It was the first school morning for Lincoln at Grimwood's and he was a little bit nervous as well as excited for what could happen; who knows what type of lessons that a school for monsters taught. He was mentally preparing himself as he eat his breakfast with the girls, Shaggy and Scooby and was finishing up when he heard a knock on the door.

Ms Grimwood went to answer it as the girls got up to show Lincoln to their first classroom; they got to the door and saw Ms Grimwood talk to this man in a blue military uniform with a moustache and had given her a care package. "Lincoln; this is Colonel Calloway who runs the academy next door, he was just wishing us all good luck on this new school year. Colonel; this is Lincoln our first human male student at the school." Ms Grimwood's introduced as Colonel Calloway looked down at Lincoln.

"Ah yes; Lincoln Loud from Royal Woods, Michigan. You have quite a file along with your family. I will be keeping an eye on you when you are out and about!" Colonel Calloway warned as he put his two fingers to his eyes and aimed it at Lincoln who then gulped.

"That was weird; what was the Colonel talking about?" Winnie questioned as the girls were perplexed and Lincoln made a fake cough.

"Let's just say that my sisters and I... We tend to get into trouble..." Lincoln said simply as they reached their next classroom.

The lessons started and Lincoln was surprised that while the learning style was unconventional with scary looking aids and ways of explaining the lessons, they did see to be what you expected to learn from a normal school. Though they all had to stay behind a far line when they were dealing with potions in biology.

Plus Shaggy and Scooby were quite good in showing them how to run and move about; since they would have experience running about.

Soon it was Friday after school and Lincoln decided to visit the arcade and was impressing the other kids there as he was getting the high score at a popular game cabinet. "So Lincoln; is it? What is it like being at the ghoul school?" asked one of the kids and Lincoln shook his head annoyed.

"Actually really cool; I am actually getting used to it all pretty well." Lincoln said with a smile and thinking back to his friends in Royal Woods; he was sure that they were having an easier time in middle school...

"Worst week of my life..." Liam groaned as the friend group were lying on the coach at Lincoln's house later that day feeling all puffed out from their first week in middle school.

"How is it that after Lincoln left; that you all are actually spending more time here?" Lola had questioned as Lynn Jr was nearby.

"I have been inviting them over; be like Stinkcoln never left not that I am missing him too much..." Lynn Jr said defiantly with her arms folded.

"Don't worry Lynn as I think we all miss him; just like on the weekend we don't know what to do without him being our leader! His plans didn't always turn out well but it seems that he is still the best out of them for coming up with plans." Stella told Lynn who she could clearly see was trying hide how much she was missing her brother.

"Why don't you go to Leni's room since she is on video chat with Lincoln?" Luna suggested and the friend group followed her to Leni's room.

"Hi everyone; I am having a good time here and the girls are really making me feel welcome! How are you getting on at middle school?" Lincoln told them through the screen wearing his new Hex Girls jumper.

The friend group sighed and Clyde said "Not too well so far; a bit hard without you coming up with plans..." Clyde admitted and Lincoln's face fell saying that he was sorry to hear about that but was sure that they would be just fine when given time.

"Oh Lincoln; where did you get that rocking jumper?" Luna asked noticing Lincoln's jumper.

"Oh the girls took me clothes shopping on the weekend and got me this; I think it looks cool on me..." Lincoln said and Leni got up open mouthed; looking like the thought of Lincoln being far away and having other girls take him clothes shopping just broke her heart. "I hope to see you all in person soon. I miss you all." Lincoln told them and they replied that they did too.

"Doesn't seem too long ago that you became my first friend here and now you are gone; the feeling that my best friend is far away is what I feel. It has to be just that..." Stella thought in her head having a strange feeling.

Later still Lincoln and Sibella were walking back inside the school after deciding to have a 1 on 1 basketball game together; while Elsa had brought an electric chair from her room to plug in the TV room as there was a faulty socket in her room. "Trust me Sibella; I am not so good at sports, you see me with my sister Lynn and how I was like during gym at my old school then you will see." Lincoln told Sibella in response to her stating that he must have been a sports star; it was just that thanks to experience in his home that he was able to run so far and so well.

"Well in my view you are fangtastic so you shouldn't put yourself down. I bet you had all sorts of girls interested in you in your town." Sibella and Lincoln shook his head and that got Sibella's interest.

"How about a game of hide and go shriek?" Phantasma asked popping up through a wall and Lincoln shook his head.

"Maybe later; I just need to sit down..." Lincoln going to Elsa's chair to sat down which got her attention and yelled at him 'no', Tanis used her bandage wrap to tangle Lincoln's foot and pull him towards the couch with the girls looking relieved.

"I am probably glad that whatever just happened, did happen." Lincoln muttered as he relaxed.
