Running. The ache in her feet as she runs from place to place. City to city. That is all she knows. All she lives for. Her brain is too fast for her eyes to comprehend sometimes. So she closes her eyes and lets her feet be her guide.

The fresh air of a forest, or the smell of car fumes in a big city. Her nose picks up every scent and she will remember it forever. Her mouth that can taste the little mistakes one makes, that is something that can never leave her mind. Her body, functions faster than that of someone else, due to her never ending running.

And of course, her brain, that is too full of information to make the small things clear. If she had a choice, she would have never wanted her brain to be like this. No emotion. Locked away behind a giant iron door, that can never be opened with her will. Her mind, remembering everything she ever did. Storing it away for when she rests to take her back to the past where she would rather never be again.

Running. Running for years. Running for years since she was just a child. The first time she ran, was from her parents when she was just reaching the age of 10. They hated her. They despised her for being born. Throwing insult after insult. Sometimes even physical. Just for how her mind was. Just for how she was born with an IQ of over 200.

So, she ran. Ran away from the people who brought her to this world. But who did not bring her up in this world. The story of a missing child did not go unnoticed by people. Governments were still after her. Even now, at the age of 17.

Which was why she needed to run, run so much. It sometimes made her hate her life, but she did not think she could take her own life. It seemed wrong to her, even without her feeling fear or a lot of emotions.

With the help of people who had no idea who she was, she was able to find places to stay and part time jobs. It helped her get some money and she had even stored it at a bank under a false name. The part time jobs were mostly at café's and in the kitchen, since her people skills were non existing.

After years of running, she had tried her best to forget her name. Of course, with a photographic memory, it was difficult. But she did her best to store the name in the mind palace of her childhood, which she did not open much. Instead, she gave herself a name that meant: shadow, shade, gloom.

She called herself Zilla.

Over the years, she had made connections. Connections with hackers, smart people. Some even from the government, although they were still after her, so she kept that group small. With their help, she erased her existence. She wouldn't exactly call them her friends. More like people she worked with and kept in line with giving them money. Enough to keep their mouths shut. Plus, some threats always worked.

And then, she got a tip from one of her henchmen. She was being looked into. But not by someone she had expected. Scorpion. Of course she knew about them. They were quite popular these past few years. Around the time she had run away, they had started to become active and she had followed their cases.

She was…intrigued.

She had even heard about the teammates falling in love and marrying each other. Which was a weird concept to her. Nevertheless, she figured she could mess with them a little bit and then erase herself like usual. That took a different turn, when she realized that they were getting very close to actually finding her. There were a few close calls.

She had to admit, they were persistent.

Now, she wasn't one to give up, but the constant back and forth and the close calls, made her realize, that she might be better off with Scorpion. She had always thought how it would be with a team like that. They were all smart and even though they made emotional progress, they were still geniuses. This made her think more.

Should she let them find her? Should she force them to let her join? She was almost sure they wouldn't just let her join the team like that. So the better option was to use a bit of force. Maybe more threats. That would probably do the trick.

Alright. Zilla, has decided.
