Chapter XII
The Ties That Bind
Bonnie was walking through a cemetery. She passed a gravestone reading Sheila Bennett, Beloved Grandmother, then another one reading Amelia Bennett, She was well esteemed and loyal to all who knew her, then another one reading The memory of Ernestine Bennett, Rest in peace. She saw a coffin sitting above ground and placed her hand on it. Klaus appeared behind her and she turned around to face him.
"I figured out how to open it. Can you?" Klaus asked her while rushing towards Bonnie and bite her. Bonnie woke up in the coffin and used her cell phone's screen to illuminate the inside of the coffin.
"Let me out! Please! Oh my god, oh my god!" She screams for help and banged on the coffin. "Fes patrus tribum, melan veras, et vasa quisa, exu quisa!" Bonnie said a spell while she banged furiously on the coffin. Then she heard footsteps outside. "Hey! I'm in here! I'm in here! I'm in here!" She said and a woman opened the coffin.

Bonnie, Eva and Elena were standing in front of the coffins in the old witch house.
"I've been having these dreams for days now. It's like the witches are trying to send me a message." Bonnie explained to the girls.
"I just can't believe that you guys kept this from me this whole time." Elena said to her sister and to Bonnie.
"Stefan thought, if you knew where the coffins were, Klaus could threaten people to get the information out of you." Bonnie explained to her.
"Damon never hides something from me. He can't lie to me and hide things from me so, I promised him that I wouldn't tell you until the time was right." Eva explained to her twin sister.
"So, these are the rest of his family?" Elena asked her.
"Yeah. Elijah and two others. This one... is the one we can't open. We don't know who is in it, or whats in it, only that I think my dream's telling me it'll help us kill Klaus." Bonnie explained to the girls.
"So, one of these two is the one they say is destined to be with me?" Eva whispered to herself.

"What the hell are you doing?" Stefan asked entering in the room.
"I needed her to know about the coffin." Bonnie said to Stefan.
"And I needed you to keep her out of it, Bonnie." Stefan stated to Bonnie. "Eva already knew it because can keep his mouth shut but Elena was supposed to be in the dark about this." Stefan stated looking at Eva.
"At least he is not a kidnapper." Eva said to him pissed about what he did the last time.
"So what are you gonna do, Stefan? Are you gonna kidnap me, so that I won't tell anyone?" Elena asked him with sarcasm on her voice.
"Don't tempt me, girls." Stefan said to Elena.
"I think I know, who can open the coffin, Stefan. And I need Elena and Eva's to help me find her." Bonnie stated to Stefan.
"Find who? What are you talking about?" Stefan asked with curiosity on his voice.
"I couldn't place her face at first. Then I realized..." Bonnie said pulling a photo out of her pocket showed to Elena and Eva.
"Oh my god, Bonnie." Elena said seeing who it was.
"Who is this?" Stefan said looking at the photo.
"It's my mom." Bonnie said to him.

At the Gilbert House, in the kitchen, Bonnie, Eva and Elena were searching through a pile of driver license records for Bonnie's mother Abby. They were looking through the records of everyone who was named Abby Bennett.
"By the way, I called Damon to see if he could find something, using a little of his powers, compulsion." Eva said and whispered the word compulsion which Bonnie nodded her head in understanding.
"Los Alamitos?" Elena asked and gave Bonnie the record for a woman named Abby Bennett Wilson.
"Too old." Bonnie stated to her.
"Honolulu?" Elena asked to Bonnie.
"I wish. How many of these are there?" Bonnie asked them.
"A lot, really. I asked The sheriff's office to pull up every single Abby Bennett in the country." Eva said to Bonnie looking through the papers.
"I know we haven't been able to really... that things had been weird, because of Jeremy, so, thank you for helping me with this. I know you both have a lot to deal with." Bonnie said to the girls.
"There's nothing more important, Bonnie." Elena said to Bonnie.
"Exactly." Eva agreed with Elena.
"It's surreal. Having to track down a woman, who bailed on her own kid." Bonnie said to them a little upset about her mother leaving her.
"You know, you don't have to, right? Let Stefan obsess over opening up the coffin. It doesn't have to fall on you." Elena said because she knew how Bonnie felt about her mother leaving her.
"The coffin is spell shut. That makes it a witch problem. So it does fall on me. I was bound to see my mother again sooner or later." Bonnie said to her friends.

Then, Damon entered the house holding a manilla folder in his hand. He kissed Eva on her head and looked at Bonnie.
"Sooner. Abby Bennett Wilson, Monroe, North Carolina. Born in Mystic Falls Hospital, graduated at Mystic Falls High... blah blah blah." Damon said handing Bonnie the folder and she opened it while looking at the driver's license record. "A little compulsion helps sped up the research process." He said with a smirk on his lips.
"This is her." Bonnie said to them.
"Yep. Road trip. I call shotgun." Damon stated to them.
"Yea… No." Elena stated to Damon.
"Want me to hang out in the back with Eva?" Damon asked her with a smirk and went to his girlfriend to give her a kiss on her head.
"You're not coming, Damon." Elena stated once again to Damon and Eva and Bonnie were looking at each other. They were going to fight just like siblings.
"Why? I'm the one who found her." Damon stated to Elena.
"Okay, Damon. Look. Bonnie hasn't seen her mom in over fifteen years. We don't need your snarky commentary narrating the experience." Elena said to him knowing how he was going to act which made them look at each other for a long time.
"What's going on with you two?" Bonnie asked them.
"Eva told her about our bond. Now it's weird. Have a great trip." Damon said and left the house Bonnie looked surprised at Elena, which she was lost for words.
"Great. Now you made him mad at you." Eva said to her sister. "I told that in a secret because we are still trying understand this bond between us." Eva continued to say. "And why are acting weird about the bond between me and my boyfriend?" She asked and left to find her boyfriend.

