I am goign to try and update much I can this time around with my stories and get them moving and pushing forward. I am making a little bit better schedule to work with as well so that there will be days I will come on and continue writing and getting my stories updated a little bit faster.
The next story I do want to get updated next is One piece, on the account I literally just stopped with Luffy and Kuina and Bellemere meeting with Usopp and such. Along with introducing the Cat pirayes and Kuros as well.
Also hope you all have fun reading this chapter, I wanted to make the scenes and introductions to characters look really cool and awesome when they show up and such. Along with making the action sequences, hopefully fluid and very well imagiative to you readers, as if you are watching an animation happening in front of you and such. As the next chapter for this Arc will be the final part of Aether and crew saving Dvallin and will then start moving onto the Liyue arc- with of course first, introducing the rest of the Mondstat characters into the mix, along with introducing Eula and Klee- along with introducing the girls who will be traveling with Aether on his journey, with few of the girls jumping in and out here and there with the waypoints.
Until I reach the Serentiy Teapot in Liyue, then the girls will be permanetly joining him. Or at least, everyone have a home to be in between travels and breaks and where the lemons will start coming more often. So without further adieu, hope you all enjoy and have fun reading.

Chapter 8: The war to saving Dvallin Part 2
Explosions could be heard across the outside walls of Mondstat. Arrows being fired and flung into the air soaring in an arch as they reach the highest point of the air, then careening downwards into the ground. Striking their foes, piercing through monsters of the abyss that were rushing and making their way towards the city. Elemental magic was being casted and sent through the air and ground level of the battlefields. Pyro-like orbs and fireballs were being thrown from the top of the castle walls, singing and burning the grass in the distance creating openings and elemental reactions to those at ground level. Catalysts users were lined up in the southern walls of Mondstat providing air support much they can, while those who uses their elements to support and buff their allies and even healing magic, tended to the wounded whenever the monsters managed to lay a hit on the guards and knights that were on the castle walls.
The Knights of Mondstat that were on ground level charged forward from the castle gates- making sure to keep the gates low as possible, in case any Hilichurl or monsters of the abyss managed to slip by through their defenses and attempts to enter the city. Which is very unlikely, considering they have backed up at the gates prepared to kill the monsters before they even dare step inside. Kaeya, is out in the battlefield and rushing across the stone bridge connecting to Mondstat was rapidly approaching the first waves of monsters that were charging and running their way over to him and the bridge. With Lisa and few knights following right behind him, as he jumps into the air after reaching the edge of the bridge and quickly began spinning about, having his Cryo Vision glowing brightly as he summoned icicle spears surrounding his body, to then arch his sword arm backwards- focusing the spears to be above him and having the jagged points of the skill, facing forward and then had them blasting forward with a cold howls of the wind!
They spun and twirled about each other as they clashed and smashed against the monsters that were foolish enough to think they could evade the move. Only to have one peirce through their face and mask, ending their life right there and then. The second icicle smashed near four hilichurls who were suddenly blasted into the air from the whiplash, then got electrocuted by Electro users firing and summoning lightning from their vision causing a Conductive explosion with Cryo and Electro, exploding electricity everywhere and sending discharges ice particles to nearby monsters when both elements react to one another. The final Icicle that Kaeya fired landed against the Big churls face and mask, freezing its body halfway and staggering backwards- to then collapsing onto its knees and disappearing in a puff of smoke when Kaeya sliced down the middle of the creature with a clean cut. Kneeling down when he landed on the ground, then kicked off forward to deal with more Hilichurls as he slashes left to right, summoning his icicles again and causing a white flash!
The flash disappeared and showed Lisa twirling about and throwing her arms in multiple directions, sending off electro orbs here and there- to each and every hilichurl that were making their way close to her. Followed by screaming and grunting out in pain, when she stopped twirling about and raised both her arms and hands above her head, closing her eyes and smiling, connecting each digit of her fingers together. Emitting a wide and circular like energy shadow below her with sparks of electricity here and there sparking and crackling as they separated and pulled away from her body and when about ten Hilichurls got into the vicinity, she quickly opened her eyes and smirk and thrusted both arms down as large lightning bolts came crashing down onto the enemies!
Creating loud booms and bangs of thunder to erupt when her Electro connected to each and single one of the Hilichurls who got caught. A few survived, but screamed out in pain when Pyro arrows came flying towards them and caused mini-explosions to happen from connecting Pyro and Electro elements together, having Lisa to giggle about and lightly turn her head towards the Castle walls. Seeing Amber sticking her tongue and rapidly firing each charged arrow with precise aim and precision. Using the elemental reactions with her fellow knights to get an upper hand on the enemies, mixing Melt reactions with Cryo users and Conduct reactions with Electro users- followed by using Vaporize reactions to help weaken any of the Hydro slimes that were being summoned and created by Abyss Mages- who were growling and getting annoyed, as more of them appeared and started firing their elements towards the castle walls!
