This series is gonna be a main focus guys, so keep an eye out for this stories updates too if your interested, also a buddy of mine suggested writing in little blooper sections at the end for scenes and jokes that I feel like wouldn't work in the chapters situations, so I hope you enjoy the little bloopers at the end.
Episode 7: Girls and their Mechs
It was another day in Xernia City, XL is seen walking around in one of the neighborhood areas of the city, he was currently talking on his phone, which had the same flame and tails symbol that's on his shirt was on the phone case.
"So Tails, explain again, why do you want to run tests on me again?" XL asked Tails on the phone.
"I want to see which of your Alien Forms can handle certain situations. You've been running on instincts for over a month and I think some more precise training can help you" Tails said.
"Tails I have been training with my forms all the time, I'm sure I can handle anything that comes my way" XL said as he kept walking, passing by an uphill road.
On Top of the uphill was a Mobian skunk girl, she looked to be the age of 11 or 12, but the look in her blue eyes behing her glasses said otherwise, she was wearing a cyan T-shirt with blue pants, her hair was black and white like her fur with a large white bang over her face, covering the left side of her face, her tail was also quite large, bigger than a normal Mobian skunk's tail, she was also wearing pads for her elbows, knees and a bike helmet on her head, on her feet she was wearing a pair of roller skates, only they were modified, on the heels of the skates were 2 miniature rockets, they looked expertly made, not like a firework rocket or a homemade one, like they were part of a machine.
"Alright, Test #7 of the Rocket Skates, the devices you can use to escape any dangers quickly" She said to herself as she took a deep breathe, "Here goes nothing" she said as he pressed 2 buttons on her skates, the rockets sputtered for a few seconds but then stopped, making the girl confused.
"Hmm, maybe I should've added more fuel to the rocke-" before she could finish, the rocks burst with life, pushing the girl down the hill, making her scream in surprise and fright, the rockets had much more power than she expected.
XL was walking by before he heard the girls scream, "I just want to be sure you can handle anything, what happens if you get the wrong aliens for a fight or emergency that requires a specific one, or-" Tails went on before XL interrupted, "I'm sorry Tails, I'm gonna have to call you back" he said as he hung up the phone and turned in time just to see the skunk girl speed past, no control over her rocket skates.
XL was about to dial in an alien, only to realise he was out in the open with no hiding places, he groans, "Damn it" XL said before he saw a scooter left on the side of the road, thinking quick, he grabs it and starts riding it to catch up to the girl, "Hang on! I'm coming!" he called out to her as he gave chase.
The girl screamed as she did her best to get out of anyone's way, any people that saw her would get away quickly to avoid being run over by her, while also moving again when XL would ride past them.
"Ugh I can't keep up! But I can't go alien" XL said to himself before realising he still has his normal powers, seeing his current speed, people might not see his powers, "Here goes nothing" XL said before he puts a hand behind him and lets out a burst of flames, making him go faster, his new increased speed was letting him get close to the girl.
He was finally close enough that he grabbed her by her arm, "I got ya!" XL said, only to realise the rocket skates were still on, propelling him with her out of control, "What are those things?!" he yelled out.
"My rocket skates! I designed them to be fast to get anywhere fast, but they are malfunctioning!" the girl yelled back.
"Cant you turn them off?!" XL asked.
"I can't! The rockets just keep going!" The girl yelled, XL looked to the rockets on the skates and noticed they were glowing with smoke emanating from them.
"I think we got another problem! Those things are gonna blow!" XL said as the girl saw this and panicked more, XL then reached to the skates and saw the straps then kept the skates on her feet, "Time to put an end to this joy ride!" he grabbed the straps and ripped them off, before pulling the skates off the girl and proceeding to throw them into the air as they flew into the sky.

The scene shows a large group, consisting of many Mobians and humans, standing on a Hill watching the sunset, one of the mobians is a Red 2 tailed Kitsue/Fox Hybrid, named XL, as he looks at the device on his left wrist, the Xenotrix.

XL turns to the group as the group nod at him as he then smiles as they start to run down the hill towards an army of Robots and monsters, ready for a battle as he and 2 other mobians are suddenly in some sort of armoured costumes while the humans changed forms completely or started to use powers with the other Mobians.

XL changes into Inferno as he flies up, blasting fireballs at the monsters and robots below, one of the humans, Joshua Olivo, transforms into a Tyrannosaurus Rex and attacks a bunch of robots while another Human, Casey Animal, with her own type of Xenotrix, transforms into a monstrous anthropomorphic Lizard as she tears through the robots and monsters, Kix used his Nanites to transform his fists into 2 giant mechanical fists as he punches at some monsters, Diamond was flying in the air with her Light wings, firing light arrows from her heartbreaker bow at the robots and monsters that can fly

The scene changes to show the villains, showing from the less strong to the most powerful, the camera shows 6 rows, some Egg pawns and droids on the bottom row, Monsters, Cyborgs and Roboticised Mobians on the 2nd row as they ready their weapons, the 3rd row has some big Badniks with different types of designs, mostly resembling animals or military vehicles and some Hulk sized drones with cannons for arms

The 4th row shows all types of dangerous creatures, Spike the Gremlin ejects his bone spikes at the camera, Carnage changes his claw into a axe blade, a mutant serpent/humanoid like creature with a technological helmet and many other dangerous creatures, on the 5th row, it shows creatures in some agent like outfits, helmets covering their faces, each of the Agents having their own weapons, Six Six, Seven Seven and Eight Eight ready their weapons towards the camera, Metal Sonic summons electrical energy around him as silhouettes of more mecha Mobians stand behind him with different colours showing what mobian there designs they are based off, and the final row shows Vilgax in crimson armor with a tattered cape, ready for a fight as the pistons on his arms pump into his arms as his arms grow in muscle strength and endurance and Empress Robotnik in a giant mech full of weapons and equipped with strong armor, but in the background of the 6 rows shows a giant silhouette of a creature with glowing yellow eyes as the eyes make the whole screen flash in a yellow light.

