Monster High/Sonic the Hedgehog

Chapter 11

Sonic, his friends and the monsters follow Tails into Monster High, Tails checked his Emerald Detector, it begins to beep rapidly at a door in which the monsters know what's inside: The Swimming Pool. As they enter the room, Tails checked the pool and said "It's in the pool". As Sonic checked the pool, he called out "I don't see it", "Then it must be in the deep end" said Draculaura. "I'm looking at the deep end but I don't see it" said Big. "That's because the pool at Monster High is the deepest in the world" said Lagoona, showing a map of the pool. The top of the map shows the pool and at the bottom of the deep end shows an underwater tunnel that connects to a big cave.

"Whoa" says Mighty "That is deep", "Lagoona and I once went down there to get back Draculaura's necklace that I accidently drop it" said Frankie "There was a giant squid down there who had the necklace and some other stuff" she continued, "Like my calculator" said Jackson, "And my hairbrush" said Clawdeen. "We made a deal with it to give back everything it took from everyone" said Frankie,"And that's why we're going down there with Sonic to get the Emerald". "What?" said Sonic, surprised, "You can help us by finding the Emerald when we get down at the deep end" said Lagoona, "I can't" said Sonic, nervously. "Don't worry Sonic" said Frankie "I can find an extra diving suit for you", "Thanks for the offer" said Sonic "but I still can't go with you", "Why not?" asked Lagoona. "It's just that" Cream said "Mr. Sonic can't swim", "How come he can't swim?" asked Gil, "Because he is afraid of the water" Shadow blurted out impatiently. "Sonic's is afraid of the water?!" all the monsters said in unison, "Ha ha ha, Sonic's afraid of the water" Heath teased, making Sonic embarrassed, "Is there something wrong about that?" said Amy, clenching her hammer in front of Heath, "No" said Heath nervously. "Don't worry Sonic" said Knuckles, patting Sonic's shoulder "I can take your place and I can use this" he took out a u-shaped device, "What's that?" asked Draculaura, "It's my Air Necklace" said Knuckles "It can help me breathe underwater". "Ok, we're all set now" said Frankie "Wait until Gill, Lagoona and I get ourselves ready", a few minutes later Frankie came out of the ghouls change room wearing a bulky diving suit with flippers connected to the bottom of the boots, Lagoona came out of the same change room wearing a hot pink bathing suit, Gill came out wearing nothing but his swimming trunks, "Where is your glass head?" asked Mighty, "I don't need it when I go swimming" said Gill.

"Now we are all set now" said Frankie, putting her glass helmet on, "Wait" said Tails, "Before you go, I have something to show you", he took out three watches and two necklaces. "Jewelry?" said Cleo, "They may look like jewelry, but they are also communicators and tracking devices, I was inventing them last night before Howleen grabbed me, I made them with a little extra. Lagoona, yours and Gill's are waterproof, Frankie, yours is not only waterproof, it's also shock proof, I will show the others later, Ghoulia, could you set the right frequency of their trackers?" Ghoulia moaned, nod her head and then began tapping on her computer. On her monitor, she can see Frankie, Lagoona and Gill's faces looking at their watches, Ghoulia gives the thumbs up. "Okay, let's go" said Frankie, as she, Lagoona, Gill and Knuckles jumps into the pool. Sonic and the others watched the monitor, they can see Knuckles, Frankie, Lagoona and Gill swimming down, down, down of the deep end.

"This is Tails, can you hear us?" said Tails calling in his communicator "Loud and clear" said Frankie, "Sure do" said Lagoona, "Me too" said Gill. "The deep end is amazing" said Knuckles, then he notice a flower on the ground "Even this flower looks interesting", Frankie and Lagoona suddenly remembered that time, "Wait" said Frankie, pulling Knuckles away, "That's not a flower, look". Knuckles saw the flower was actually attached to an anglerfish, he was surprised to see that. Watching from the monitor, Sonic and the gang snickered softly as they saw Knuckles almost scared stiff. Back at the deep end, Knuckles continued to swim in the deep end with Frankie, Lagoona and Gill and he noticed several sunken ships in front of them. "Are you seeing this, guys?"Knuckles said in his communicator, "Yeah" said Sonic "We didn't know the deep end is really strange", "Yeah" said Tails, "Well, Frankie and Lagoona were the first to go to the deep end" said Draculaura.

"Look" said Gill, he pointed at a cave. "Is that where the Chaos Emerald is?" asked Knuckles, "Yes" said Frankie. As they swam toward the cave, Knuckles saw something that he couldn't believe his eyes. He saw lots of gold and other shiny things. At the surface, Sonic and the others was awe inspired on what they saw on the monitor, "Hey, Knuckles" said Amy' "Could you get me some of those gold necklaces and rings please?". "Amy" said Sonic "Were trying to get the Chaos Emerald remember?", Amy sighed sadly. As Knuckles swim into the cave, he saw what he and the others were looking for: a light blue Chaos Emerald, "We've found it" said Lagoona, "Good work" said Sonic on the communicator "Let's get it" said Frankie. As Knuckle swim to reach it, a giant tentacle came out from a small cavern and slammed next to him, Knuckles swam back to dodge it. Knuckles saw a giant squid coming out of the cavern "Whoa" said Vector watching the monitor "He's huge"

"Don't worry" said Frankie "He won't hurt you", "Are you sure?" asked Knuckles in shocked, "Trust me" Frankie replied. She said to the squid "Hi, our new friend here would like to have that emerald over there, would it be okay?", but the squid growls angrily at them, "What did he say?" asked Knuckles. Frankie was surprised to hear what the squid said. "He said that we attack him" Frankie translated, "Why did he said that, we didn't attack him" asked Lagoona, "Yeah" said Gill "We just got here".

