Chapter XIII
Bringing Out The Dead
Still at Klaus's Mansion, Elijah was standing before Klaus, wiping the blood off his hands with a white handkerchief after killing Daniel.
"You look surprised to see me. So it wasn't you that removed the dagger from my chest?" Elijah asked his brother.
"You look like you could do with a drink. And we have a lot to discuss, so shall we go?" Klaus said to his brother but Elijah attacked him, making Klaus fly through a window. "Easy. I just finished renovating." Klaus said a angry voice and rushed at Elijah which made him crash into a table while breaking it. "You know you have every right to be mad at me. But I kept my word, I reunited you with our family." Klaus said using sarcasm on his voice which made Elijah attack him again and Klaus was knocked against a coffin. Klaus opened the one next to it, undaggered a boy whose had a face of a teenager, who was lying inside, rushed to Elijah and held him against a closed coffin by his throat. Klaus was holding the dagger up threateningly. "Don't make me do this to you again Elijah!" Klaus said with a upsetting voice.
"Come on. Use it. I dare you. You'll have Kol to deal with." Elijah stated looking at the man that Klaus undaggared while the hybrid lowered the dagger.
"Mikael is dead." Klaus said while releasing his grip and Elijah stood up, surprised.
"What did you say?" Elijah asked his brother surprised.
"I killed him. With his own weapon. He's gone Elijah. Forever." Klaus explained to his brother about their father's death.
"Why does our family remain in these coffins? Finn for over 900 years. Kol for over a century. She is here in Mystic Falls, he deserves to be awake and to be with her." Elijah said to Klaus pointing to Kol.
"Because of Stefan and Damon Salvatore. Because they hold the one thing keeping me from freeing them. There are things that you do not know about our past, Elijah. About our mother's death. Things I never wanted you to know but I'm ready to tell you now. I only ask that you remember the oath of loyalty you once swore to me." Klaus said while he went to a small table where there was a small urn and removes the lid. Then he dipped the dagger inside and then walked over to Kol's coffin.
"What are you doing?" Elijah asked his brother while Klaus was daggering Kol once again on the chest.
"Always and forever. I need you to stand by my side. Be my brother. Help me destroy the Salvatores and I promise you our family will be whole again." Klaus said and closed Kol's coffin lid. "Then Kol will be awake to be with Eva forever and I can finally be with Elena forever." The hybrid said with a genuine smile for his and brother happiness.
"What?" Elijah asked with a surprised voice.
"I told Eva about the prophecy, that included her sister too. I offered my protection and our family's too." Klaus explained to Elijah. "And also said that if they have questions, they can come to us. Shouldn't have said anything to her? Because she is going to tell everything to Elena." Klaus said to his brother.
"No. You did the right thing. Just let's hope that the Salvatores, leave them alone when they come to us. They are family." Elijah agreed with his brother and went get a drink.

At the Gilbert house, Elena and Eva came downstairs to eat something because Eva was planning going to Klaus house to ask questions.
"Morning." Elena said greeting Alaric.
"Good Morning, Ric." Eva greeted Alaric too.
"Thought we had aspirin." Alaric said looking for the aspirin.
"They're in the vitamins." Elena said while she and Eva noticed a nearly-empty bottle of whiskey and an empty glass next to it on the kitchen counter. "You're hungover." Elena conclude looking at him while Eva went to make coffee for them.
"Yeah, sorry about that. It was a bit of a weird night." Alaric explained to the girls.
"I told you you don't have to feel guilty about inviting Meredith over here." Elena said to Alaric about having a relationship.
"Exactly, Ric. Jenna and you broke up because she was afraid of hurting us and you, so she is going to be in the Boarding House to learn the control she needs to have over the blood lust with Damon. And if you two going back together, good and if not, you deserve to be happy just like her. I don't care if you are together or not." Eva said to him with a smile.
"I agree with Eva." Elena said to him. "And just like said yesterday and before Eva, you can bring Meridith here without any problem."
"Oh, I know. And I thank you two for that. But I do feel guilty for whiskey dialing her at two in the a.m." Alaric said to both girls.
"No, you didn't." Elena said with a smile.
"Oh, yes I did." Alaric said to them.
"Oh, was she cool about it?" The younger twin asked him.
"Well, as soon as these aspirin kick in and I remember the conversation, I'll let you know." Alaric said with a smirk while Eva gave him a cup of water. "Thanks." He thanked the oldest of the twins.
"Here." Eva gave her sister some coffee which thanked with a nod and then she went get to some for her when the doorbell rang.
"I will get it." Eva said and went to open the door.

Outside the Gilbert house, Sheriff Forbes was waitin g waiting outside, holding a plastic evidence bag when Eva walked out onto the porch, followed by Alaric and Elena.
"Sheriff Forbes, hi. Is everything okay?" Elena asked worried about her presence.
"This is an unconventional conversation we're about to have. So I hope you'll protect me on it." The Sherriff said to them.
"Of course." Alaric agreed with a nod of his head.
"I assume you three heard that our medical examiner was murdered in the night of the Wickery Bridge fundraiser." The Sheriff explained to the twins and to Alaric.
"Yeah. Brian Walters. Why?" Alaric asked her worried about that they were being accused of something.
"We've been investigating. Someone drove this stake through his heart." The Sheriff said and held up the evidence bag with the stake in it.
"That's one of ours. I mean this is one of a set from your parents' lake house." Alaric said and turned to the girls.
"That's why I'm here. I haven't told anyone but forensics ran it for prints and found only two clean sets." She said and looked at the twins. "Yours."
"What?" Elena and Eva said at the same time.