The scene then changes to XL and his brother and cousin surrounded by monsters and robots until the Freedom Fighters help out, Sonic, Tails, Sally and Amy attacking the robots while Knuckles, Bunnie Rabbot, Shadow and Rouge go against the Monsters as they proceed to attack, XL and his group them start helping out each of the team mates beat the enemies.

The fight continues as Joshua was about to be attacked from behind by a Badnik until a purple blast had struck at, Josh saw this as he sees Twilight and the rest of the Rainbooms there to help, each using their powers against the foes, Josh and Twilight then both transform into dinos as they charge towards the camera.

XL then sees Vilgax and Empress Robotnik charging towards him as he smirks, he activates the Xenotrix as he then charges towards the 2 villains as he then transforms into Gigantosaur, ready for the fight.

Each of the teams members pose for the camera, XL stands in centre as 12 silhouettes of his alien forms appear counting down from 12 to 1, HydroBlast with #12, Insectoid at #11, Ultra-Tech at #10, SparkPlug at #9, Velocifaster at #8, FireFly at 7#, Steel-Jaws at #6, Sludge at #5, Phantom at #4, Thunder Fist at #3, Inferno at #2 and Dragonox at #1 as then XL shoots a stream of flames at the camera as then it shows he burns a piece of metal that shows the title as a flash occurs as the title is now in colour of red as it reads "XL12"

XL stopped the scooter as he held the skunk girl in his arms, a couple seconds later and the flying rocket skates blew up in the air.
"Man, that was close" XL said as he sighed in relief, he then put the girl down as she looked up to him, she was just below his shoulders.
"Thanks for the save there, Mr. Hero" She said, now that there was no rush, XL noticed her voice sounded older than how she looked.
"Y-Yeah, no problem" XL said, "So, how does a little girl like you have access to rockets like those?" XL asked, which made the girl pout.
"Well first, I'm not a little girl, I'm 17" she said, shocking XL, "Second, I had access because I built them…from some scrap metal and left over robot parts found around the city" she said.
"W-Wait, your 17?" XL asked.
"Yeah, crazy right? I'm Kida by the way, Kida Starling" Kida said.
"Xander Flame, but I go by XL" XL introduced himself before he asked, "So I hope you don't mind me asking but…" he said before Kida chuckled.
"You wanna know why I'm so young looking right?" she asked, making XL nod, "Thought so, well if you come along with me back to my dorm I'll tell ya along the way" she said.
"Your dorm?" XL asked.
"Yeah I go to the collage here in the city" Kida said.
"Well, sure, lead the way" XL said as they started walking, but XL had to make a quick stop to return the scooter where he found it.
"So, you're 17 and yet you look 10 or 11, how?" XL asked as they walked.
"Well, I was born with Syndrome X, it's a disease that prevents my body from growing and developing from a certain age, it's not curable, but I've learned to live with it" Kida explained, XL was very surprised by this, he had no idea such a disease existed.
"O-Oh, I'm sorry" XL said.
"Don't be, I'm used to it now, though I would like it if, just somehow, I could have a normal body like everyone else, but I know that can't happen, the best doctors my family can find all said the same thing, its incurable so you have to live with it" Kida said.
XL could tell from her voice that even though she says it's ok, it wasn't to her, he could see she wanted to look normal for her age, he would too if he was in the same situation as her.
Soon the two found themselves at a collage in Xernia City, XL recognised the Collage as he knew some people in his own family tree went there, as they approached the front gates, Kida pulled out a card from her pocket and placed it near a scanner by the collages front gate attached to a wall that surrounded the grounds.
"We use the cards as a security precaution" Kida said as they went through the gate, XL looked around, seeing the many students hanging around on the grassy areas on blankets or some guys playing sports.
"Wow, this place seems lively" XL said.
"It is, but I like it, keeps things from being boring if you know what I mean" Kida said as they passed some kids who greeted Kida, soon the pair arrived at a small apartment building as they went inside, XL noticed the building looked to be like a hotel, private rooms and all, seems like the students have more than just a bedroom in their dorms here.
They made it to Kida's area as she opened the door, inside XL saw the dorm outfitted with a small kitchen, living room area and a door leading to what he could guess was the bedroom, in the living area was a sofa where another person was.
On the sofa was a human girl about 17, she had blonde hair that reached down her back and orange eyes, her current attire was an orange shirt with a camo sleeveless jacket over and green shorts and white stocking socks.
"Hey Casey, I'm back and I brought a new friend" Kida said, XL saw Casey and couldn't help but blush, her current attire was attractive to him but he needed to be nice and not get in trouble as he shook off the blush from his face.
Casey looked over and was surprised to see someone new in their dorm, "Hey there stranger, names Cassandra Animal, but I go by Casey for short" she said as she got up from the couch and walked over, "So how do you know my friend here?" she asked.
"W-Well, I kinda saved her from some rocket skates she was wearing" XL answered her, to which Casey looked to Kida with an amused look.
"I told you those rockets you built needed work" Casey said as Kida pouted, "Yeah yeah I know, but I thought they were ready this time" Kida said as she walked to the kitchen.
"Yeah well good luck with finding rockets like those again" Casey said as Kida groaned while checking their fridge.
"Gosh your right, It took me a whole week to even get those, let alone sneak them onto campus" Kida said as she pulled out a soda can from the fridge.
"Yeah well anyway, thanks for saving my roomie" Casey said, "Mind introducing yourself?" Casey asked XL.
"O-Oh, right, names Xander Luke Flame, but I go by XL for shot" XL said.
"Nice to meet ya XL" Casdey said before noticing XL's second tail, "Whoa, you have an extra tail, I thought that Tails guy from the Freedom Fighters was the only fox with 2 tails" Casey said.