Outside, Damon was waiting for his girlfriend. When she comes out he grabbed and kissed her on the mouth.
"I missed you this morning." Damon said to Eva with a smile.
"I know. I was helping Bonnie." Eva explained to Damon. "But now I'm yours." She said with a seductive smile.
"Are you not going with them?" Damon asked her surprised.
"Nope. So take me wherever you want and have your way with me." Eva said with the same seductive voice.
"Right way." Damon said and took Eva's hand and both went to his car. In a second he dashed way on his car until they were at the Boarding House where they were spend some quality time together away from everyone.

Caroline entered her house and found Tyler was sitting in her living room. When he saw her, he stood up.
"What are you doing here?" Caroline asked him.
"I came to apologize." Tyler explained to the blonde vampire.
"Apologize?! You bit me. I could've died. I think we're way past apologies, Tyler." She blonde vampire as really mad at him.
"That's the problem. Klaus told me to do it and I said no and then just happened anyway. Like, it was completely out of my control. That's why I had your mom call him." Tyler said and then Bill Forbes walked into the room.

"Daddy?" Caroline asked surprised to see her father.
"Hi, Caroline." Bill said to his daughter.
"I thought, since he can resist compulsion, maybe he could teach me to resist the sire bound." Tyler explained to her.
"Can you help him?" Caroline asked her father.
"I'm gonna try." Bill simply told her.
"Why?" Caroline asked her father still surprised.
"Because he made a mistake and now he wants to make good and I understand that." Bill said to his daughter.

Eva was on the bathroom finishing putting her make-up when Damon came behind her and hugged her. He started to kiss her neck. He was ready for another round of love making with his girl.
"Come on, babe. We can't spend the rest of the day on the bed." Eva said to Damon giving him more acess to her neck.
"I know but a quickie is not bad." Damon said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Damon, we have to meet Ric in the Grill." Eva said with a smile.
"I don't wanna." Damon said whinning. "I wanna stay in the bed with you all day." The raven-haired vampire said kissing her neck again.
"How about we meet Ric and then come here spend the rest of the night on that bed over there." Eva proposed to him.
"Deal!" Damon said and kissed her on the lips.

At the Mystic Grill, Alaric and Dr. Meredith Fell were talking and drinking.
"Do you want anything else? A beer?" Alaric asked to Meredith looking at her.
"I would love one but I've got rounds in fifteen minutes, and a drunk doctor is a bad doctor." Meredith said to him.
"Well, depends on what kind of drunk you are." Alaric said to her.
"Angry." Meredith said and laughed together. "Thanks for lunch." She thanked to him.
"Yeah, sure. So… next time dinner?" Alaric suggested to her with a smile.
"Yeah, that would be great." Meredith said with a smile too.
"Cool. Take care." Alaric said to continuing smiling.
"Bye. Thanks." Meredith said and left The Grill when Damon and Eva passed her and walked up to Alaric.
"Who's that?" Damon asked his friend.
"My doctor." Alaric said to Damon.
"She's a doctor?" Eva asked him a little surprised by that and Alaric nodded his head.
"What's the damage?" Damon asked him while he sat down and with Eva on his lap.
"No damage." Alaric said to them.
"Come on, Ric, a fact of life. A girl that hot, that smart... damage." Damon said with a smirk and gave him a smack on his shoulder.
"Well, I'm looking for red flags. Her ex called her a psycho case the other day." Alaric explained to Damon and Eva.
"Yeah, but it comes from her ex, doesn't count." Eva said with a smirk which made her boyfriend smirk too.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Alaric agreed with them while Damon picked up a notebook from the table and opened it.
"That's yours." Damon said and tossed it to Alaric.
"Ooh, I wonder how my ex's would call me?" Alaric asked out loud with sarcasm.
"Nothing. They're all dead." Damon said with a smirk.
"Hey! One of them was my mother… a bitch but my mother." Eva said smacking Damon on his head.
"Sorry, babe!" Damon said and kissed Eva's cheek.
"Huh. Well, her ex is the medical examiner so he is dead adjacent." Alaric said with a smirk to his friends.
"She dated the medical examiner?" Damon asked him already thinking about the dead of this morning.
"Mm-hmm." Alaric said nodding his head and Eva looked at Damon because she remembered the dead guy from this morning.
"Well, I don't think he's dead adjacent, I think he's just dead." Damon stated to him.
"What?" Alaric asked surprised to hear that.
"Murdered." Damon added simply.
"The Sheriff Forbes is trying to keep a lid on it because he was staked in the chest like a vampire." Eva finished explaining to Alaric about the guy.
"Well, Meredith didn't say anything about that." Alaric told them.
"Well, red flag number two." Damon said to Alaric.
"Who do you think killed him?" Alaric asked to them.
"I don't know but if I was a cop, your sexy doctor lady friend would definitely be a suspect." Damon stated to Alaric.