Damon was walking in the wood when he walked through a meadow and was talking to Elena and Eva on the phone.
"So you and my girl are the prime suspects, huh?" Damos asked with a little smirk.
"She doesn't think that we did it. She's just trying to find out why somebody used one of my family weapons to kill a council member." Elena explained to Damon.
"Well why don't you just ask Ric if his dirty little girlfriend doctor had access to the weapons." The raven haired asked her.
"Damon!" Eva said a little mad at Damon.
"You're on speaker phone, dick." Alaric said pissed at Damon for saying that.
"I'm just sayin' first suspects usually the right one. Don't get so defensive." Damon said to defend himself.
"Brian Walters was killed days ago, alright? I didn't show Meredith this stuff until last night!" He finished telling him about it.
"It wasn't Meredith." Elena stated to Damon defending the doctor.
"But Brian Walters was her ex-boyfriend and Ric saw those two fighting that same night." The raven haired vampire continued insisting on the same thing.
"It's not Meredith! Okay?" Elena stated to Damon.
"Elena and I refuse to believe that your luck with women is that tragic." Eva continued because she and her sister wanted Alaric to be happy and just because Jenna broke up with Alaric didn't mean they didn't want his happiness.
"Who else knows about your secret little slayer stash?" Damon asked them.
"Who doesn't? Got weapons everywhere, here, the school, my loft, your car." Alaric said to the raven haired vampire.
"It's Klaus. It has to be, he's screwing with us." Damon stated to them.
"Why do you think that's him? Could be anyone else doing this murders." Eva asked him and then remembered what he hada said yesterday. "I think it wasn't him. Do you remember what he said about me and Elena? He said we have his and his family protection. Framing us for murder is not protecting." Eva concluded what were her thoughts in this subject.
"What if it was Stefan?" Elena asked Damon remembering that night. "He was crazy that night. And you know he was trying to get underneath Klaus's skin, he was capable of pretty much anything."
"Ahh, make's me nostalgic for the time when Stefan was a bunny snacking pacifist, anyway got to go, you'll know more later." Damon said to them after seeing Elijah.
"Hey, where are you?" Alaric asked him.
"Tea with an old friend." Damon said and hanged up his phone when he saw that Elijah was standing in front of him.

"Elijah. My favorite Original, back from the dead. Clean up nice." Damon said when he came close to the Original vampire.
"You left something in my jacket pocket." Elijah said while pulling out a note.
"Oh, yeah, I did. Dear Elijah, let's get together, plot the destruction of your brother, XOXO." The raven haired vampire said to him.
"Damon." Elijah said with a sigh.
"Was I right to undagger you or are we gonna have a problem?" Damon asked him with hope that he would help them.
"I'm here, let's talk." Elijah stated to the oldest of the Salvatores.
"I'll start with an easy question. Any idea what kind of Klaus-killing weapon could be magically sealed in a mystery coffin?" Damon asked to the Original.

At the Old Lockwood Cellar Cave, Abby, Bonnie and Stefan were walking through the secret cave.
"Slow down!" Abby shouted at Stefan.
"Keep up, we don't have much time." Stefan said to the two women.
"Sorry Stefan, but I didn't have a choice." Bonnie apologized to Stefan about the others coffins.
"It was a choice Bonnie, you made it and now we have to live with it. You told Klaus where the coffins were and he took them. All of them except this one." Stefan said and showed the last coffin that it was inside the cave.
"That's the one that's sealed?" Abby asked Stefan.
"Yep. Fortunately it seems to be the one he cares about most." Stefan said to them.
"Aren't you coming inside?" Abby asked him when Stefan stopped at the entrance.
"Vampires can't get in. Damon had to compel a couple of Lockwood gardeners to bring the coffin in." Stefan explained to the witch.
"This is a bad idea." Abby stated to the youngest Salvatore.
"Look, if you're really the key to opening up that coffin, I think it's a pretty save bet you're on Klaus's hit list. So I suggest you hideout here and figure out a way to open up the damn thing." Stefan said to her because he wanted revenge on Klaus.
"I told you, I don't have any powers." Abby stated to Stefan.
"And I don't believe you. But time's ticking. Won't be long before Klaus calls his hybrids to find that coffin and kill all of us. So dig deep, Abby Bennett. Scrape out whatever magic you have left." Stefan said and left the caves.

When Stefan stepped outside, Elena and Eva were waiting in the front of the entrance of the caves.
"What are you doing here?" Stefan asked to the girls.
"Bonnie told me that you guys would be here. I need to talk to you." Elena said to Stefan while looked at Eva to tell her to go wait in the car for her.
"Well, there's nothing to talk about. I'm just focused on getting this coffin open." Stefan said to Elena while Eva wento to the car,
"Did you kill the medical examiner?" Elena asked him.
"Why would you think I did that?" Stefan asked her with some hurt in his voice.
"Maybe because we don't know what you're capable of anymore." Elena said staring at him hoping that he would tell her the truth.
"Well, believe what you want, Elena." Stefan said to her with a shrug of his shoulders.
"I don't want to believe any of it, Stefan." Elena stated to Stefan.
"But you had to ask me anyway." Stefan said knowing how Elena was.
"Stefan..." Elena started to say.
"Did you ask Damon? Or Eva? If Damon killed anybody lately?" Stefan asked her with some sarcasm on his voice while Elena didn't answered and Stefan left.