"Oh, well yeah, I'm not exactly a normal fox" XL said, not wanting to reveal too much than needed.
"Well alright, but mind if I ask ya some questions tho? I'm kinda into studying animals and such" Casey said with interest.
"She means she wants to know what makes ya tick, she's into Mobians like that" Kida said from the kitchen making Casey flustered, "Don't say it like that Kida!" Casey yelled.
"Wait what?" XL asked as Casey sighed.
"I'm just, studying into Mobians and the differences between a Mobian and a normal animal, for instance, I learned that while some Mobian birds arms are their wings, others actually have wings AND arms, the wings relocate to the back rather than the arms replacing the wings, other flying animals like Bats however always have their wings relocate to their backs and have arms instead, there has never been any recorded evidence of a Mobian bat with the wings as arms instead" Casey explained.
"Huh, thats actually pretty cool, I didn't even know that" XL said, he never knew Mobian differences mattered that much in a daily life.
"Yeah well, I make it my business to know, I want to learn all I can about Mobians and animals, back home well, my parents like animals, just not the Mobians so much" Casey said which made XL curious.
"What do you mean by that?" XL asked.
"Well, my parents liked it that I was learning about animals, but they don't like, or trust Mobians, all I ever heard from them was that Mobians are dangerous and unnatural, I never believed them and it frustrated me that they never once showed respect for any Mobians in their lifes" Casey explained, "So when I looked for a collage, I came here and moved here, away from my parents so they can't bring their negativity towards the Mobians here".
XL was shocked but not really surprised, he had occasionally dealt with humans who hated Mobians for stupid reasons, he never understood why, perhaps just some stupid rumors and such, XL never liked people like them that just hated Mobians for no real reason.
"Yeah well when she moved here, she refused almost every human who needed a roommate, then she met me and here we are" Kida said, sipping from the soda can while also coming from their bedroom, she had snuck into their while Casey was talking.
"Wow, must've been some crazy times then" XL said before he saw Kida carrying a backpack filled with robotic parts, "Whats all that for?" XL asked.
"Oh, I'm just gonna head to my private workshop" Kida said.
"Private Workshop?" XL asked.
"Oh on your way back can you get groceries, we're running low and its your turn for shopping" Casey said as Kida groaned.
"Ugh fine!" Kida said.
"Hey uh, do you think I can see this workshop of yours?" XL asked.
Kida thought about it before smiling, "Sure, I haven't had anyone besides Casey seen it anyways" Kida said as XL followed her out, leaving Casey to herself as she went to the bedroom.
Meanwhile in Knothole, Tails was working in his Workshop as he typed away at his computer, soon Sonic had ran into the place as then Kix appeared too, landing outside the workshop with his Storm Stomper builds before absorbing the machinery back into him.
"Your getting faster Kix, keep it up" Sonic said.
"He's right, using your giant boot builds have increased your normal speed, making it faster to run, however I wouldn't recommend them for stealth missions, I felt your stomps from here" Tails commented as Kix chuckled.
"Noted, so where is XL? I thought you were gonna get him to train with us?" Kix asked the two tailed fox.
"I did, but he said he didn't need it before going to do something and hanged up" Tails said, which made Kix curious, he knew XL wouldn't hang up on a call on purpose without reason.
"I better go check up on him" Kix said as he runs out before his created his Storm Flyers and flies out of Knothole.
"He coulda just ran" Sonic suggested.
With XL and Kida, both of them were heading to an abandoned Warehouse, XL saw the warehouse had no real owner and was left to crumble, but he also noticed small repairs he thought Kida had done, some holes on the walls filled with scrap metal and smashed windows had been blocked off with wood.
"What is this place?" XL asked as Kida opened the metal sliding door of the warehouse.
"Welcome to my Workshop XL!" Kida announced as they walked in, XL was fairly surprised as he saw tons of machines, gadgets, tons of machinery around that has been jury rigged and fixed by Kida, he had never seen so much technology in one place before and in the center of the warehouse is what shocked XL the most.
Standing at 12ft tall was a mech, it looked very impressive, it also looked to be made of several scraps of metal and gadgets, he also saw it had a large tail, which looked like a skunks tail like Kida's, looking like a large diggers shovel scoop at the tails end with a laser cannon attached too, the cockpit was in the center of the mech as it's body looked a bit like a skunks head with a glass screen for the cockpits view point, the legs were double jointed and the feet looked similar to paws, the hands of the mech were 4 clawed hands with fairly big arms.
XL was in awe at the large mech as Kida had put her bag on a nearby sofa that was next to a large workbench with several lamps over it.
"D-Did you build this Kida?!" XL asked the skunk girl as she looked to her mech with a smile.
"Yep, my first ever big project, Scrap here was my first ever idea when I got this place" Kida said with a smile as she walked over to the massive Mech, "I would have made her bigger, but I didn't have enough parts for the frame at the time, so this is as big as she gets, all the armor and attachments I found later on, I even managed to get her a power source not to long ago" Kida said as she climbed onto the back using the tail as steps for the cockpit, at the back of the mech was the entrance for it before opening a panel on the floor of the cockpit, showing a power core that looked like a orb with holes and glowing blue lights.
XL looked through the cockpit window in awe, "Wow, where did you find that?" he asked.
"I managed to find it during one of the Robot attacks in the city, one of those giant robots had this power core and I managed to get it before the clean up crews came around, so I started to kinda, sorta stick around after the attacks to nab whatever parts and power sources I could find from the wrecks" Kida said before closing the hatch as she exited her mech.
"I have more mech's here too, check it out" she said as she went to some kind of podium with a control panel, she pressed some buttons before parts of the floor further in the warehouse opened up, rising from the floor was more mechs, some were still being built but there was also two more complete, their designs however caused XL to blush, and for good reason.
