Husk

I just watched everybody else tripping over themselves getting ready for Charlie's old man. This morning, Charlie was freaking out about her hotel, per usual. She wanted to get a meeting with Heaven, so she needed her dad's help. He didn't agree, so she invited him over to the hotel to check it out.

Anyhow, Starscream finally came back from whatever the hell he was doing. He looked around, confused at the panic. For some reason, his boot and hand were crusted with charred shit.

He came up to me and asked, "Husk? What's going on?"

I sighed as I explained, "Charlie's dad is coming to the hotel, so all these fuckers are tripping over themselves trying to get ready."

"Oh, I see..." Starscream trailed off for a moment, then seemed to remember something. "Wait, didn't Charlie say her father was, well, bad?"

"i don't know. She hardly even talks about him. Whenever she does it's when she's moping," I retorted.

Starscream sighed and shook his head. "Well, if he's anything like my father was, I hate him already."

I huffed and walked off as Starscream flew up to help his Seekers fix the decorations. So he had daddy issues too, huh? Well, guess he and Charlie are like two royal peas in a pod, if one was a bubbly goody two-shoes and the other was a violent Overlord.

Things were finally calming down as they had almost finished. Pastries were baked, decor was put up, and a sign was painted. Angel Dust was in charge of the sign, and he managed to weasel in a sex joke. Despite him still having his same sense of humor, after our little loser talk, Angel toned it down a bit.

Anyhow, once they finished, we waited for the guy to show up. After a bit, there was a knock on the door, and Charlie opened it, exclaiming, "Alright everyone! Showtime!"

"Charlie!" Lucifer exclaimed, charging in and giving Charlie a bear hug. He was blonde and pale like her, but was really fuckin' short.

He happily gushed, "Oh, it's so good to see you!"

Charlie, squished in the hug, mumbled, "It's, uh, good to see you too, dad."

When he finally let her out of that bear hug, Charlie had to take a second to catch her breath. Then, she introduced, "Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel!" as she gave a nervous grin.

Lucifer nodded before gushing over Keekee, then scratching Razzle and Dazzle's chins. He cooed, "Oh look how much you haven't grow! Still fun sized! Have you been taking care of my widdle gorl? You better be." And yes, he did say "widdle gorl."

He then looked up to the hotel and started stammering as he took a look around, but he shouted, "Eugh! What in the unholy hell is that?!" when he saw the bar.

At that point, Alastor butted in, and I tuned him out. I faintly heard Alastor and Lucifer insulting each other before Charlie stepped in. She turned Lucifer's attention to the parlor and gushed about it. Alastor butted in again and put a hand on Charlie's shoulder while she thanked him for his help. He then showered her with compliments. I guess Lucifer got the idea that they were dating, because he turned her away from Al while asking her about the rest of the people.

Charlie went and brought Vaggie up and introduced her as her girlfriend. Lucifer sighed a huge sigh of relief and hugged Vaggie while stumbling over his words. However, he called her "Maggie" for some reason. Guess he confused her name.

She then showed him everyone else. "Here's Sir Pentious, Angel Dust, Baxter, and the Hell Seekers, Lucia, Stinger, Dainty, Tamo, and Sumi, our guests!" Pentious stood up and saluted while shouting, "Your Majesty!" before falling over. Angel greeted, "Hey there, short king~" while sipping from his glass. Baxter gave a wave before going back to whatever he was doing. The Seekers all recited their greetings, Stinger having a slight drunken slur.

She then turned to her employees. "This is Husk, our Bartender, Niffty, our housekeeper, and-"

Niffty interrupted her by scurrying to Lucifer and trying to flirt, climbing on his coat. Lucia had to grab Niffty to pull her off of him with how clingy she was being.

Lucifer, after recovering from Niffty, then asked, "Okay... and who was the last person you were going to introduce?"

Charlie smiled as she brought Starscream over. "This is Starscream, head of security, leader of the Hell Seekers, and my personal bodyguard and advisor!" While she said that, Lucifer slightly muttered, "Why does that name sound familiar...?"

Starscream had a formal expression on as he raised his hand for a handshake. However, instead of accepting the handshake, Lucifer's eyes widened as he looked at Starscream. He gave the Seeker a once-over before gasping.

Lucifer shouted, "Hey, I know you!" Starscream, thoroughly confused, asked, "Wait, what do you mean?"

Lucifer exclaimed, "You're the alien I saw in the Garden of Eden!"