When Stefan got inside the Salvatore Boarding House, Klaus was sitting in a chair, drinking alcohol while music was blaring. When Stefan reached the radio, he turned the music down.
"What are you doing here, Klaus?" Stefan asked Klaus not liking that the hybrid was in his house.
"Enjoying our stalemate." Klaus said to Stefan with a smirk.
"What do you want?" Stefan asked Klaus one more time.
"The question is what you want? My hybrids left town as you demanded, so please tell me what I need to do to get my family back." Klaus asked Stefan.
"Well, see... Klaus... I'm not negotiating." Stefan stated to Klaus.
"And you understand, that holding them indefinitely is the same thing as dropping them in the ocean?" Klaus asked and stated at the same to Stefan.
"No, No. You leave Mystic Falls and then give me call in a few years and we'll talk." The Salvatore said to Klaus.
"I can give you another chance. Just one more. Let's make a reasonable deal." Klaus tried to negociate with Stefan.
"Or what? You make one move and I will drop..." Stefan said a menacing voice.
"Yes, right. Crazy Stefan. How is that working out for you? Any friends left?" Klaus asked Stefan while he was laughing.

Inside Bonnie's car, Elena and Bonnie are driving to Bonnie's mom.
"I just can't believe that I'm actually going to see her. Or meet her. Sort of. Since I don't really remember her." Bonnie explained to her friend.
"You don't really talk about her." Elena said and worried with her friend.
"What's to say? She left, never wrote, never called. Not even when my Grams died. Could we talk about you and Damon instead?" Bonnie asked worried with Bonnie.
"I'm not talking about it. He is hurting just like I'm hurting because of Stefan." Elena explained to her friend.
"I mean… how is he?" Bonnie asked Elena.
"It doesn't matter." Elena said to Bonnie.
"That means it was." Bonnie said to her friend when her cellphone rang. "Oh... It's Stefan. I told him I'd call him as soon as I got the address." Bonnie explained to Elena.
"Ignore him. Bonnie, your about to see your mom for the first time in 15 years. I'm not letting anyone ruin that moment." Elena stated to her.
"Yeah, but he's gonna keep at it until I pick up." Bonnie said to Elena.
"Fine." Elena said while picked up the phone. "What?" She said to Stefan.
"Where are you?" Stefan asked her.
"Bonnie and I are gonna spend the night at the lake house, while we wait for Sheriff Forbes to give us new addresses." Elena said to Stefan.
"You're kidding me, right?" Stefan asked not believing in what he was hearing.
"No, Stefan, I'm not. We need a night off from your insanity." Elena stated to Stefan.
"Klaus is getting antsy. He knows that I'm stalling. We need to move faster." Stefan stated to Elena too.
"Well, we are doing everything we can. So, could you maybe not call every five minutes?" She asked him.
"Sure, Elena. Whatever you say." Stefan said while he was in Elena's house and picked up the driver's license record with Abby's North Carolina address on it while they hanged up.

Klaus was in the Mystic Grill and was talking on the phone at the bar with his minion Daniel who was sitting in his parked car.
"How's life on the road?" Klaus asked him with a smirk.
"Scenic. How's life in Mystic Falls without any hybrids?" Daniel asked Klaus.
"Boring. For now." Klaus answered to him with a new smirk.
"If you want any of us back, you just have to say the word." Daniel said to him.
"There's no need. I've been making friends with the town civil servants. There's a deputy, obnoxiously chatty, but useful nonetheless. You're clear, what you need to do?" Klaus asked to his hybrid.
"I got it covered." Daniel said to Klaus and got out of the car, went up to a house, rang the bell and a woman opened the door.

"Cute house." Elena said while watched the house.
"Yeah, in the middle of nowhere." Bonnie agreed with Elena.
"You ready?" Elena asked her and they got out of the car. When they were close to the front door, they rang the doorbell and a teenage boy came up the stairs beside them.

"Hey, there." The teenage boy said to them.
"Hey, we're looking for, um, Abby Wilson." Elena said to the teenage boy.
"She not home. There anything I can do for you?" The teenage boy asked them.
"It's okay, we can come back." Bonnie said and started to walk away, but Elena grabbed her arm and ushered her back.
"I'm sorry, but you look so familiar." The teenage boy said to Bonnie.
"Ehm, Abby is my mom." Bonnie said to him a little nervous.
"Oh... I'm Jamie. You guys wanna come inside? Right this way." Jamie said and guided them to the kitchen. "You guys sure you don't want anything? We got fresh OJ, coconut water, some mango guava something." He asked to the girls.
"Water is fine." Bonnie said to him.
"Cool." Jamie said to her a little awkwardly.
"So, are we...like related?" Bonnie asked him.
"Oh, nah. Abby's not my mom." Jamie said to her.
"Oh, good." Elena said with relief.
"Yeah, she dated my old man back in the day. He's kind of a deadbeat, so when they broke up she took me in. Put me through school. She didn't freak out when I totalled her car, twice." Jamie explained to them.
"She sounds... great." Bonnie said a little awkwardly when Abby entered the house.