At the Mystic Falls Hospital, Meredith meet up with Caroline in the hallway.
"Are you Caroline?" Meredith asked when she meet up with Caroline.
"Yes. Dr. Fell, hi! Elena and Eva told me you helped my dad." Caroline said smiling at the doctor.
"Did. Do you think you can get him to be a little more grateful? He spent half the night threatening to get my medical license revoked for saving his life." Meredith said to the blonde vampire.
"Yeah, my dad is a little set in his ways. My dad spent his whole life hating vampires, so..." The blonde vampire said to Meredith.
"So... he's not psyched about it being vampire blood that healed him. Yeah, he made that clear. I'm sorry. My bedside manner sucks, on no sleep." Meredith said to Caroline with some sarcasm.
"So, can I take him home?" Caroline asked with hope on his voice.
"I signed his discharge papers late last night, just to shut him up." Meredith said to the blonde vampire.
"Oh, I... he didn't call or anything." Caroline said a little surprised.
2That's gotta be hard. When your dad hates the one thing you can't change about yourself. I make it my business, to know who the vampires are in this town. Medical curiosity. I don't blab." Meredith said to Caroline.
"Yeah, we've had our ups and downs." Caroline said to the doctor.
"Tell your dad I said you're welcome." Meredith said and left her alone.
"Thanks." Caroline said and walked to Elena and Eva.

"That was fast." Elena said to Caroline.
"Yeah, he's not here. He was already discharged. And she seems perfectly nice by the way... a little intense, maybe. But... I think it's sweet, you wanna make sure Alaric's not dating a total psycho." Caroline said to the twins while picked up her phone and started to call her father on the phone.
"He's my family. I have to look out for him." Elena said when Caroline suddenly lowered the phone from her ear and had a blank look on her face. "What?" She asked her friend.
"What's wrong, Care?" Eva asked to her blonde vampire friend.
"I hear it." Caroline said using her super hearing.
"Hear what?" Elena asked her friend.
"My dad's phone." Caroline said and walked to the medical supply room, she opened the door and the three girls walked in. They passed numerous shelves and at the back of the room they saw Bill's dead body sitting upright on the floor against a shelf with a knife in his chest. Caroline got on her knees beside him. "Dad! Dad?" Caroline asked in a panic voice.
"Oh my god." Elena said with a shoked voice.
"Calm down." Eva said to Caroline.
"Don't be dead, don't be dead, don't be dead! Oh my god!" Caroline said while pulling out the knife out and dropped it on the floor. "Daddy!" She said worried about him.
"Caroline... He has vampire blood in his system." Elena said while she noticed the blood on the knife.
"What?!" She asked surprised when all of the sudden, Bill woke up.

At Old Lockwood Cellar Cave, Bonnie looked at the signs of Klaus's family.
"Is this the only grimoire you kept?" Bonnie asked her mother.
"It was the only one I needed. So... what is all of this?" Abby asked Bonnie looking around the cave.
"Family history. About a mother, who loved her children so much, she couldn't bear the thought she might lose them. So she turned them into vampires and one of them is Klaus." Bonnie explained to her mother.
"The one you're trying to kill with whatever is in that coffin?" Abby asked and Bonnie nodded her head while looked at the open grimoire on top of the coffin and then she notices a page that was torn out.
"There's nothing in here that's going to help us. I've seen most of these spells. What was this?" Bonnie asked her mother.
"It's the spell I used to seal Mikael in the tomb. I burned it and tried to get it out of my head. Didn't work though. Wait... Do you see this?" Abby said and pointed to to a spell on the page.
"It's a sealing spell. We're trying to open something... Not seal it shut." Bonnie said to her mother.
"No. Right here. On this side. It's a blood knot. It means to bind it you need two generations. A bloodline. Like... two keys to a safety deposit box." Abby explained to her daughter.
"So... unbinding it, would reverse the spell. Unseal it. If we did it together." Bonnie said already understanding what her mother was explaining.

At the Salvatore Boarding House, Damon was in Stefan's room with two shirts in his hands when Stefan entered topless.
"Get dressed. We're going out." Damon stated to his brother.
"Yeah, sorry, not interested." Stefan said while he put on a shirt.
"I didn't ask. Elijah and I have scheduled a very old-fashioned sit-down with you and Klaus. I say go with the black. Makes you look all villainy." Damon explained to his brother about the dinner.
"Klaus won't make a deal, Damon." Stefan stated to Damon.
"He didn't have to. All we're doing is buying a little time to give our wicked witches a chance to pop the top off the coffin." Damon explained to his brother with his eyebrows raised.
"So, that's your, uh, plan? Stall Klaus?" Stefan asked his brother surprised.
"If you didn't go postal on his hybrids, then maybe we'd have some options." Damon said to his brother remembering what he did almost to Elena and Eva.
"So you unleashed an Original to help him out?" Stefan asked his brother with some sarcasm on his voice.
"Undaggering Elijah was smart, Stefan." Damon said to his brother because he knew that Elijah would be pissed at Klaus for what he had done to him. "Are you kidding me? After what Klaus did to him? He's in vengeance mode. It's perfect." Damon said with a smirk.
"There's nothing smart about trusting Elijah, Damon. He screwed us over the last time he promised to help us kill Klaus." Stefan said remembering the sacrifice that killed both Elena and Eva.
"Yeah, the way you've been acting, I trust him about as much as I trust you." Damon stated to his brother.
"Hm. Well I guess that goes both ways, doesn't it?" Stefan said to his brother.
"Oh, yes... this is about my conversation Elena. Just remember, if it wasn't for Klaus, you would have never become such a dick and that talk would never have happened. So get ready and get happy. We're going to negotiate a fake truce and I don't want your attitude screwing it up." Damon stated to his brother and left his room.