The second complete mech's design was very feminine, looking like a giant robot woman with a big bust and big calves, its left arm was not there and instead was a massive drill attachment, its head had a large black screen around it, its colours were of silver and hot rod red.
The second one had an even bigger bust than the previous one and had big thighs, the screen for the head was located where the eyes would be as its colours were blue and navy.
XL looked to Kida with a blush, "Um, why do those ones have uh, feminine looks?" he asked nervously.
Kida noticed and blushed herself, "W-Well, I-I-I made them that way on purpose, 100% with intentions logical" she said, "B-Breaking Point, the one with the drill, has the large calves to steady herself when using the drill and the chest is totally dense armor" she said, "Now Giantess over there, she is built for, Heavy lifting, she is very strong, even though her arms don't look like it, her legs however are very powerful and can lock anything into place with no movement whatsoever" Kida said with a nervous look and blush.
XL could see the reasoning for that but still blushed at the designs and blushed even more as he saw the crotches of the mechs, seeing they had the female crotch area exposed, "A-And those?" he nervously asked as Kida saw what he meant and blushed even further.
"Th-Those?! U-um, they are the entrances for their Power cores, Y-Yeah, th-they just arent closed off yet, ehehehe" she nervously chuckled.
After the awkward silence left after that discussions, XL had decided to look around more, away from the very feminine mechs to avoid any more questions.
He soon saw blue prints put up on a pin board and looked at them, seeing the designs were for gloves with grapple hooks, the rocket skates that failed earlier on, even seeing a design for an exosuit, which was designed to look like Kida with an older body, XL was starting to think Kida really desired to have a normal body.
"Hey Kida, could I ask you something?" XL asked.
"Sure" Kida said as she worked on another invention with a wrench.
"Are you, really content with how you look?" he asked, which made Kida freeze with wide eyes.
"Uh, what do you mean?" she asked, not facing XL.
"I mean, I get that you have been able to deal with your condition, but, are you actually ok with it?" he asked.
Kida said nothing as she put down the wrench, "Listen XL, I know it seems like a terrible thing, I get it, it's a condition that can never be cured and might possibly never find a cure for, but I'm not going to let it get to me and make me depressed or sad or angry, I'm not going to let it control my life, I've gotten this far in my life with it and I don't plan to stop now" Kida said, XL admired it, but he still felt that she could be hurting and not showing it.
"If there was a way to cure this disease, I would take the chance no matter what" Kida said as XL couldn't help but think if there was a way to cure it, suddenly an alarm was heard, Kida pulled out her phone which was making the alarm.
"Ah shoot, I better get to grocery shopping, can't leave it too late" Kida said as she grabbed her bag, "I'm gonna need to lock this place up, so you might wanna leave now, otherwise your rooming with the mechs" Kida joked as XL blushed before he ran outside, making her laugh a bit as she left the warehouse and locking the door.
XL and Kida had split up after that, but not before Kida had given her number and Casey's number to him just incase he would want to hang out with them again, Kida had went to the mall for shopping and XL was heading home, only for the twin tailed red fox to see Kix standing infront of the house.
"Uh hey Kix, what are you doing out here?" XL asked.
"I was looking for you, you do realise you missed training with Tails and Sonic right?" Kix asked, making XL go wide eyed as he chuckled nervously.
"Hehehe, whoops?" he shrugged as Kix facepalmed.
"Look I'm sorry ok? See I met this girl after saving her and-" XL tried to explain before Kix asked, "A girl? She's not another magic girl like that Dashie girl right?" Kix asked.
"What? No, I mean, she is very smart and likes inventing stuff, plus she goes to the college in the city" XL said, "No magic whatsoever".
"Just wanted to make sure bro, you seem to be pretty prone to meeting super powered people who become team members" Kix said.
Before they could talk further, a police radio speech came from XL's Xenotrix and Kix's Xeno badge as they listened in.
"Attention any officers on standby, there has been sightings of the Noir Gang nearby the Xernia City Mall, they had recently escaped prison once again and are armed and dangerous" came the report as XL groaned.
"Come on again? What does it take to make those guys STAY in prison?!" XL said.
"No idea, but lets make sure we give them a lesson they won't forget" Kix said as the two of them entered the house and activated their Xeno suits before running to the back yard.
"Storm Flyers!" Kix yelled as he summoned his Storm Flyer build and took off into the air just as XL jumps up and grabs Kix's legs so he can save time and energy on the Xenotrix.
A few minutes before this, Kida was shopping in the mall as she just got the groceries needed.
"Ok, now lets see if I can find some extra stuff for me, maybe some spare tech on sale, or maybe I can get myself some good drinks for game night, or-" before Kida could finish her sentence, the entrance to the mall was barged open as the Noir Gang ran in with weapons.
"Alright you lot put those hands where we can see them!" said one of the gang members as the people in the mall panicked and did what they said, Kida saw this and instead went for cover, she hid inside a photobooth on the 3rd floor and closed the curtain, hoping none of the gang members saw her.
"Oh god, this isn't good" Kida said as she tried to call the police, however as she dialled, her phone couldn't connect, "Ugh, no reception" she whispered, "For such a great mall, this place has terrible wifi".
She peeked outside the booth through the curtain as she saw some of the Noir Gang had made it to the 3rd floor and she was worried, but then she remembered something as she reached into her bag and pulled out some kind of remote with a screen.
"I haven't had the time to test this, but let's hope this works" she whispered to herself as she pressed a button on the remote.
Back at her warehouse, the Scrapper mech activated as a holographic screen appeared inside the cockpit, showing a map with a tracking beacon blinking on said map, the mech then started to walk as a secret door in the wall for the warehouse opened, letting the mech go out as the door then closed, the mech was now heading towards Kida's location.
Meanwhile just above the Mall, Kix was flying above it with XL hanging onto his legs.