At the Old Lockwood Cellar, Bill chained Tyler up while Caroline was standing beside them.
"How do you know, this is gonna work?" Caroline asked her father.
"That's a process. It took decades, to train myself to resist compulsion. Brain's like a muscle. The more you use it, the more it can do. A sire bond, at its core, is about one thing...gratitude. If you believe you owe Klaus your life, ask yourself why." Bill explained to his daughter.
"I was cursed. Every full moon I had to change into a wolf. It was torture. Klaus took that away." Tyler explained to Bill.
"He freed you from your pain and now you feel indebted to him. To break the sire bound you gotta make yourself turn. Own your pain then you'll owe Klaus nothing and you will be free." Bill explained to Tyler.
"But how can he turn? It's not a full moon." Caroline asked not fully understanding.
"He doesn't need one. You're a hybrid now, right? I mean, you can turn at will now, am I right?" Bill tried to confirm with Tyler.
"Yeah, but I don't know how to just start." Tyler stated to Bill.
"You're making excuses." Bill stated to Tyler.
"You don't understand! When I turn, I break every bone in my body." Tyler explained to him getting angry.
"You asked for my help. This is the only way. How badly do you want your freedom from Klaus?" Bill asked him again while Tyler considered that and looked at Caroline.
"Okay." Tyler finally said after nodding slighty.
"Okay." Bill said and Tyler walked back near the wall, tugged at his chains, then concentrated and suddenly he started to transform.

At Abby's House, Bonnie was holding a picture of Jamie dressed in a graduation gown in her hands.
"How are you holding up?" Elena asked her friend.
"I'll be fine. I'm not here to get my mom back, I'm just here to get her help." Bonnie said to her friend when Abby came in from the kitchen.
"So I hope you guys are hungry, cause food has always been my go-to ice-breaker." Abby said to both girls.
"You have a really beautiful home." Elena said to Abby.
"You're so sweet. Just like your mom." Abby said to Elena about her mother.
"You knew my mom?" Elena asked surprised by that.
"Miranda was my best friend." Abby said to Elena with a smile.
"So, you had a daughter and a best friend and you still left?" Bonnie asked her mother with some sarcasm on her voice.
"My best friend is why I left. Fifteen years ago a vampire came to town. Looking for you and your sister, Elena." Abby said looking from Bonnie to Elena. "Looking for the doppelgängers. No one could manage to kill him. So I lured him out of town and cast a spell to desiccate him in a crypt in Charlotte." Abby finished telling them what had happened for her to leave.
"Mikael. He was an Original vampire." Elena stated remembering him.
"It took every ounce of power I had. Almost killed me. I recovered. But my magic didn't and my powers never came back." Abby explained to the girls.
"And neither did you." Bonnie stated to her mother.
"It wasn't that simple." Abby said to her daughter.
"It wasn't? You cast a spell, put Mikael down and then... what? You had to teach Jamie how to drive?" Bonnie asked with sarcasm in her voice.
"Bonnie..." Elena said to her friend.
"This was a mistake. She has no magic. She can't help us." Bonnie said and started to leave but Abby ran after her and grabbed her arm.
"Bonnie, wait, please. Don't go. Talk to me... Please?" Abby pleaded to her daughter.
"I'll wait outside." Elena said left the two alone.

When Elena was outside the house, went to a derelict barn and suddenly Stefan was standing in front of her.
"Hi, Elena. Nice lake house." Stefan said to her with some sarcasm.

At the Mystic Falls Hospital, Damon and Eva were waiting for Dr. Fell in the reception area when she came to him.
"You know, we never got a chance to official meet, Doctor... Fell." Damon with a smirk on his lips.
"You're Alaric's friend, right? Damon Salvatore and you are Eva Gilbert." Meredith said looking to Eva and then turned to Damon again. "I saw you at the council meeting. What are you doing here?" She asked to the raven haired vampire.
"Strolling the halls. You know, I like to wave to newborns through the window." Damon said with sarcasm which made Eva shook her head and Meredith smiled at him and started to walk away. "I'm sorry about your boyfriend. Animal attack. Brutal." He continued to say while going after her with Eva.
"Ex-boyfriend. And thanks. I'm still kind of processing." Meredith said with a fake smile on her face.
"Yeah, I'm sure. You know, I just thought I come by and tell you, that it wasn't an animal attack." Damon said and looked down at some papers. "But then I realized. You signed the death certificate." He said to her with a smirk and Meredith opened the door and went inside which was followed by Damon and Eva.
"Would you rather, I say, he was staked like a vampire?" Meredith asked him.
"Wasn't he the guy, that coined the phrase animal attack?" Damon asked with sarcasm to the doctor.
"Why do you even care?" Meredith asked him.
"Because Ric likes you. And if you are a psychopath that would really suck for him." The raven haired vampire said to him.
"You think I killed my ex-boyfriend?" Meredith asked them.
"Basically." Eva said shrugging her shoulders.
"I think psychopaths are incredible high-maintenance." Damon said to the doctor with a smirk.
"I agree with that." Eva said with a smirk too.
"If you care about your friend, go figure out, how Alaric came into the ICU on his death-bed and walked out an hour later without a scratch." Meredith said to Damon.
"Fair enough." Damon said and started to leave with Eva but Meredith Fell stabbed him with a vervain shot.
"Damon!" Eva shouted when Damon fell into to her and they both fell onto the floor, she unconscious for hitting her head and him because of the vervain. She hurriedly took a blood sample from Damon and left shortly before he awoke.