At Mystic Falls Hospital, Caroline and Bill were alone in a room in the hospital.
"I compelled the nurse to stay out of this room. You'll be safe here." Caroline said to his father worried about him.
"My wound is completely healed. I need something to eat." Bill said to his daughter.
"Daddy, why don't you just come lay down and just relax?" Caroline asked to her father with a worried face.
"I can't. I'm too wired and my pulse is racing. It's the effect of my body wanting to transition." Bill explained to her.
"Well, maybe Doctor Fell can give you something." Caroline suggested to Bill.
"She's done enough." Bill said when the Gilberts twins walked in.

"I called your mom." Elena said to Caroline.
"Thanks." Caroline thanked to her friend.
"Mr. Forbes, did you see your attacker?" Elena asked Bill.
"I didn't see anything. Tried to sneak out the back exit and someone came up from behind." Bill explained to her.
"Must be the same person." Eva said to the girls.
"Look, we'll figure this out, but in the mean time we need to get you some blood." The blonde vampire said to her father.
"I'm not going to drink any blood." Bill stated to the girls.
"You have to. You died with vampire blood in your system. If you don't feed and finish the transition into a vampire then you'll die." Elena said to Bill.
"And if you don't, Care will lose you." Eva said looking at her friend.
"I understand how it works. And that's what I'm prepared to do. Now get me out of this hospital. I smell blood everywhere." Bill said to them and left the room.

It was already night and at the Gilbert Residence, Alaric was putting his weapons on the table when Elena and Eva walked in.
"What are you doing?" Elena asked him.
"Taking inventory. Did you bring it?" Alaric asked to the girls.
"You mean, did we steal evidence from a crime scene? Yes." Elena asked him and Eva gave him the knife that killed Bill, wrapped in a cloth. He unwrapped it and looked at the knife.
"You're right. It's a match. This is from a crawl space in the foyer. Which means Meredith knew where it was." Alaric said to the girls.
"That doesn't mean she stole it." Elena said to him.
"This is from the loft. These are from the duffel in Damon's car." Alaric said showing the gorls the other stakes.
"Identical to the one that killed Brian Walters." Elena said to Alaric.
"Damon's car was at the Wickery Bridge fundraiser. So was Meredith. And that was the night her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner, was killed." Alaric explained. "The one who called her psycho."
"Well, she was trying to save Bill Forbes. Why would Meredith turn around and try to kill him?" Elena asked to them.
"I don't know what to think either. You know, but... we'd be idiots to ignore all these facts." Alaric said to the girls.
"Yeah, you right." Eva agreed with him.
"So what should we do?" Elena asked him.
"Well... Get this to the police. Then you should probably be with Caroline." Alaric said while picked up the knife.
"I'm sorry, Ric. Please be careful." Elena said while taking the knife and left the house.
"Be careful, Ric." Eva said to him too and then followed her sister.

At Klaus's Mansion, Elijah opened the door and the Salvatore brothers were standing outside waiting to get inside.
"Niklaus, our guests have arrived." Elijah said to his brother.
"Damon. Stefan. Elijah tells me, you seek an audience. Very bold. Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized men, shall we?" Klaus said while they were standing in the dining room. The table was set and there was food on it. Two female servants were standing in the room.
"It's better to indulge him." Elijah said to the Salvatore brothers.
"I didn't come here to eat, Klaus. Fact, I didn't want to come here at all. But I was told I had to cause you would hear us out." Stefan stated to the hybrid.
"Well, we can sit and eat or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides. The choice is yours." Klaus stated to Stefan and everyone sat at the table except Stefan eat and drank.
"Thank you, love." Damon thanked after one of the servants poured some wine on Damon's glass.
"You lost your appetite." Klaus stated with a amused voice.
"Eat the food, Stefan. I thought we agreed that we would leave the grumpy Stefan at home." Damon ordered to his brother.
"That's the spirit. Isn't it nice? Four of us dining together? Such a treat. Is this what you had in mind when you pulled the dagger from my brother?" Klaus asked Damon.
"Well, I know how he felt about you, so I figured the more, the merrier." Damon said while playfully winked at Elijah.
"Well, Elijah and I have had our share of quarrels over the century. But we always make it through." Klaus explained to the Salvatores.
"Kind of like you and Rebekah, right? Where is she, by the way? Last I checked she was still daggered because you were afraid to face her." Stefan said with sarcasm on his voice.
"If you're referring to the fact that Rebekah knows I killed our mother, I've already come clean to Elijah." Klaus informed him about that the fact his brother knew about his mother's death.
"Hey, Stef, remember when you killed dad? Might want to dial down the judgment until dessert." Damon said to his brother remembering when Stefan killed their father.
"We're here to make a deal, Damon. Doesn't mean we need to kiss his ass for seven courses." Stefan stated to his brother.
"I'm just saying we have a long evening ahead of us. Pace yourself." Damon said to his brother with greeted teeth while Klaus and Elijah watched with amused faces.