Voley of different elements were heading for the archers and catalysts users who were supporting from the air. But they needn't worried as the catalysts users and archers took aim and began firing at the elements that were coming their way- along with Amber, firing her single arrow charged with Pyro and fired it upwards and had it raining down dozen of pyro fused arrow like rain down against the elements, but also the nearby Abyss mages- as the Cryo and Electro mages yelped, screechs and grunted out in pain as the constant explosion from the Electro mages element making contact with Amber's pyro element, kept making it exploded and erupt- forcing the electro explosions to then erupt and explode against the Cryo mages barrier, causing a quadruple reaction of Super conduct, and Overloaded reactions. Course this had the other two mages who saw this, laughing and giggling at the suspense of their comrade- only for Vials and Potions came fallen and dropping near them, having them look down and stopped laughing- then look to one another and realized they were filled with Anemo and let out a powerful screeches as their barriers immediately dispersed from the vials and potions erupting in powerful Anemo magic.
Mixing and fusing both Pyro and Hydro together and destroying the barriers with ease, followed by swordsman and claymore users rushing in and began slashing and cutting through them. With Sucrose grabbing some more vials i her pouch, to then spinning around and throwing a good amount of them around her and towards the on coming monsters that were rushing towards her- even the Slimes as well, as they all got blasted and flung into the air with her Anemo Hypostasis skill and smiled, adjusting her glasses as she saw some members of the knights returning from the battle field, was Bannett! Who has white spiky short hair and wearing an adventurers outfit, came twirling about and swinging his claymore about infusing it with Pyro and slamming it into the ground, causing an eruption to happen and…unfortunately throwing himself backwards from the whiplash and smacking into a tree, causing it to fall over and crashing down and slamming and practically crushing other enemies nearby.
Mona, who was right behind him, jumps onto the fallen tree and then leaps into the air- summoning her astral reading dial and then having the blue energy of Hydro crashing into the ground and creating a summoning circle! Imbuing and buffing everyone around her and herself with burst of energy, strength and stamina as Bennett felt the energy flowing in him, let out a battle cry and leaps onto his feet and ran forward and clashed his claymore towards a Big churls Axe, that was coming straight down towards Mona- who just smiled and quickly twirled away form Bennett and the monster, as she then snaps her fingers and thumbs to discharge a fully charged Hydro attack- mixing reactions to Bennett's pyro and causing vaporize on the creature! Forcing it to stagger back and drop its weapon and giving Bennet the opening he needed and leaps into the air- flames dancing and flying about as he does so and came slashing straight down into the monster with a fiery blast!

After the fire blast disappeared it showed Diluc taking a low breath of air, then kicking backwards into a nearby Hilichurl who was about to hit him with one of its blades, then reaching forward and grabbing its face and head. While spinning around and throwing it into the air, where Jean followed up by leaping into the air- then rapidly and swiftly moving her rapier about in quick sessions, cutting the hilichurl apart and landed next to Dilucs as it disappeared, as she and him then charged up their Elemental energy of Anemon and Pyro and fired it forward towards the group that were in pursuit of them, but were screaming and flying about when the combination of Jean's Anemo bullet followed by Diluc's Phoenix pyro shape bird followed along it. The combination of the two had strengthened and powered up Diluc's Pyro skills and made Jean's Anemo bullet becoming a swirling fireball of death as it exploded and erupted on the nearby enemies! When they disappeared Jean and Diluc pulled their weapons close to them and continued charging forward!
Venti was behind them as he was supporting in the distance firing arrows after arrows towards the monsters that were blocking their path towards Stormterrors lair. Crowding the mountain trail and making it slightly impossible to make it easy to traverse through without being forced to fight them. When Venti saw Traveler running along the mountain side and leaping off the mountain walls, Venti smiled and then took aim. "Aether, get ready- I am going to use my powers!" Venti called out, having Aether who stabbed a big hilichurls forehead and back flipped off. Turned and saw Venti gathering a lot of Anemo energy into his arrows, then fired it a good twenty feet away and zipping past Jean and Dilcu.