At the old Lockwood Cellar, Tyler was turning and his bones were breaking while Tyler looked up at Bill.
"I can't. I can't." Tyler said tired of all the times he tried.
"Try harder." Bill said pushing Tyler.
"Can't he just rest for one second?" Caroline asked her father.
"We're dong this my way, Caroline. If you can't handle it, you should go." Bill said to his daughter.
"He's right, Caroline. Just go." Tyler said turning to Caroline.
"What?! No! Tyler!" Caroline shouted to him.
"Go, Caroline!" Tyler shouted again and Caroline left. Bill took an axe and repeatedly hit him with it. "What are you doing? What the hell, man?!" Tyler asked him.
"Does it bother you?" Bill asked Tyler while continued to hit him.
"Knock it off!" Tyler said getting pissed at Bill.
"Good. Get angry. It's in you. You know it is." Bill said and went to strike Tyler once again but Tyler stood up and tried to attack him which Bill stepped away in time.
"I said, knock it off!" Tyler screamed at Bill.
"Your bond to Klaus is putting my daughter in danger. Either you turn or I kill you right here, right now." Bill said and Tyler moved back and started to turn again.

Still at Abby's house, both Abby and Bonnie were sitting at the dining room table talking about everything.
"You've grown into such a beautiful young woman, Bonnie." Abby said to her daughter with a smile.
"Please, just stop with the muffins and the compliments. I just wanna know the truth for once." Bonnis stated to her. "Why didn't you come home?" She asked her mother.
"I had no magic. I was in a new city and I realized I had a chance to be somebody else, to be Abby Wilson, the woman... not Abby Bennett, the witch." Abby started explaining to her daughter. Abby finished telling Bonnie her story.
"You don't know?" Bonnie asked surprised that Abby didn't know her mother's death.
"What? How?" Abby asked surprised to Bonnie.
"We were doing a rough spell and we both exhausted ourselves. Her more than me." The tanned girl said and started to cry while Abby started weeping in turn.
"Well she raised you right. I'm sure, she would've been proud of you... Well, now you know my whole story." Abby said to her daughter with a smile.
"Yep." Bonnie said with some sarcasm on her voice.
"How's about you tell me yours? What brings you to me?" Abby asked her daughter.
"It was a dream, actually. I thought, you were supposed to help us. But if you don't have any magic, it's..." Bonnie started to explain to her.
"Not spells, no. But... I'm not completely useless. I mean, the earth still provides herbs and such. There might be something I can do." Abby said to Bonnie.
"I don't think so." Bonnie said shaking her head.

Meanwhile, Elena and Stefan were standing in the barn and talking.

"Hey! Everything all right out here?" Jamie asked when entered the barn.
"Hey, Jamie, go back inside, okay? Please, trust me, it's better off for you there." Elena said to the young boy because she knew that Stefan could do something.

"I'd listen to her. Get back upstairs, man." Stefan advised Jamie.
"I said, I don't think so." Jamie said to Stefan. Stefan grabbed him by the throat and compelled him.
"Go back upstairs, before I tear your damn throat out. Do you understand me?" Stefan let go of him and Jamie walked away.
"I don't think you've realized how bad you've gotten!" Elena shouted at him.
"It's the way it has to be, Elena." Stefan stated to Elena.
"Oh, yeah, right. Out-villain the villain. I get it." Elena said with sarcasm on her voice.
"You're not supposed to be here." Jamie said when he came back with a shotgun.
"Jamie, what are you doing?" Elena aske Jamie when she saw the shotgun.
"What I was told. He's not supposed to be here." Jamie said with a monotone voice.
"Elena, he's compelled." Stefan said when Jamie shoot Stefan and he fell on the ground on his back.

At the hospital, Damon woke up after a while, when he saw Eva unconscious and a bit of blood on her head.
"Eva? Eva?" Damona asked in panic and put his hand on her neck to see if she was alive because he knew she consumed his blood everyday but they hadn't decided the day she would became a vampire. When he felt her breathing, Damon sighed in relief. He bite his wrist and put on her mouth. "Drink it, babe. Drink." He said and after a few seconds, Eva started to drink and her wound started to close. "I'm going to kill that doctor." Damon promised to himself.

Inside the house, Bonnie heard the gunshot.
"What was that?" The tanned girl asked while stood up and went to the door. Abby poured some herbs into her hands, rubbed them, then went up to Bonnie from behind her and placed her hand with the herbs over Bonnie's mouth which made her sank to the floor.

At Alaric's apartment, Damon entered with Eva on his arms and put her on Alaric's bed while Alaric was lifting weights on his incline bench.
"What are you doing here?" Alaric asked him.
"Looking for a bunny. You're good. For now." Damon said with sarcasm and still pissed because of what Meredith did.
"Are you still obsessed of Meredith?" Alaric said with sarcasm and put the barbell back in the rack and sat up. "I mean, don't you have an Original vampire to care about?" The vampire hunter asked Damon.
"Uh ah ah! Do ten more of those. You're gonna wanna buff up, if you start dating this one. Self-defense and all." Damon said with sarcasm and poured himself a drink.
"What's your problem?" Alaric asked Damon seeing that the raven vampire was really pissed with something.
"Your doctor vervained me and then she bloodjacked me." Damon said pissed and then pointed to the bed. "And because of her, my girlfriend, hit her head when I fell on the top of her. Thanks to my lucky stars she was alive and only needed to drink my blood. She still isn't ready to be a vampire." Damon finished.
"What? I mean, when did you even see her?" Alaric asked Damon and then remembered about Eva. "How is she?" He asked worried.
"Eva is going to fine. I was really worried." Damon said with a calm voice because Eva was going to be alright. "When I went to the hospital, to accuse her of killing her ex-boyfriend. Which by the way, very sensitive subject." The raven said to his best friend.
"Damon, what the hell are you doing?" Alaric asked Damon pissed at him too.
"Why are you mad at me?" Damon asked surprised by his attitude.
"I told you I'd handle this!" Alaric shouted at Damon.
"I proved your theory... diagnosed psycho case. You're welcome." Damon said to Alaric with a smirk on his lips.