"Looks like they started the party already" XL said.
"Yeah, and we're about to crash it, So what are you gonna go with? Fast or strong?" Kix asked as XL thought about which alien form to use.
"I think I'll go for strong, too many obstacles in the mall for Velocifaster and they'll be expecting Insectoid and Firefly, But I bet they won't handle Thunder Fist! Kix, launch me!" XL said as Kix swung XL downwards towards the mall's glass roof as XL activated the Xenotrix.
"Its Blazing time!" XL yelled as he slammed the core down after he dialed in Thunder Fist, however as the red flash appeared and disappeared, he had transformed into Dragonox instead.
"Dragonox! Wait huh?!" Dragonox questioned as his wings briefly stopped his fall before shrugging, "Oh well, take what you get I guess" Dragonox then dive bombed towards the mall.
Kix also went downwards as he deactivated his wings before constructing his Shock Slammers while aiming one of the giant metal fists towards the ground.
Not too far from the mall was the Scrapper mech Kida had called for as it ran before making it to the mall.
Inside Kida remained inside the photobooth worried, not knowing how long her mech would arrive before the curtain for the booth was opened, showing one of the Noir Gang members.
"Lookie what we got here!" he said as he grabbed Kida and dragged her out of the booth, dropping the remote as she was forced out.
"Alright shortie get down stairs with the others, or a bullet goes through ya" he said as he aimed his gun at her back, Kida was beyond scared as she cooperated, but before they made it to the stairs, Dragonox and Kix smashed through the glass roof and slammed into the ground, surprising the Noir Gang and the hostages as Dragonox and Kix stood up.
"Its alright folks, we got this!" Dragonox said as the hostages cheered, the Noir Gang members however were not pleased as some aimed their guns at them and started to shoot at them, Dragonox used his wings to shield against the bullets while Kix used his giant fists.
"You think these guys would learn by now" Kix said before he slammed one of his hands against the ground, sending an electrical pulse towards the nearest members, shocking them as they fainted, Kix then proceeded to use his Shock Slammers to leap up to the next floor and punch away more members.
Dragonox then flew up into the air before he charged at more members, punching some while grabbing others with his scorpion-like tail and then throwing them away, as Dragonox flew up he saw one of the Noir Gang Members holding Kida hostage, "Kida?" he whispered to himself.
But before he could do anything, suddenly a wall was busted down, revealing the Scrapper mech as it focused on the signal from Kida's remote, it then charged and jumped up to the third floor, which surprised the goon holding Kida by gun point before the mech grabbed him and threw him away, Kida sighed in relief before she grabbed the remote from the photobooth.
"Alright Scrap, lets do this" she said as she then climbed into her mech, she input a code on the controls which made a one way screen, preventing her being seen inside the mech, she took control as it turned to the other remaining Noir Gang members.
"Lets see how you like it chumps!" she said as she made the mech go forwards, scaring the goons as they tried firing it, only for the bullets to shatter upon the mechs armor, Kida smirked inside, "My turn" she said as she inputs a code, the mech then raised its tail before firing a laser blast, it hits one of the members and knocks them back, only leaving them with a burnt hole on this clothes, the other members tried running however the mech grabbed another member and threw them into some others, knocking them out.
Dragonox was very surprised but considering the many people he knew who had powers and a super hero background, he shouldn't be too surprised, but he honestly didn't expect Kida to bring her first mech into a battle, especially one involving him.
Then from the corner of his eye he saw some members tried to shoot him, to which he used one of his wings to block the bullets before he dive bombed towards them and tackled them down.
"Seriously how do you guys keep breaking out? We put you in jail like, last week" Dragonox asked.
"W-We got a good lawyer" said one of the goons before passing out.
"...Seriously?" Dragonox asked while looking to the forth wall before he saw what he could expect was the leader of the group right now as he held a bazooka.
"First the alien hero and his sidekicks, then those dino people and now a Mech?! I'm gonna bring down the numbers on these super weirdos!" he said as he aimed the bazooka at the Scrapper mech from behind, Kida was busy dealing with some other gang members.
"Oh no!" Dragonox said as he charged at the leader.
Kida had grabbed two members before she saw the mechs head be shot at by a member on the top floor.
"Oh now you messed up!" Kida said as she made the mech drop the two gang members and proceeded to climb up the floors to get the gang member.
The leader smirked as Kida climbed up the the third floor, "Time to make some fireworks" he said as he pulled the trigger, firing the rocket, just as he received a hard punch to the face by Dragonox, sending him flying into a wall, knocking him out, but it was too late, the rocket flew at Kida's mech, which she noticed at the last second as she had a terrified look on her face.
"W-What?" she said before she quickly hit a button inside the cockpit, ejecting her from the mech before the rocket hit, destroying the entire back portion of the mech, the tail of the mech hanging by wires as the mech fell, she then noticed she was in midair before falling, letting out a scream and closing her eyes before she felt herself stop in midair, she slowly opened one eye and saw she stopped falling, she looked around before noticing she was being held by her arms by Dragonox as he looked extremely worried.
"Are you alright?!" he asked.
"Y-Yeah, I-I'm ok" Kida said as she tried to calm herself down before looking to the damaged mech with a sad look, "Can't say the same for Scrapper though" she said as she sighed sadly, Dragonox felt terrible for this as he brought her to the gound.
Kix had defeated the last of the Noir Gang as he reconfigured the Shock Slammers back into him, "Ok thats all of them" he said as he ran over to Dragonox, "They're all taken care of, we should let the police handle them now" he said as Dragonox looked to him, "R-Right" Dragonox said as Kida looked at her damaged mech.
"H-Hey, I'm sorry about your mech miss" Dragonox said to her, pretending not to know her.
"Its fine, I never really used it for battle anyway, don't know what I was thinking" Kida said.