At the Forbes Residence, Eva, Elena and Caroline were sitting together on the front porch and talking.
"Did you hear back from Tyler yet?" Elena asked her friend.
"No. And I've left messages for him everywhere. So, does Alaric really think that Dr. Fell did it?" Caroline asked her friends.
"He doesn't know what to think." Elena said to Caroline.
"What about you?" The blonde vampire asked to the Gilbert girls.
"I wish the girl Alaric liked wasn't in the middle of all of this. He deserves to be happy. But yeah, she looks guilty. It's why I told your mom." Elena explained to Caroline.
"Jenna broke up with him because she was afraid of hurting him. All because of the bloodlust and told him that he deserved to be happy if it wasn't with her." Eva said to the blonde vampire too.
"My mom's in there sitting with my dad. And I don't think they've been in the same room this long since I was ten years old. Is there any chance that Tyler did it?" Caroline asked her friends.
"What?" Both Elena and Eva asked her with a surprised voice.
"If Klaus was trying to mess with you and he's sired to Klaus. And, I mean, he does everything that he's told." Caroline said to them.
"No... no, I don't think Tyler did it." Elena said to her.
"Klaus can be many things but he said that he wouldn't do anything to hurt us. That we have the protection of his family." Eva said to her.
"I can't just let my father die. You know, I'm... I'm gonna force him to feed." Caroline said to her friends.
"Hey... he doesn't want to, Caroline. The only thing your dad has is his choice." Elena said to Caroline.
"Stefan forced Damon to feed when he wanted to die and still has that grudge against his own brother. Don't do that to your father, Care." Eva said to Caroline and the blonde vampire started to cry.
"I hated him so much for what he did to me. So much. Now all I want to do is save his life." Caroline said with tears on her eyes.
"Of course you do, he's your dad." Elena said to her with a little smile.
"What was the hardest part for you? When you lost your Dad?" Caroline asked her friends.
"Realizing all the things that he wouldn't be there for. The things that... that you just need your Dad for, you know?" Elena said and hugged her friend.
"That he wouldn't be there when I marry, on my graduation and to beat up Tyler for cheating on me…" Eva said and joined the hug.

A few minutes later, Matt showed up and the girls looked at him.
"Hey." Matt said to them.
"Hey." Caroline said getting up and hugging Matt.
"Hey, Matt." Both Gilbert girls said and they joined Matt and Caroline on their hug.

At Klaus's Mansion, the dinner between the Originals and the Salvatores continued until the conversation came to Eva and Elena.
"Stefan. Where is the lovely Elena and Eva tonight?" Elijah asked Stefan.
"I don't know. Ask Damon" Stefan said and Klaus laughed to a surprised Elijah.
"I'm sorry, you've missed so much. Ah, trouble in paradise." Klaus said laughing and happy because that way he could take his girl away from Stefan and Damon and his brother could the same thing with Eva.
"One more word about Elena and Eva and this dinner's over." Stefan stated to them which made Klaus smile and he put a finger to his lips as a promise to keep quiet about Elena and Eva.
"You know what, probably is the best just to keep Elena and Eva in the do-not-discuss pile, please." Damon said to them because he was afraid of that prophecy.
"You're probably right." Klaus agreed with him.
"Yeah." Damon said nodding his head.
"It's just the allure of the Petrova doppelgängers, still so strong. What do you say, brother? Should we tell them about Tatia and Thora?" Klaus asked his brother.
"Now why should we discuss matters long since resolved?" Elijah asked his brother about the two first Petrova doppelgängers.
"Well, given their shared affection for both Elena and Katerina and Eva and Danika, I think our guests might be curious to learn about the originator of the Petrova line." The hybrid said to his brother.
"Well, we're not going anywhere Elijah. Please, do tell us." Damon said and took a sip of wine.
"When our family first settled here, there were two girls named Tatia and Thora. They had an exquisite beauty. Every boy of age desired to be their suitors, even though Tatia had a child by another man. And none loved Tatia more than Niklaus and Thora was already married and expecting a child." Elijah explained to them.
"I would say there was one who loved her at least as much." Klaus said looking at his brother.
"Wait a minute. So you both loved the same girl?" Stefan asked them surprised.
"Our mother was a very powerful witch. She sought to end our feud over Tatia and so she took her. Klaus and I would later learn that it was Tatia and Thora's blood mixed together that we consumed in the wine on the night where our mother performed the spell which turned us into vampires. Tatia wouldn't make a decision between the two of us, so for a time Niklaus and I... grew estranged. Harsh words were traded, we even came to blows, didn't we, brother?" Elijah continued to explain.
"And Thora?" Damon asked them.
"Thora died and lost the child she was expecting. It was her blood mixed with Tatia's that was used to bind Niklaus werewolf side." Elijah finished telling the story.
"The one that was innocent end up death because of your mother." Stefan stated after listening their story.
"But in the end we realized the sacred bond of family." Klaus said to the Salvatores.
"Family above all." Elijah said raising his glass just like Klaus.
"Family above all." Klaus agreed and clank his glass with his brother.

At Old Lockwood Cellar Cave, Abby and Bonnie were standing on either side of the coffin, holding each other's hands on the coffin, and chanting a spell. After a minute, Bonnie pulled her hands from Abby's and looked at her.
"You're not trying! We've been at this for over an hour." Bonnie stated to her mother.
"The spirits are angry with me. For leaving you. Maybe they didn't want me to have my powers again." Abby said to her daughter.
"I had all of those dreams for a reason. The spirits wanted me to find you because your my mom. It's not them, it's you. You won't open yourself up to it. You know Dad never talked about you? And neither did Grams. I had no memories of you. So you know what I use to pretend? That you were dead. It was easier to do that than to wonder why you never came back for me." Bonnie said to Abby.
"There is no way I can tell you how sorry I am for what I did." Abby said and her eyes teared up.
"Yes there is. You can help me." Bonnie said placing her hands over the coffin again, reaching out for Abby's hands. Abby took her hands and they began to recite the spell again. The candles flared up, a deep rumbling could be heard, and after a moment the candles return to normal and everything was quiet. Bonnie went to open the coffin. The lit rattles but it still won't open. "It almost worked. I have to call Damon, tell him that we're getting closer. I'll be right back." Bonnie said to her mother.
"Okay." Abby said and Bonnie left the cavern, while Abby stayed behind. Then she heard a thud behind her and looked at the coffin. Abby started to walk over to it and reached out to open it, but it opened by itself and all the candles flared up and she gasped with what she saw that it was inside the coffin.

