as she called upon the red spheres and repeated the cycle of beam shooting of before followed by the blue spheres being sent to every zombie around. It wasn't long before all the zombies where nothing more than burnt smears on the ground.
Volunteer Dick Grease: Castrated, Sodomized and Impaled to a slow death Vlad Style
Well look at that. That Dick didn't die on the spot from what the Scarlet Devil did to him. Ouch.
But back to the break room's entrance. Remi was just done wiping out the zombies who blocked the way to the door when she realized that she hit way more target than she saw. No doubt about it, she was surrounded by Schizophrenia Monsters. Keyword "was", because now they're all dead. In fact...
Specimens Schizophrenia Monsters in Sector 1: All Killed
She won't have to worry about invisible monsters for the rest of the Sector.
With that out of the way, Remi put the three keys in the three locks. No additional puzzle regarding how to place or turn the keys, this time. Remi opened the door and entered the break room.
Inside the room were somehow more zombies than outside. Remi had only two words to say before they would dogpile her:
"Scarlet Netherworld"
And just like that the room went from having too many zombies to count to having only one zombie. And was a BIG one. Remi had no idea how she didn't hit him. But she recognized him as one of the zombies on the Plague Doctor's profile. The Iron Chariot was his code name. A oversized walking corpse in a massive suit of armor who wields a giant axe.
BGM: The Chariot from House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn
The Iron Chariot makes the first move with a vertical axe swing, but Remi sidesteps and the axe is stuck in the floor. The vampire takes the opportunity to land a hard punch in the armored zombie's stomach. The armor cracks and the Iron Chariot is send backwards, but he uses the momentum to get his axe unstuck.
He tries a horizontal swing but Remi just jumps over and lunges and the crack in the armor fists first and land a solid hit that shatters the front part of the armor.
He tries to swing diagonally toward her head, but she catches the axe before saying "I am stronger AND faster than you." before punching him the head hard enough to shatter most of the armor as he's thrown against the wall.
After that, his armor was pretty much scrap. So he just discards what little is left of it. Not that it would've protected him much, anymore.
This move caught Remilia off guard, so she was too distracted to catch the axe that her opponent threw at her.
It gets stuck in her chest starting with the shoulder it hit. Remi looked at her wound and said "Not bad, you're the first one in this facility to land such a hit. Such a shame it wasn't made of silver, otherwise I would've suffered more significant damage." with a grin before she took the axe out of her wound which has already started healing.
The Iron Chariot then grabbed something that was inside the back part of his armor. A rapier of sort. Before charging at Remilia with surprising speed.
He then started to stab rapidly in her direction, but Remi just caught the rapier. "Still not fast enough, unfortunately." Said Remi before unleashing a barrage of blows with his own axe at speeds he could never hope to achieve. Remi's blood on his axe bursting into scarlet flames and tearing through his flesh until he was nothing but a skeleton.
He gave out one last roar before collapsing.

The Iron Chariot: Stripped to the bone and Terminated by lack of functional organs
Now that that's over, on to find that blue key-card.
Zombies in Sector 1: All Re-Killed
Well look at that, bosses are included in the counter.
Now back to that key-card. Remi was able to find it in one of the discarded pieces of the armor.
And with that, she had all four key-cards. Now back to the main elevator.
As she walked out of the break room she noticed that there were Voice Mimics EVERYWHERE who were saying things such as "Target acquired!" or "Show no mercy!". There was no way they didn't understand human speech.
"I am glad you all came here. I was looking for an opportunity to test my new axe." Remi said with a grin before charging into the horde. The axe went through the beasts like butter and soon, there was nothing left of them but blood and chopped up corpses.
Specimens Voice Mimics in Sector 1: All Killed
Well that was easy.
Needless to say, the trip to the main elevator was very uneventful.
Once she got to the way toward Sector two, Remi was quick to start inserting the key-cards in the correct order as the "poem" said it.
Red.
Blue.
Yellow.
Green.