At Abby's House, Jamie was tying Elena's hands behind her to a post and Stefan was lying on the ground, groaning in pain.

In some road it was already night while Daniel was leaning against the side of his car which was parked just off a country road when Abby pulled up behind his car.
"So?" Daniel asked Abby.
"She didn't tell me where the coffins are. The vampire showed up." Abby informed the hybrid about Klaus's coffins.
"Did Jamie take care of him?" Daniel asked Abby about Stefan.
"He did. But she's not gonna talk now. There's no way. I tried." Abby said to the hybrid while Bonnie opened the car door and got out.
"Well, you should try again." Daniel said to Abby and she looked back at the car and walked over to her daughter.
"What did you do to me?" Bonnie asked her mother.
"You'll be fine. But don't try any spells. Those herbs I used muted your magic." Abby explained to her daughter.
"Where's Elena?!" Bonnie asked after looking around for Elena.
"She'll be fine too." Abby said to her and then asked her for some help. "Bonnie, listen to me. I need your help. I need you to tell me where those coffins are." She said with a desesperate voice.
"Why?" Bonnie asked her not liking what Abby was asking her to do.
"Because if you don't, that man compelled Jamie to kill himself." Abby explained pointing to Daniel.
"I can't. This goes beyond you and me." Bonnie stated to her mother and Abby sneakily took her mobile phone ou and held it low so Daniel couldn't see. She saw her mother starting typing a text message.
"All you need to do, is tell me where they are. Then we'll have held up our end of the bargain." Abby explained to her daughter. "Bonnie, please." She pleaded once again and handed her phone where the text message said Warn your friends.

Still at Abby's house, Jamie was walking to the barn while Elena was moving her hands up and down so the rope that was tying her was rubbing on the post that she was tied to to try break the rope while Stefan was still lying on the ground.
"I've almost got it." Elena said and tried to continue to cut the rope with a nail on the post that she was tied to.
"Abby hasn't called yet." Jamie said a little worried.
"Jamie, please, just let us go." Elena pleaded with Jamie when he suddenly cocked his gun at her.
"No! Please don't do anything." Jamie pleaded with Elena. "Look, I don't know why I shot him, I don't know why I'm holding this gun, but if you move or do anything, I'ma shoot him again." Jamie explained to her.
"Okay, I won't. Who gave you that gun?" Elena said and then asked about the gun.
"A man came by earlier today, he gave me a wooden buckshot and told me if anyone got in our way, I'm supposed to shoot him." Jamie explained to Elena.
"What else did he say?" Elena asked to the tanned boy.
"If Abby didn't find the location of some coffins, I'm supposed to shoot myself." Jamie explained to her and Elena knew that he was talking about Klaus coffins.
"What about me? What did he say about me?" Elena asked him with a worried tone on her voice.
"I'm not supposed to hurt you." Jamie stated to her.
"Are you sure? Because these ropes are so tight, that it is hurting me." Elena said already planning something. Jamie walked towards making Elena to be concerned and then suddenly released herself, grabbed the gun from Jamie and knocked him out with the butt of the gun and rushed over to Stefan. "What can I do to help?" Elena asked to the youngest Salvatore.
"Every time I move, the wood shifts inside of me. I can feel it scraping against my heart. You need to get the pieces out." Stefan explained to Elena while she nodded her head and began to take out the wood pieces.