With Jean back flipping and spreading her legs apart from one another as the arrow flew between her legs, with Diluc rolling underneath her and throwing his Claymoreupwards, having the anemo fused arrow get his Pyro element onto it and whipped past the claymore and then glowed in the distance and middle of the pathway! Then erupting into a loud howling of winds and roaring flames as an anemo fused looking blackhole erupted and began firing both anemo and pyro everywhere and sucking in the enemies before them!
Aether saw it and began rushing forward with swiftness, as he cartwheel left and slashing his sword to nearby Samnuchurls who were trying to not get pulled, only to be killed and defeated by Aether- as he then cartwheel to his right and threw his right arm forward and used his Wind blade to cut through a down abyss mage and broken through its barrier, followed up by holding the wind blade and carrying the mage with him and tossed it towards another Abyss mage who appeared next to Jean, only for the Pyro barrier to disperse immediately by Aether throwing the Hydro mage into it, which the mage grunted when it face planted on the Pyro mages barrier and flopped onto the ground and disappeared- making the current mage to look at his comrade and then towards Jean, sweat dropping as she smirk at him and then blink her eyes as it quickly waved its hands rapidly, to then quickly firing couple pyro fireballs into the air and then having it exploded onto itself and killing itself in front of a very confused and bemused Jean, who just blink her eyes and then shrugs.
Aether who is getting close to the black hole like anemo power Venti fired, the blonde traveler quickly parkour against the mountain side and then jumps high into the air- gathering anemo energy himself and began spinning and twirling rapidly, while firing off his Anemo tornado right towards the Anemo and Pyro black hole. Causing it to enter inside it and bringing forth more of the surrounding enemies with them, to then erupting against Venti's skill and had the Tornado flashing between green and red, tossing and throwing fireballs, fire waves and even sharp winds everywhere as the hilichurls and monsters couldn't do anything to stop it and were being killed one by one, as they were being burned, singed and caught on fire from the Fireballs and fire waves, to some being cut and sliced in half with the sharp winds and razor sharp blades that were flying out from the Anemo Archon and Aether's Anemo powers.
Once the two powerful skills ended and the four had made a clear path ahead. They all took a moment to gain their senses and relax, before nodding to one another and continued running forward and deeper within the mountain path and began entering decrypted and destroyed ruins, structures and pillars, however their travels were cut short as missiles came soaring straight towards the group. Making them all to slide to a stop and quickly tried jumping away from the rockets but all of them let out pains of yelps and hisses when the rockets exploded against one another and sent them flying in all directions. As Jean was tossed and thrown towards an opening with some rubble and structures that were sticking out from the ground. Causing her to hit her shoulder and cutting a bit of her outfit from the edge, while tumbling and bouncing about to a stop while hitting against one of the walls.
Diluc was blown forward and crashed against the ground, as he did his best to keep his body from being cut or bruised from the impact. But was hard to do as he kept losing his grip on the ground and damaging his palm and fingers against the dirt, before hissing out when his back hit against one of the edges of the structures. While Aether grunted out and fell forward and onto the ground when his back hit hard against one of the bridge towers- while Venti yelped and hissed when his faced crashed into a mountain wall and tumbled and rolled across the ground, feeling light burning sensations against his skin and felt bit of his clothes had been burned and slightly torn from the explosion. As he pulled both arms closed to his chest and lifted upward, while wincing one eye opened and saw a Ruin guard walking about and preparing for another attack.
"Of course…it had to be a fucking Ruin Guard." Venti grumbled out and quickly hopped onto his feet and ran forward to check on the others as he began running away and dodging from a laser shooting out from its core and central eye as the laser exploded on one of the structures Venti ran by and covered the area with a large smokescreen. The bard quickly made his way over to the rising Aether, as the blonde traveler shook his head and rested a hand on his forehead. While then lifting his head up and seeing Venti rushing over to him, while sliding to a stop asking, "You alright Aether?"
"Yeah," Aether replied while then both turned towards the Ruin Guard, as it began preparing to fire more missiles. "Venti! Think you can hit the eye there! That could be a weakness." Aether quickly pointed out and began hopping, skipping forward and then going into a full sprint! Having Venti quickly summoning his bow and took aim, summoning anemo power into shape of an arrow and fired it straight towards the Ruin guards core- causing it to let out gruntle robotic noises and even going all static like- as the missiles fired off in random directions and exploding on the mountain walls, ruin structures and even the ground.