"Well, even so, you did well fighting off those gang members, even if you didn't plan for it" Dragonox said as Kida looked to him and thought to herself before smiling slightly.
"Yeah, I-I guess I did" Kida said before the Xenotrix started to beep and flash blue, showing Dragonox didn't have a lot of time left before a blue flash covered him, reverting him back to XL in his Xeno suit.
"Ah shoot, timed out" XL said before looking to Kida, "Why don't I help you bring your mech back to, wherever it is you keep it" XL said, making sure not to expose himself here.
"Are you sure? I'm sure you got some hero stuff to do anyways" Kida said.
"Well I-" before XL could say anything, Kix interrupted him, "Oh nah, he doesn't have anything going on, besides he skipped training today so this could be some extra workout for him" Kix said with a smug grin under his helmet, XL wanted to thank him for covering him but also want to smack him across the head.
"Well, if your sure" Kida said as XL glared at Kix,which the hedgehog brother noticed, "What?" he asked.
"I am so clobbering you when I get home" XL said.
"If I'm even there" Kix said with a smirk before he ran out, "See ya later bro!" he said as he ran.
XL sighed before he went to help out Kida while the police went in and arrested the Noir Gang, once again, confiscating all of their weapons.
Later, XL had helped bring the mech back to Kida's warehouse as he made his way home, when he went inside Xenix appeared in front of him.
"I sense you feel saddened about the end to that fight earlier today" Xenix said to XL.
"How could I not Xenix? Kida worked hard on that mech and now, its entire back is destroyed, its probably gonna take weeks for that to be repaired" XL said.
"I calculate it would take atleast 3 weeks, 4 days, 7 hours-".
"Ok I get it, your smart" XL said as he fell onto the sofa and face plants into a pillow before moving the pillow, "That mech and the…other ones" he said with a blush, "Were the only things that made her feel taller, better, more normal than how she looks now, all because of a stupid genetic disease that is incurable!" XL said in frustration, "I want to help her but, I don't know how" XL said.
"Hmm, well I did scan her DNA earlier and my DNA repair protocol could possibly cure her" Xenix said, making XL jump up in shock.
"Your what?!" he asked.
"My DNA repair Protocol, its a program I have that can repair damaged DNA within any living being, all I need is a scan and locate the damaged cells and purge the damage, repair the damaged cells and presto, it would be as if the DNA wasn't at all in danger, however…" Xenix said.
"However what? However what?!" XL asked the AI.
"However for a disease that has no cure or is incureable, I wouldn't have the amount of power to create such a miracle of a cure" Xenix said as XL was saddened by this, however he started to think after hearing creating a miracle.
"Create a miracle…a miracle, a Miracle…! Thats it!" XL said as he brought out his phone.
"Whats it?" Xenix asked as XL called someone on his phone.
After a few seconds, the person he was calling picked up, "Hey Rouge, its me XL, I was wondering if you knew at all where Shadow could be?" XL asked.
After the team up with the Freedom Fighters, XL managed to get the phone numbers of all of them, except for Shadow, he didn't give one, Xl didn't know if he even had a phone.
Later, at the outer border of Xernia City, Shadow is seen standing on a hill, enjoying a passing cool breeze as he stares at the city.
While he may have mainly stayed around Station Square, Shadow enjoyed exploring around the world, he wouldn't admit this as it would give Sonic more ideas to tease him with, but he had never really explored Xernia City, he had heard of many things from the city and its history but never really went to the city and explore.
However as he was enjoying the peace, he then heard the sound of buzzing insect wings, he looked up and saw XL as Insectoid flying towards him.
"Yeesh, you are a hard guy to track down ya know?" he said before the Xenotrix flashed blue and he timed out, XL landing infront of the red and black hedgehog.
"Thats the point, making sure none of my enemies know where I am, I never stay in one place for too long" Shadow said as he looked to XL, "What do you want?" he asked.
XL breathed in and out and gave a serious look to Shadow, "Listen Shadow, I know this may sound a lot to ask, but can I borrow your Chaos Emerald for a bit? It really important" XL asked.
Shadow remained silent as he gave a glare to XL, which made him nervous, "Why would I give you a Chaos emerald, don't you have enough power with those flames and that watch of yours?" Shadow asked.
XL could see what Shadow meant but he needed to tell Shadow his reasons, "Shadow, this isn't for some fight against someone, this is important, I met this girl and, she has a really bad disease" as XL said that Shadow's eyes slightly opened a bit as a memory played in his head, about someone really important to him from his past.
"Listen Shadow, Maria is very ill, her disease is very dangerous, its so bad we can't let her go back on the planet until she is cured, with your help, we can make a cure for her Shadow, I want you to make sure she remains happy while we develop this cure, do I have your word?"
"Of course Professor, I'll do my best"
"This disease is preventing her body from growing and she is stuck in a 11 year old boy, but she is 17, she says she's fine but I can tell she isn't, she's super smart and built giant mechs, which she is portraying as what she wants for her body to be like, more mature, older than it should be, but this disease is preventing it, I have a way to fix it but, I need a Chaos Emerald to help power it and give me a miracle" XL explained as Shadow thought on this, this was similar to Maria's situation, sure it wasn't a deathly illness, but Shadow was meant to be the key to helping her, and he failed, but now he sees a new opportunity to help someone.
Shadow then put one hand out before a green flash appeared in his hand, now he was holding the green Chaos Emerald in his hand before he handed it to XL, who looked in amazement as he then held the emerald.
"...Make sure to return it, when using it, think about what you want and the emerald should do the rest for you, but make sure to focus on what you want, otherwise the results could be problematic," Shadow explained.
"T-Thank you Shadow" XL said as put the emerald away and went to activate the Xenotrix as it was recharged, "You're really helping me out with this" XL said as he slammed the core down and after the flash, showed he became Velocifaster.