At the Old Witch house, Damon and Eva entered the room were the coffins were. There were candles lit everywhere and the coffins are invisible. Both Damon and Eva stopped, when Damon heard footsteps. It was Klaus.
"What took you so long? Hiding behind your girlfriend and your witchy friends. And in squalor, no less." Klaus said and all of sudden the candles burn brighter and Klaus fells to his knees, clutching his head and shouted in pain.
"Insulting a bunch of dead witches is not very smart. I made the exact same mistake first time I came in here." Damon advised Klaus.
"Well, you know, the funny thing about witches is, that living or death, they care about their own. A hundred dead witches have a thousand living descendants..." Klaus said in a forced with strained when the pain subside. Then the pain returned and he shouted out in pain once again. "And I have no problem, killing every last one of them, if I don't get my coffins back. As we speak, my hybrid friend is prepared to end the Bennett line." He said in a loud voice while addressed to the room. Then the candles died down suddenly and Klaus wasn't in pain anymore. "Now... please... show me the coffins." Klaus said once again to the room and then he could see the coffins. "Here we are." The hybrid said and looked at Damon. "Where's the fourth?" Klaus shouted at the room getting angry. "Show me!" He ordered to the witches.
"Well, here's the thing. They can't. It's not here." Damon stated to Klaus with a smirk.
"What did you do?" Klaus asked Damon with a glare on his face.
"Well, Bonnie gave me the heads-up. I didn't have enough time, to get all four, but I did have time to get one." Damon explained with a smirking at Klaus.
"Damon, stop provoking Klaus! Do you want to start a fight right nouw?" Eva tried to reason with Damon because she wanted to finish this without a blood sheed.
"Listen to your girlfriend because I will tear you, limb from limb. And only then, when you're a riving mass of blood and flesh, will I rip your heart from your chest." Klaus said with a angry look on his face.
"Sorry. The same rules apply. You know, leverage and all. I know you want your family back. But something tells me, you want what's in that coffin a lot more." Damon said once again to Klaus.
"If I were you start to saying goodbye to Eva because you are going to lose her very soon because she belongs to my brother and he doesn't share." Klaus said to Damon with a smirk and turned to Eva with a smile. "And don't worry Eva because my family and myself will always protect you."
"Just tell me why you are so sure that I will belong to him? What his name?" Eva asked him with a curious look while Damon was hiding that he was jealous.
"His name is Kol. He is around your age and it was prophecy that only the last pair of the doppelgangers could heal our family." Klaus explained to her. "The two girls would be the soulmates of two Originals." He continued to explain to the Gilbert girl.
"The last pair of the doppelgangers? That's Elena and me." Eva said after hearing what the hybrid had explained.
"Exactly. You and Elena have the protection of the Original family. No one is going to hurt you. And by the way, your sister is promised to one of us." Klaus explained to her and he was hoping that the prophecy would happen.
"Who is he?" She asked because she was going to tell her sister about this.
"You already meet him." Klaus said to her with a smile on his face. "If you and Elena want to know more about this, come to the mansion anytime you want to ask your questions." He said to her once again with another smile on his face and then turned to Damon. "See you soon, Salvatore." The hybrid said picking up his coffins and left the witch house.
"Don't believe him, Eva. We belong together, just like Elena and Stefan belong together." The black haired vampire assured Eva while he assured himself too and hoping that Kol and the other brother, didn't steal the girls from him and Stefan. These girls were everything to him and his brother.

At the Mystic Falls Hospital, Alaric was waiting for Meredith and when she came out of a room.
"Want to tell me what you're up to." Alaric asked Meredith with his arms crossed his chest with a glare on his face.
"You talked to Damon and Eva." She stated to him.
"Yeah, I did." He stated to her too.
"He wasn't supposed to wake up so soon. I was only worried about Eva because she bumped her head on the floor. I used enough vervain, to sedated him for hours." The doctor explained to Alaric.
"Well, he drinks it everyday to build up an immunity, so people like you don't get the jump on him." Alaric explained to the crazy doctor.
"I'm not crazy, Ric." Meridith said once again.
"Really? Then what are you?" Alaric asked him when the Paramedics were bringing in a severely injured patient in a stretcher.
"You really wanna know? Stick around." Meridith stated to him ready to show him what use she had for the vampire blood.
"Is it Bill Forbes" Alaric asked when looks at the patient's face.

Still at Abby's house, Elena was still pulling the wooden pieces out from Stefan's chest at the barn, but he keept screaming, so she stopped.
"I'm just trying to help!" Elena shouted at him not liking that he was always screaming at her.
"Just get it out, Elena, please. Just get it out." Stefan said to her with a pained voice.
"Keep screaming, maybe I'll feel sorry for you." Elena said while trying again and finally got it out and finally Stefan stopped crying out in pain.
"You've changed. Something is different about you. You're stronger. Tougher." Stefan stated looking at his ex-girlfriend.
"You're not the only one, who changed, Stefan. We all had to." Elena told him trying not to explain everything.
"It's good though." Stefan continued to say to Elena.
There's something I have to tell you. And it's not because I feel guilty, that it happened. It's because I feel guilty, that you don't know." Elena said while pulling out another piece of wood from Stefan's chest. "I had a conversation with Damon that changed the way I view him." She continued and Stefan looked down while he tried avoiding Elena's eyes. Stefan was clearly upset and Elena seemmed to feel bad. When she finished, Elena placed the wooden pieces on Stefan's chest. "There. All done." She said and Stefan got up without saying a word and walked away from her.

"Exactly what you think it is. Vampire blood." She said to Alacric and administered it to Bill. "You wanna to know my secret? I cheat. I'm a doctor and I hate when people die. So when I have the ability to do something about it. I do." She said and Alaric had a
a look of respect for Meredith.

"I didn't plan on having the heart to heart conversation with him. Talking with about you and me, about him and Eva and the part that Eva is supposed to be with one of the Originals, being protected by them. About me being afraind to lose my sister to them just like him." Elena explained to Stefan.
"You're better than him, Elena. Your sister is better tha him and the Originals. You and Eva are better than both of us and the Originals." Stefan said and got inside his car and reversed out of the driveway.

Still in the middle of a road, Bonnie was waiting for Elena and was talking with her mother. The hybrid, Daniel had already left.
"Elena is on her way. Jamie's safe. He's a little bruised, but he's safe." Bonnie said to her mother about the boy she was raising.
"You think the hybrid will come back?" Abby asked her daughter a little worried.
"You kept your end of the bargain, Klaus usually keeps his. You're willing, to do all this for him... and he's not even your family." Bonnie said to her with a sad tone.
"He is my family, Bonnie. I know, that might be hard for you to hear, but he is. But that doesn't mean that I don't care about you. I wanna help you." Abby said to Bonnie hoping that she would aceppt her help.
"You can't. You've no magic and I don't trust you." Bonnie stated to Abby.
"When I put Mikael down... my magic didn't just leave me. It drifted away. The longer I stayed away from you the weaker it gone. I think, that nature was punishing me for abandoning you. Maybe you can help me get my magic back." Abby explained to her daughter about the time she desiccated Mikael.
"I thought you said you didn't want it any more?" Bonnie asked surprised by what Abby had said to her.