And with that, the main elevator finally opened it's doors. But Remi was quick to hear sound akin to an insect's "voice" coming from a nearby air vent. Out of it came a large insect looking like something between a spider and a centipede. A "Spiderpede", if you will. And Spiderpede was quick to place itself between Remi and the elevator entrance. Remi has no choice but to kill that thing if she wants to progress. Besides, after reading about it's production cycle, she just wants to crush that dirty bug.
BGM: Crusade from The Binding of Isaac: Wrath of the Lamb (not to confuse with the music of the same name from Rebirth)
Spiderpede tries to wrap itself around Remilia but she easily evades the attempt with a jump and decides to say airborne. Though Spiderpede jumps on the celling and begins crawling on it and tries to grab Remi again, but still without success.
Remi counterattacks with a swing of her axe, but Spiderpede has better reflexes than it looks and dodges the attack. It counters by slamming it's tail at Remi, sending her to the ground but not knocking her down. It then drops back to the ground in an attempt to tackle her.
But Remi instead grabs Spiderpede and swings it around like one throws a hammer at the Olympics. Throwing it...
Right into the main elevator's control panel, completely destroying it. But before Remi realizes the full weight of her mistake, the sprinklers start.
It's not the average sprinkler rain that's pouring down, it's more like an attempt to replicate a DOWNPOUR that's pouring down. There's enough water pouring down at once that Remi has water up to the ankles.
The draining system may not be doing a good job at draining all that water, but it's not due to a lack of trying. The draining is making the water flow like a river.
All of this water is just too much for a vampire and Remi is down on one knee while the other leg is barely keeping up as she tries to get back up. The water current hitting her nether region just makes it worse.
But such a compromising position is a golden opportunity for Spiderpede who doesn't waste any time wrapping itself around Remilia as it intended at the beginning of the battle.
There she is, with a large insect binding her weakened limbs in a spread eagle position and fully exposed to the downpour that isn't stopping. Her legs are halfway submerged in the river bellow and her chest and face are taking the direct brunt of the downpour. She can feel the many legs of her captor poking and pinching all over. It's legs are toying with her nipples as they are inserting themselves in her rear. She is miserable, she is crying and begging her captor to stop.
But Spiderpede isn't listening. The front part of it's body is approaching her slowly. That's when she notices something poking out of where it's spider abdomen should be.
"NO, STOP! ANYTHING BUT THAT!"
But it has already clung itself to her, it's spider legs wrapped around her tightly.
And that's when she felt it, the egg layer that would decide her fate, intruding itself in her womb and already releasing it's content. And all she could do was scream.
NOT
She remembers very well that Voice Guy told her not to mess with puzzle-related objects.
While she very much would NOT want to be caught in this much running water, she certainly would've been fast enough to enter the library and evade that downpour. She's no dear in the headlight, after all.
But why bother questioning how she would escape the downpour when she can simply prevent the downpour?
So instead of throwing Spiderpede against the control panel, she simply threw it against the nearest wall. She threw it so hard it left a hole.
When it got up, it immediately tried to lunge at Remi again, but she greeted him with her axe, her blood on the blade setting itself ablaze again as she swung it down on it.
She chopped the bug clean in half all the way from head to tail. It died long before the axe finished dividing it in two.

Specimen Spiderpede: Chopped right in half
Sadly, something in Spiderpede's body dulled the blade of the axe to the point of uselessness. It will probably break at the next use. Better make it count.
But at least it was dead at last. Remi wonders if this Sector had any more tricks up it's sleeves...
All hostiles Specimens in Sector 1 but the Recurring: All Killed
Well... I guess it doesn't have any more tricks up it's sleeves.
And with that, Remilia Scarlet entered the main elevator and went down into Sector 2.
But that when she noticed that the only buttons leading to numbered sectors were buttons for the Sectors 1 and 2).
"I am gonna need to look for more different paths to get to sis, aren't I?"
Sector 1: Finished at 100%
And with that, Sector 1 is over.
Sector 2 may take a little more time to come out, but it shouldn't take too long.
So until then, make sure to follow my fic in order to know when Sector 2 comes out.