At Klaus's Mansion, Damon received a text from Bonnie telling him about the coffin wich was saying Getting closer. Need more time.
"So, why don't we move this evening along and discuss the terms of this proposal?" The older Original said to them.
"That's very simple. Klaus gets his coffin back, in exchange, he and the Original extended family leave Mystic Falls forever. Me, Stefan, Eva and Elena live happily ever after. No grudges." Damon said with a sarcastic smile.
"The deal sounds fair, brother." Elijah said knowing his brother would say no because the twins were part of their family since they became vampires thousands years ago.
"I don't think you understand. Eva and Elena's doppelgänger blood insures that I will always have more hybrids to fight those that oppose me. I will never leave Elena and Eva behind." Klaus getting up and started to pace. "Let's say I do leave the girls here, under your protection, what then? How long before one of you turns them into vampires? Or worse, how long before they die caught between your feuding? You see, each one of you truly believes that you're the one that can protect them and that is simply a delusion. Gentlemen, the worst thing for Elena and Eva Gilbert is... the two of you." Klaus said and Damon gives a weak smile and then looked at his brother.
"I'm gonna get some air." Damon said and got up from the table.
"Let me deal with this." Elijah said while getting up and followed Damon which left his brother and Stefan alone.

"All this talk has made me thirsty." Klaus said and looked at the one of the servants and she walked over to him. "What do you say Stefan? Can I interest you in a little after-dinner drink?" Klaus asked Stefan and bite her neck and drank her blood while Stefan was watching him.

Elijah found Damon in the hall and gave him a signal to follow him into a room where another three coffins where. Elijah went to one and it was the same boy that Klaus had taken the dagger to attack Elijah the night before. Then he took the dagger out and next went to another one and saw it was Rebekah and took the dagger out. The last one was another man with clothes from the 10th century.
"Those are your brothers?" Damon asked to the Original.
"Yes. And this is my sister." Elijah said and the pointed to Rebekah.
"I meet her. Stefan compelled Elena to dagger her in the day of the homecoming. It was the day Klaus killed your father." Damon said to him.
"I will explain everything to her after this dinner for her not to go after Elena. Those two have our protection." Elijah said once again.
"Because of the prophecy?" Damon asked with some sarcasm on his voice.
"Yes, and you are going to let Eva decide what she wants just like Stefan is going to do the same thing because I can guarantee, the moment Kol and my brother know that the twins are here… they are going to do everything to be with them, and that includes to protect them." Elijah explained to Damon.
"Who is the other brother?" Damon asked him.
"In time you will know." Elijah said and watched his siblings starting to wake up from their slumber.

At the Gilbert Residence, Eva, Elena and Matt walked up to the house.
"Thanks for walking us home." Elena said to her friend.
"Are you doing okay? This has to bring up a lot for you two." Matt asked to the girls.
"We've all lost a lot." Elena said to Matt.
"A little but right now, Caroline needs us." Eva said to Matt.
"It's this town, it's messed up. None of us should have to live this way." Matt said while the three walk into the house together. Elena tried to turn on the lights, but they didn't come on.
"That's weird." Elena said to them.
"Electricity must be out." Matt said and they walked into the kitchen, Elena opened a cupboard and grabbed three flashlights, she handed one to Matt and the other to Eva.
"Here." Elena said and then turned her flashlight on and the others did the same to theirs flashlights. "I think we have some candles over there. "Elena walked over to the other side of the kitchen and saw a puddle of blood. "Oh my God!" Elena said grabbing the attention of the others.
"What the hell?" Matt asked himself and Elena moved her flashlight beam into the hallway. They saw bloody hand-prints on the wall. Eva grabbed three knives and passed to Elena and Matt knives.
"Matt?" Eva asked her friend with a worried voice while they followed the bloody footprints out of the kitchen. They went up the stairs, there were more bloody hand-prints on the wall. When Eva got up to the top of the stairs and looked around.
"Ric!" Eva shouted when she saw Alaric lying in a doorway with a knife through his stomach. She gaspes and rushed over to him. Elena and Matt were right behind her. Eva was already with tears on her eyes just like Elena. They couldn't lose Alaric.
"Ric! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" Elena said and went to pull the knife out but Alaric screamed and Matt stopped her.
"No, leave it in! Leave it in! He's lost too much blood. I'm gonna call 911." Matt said and Elena grabbed his face and looked at him while Eva grabbed his hand. "Ric, look at me. Who did this to you?" Elena asked him.
"I don't know." Alaric said with a raspy voice.
"You didn't see anything?" Eva asked Alaric.
"Nothing!" Alaric said with the same raspy voice.
"Oh my God, there's a lot of blood, guys!" Elena said with desasperated voice.
"I know, I know, Elena. I know." Matt said hugging both girls.
"You or Eva have to kill me." Alaric said with the same raspy voice.
"What?" Both girls asked at the same time.
"Elena, you… you have to kill me." Alaric said once again with the same voice while Eva grabbed his hand and saw he's still wearing the ring and showed to her sister.
"Lena… Ric still have his ring." Eva said to her sister still showing her his ring.
"Wait, wait, wait, Matt, hang up, hang up. He's right. If he dies a supernatural death, then he'll come back to life and he'll be healed." Elena explained to Matt.
"But, how do you know who did this is supernatural?" Matt asked his friend.
"That's what he's saying, we don't but... I'm the doppelgänger." Elena said to Matt and took the knife that Eva gave her from the kitchen. "That makes me and my sister supernatural." Elena said to Matt.
"Elena! No, this is messed up!" Matt shouted to them.
"But is the truth, Matt. We are doppelgangers which makes us supernatural." Eva said to Matt with tears on her eyes. "And I can lose another person that I care about and Elena have the same opinion has me."
"He's dying, Matt!" Eva said and grabbed Elena's hand and both of them stabbed Alaric in the chest, killing him.