"Once. To break the sire bound. Turning needs to be painless... and from what I saw today... we're still a long way off." Bill explained to Tyler.

"Okay. Then tell me how you survived getting hit by a truck. Your injuries were fatal. Was it vampire blood?" Meridith asked with a curious voice.
"That and... this ring protects me from death at the hands of supernatural beings." Alaric said and showed his hand.
"A vampire hunter, who can't be killed by vampires. Convenient!" Meridith said and started to slide the ring off his finger but Alaric stopped her. "Are you worried I'm a supernatural being?" She asked him.
"One can never be too careful." Alaric said and moved close to her face but stepped away from her because he remembered about Jenna, that was at campus finishing a paper when Elena and Eva entered the house, which made of all of them a little akward because the girls almost saw the kiss between Alaric and Meridith.
"Oh. Umm, hey, umm, sorry." Elena apologized to them.
"Sorry." Eva said the same thing.
"I'm gonna go." Meridith informed them and prepared to leave.
"Okay, yeah, sure, sure, sure." Alaric agreed with and she left the Gilbert house feeling a little akward.

"The minute that you slept on that couch it became your place too. We needed you and... you stayed. So thank you for that. Hey, look, I know it's hard. But Jenna's is a vampire and you were not ready for that. And you're allowed to move on." Elena explained to him.
"We know you two broke up and she left for a while to organize her thoughts and finishing college. And she knows you are here to protect us. And like Lena said, you are allowed to move on." Eva said to with a smile.
"We are going to sleep. Night!" Elena said to Alaric and went upstairs to her room.
"Night!" Eva said with a smile and followed her sister.

Elena and Eva after getting ready for bed they were on Eva's room talking and Eva wanted to tell her about what Klaus had said to her.
"What you wanted to talk with me?" Elena asked her sister with a worried face.
"It's about that story that the Originals are saying about me." Eva explained to her sister and hoped she wouldn't freak out when she tell her about what Klaus told her.
"Tell me. I'm starting to get worried." Elena said with a worried look.
"Damon and me were at the old witch house when Klaus came to take back the coffins but Damon just got one in time to hide. It was the one that is locked. Maybe it can be a weapon to kill him. I don't know." Eva started to explain to her sister.
"And? There's more?" Elena asked her watching her sister's face.
"Yes, there is." Eva paused to think what she was going to say to her sister and the started again telling her everything that the hybrid told her. "He said to Damon that he is going to lose me because his brother doesn't like to share anything." Eva said to her sister that was shocked.
"There is more, right?" Elena asked her sister and Eva nodded.
"He told us about a prophecy about the last two doppelgangers are the ones that are going to heal his family. That we have their protection." Eva pausing her explanation and then continued telling Elena everything. "The last doppelgangers that exist it's you and me. The Original destined for me is named Kol and he is around our age and the Original destined to you, we already meet him but Klaus didn't tell which one is. Could be Elijah, Klaus or the other brother which name I don't know." She finished her story.
"What?" Elena asked surprised.
"Yes, what I told you, is what Klaus told me. He also said if we have some questions about this prophecy to go to his house." Eva continued to tell her sister.
"Do you want to know?" Elena asked Eva and she saw her nodding her head. "Then we go there ask our questions." She said to Eva. "Now let's go to sleep." Elena said once again and left to her roon through the bathroom she shared with Eva.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Stefan entered inside while Damon was standing in the front of the fireplace.
"Oh, you're still alive. I assume, that means Klaus didn't get his coffins." Stefan said surprised to see his brother alive.
"Don't look so happy, I was only able to get one of them out in time. It was the locked one." The black haired vampire to Stefan.
"Probably a good choice." Stefan said to his brother.
"Yeah. You know, if you're banking on Bonnie's momma to open it, you're screwed. She doesn't have any powers." Damon said to his brother about Abby's being powerless.
"Nah, doesn't surprise me. Its been that kind of night." Stefan said to his brother because of conversation with Elena.
"Is Elena okay?" The raven haired vampire asked his brother and Stefan turned around and punched Damon in the face. "I take it you two had a heart-to-heart. And I take it, you don't wanna talk about it. Noted. So why don't we talk about this?" Damon asked again and held up the silver dagger used to kill Elijah.
"What did you do?" Stefan asked surprised to see a dagger on his brother hand.

At the Original Family house, Daniel shoved the coffins in a big room while Klaus was standing beside him.
"You've got your family back. Finally. You're gonna open them?" Daniel asked with a curious voice to Klaus.
"Not quite yet. I still have some unfinished business to take care of." Klaus said to his hybrid.
"What business?" Daniel asked with a curious voice, when, suddenly, Daniel was squirming and fell to the floor, dead. Elijah was standing behind him with his heart in his hand which made Klaus look shocked.
"So, Niklaus..." Elijah started to ask him.
"Elijah!" Klaus said surprised to see his brother.
"What did I miss?" Elijah asked to his younger brother.