"Velocifaster!" he called out before he sped away, Shadow stared into the distance as he thought to himself, "Hope you can help her" he said to himself.
Soon it was the evening as the sun was starting to set, at the Xernia City college dorms, Kida and Casey were watching some news on the TV as Kida had changed from her normal clothes into a pink and blue shirt and blue shorts with grey kneesocks.
"Hey you doing alright Kida?" Casey asked as Kida was still bummed out from her mech being damaged badly, even with the kind words from the Flame Crusader.
"Y-Yeah, I'm alright, j-just some recent setbacks is all" Kida said as the two watched the TV, then suddenly they heard knocking on the door.
"Were you expecting anyone?" Kida asked.
"No, were you?" Casey asked as Kida shook her head before Kida shrugged as she went to answer the door, as she opened it she was surprised to see XL there.
"XL? What are you doing here? How did you even get on campus?" Kida asked as she let Xl walk in.
"Well, it's kind of a tricky story, but this is super important" XL said as Kida closed the door, Casey seeing it was XL was confused as she got up from the couch.
"So whats up?" Casey asked as XL sighed as he thought to himself.
'Ok, I know everyone else is gonna be concerned and ticked when they find this out, but its the only way this can work and have no problems with identity stuff' XL thought as he looked to the girls.
"Listen, what I'm about to show and tell you two is super important and secretive, nobody else you know can know about this, ok?" XL said.
"Uh, ok?" Kida said.
"Are you ok dude?" Casey asked.
XL sighs before he showed off his Xenotrix, the two were confused for the moment, until Kida starting to connect some dots, seeing the Xenotrix symbol and then remembering that the Flame Crusaders aliens all had the same symbol, then thinking back on how they first met earlier that day when he rescued her, it was starting to make sense, before she spoke, XL then said the words that confirmed her suspicions.
"Xeno suit, on" XL said as then the Xenotrix constructed his Xeno suit right in front of the girls, Casey and Kida were speechless before Kida let out a scream.
"Y-YOUR THE-" before she could scream it out, XL used his tails to cover her mouth, muffling her before the suit reconfigured back into the watch.
"Y-Yeah I know, but please keep quiet" XL said as Kida nodded as he removed his tail from her mouth.
"W-Wait, w-why are you telling us this? Isn't this kind of situation supposed to be some kind of important hero business kind of deal?" Casey asked.
"Weall yeah, normally, but this is important to me and for Kida" XL said as Kida perked up, "Kida, you may not believe this, but I may have a way to cure your Syndrom X disease" XL said making Kida go wide eyed.
"W-What?" She said.
"Wait a minute, you can actually cure it? But its impossible, all the doctors in the world have proven it" Casey said.
"Yes, but I have a alien device that can help cure anything, but just incase its not enough" Xl said as he brought out the chaos emerald shadow gave him, its glow filling the room, "This will give me a boost, so Kida" XL said, gaining her attention again, "You ready to get a normal body?" XL asked.
Kida was about to say yes, but hesitated, she had wanted this for so long, but would it even work? Can it work?.
"H-How do you know it will work?" she asked, "How are you sure it can work? What if you do this and nothing happens? What if you do this and somehow it makes it worse?" she asked.
XL was silent before he answered, "I don't know Kida, but I know one thing, we won't know until we try, we never know anything until we try, you shown me that when you built all of those inventions and made plans for more, even your mechs, you never built scrapper for combat and yet it did an awesome job back at the mall, even when it got damaged, so let me help you now Kida" XL said.
Kida was still unsure before she felt Casey put a hand on her shoulder, "I think you should take this chance Kida, I mean you already look like a kid, what else can happen?" she said, Kida thought for a few seconds beforeshe looked to XL.
"Ok, lets do this" she said as XL smiled before looking to the Xenotrix.
"Xenix, activate DNA repair Protocol" XL said as the Xenotrix's dial started to rotate as then a orange light beam appeared from it and scanned around Kida's body, as that happened, XL focused his thoughts into the chaos emerald as he made sure to concentrate solely on helping Kida fix her body and destroy the Syndrome X disease from her body.
As he focused his thoughts the emerald started to glow brighter and brighter, becoming blinding as Casey and Kida covered both of their eyes as the orange beam also intensified, the room was filled with green and orange light as after a few seconds, Kida felt her body changing as the sound of clothes ripping was heard, after that, the light dimmed and the Xenotrix stopped scanning and the emerald stopped glowing.
XL and Casey opened their eyes and looked to Kida as they couldn't believe their eyes.
"What happened? Did it work? I'm afraid to look" Kida asked as she ket her eyes closed.
"Kida, your gonna have to see this" Casey said as she went to grab a mirror.
"It didn't word, did it?" Kida asked.
"Kida, Casey is right, you need to see this" XL said as Casey came back with a large mirror.
Kida slowly opened her eyes as she stared at the reflection of the mirror Casey brought it, and gasped, she couldn't believe her eyes or the reflection, her body was, changed, it was way different before, she looked mature, she looked older, she looked…normal.
She now had the body of her appropriate age, she had grown taller, her hair had grown out and gotten longer, her tail was also longer and bigger, her pants and shirt had tears from her new body as she had bigger hips and her breasts were actually developed now, as she admired her reflection, tears formed in her eyes, happy tears.
"I-I'm, I-I'm cured…I'm cured" she said as she started to cry happily before hugging XL, who was taken back from the hug, "I'M CURED! I'M CURED I'M CURED I'M CURED!" she said as she cried and hugged XL tight, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" she said as XL smiled for her but also felt his spine being bent out of shape.
"Y-Your, welcome" XL said as Kida gasped and let him go.
"I-I-I got to call my mom! My sisters! They need to know!" Kida said as she tried to run and get her phone, only to trip onto the floor, "Oops, longer legs, gonna need to adjust" she said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
Casey walked over to XL and hugged him aswell, but not as hard as Kida did, "Thanks for that hero, you really made her happy" Casey said as she let him go as XL looked to Kida with a smile.