Still at Klaus's Mansion, Klaus finished feeding on the blonde servant girl and dropped her dead body to the floor.
"Delicious. Aged to perfection." Klaus said with a smirk on his face.
"Well, I guess the only reason you agreed to this evening, Klaus, is to drive a wedge between me and my brother." Stefan said coming to a conclusion.
"Oh no, you're doing that well enough on your own. Because of Elena and Eva, you're gonna lose your brother and you'll only have yourself to blame." Klaus stated the truth to Stefan.

After a few minutes later, Damon and Elijah re-entered the dinning room.
"What do you say, Klaus? It's time for you to put something on the table. We've made our offer, now you counter." Damon stated to the Original Hybrid.
"Okay. I offer Eva and Elena's future happiness. You see, what they need right now is to be rid of you lot. Elena should fall in love with a human, maybe that nice football player, you know the blond one? And we already know that Eva is ready to be a vampire and she is going to be with my brother Kol." Klaus offered to the Salvatores.
"Matt Donovan? Really?" Stefan said to Klaus.
"Eva is mine. Noone is going to be with her besides me." Damon stated to the hybrid.
"Yeah, why not? They'll marry, live a long and fruitful life and pop out the perfect family." Klaus said to them. "Kol is not letting you have Eva and when time comes, he will turn her into a vampire using my blood or one of my brothers." He concluded with a smirk on his lips because he knew that could be created a sire bond between Eva and his brother.
"And continue the Petrova bloodline. Every few hundred years, you'll have a new doppelgänger to drain and never run out of hybrids, right Klaus?" Stefan concluded Klaus plan for them.
"Consider it a small return on my investment in their well-being. See, after you hand me back the coffin, I'll ensure their safety for the rest of their natural life. You know it's what's best for them." Klaus said while getting up and walked towards Stefan. "So, what do you say Stefan, hmm? Do we have a deal?" The hybrid asked and started walking over to Klaus.
"What are you doing?" Damon asked his brother while he watched Klaus holding his hand out to Stefan.
"Nice try, Klaus. But no deal." Stefan said and grabbed his hand. With that Klaus broke Stefan's arm. Then he kicked his leg and broke it as well and he pushed Stefan's hand into the fireplace which started to burn. Damon attempted to rush over to him, but Elijah intercepted him and pushed him against a wall.
"What are you doing?" Damon asked Klaus while he continued to held Stefan's arm in the fire. Stefan arm was badly burnt. "Stop!" Damon shouted at Klaus.
"Now, bring me my coffin before I burn him alive." Klaus ordered to Damon.
"I'll get it." Damon said ready to leave.
"Go with him, brother. You keep him honest. And when you return, I will make good on my promise to you and I will hand over our family." Klaus said to Elijah.

At Forbes Residence, Bill was in Caroline's room when Caroline entered.
"Hey." Bill said when he saw his daughter.
"Hey." Caroline greets her father.
"Your first day at regionals." Bill said and pointed to a trophy on Caroline's dresser.
"Yep. I was afraid to join the squad, but you talked me into it." Caroline said to her father remembering that moment.
"You had nothing to be afraid of. You were so much better than all those other girls that were there." Bill said and sat down slowly on Caroline's bed.
"How are you feeling?" Caroline asked with a worried voice.
"I'm tired." Bill said with a sigh.
"Can I get you anything? Or um... do you want me to call Steven?" Caroline asked her father with a sad voice.
"No, no, we haven't spoken in a while. Just call him when it's over and the dust is settled, would you?" Bill asked to her and she nodded her head agreeing then she knelt in front of her father and took his hands.
"Listen, listen to me. I know that you think you made your choice, but you can change your mind. You know, you are strong enough to handle being a vampire. I mean, you're the strongest person that I know." Caroline said to her father.
"Oh, Caroline, my strength is all in my beliefs. Becoming a vampire is wrong, people aren't supposed to cheat death. It's just what I believe. Please respect that." Bill pleaded with his daughter which made Caroline let go of his hands and stood up and started to cry in front of him.
"God. How can you hate who I am so much?!" Caroline shouted at her father and Bill got up and gently grabbed Caroline's face. Liz approached the doorway and listenned.
"Oh, no, no, no, sweetheart, I don't hate you, I love you. You're strong, you're beautiful, you're good. And even after everything that has happened to you, you are exactly who your mother and I hoped you'd grow up to be." Bill said to her with a sad smile on his face because he knew that his daughter was a strong woman.
"Please don't leave me, Daddy. Please... please don't leave me. Daddy just don't leave me." Caroline pleaded to her father and Bill hugged Caroline and petted her hair.
"Shh. Parents aren't supposed to outlive their children, Caroline. It's okay." Bill said and kissed the top of her head as she continued to cry. Then he looked over at Liz who had tears in her eyes. "This is life. This is what it means to be human." He said to her still hugging her.

At Klaus's Mansion, Klaus was still keeping Stefan's arm in the fire.
"Go ahead and kill me. I know you'll do it when he brings the coffin." Stefan stated to the hybrid and he pulled Stefan out of the fireplace.
"You really have given up, haven't you? Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?" Klaus asked while pushing Stefan. And then Stefan pushed back. Suddenly, Elijah and Damon re-entered the room next to the other female servant who was carrying a tray. "Elijah... why haven't you left?" The hybrid asked his brother.
"Where are you manners, brother? We forgot dessert." Elijah said and toke the cover off the tray that the blonde woman was carrying. It had two silver daggers lie on it.
"What have you done?" Klaus asked Elijah surprised with what his brother had done.
"What have you done? You see, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus. We're doing this on my terms now." Elijah said to his brother when one of siblings entered in the room. "Be ready, because if he knows you killed her, he is going to hate you eve more for what you have done."