Aether continued running forward and look beyond the Ruin guard and saw Jean, recovering from the earlier attack and running towards the guard as well. Both locking eyes and hardening them and giving a firm nod as they leap into the air- watching Venti firing off another arrow towards the core and disabling the ruin guard before it could recover and get back onto its feet! Which gave the opening Aether and Jean needed as they came flying down from the air, slicing through each arm of the mech's arms off. While sliding and rolling away from it to then seeing Diluc- who had been running up one of the ruins structures and buildings, wall jump off from it and began spinning rapidly through the air with his claymore. Imbued it with his Pyro vision and then came crashing down on top of the guard and splitting it in half! Then quickly rolls forward and away from the mech as the circuitry and wires begin sparking and shooting out, then blowing up in front of the group and surrounding the area with large clouds of smoke!

Kaeya flew out of the smoke and tumbled about close towards the cider lake surrounding Mondstat, his clothes a little torn and dirty, some soot here and there with some bruising and dirt covering his face. As he stood up and quickly flicked his sword about and panting lightly, "They sure do know how to not give up huh?" He said towards a platinum blonde hair girl and one of the Idols of Mondstat and part of the Church Barbara, as she came rushing over and began applying her healing magic on him. "Do we know how many are left?" Kaeya asked once more towards Barbara, as she hummed and looked towards the on coming Abyss army.
"I don't know, but we're starting to get exhausted and tired." She then turned towards some of the knights, who were retreating but also firing off their Vision powers towards the enemy, looking worn and tired, to even some being helped by others and carried back to the castle walls. "IF this keeps up though- everyone will be tired and exhausted, and will start getting injured from this fight." Barbara said and removed herself form Kaeya, as a couple of knights rushed over to the two and had catalysts users jumping forward and firing off their attacks to deflect and fend off Hilichurls and Sanuelchurls who were approaching them.
Kaeya hummed as he saw Barbara backing away and looking worn out herself. Seemingly using up a lot of elemental energy to heal their soldiers and allies from the battle. No doubt he thought it was the same for the others as he then looked around the battlefield and saw some of their soldiers, having to back away or run away when the pressure was being pushed. Then looking to the left of him, he saw the slimes were also getting the upper hand and overwhelming everyone that were trying to push them back. But considering their lucidity and sleek bodies,it was hard for bowmen and bow women to injure them or deal any kind of damage. While claymore and catalyst users were having trouble finding the right element reaction, or their large swords just whiffing and sliding right off the slime bodies. Forcing them to quickly run back and get out of the way of the slimes, breathes, bubbles and pyro attacks.
He lightly huff and then turned around and saw Lisa and Amber rushing over towards him, alongside with Banette- as Sucrose and Mona had retreated back to the castle walls in order tor recover and regain their elemental energy. Amber being the first to speak up. "Kaeya, there doesn't seem to be a lot of enemies left in the army. But their rallying up a lot of Abyss mages and slimes." Amber said as Lisa then flicked her wrist and huffed.
"And some of those slimes are Cryo and Geo, it will be quite hard and difficult to break their enhanced armor and shields."
Banette then said, "Not only that, but with Pyro, Hydro and Electro Abyss following right behind them. It will be difficult to split the forces between the two and not lose sight of any surprise attacks." Banette then sighed and shook his head. "Things will definitely get bad if they start spreading us thin."
Kaeya nodded lightly and looked to the side, while then thrusting his sword towards the right without really looking and defeating a charging Hilichurl who thought will be stupid enough to attack while they were talking. "How long till our scouts return?" Kaeya asked lightly and turned this direction towards Barbara, who fended off some small Pyro slimes that were approaching them and looked towards Kaeya. "Still thirty minutes or an hour?"
"I believe so- but I think…" Barbar then placed a finger on her chin, then widening her eyes. "If I go and reach the Church bells and start ringing them! It could alert them in the distance and have them rushing over as quickly as possible!" She suggested and turned to Amber who smiled.
"I can also fire my arrows into the air with Baron bunny and send a signal flare in the air to attract their attention and possibly any other knights that are out in the fields!"
Lisa grinned and then turned to Banett, "Banett don't you know someone in the wilds that could help us out? Someone you called Razor?" She asked and then Banett crossed his arms, thinking it through and widening his eyes and smiles.
"Of course! Yeah, he is usually around these parts, so I would think that he be-" Then all of them quickly turned towards their right and saw some of the Samuelchurls and Bigchurls being defeated and electrocuted by someone, who is swiftly moving and dashing through and between the trees and bushes- carrying a menacing looking Claymore, followed by what looked to be an electro apparition of a wolf- cutting and slashing down the abyss army like they were butter! To then cutting through one of the Cryo and Pyro mages barrier,s using the elemental reactions from his electro to quickly dispatch their barriers then cutting the two mages in half with one heavy swing, as he had the hilt of the sword in his mouth,m to then grabbing it while sliding and spinning across the ground with one hand, swinging it over head and killing one monster in front of him! Then used the momentum to throw himself into the air, with the electro wolf double upper cutting two samuelchurls into the air!