"Yeah well, couldn't just let her suffer when I could help, I'll do anything for my friends" XL said.
"Anything? Then you wouldn't mind lending a hand with homework?" Casey asked with a smirk as XL looked to her, "Oh no no, I ain't a homework guy" XL said.
"But you said you'd do anything for your friends" Casey teased.
"Anything but that!" XL said with a smirk as Kida ran back into the room, now with her phone but not calling her folks.
"I just realised, I'm gonna need a whole new wardrobe!" Kida said, "I need to get onto a delivery site pronto and order as many new clothes as I need, wait what are my measurements now? I need to check!" Kida said as she rushed around whole trying not to trip over herself.
After calming Kida down and XL left to return the emerald to Shadow, it was now night time as Kida and Casey were getting ready for bed, Kida adjusting to her cured form as she was borrowing a pair of Caseys Bed wear, which was a pair of orange shorts and a green shirt with a lion face on the front.
Kida and Casey had laid in their beds, but both could not get to sleep, as their thoughts were still filled with what had happened earlier, all because of XL, now one could say all the excitement of that moment was keeping them awake, however, their thoughts were filled with mostly XL as they couldn't stop thinking about how nice he was and doing whatever he could to help Kida out and even revealing such big secret to them that he was a super hero, that could turn into Aliens.
As such, they were blushing as their faces were red, both thought the same thing as they had realized what was happening.
'Oh god I think I like him THAT way'

"Oh god what are my measurements? I need to check!" Kida yelled as she stripped out of her clothes, now naked, forgetting for a moment XL was still there in the room as XL was blushing like crazy and even started to nose bleed, Casey quickly tried to cover his eyes with a deep blush of her own.
"KIDA! XL IS STILL HERE!" Casey yelled which Kida realized as blushed deeply and covered herself with her tail.
"W-Whoops" she said with an embarrassed chuckle.
Alien Biology #7: Pyrolambus
Greeting, viewers. It is I, Xenix
And me, Gizmo
Today we shall visit the Zootopia System. This system is home with various sapient life-form based on various non-sapient species found on Mobius. Today, we shall explain about one of the inhabitants of Planet Green, the Pyrolambus.
Please make sure to stay safe and please do not interact with the wildlife, as it can very well fight back
The scene is then changed after a travel through a portal, to which we see a large lush jungle like planet as Gizmo flies down to the planets surface.
Welcome to Planet Green, its a planet that is filled with jungles and forests to the brim and with no shortage of inhabitants, one of the main species of the planet being, the Pyrolambus
Indeed, the Pyrolambus, which it's a joint word between Lampyridae and Pyro, which translates as literally "Fire Firefly", live deep in the Great Forest of Life along with Monarchian, and are good neighbor to the Florasian.
Pyrolambus lives among the tree tops, each connected via bridges and contains various beautiful lamps that glows at the darkest of night. They used their pyrokinesis for constructive and supportive use, so its offensive use is weaker then the Pyronite or Methanosian. They can mold the flames into blades, shields, gloves, etc. Very handy if I do said so myself.
The diets of the Pyrolambus are the crystal worms, a type of worm that consumes gem-like minerals.
As Xenix explained an image of a grub-like worm was shown with was big enough to hold in our hand, having an orange crystal like body but looked very squishy.
They are very edible to them and even find their dropping delicious. It's…awkward when you're not a Pyrolambus… Ahem. Oh and they loves honey ore!
Then another image is shown of a yellowish-orange honeycomb shaped mineral with yellowish-orange substances dripping off it.
Now that is what any species can really relate! My Creators ex Zennith loves honey ores! And did ya know they can make any delicious meals with crystal worm and honey ore? Like honey pie, worm steaks, honey orange worms, sounds quite delicious!
After discussing the diet of the Pyrolambus, two of said species were shown, one male and one female as Gizmo began to explain the differences.
For the anatomy, the male Pyrolambus had large exo-shells on their back that are detachable and acts as offensive shield, along with sharp pincers around the jaw area and uses their abdomen to produce lethal flash of light that blinds the opponent while also having a sharp stinger for offensive attacks.
The female have rather larger abdomens, which it's known to be an attractive feature of their kind, especially when they light it up. They are not as strong as the male and thus heavily rely on speed, pyrokinetic weapoen constructs and their abdomen stingers. The Pyrolambus are known to be the fastest flyer, capable of reaching the speed of sound in an instant.
Like all insects, they have a queen. The Pyrolambus' royal blood can be known for the female has crown-like horns on their heads and the abdomen is twice time larger then common juvenile female Pyrolambus.
Said example is shown by comparing a normal female Pyrolambus, who had no horns on their heads and a normal sized abdomen, to a queen Pyrolambus, who did have the horns and their abdomens were much larger than the normal females, being 3 times the size.
At full age, they evolved to their queen state, which was considered to be an Ultimate/Hyper evolved form. According to this universes Albedo, the males battle against their predators, the vicious Aquaspitter, giant fish-like creature that discharge aquatic blast that render the Pyrolambus' wings and powers useless, and is fast enough to even catch them with their maws.
Said predator is shown as a giant fish like creature with a giant maw filled with sharp fangs and teeth while also firing a large torrent of water from said maw at a Pyrolambus warrior.
Albedo estimated the males must battle the beasts in some kind of swamp area where time and space is distorted, making a single day outside, a week would happen within the swamp. If one survived, they evolved into their Ultimate state and deemed themselves worthy for the Queen. A true determination of love and honor.
For activities, Pyrolambus are lovers of fencing, aerial dances, gardening and harvesting crystal worms. They're all very well-manner and respectful, always remains honorable amongst strangers and foes. One of them even called my creators ex "Lady Zennith", according to Albedo, she was very flattered by the title..