"Kol." Klaus said seeing his brother.
"Long time, brother." Kol said to his brother and started to back away when another man with the clothes of the 10th century appeared and grabbed a dagger and stabbed Klaus through the hand. "Finn, don't!" Klaus said and rushed away but ran into his younger sister, Rebekah.

"Rebekah!" He shouted and she stabbed him with a dagger.
"This is for our mother." Rebekah said while pulling the dagger out and Klaus fell back into Kol's arms and Kol restrained him. Elijah looked at Damon and Stefan.
"You are free to go. This is family business." Elijah said and both Salvatores left the mansion.

At the Forbes Residence, Bill's dead body was lying peacefully in Caroline's bed and Caroline was clutching his hand and crying. Liz entered the room with tears in her eyes too. Caroline and Liz looked at each other.

At the Gilbert Residence, Elena and Eva were sitting next to Alaric's body. Matt came up the stairs and kneelt down next to them.
"He's still out?" Matt asked the girls and they nodded.
"Caroline called. Her dad died. Will you stay with us? Until he wakes up?" Elena asked her friend.
"Of course." Matt said and hugged the girls.
"We can't lose any more family." Eva said and started to cry just like Elena. Matt hugged the two girls and comforted them.

At the woods, Damon and Stefan were walking to the Old Lockwood Cellar.
"Ah, you were right about Elijah. Undaggering him was a smart move." Stefan finally agreed with his brother.
"Wow, actual acknowledgement of a job well done. You're going soft, Stefan." Damon said to his brother.
"So, I guess I shouldn't thank you for saving me from Klaus?" The youngest Salvatore asked to his brother.
"Shut up, you don't get to thank me until I pay you back for all those times you've saved me." Damon said to his brother.
"You could have left me there. Klaus would have killed me and you would have had Elena all to yourself." Stefan said to his brother when Damon's phone vibrated. It was Eva and he canceled the call.
"I didn't do it on your account." Damon said to his brother.
"I love her, Damon." Stefan said talking about Elena.
"I love Eva and I love Elena like a sister, so if you love Elena, you have to fight for her or you are going to loser for one of the Originals because of that prophecy." Damon said while looking at him and walked away.

At the Forbes Residence, Liz was on the phone with Elena.
"I looked into it, Elena. Meredith Fell was called into surgery six hours ago. She's been in there ever since." The Sheriff said to Elena.
"She has an alibi?" Elena asked to the Sheriff.
"Iron-tight in an operating room full of witnesses." The Sheriff continued to explain.
"Then who could it be?" Elena wondered out loud.
"I don't know. But the attack on Alaric makes this the third member of the Founders' Council and we just cleared our only suspect." The Sheriff said when Alaric woke up and started coughing. Elena hanged up her phone and rushed over to him and grabbed his othe hand while Eva already had the other.

At the Old Lockwood Cellar Cave, Damon and Stefan entered the cavern.
"Let's hope big witch and little witch got that coffin open." Damon said to his brother.
"Something's gotta make this night worthwhile." Stefan said while continued walking and saw that Bonnie was laying down on the ground, unconscious. "Bonnie? She's still breathing." The younger Salvatore said to Damon.
"Mama's still breathing, I can hear her." Damon said using his vampire hearing.
"Coffin's open." Stefan said to his brother.
"Well, it's not gonna do us any good. Whatever was in it is gone." Damon said to Stefan looking at the coffin.

At Klaus's Mansion, all the Originals were in the living room looking at Klaus.
"I like what you've done with the new place, Nik." Rebekah said to him while throwing a vase into a painting.
"I wanted it to be for all of us. A place we could all call home. A place we could all be a family. None of us would ever have to be alone again." Klaus started to explain to his siblings about his plan. "Where we could be with our soulmates."
"Well you're right, none of us will be." Elijah stated to Klaus.
"You're staying behind." Finn stated to his brother.
"We're leaving you, Nik. Right after I kill Elena, that doppelgänger wench, then you will be alone. Always and forever." Rebekah stated to her brother.
"You are not going to kill Elena or Eva. Elena was compelled to dagger you by one of the Salvatores. For what Damon told me, it was Stefan Salvatore." Elijah told his sister.
"Both girls wanted to be your friends. But for a while you need to hate them." The Original continued to explain to his sister but they were interrupted by Klaus.
"If you run, I will hunt all of you down." Klaus said to his siblings. "And that includes your soulmates." He continued to say.
"Then you'll become everything you hate. Our father." Elijah stated to his brother.
"I'm the hybrid! I can't be killed! I have nothing to fear from any of you." Klaus shouted to his slibings.
"You will when we have that coffin." Elijah stated to his brother.
"She is here, Kol. Just like my soulmate." Klaus said to his brother. "They are twins and they are the doppelgangers. Her name is Eva and mine is Elena." The hybrid said with a smirk and before Kol could say anything they all heard a door open and when they turned around, they saw a woman walking in. Klaus, seeing her, he gasped in shock.

"Mother?" Rebekah asked surprised to see her mother. The woman walked towards Klaus while he was avoiding looking at her.
"Look at me! Do you know why I'm here?" The woman ordered to Klaus.
"You're here to kill me." Klaus said with tears on his eyes.
"Niklaus, you are my son and I am here to forgive you. I want us to be a family again and your soulmates." The woman said to her children which left all the Originals surprised.

Eva catches Damon cheating on her with someone (I was thinking in Danielle) and Eva and Elena's powers awaken when Jeremy dies.