At the surface, Sonic and the others heard everything "What did the squid mean by they attacked him?" said Cleo in a shock, Ghoulia moaned which the other monsters gasped in shocked. Tails checked his translator on what Ghoulia said, it translates "I think I know what the squid means, remember when Eggman scanned you guys?". "So maybe Eggman and Van Hellscream created robot duplicates of the monsters to help them get the Emeralds" said Sonic in surprised. Suddenly the monitor blinked, Sonic, his team and the monsters were shocked to see on what they saw coming towards Frankie, Lagoona, Gil and Knuckles. In the deep, Lagoon and Gil saw what look like them but more metal-like. Lagoona's robot counterpart has dark blue scales, silver curly hair and her freckles are more like vents. On the bottom of the soles of her heels were two propellers. Gil's counterpart has grey metal skin, his mohawk is spiky and instead of eyes, it's replaced with a visor. His jacket's the same but it has the Eggman logo on his sleeves. "They look just like you two, but with enhancements" said Knuckles as pointed at them. "Crikey!" Lagoona said in shock "Who are you?" "I'm MH-03a Metal Lagoona" said the robotic Lagoona, "And I'm MH-03b Metal Gil" said the robotic Gil. "So you two were the ones who attacked this squid and got my friends the blame" said Frankie, "That's right" said Metal Lagoona, "We came for the Chaos Emerald for our masters", "No" said Knuckles "We won't let you take it" "Have it your way", said Metal Lagoona. She snapped her fingers and coming from behind her were a dozen of red piranha like robots, a dozen of pink shark like robots and a dozen on blue piranha like robots. "What are those?" asked Gil, Sonic replied on the communicators "The red and blue piranha robots are Chompers and Chop Chops and the pink shark robots are Jaws, watch out!" "Get them" said Metal Lagoona.

The Chompers, Chop Chops and Jaws swim fast towards them, "Frankie, Lagoona, Gil" Knuckles called out, "Try to get the Emerald, I'll take care of these robots" Frankie, Lagoona and Gil did as they were told. As Knuckles began smashing the robots, he felt a blur passing by him, he turn around and saw Metal Lagoona and Metal Gil swimming fast toward the monsters. At the surface Sonic and the other watched the monitor "Looks like Eggman gave those metal monsters some cool upgrades" said Heath, "In a bad way" said Ray. Back in the water Knuckles yelled "Look out". Frankie stopped and turned around and saw the metal monsters swimming towards her, "Frankie" said Lagoona frightened, "It's okay" said Frankie "I'll take care of them, you and Gil just get the Emerald".

As Metal Lagoona and Metal Gil got closer, Frankie grabbed them and said "Prepare to be shocked", her bolts sparked and then a huge jolt of electricity hit the two metal monsters and hit the remaining robot fishes just as Knuckles dodge it and Lagoona and Gil covered their eyes. After the electricity cooled down, Frankie, Lagoona, Gil, Knuckles and the rest on the surface were surprised to see that the metal monsters were not damaged from the shock. "So electricity has no effect on them" said Sonic, observing the monitor. Suddenly, the metal monsters smiled and sling Frankie away toward Knuckles, he grabbed her just before she's knocked out. Then they noticed the metal monsters were nearing Lagoona and Gil, "Look out" Knuckles called out.

As Lagoona and Gil was about to received the Emerald from the squid for his apology, they noticed there robot counterparts was getting closer, Lagoona took the Emerald, grabbed Gil's hand and said "Come on Gil". Suddenly Metal Lagoona grabbed Lagoona by the leg and said "Going somewhere? Lagoona gasped when she got caught, "Hey, let her go" said Gil, swimming towards Metal Lagoona "Oh yeah" said Metal Gil, blocking him from getting to Lagoona. "Hand over the Emerald" said Metal Lagoona, reaching for it. "Never" replied Lagoona, still clenching on to the Emerald, "Have it your way" said Metal Lagoona. Then suddenly, the squid angrily grabbed both the metal monsters, "Hey" yelled both the metal monsters, "Looks like it payback for you two for attacking the squid" said Knuckles as he and Frankie swam to Lagoona and Gil. Then with enough strength the squid throws both the metal monsters away. "Thanks" said Lagoona, the squid nods. "Come on" said Knuckles "Let's head back to the surface before they come back" the other monsters agreed and swim back.

The metal monsters manage to regain themselves "Come on Metal Gil" said Metal Lagoona "Let get the Emerald!" Just then, a beeping sound came from Metal Lagoona's necklace and an image of Dr. Eggman and Van Hellscream appear in front of the metal monsters. "You two, return to base know" said Dr. Eggman, "But we don't have the Emerald" replied Metal Lagoona. "We know that" said Van Hellscream "We have other plans for you". "But we can still do it" said Metal Gil "Don't antagonize us!" yelled Eggman, "Yes masters" said both the metal monsters and they turn around and leave.

Back at the Monster High pool surface, Lagoona showed everyone the emerald that she, Frankie, Gil and Knuckles found. "Good work" said Sonic, giving a thumbs up, "Thanks" replied Lagoona. Frankie was sitting down on the pool bench, wearing her blue and yellow striped/black and yellow lightning-bolt one-piece swimsuit with a plaid wrap around her waist while wearing the lower part of the diving suit. "You were amazing" said Jackson, offering a towel "Thank you" said Frankie. "We all did good" said Gil, "Yeah" said Knuckles "But I'm worried about those metal monsters may return for the Emeralds", "Me too" said Sonic "But right now, we have to find the rest of them"