Razor who was now flung into the air, quickly spun around and in an overhead fashion, descended down upon a bigchurl and sliced straight down in the middle with a loud bang! Followed by then kicking the hilt of the sword after the sword hit the ground and went flying forward and doing a spinning slash through the air- going through couple of slime monsters and then impaling two archer Hilichurls that died on the spot with the sword slamming into a tree bark and had Razor zipping through the field darkening the skies slightly as he began using his electro wolf spirit to zigzag through multiple hilichurls and slimes, that he reappeared next to his sword and thrusted it out from the tree bark. With explosions of electro erupting and creating a dome after he did that technique, as the young white hair teen then lifts his head and flip his hood, red eyes staring towards Bannett and the crew, "Friend Bannett, trouble- Me come to help." He said in broken language as he began approaching the group. "Razor was told, by the Wolf leader, to aid in this fight. Make sure monsters don't destroy human homes, but also wolfendum."
Kaeya laughed softly while clapping his hands, "And we welcome the Wolves' help indeed, Razor. That was quite the impressive display of skill there." Said one of the chiefs of the Knights. "Well then, Barbara, you go and ring that church bell." Kaeya ordered as the girl nodded and began running back towards Mondstat. "Lisa, Amber you two go and find a good spot to go and send that signal flare- using your Electro could make the explosion become wider and bigger for our scouts to see."
"Roger!" Amber said and began dashing towards one of the best places to go and make the signal flare. With Lisa giggling and winking towards Kaeya.
"Sure thing, make sure to keep the defenses going. Bennett and Razor, keep up the good work!" She said and began following Amber. Kaeya then turned and faced the two boys and smiled.
"Right then, Razor and Bannett you both seem to be great friends and know each other and partnered up before. Think you can go and assist and protect some of the injured Knights and get them back to the city, allowing backup to come on out and replace them?" He asked the two in which Bannett happily pumps both his arms and nods. While Razor tilts his head confusingly and then smiles as Kaeya makes it simpler to understand. "If you smell blood from the knights, I need them to head back to that city." He said and pointed to Mondstat. "We don't want to lose any valuable friends. They are like our wolf pack."
"Got it, Leader of knight words will be taken to heart." Razor said and then ran off with Bannett.
"Whoa wait Razor, don't go off on your own!" Bennett shouted and did his best to keep up with Razor as they went and helped out any of the injured knights that were in the battle. Having Kaeya to laugh some more and then turn towards his right and saw three slimes approaching him, but shook visibly when they got caught and stood stock still in their places all being Hydro slimes. "Well, well think you could sneak up on me?" He then chuckled. "Well…you sadly made a big mistake considering that your hydro and…I am Cryo." He snicker and had his icicle spears appear around him and circling around him. "So…might want to rethink your strategy here. Which element do you think will win?"
The slimes didn't had time to react as the icicles flew towards them and basically froze them in place, while Kaeya goes lazily approaching them, twirling and spinning his sword up and down in his right arm and then slashes the slimes in half and began running towards the enemy army. Feeling his strength has returned and ready to get back into the battlefield. "I just hope the others are making it safely towards Stormterror's lair. I pray that they succeed in their mission."
Kaeya thought to himself as he lifted his head and saw Amber and Lisa in the distance not to far from the battlefield, which he figured they didn't want to leave their army with no support and saw Baron bunny being fired straight towards the sky, along with Lisa firing off an electric orb towards the doll and had it expand and implode into a very large firework like explosion with both Pyro and Electro being displayed in the air. In a brilliant flash of light, along with the timing being perfect as thick and slightly dark clouds began approaching over the lands- making it easier to see the signal flare the two produce for anyone in the vicinity to see!
He even then heard the church bells going off behind him in Mondstat as Barbara was able to get there and start ringing the bell. For any knights and possible adventurers that are exploring or scouting around the area, to come back and lend a hand to help the city and the incoming army. KAeya happily jumps into the air and does a downward slash towards an archer Hilichurl, to then quickly twirled and flip towards the right, killing another archer that was about to fire at him- and then Kaeya posed and fired off three icicles towards couple more, erupting in ice spikes and shards when they struck the enemies and then twirled the sword backwards. "I better go and check on some of the rookie knights that are out here too…" he thought to himself while facing towards the east direction.
As Kaeya was rushing through the battlefields and approaching the eastward side of Mondstat, he can see some of the rookie knights battling it out with some Hilichurls and Slime monsters- as they were jumping at one another or jumping away, with some of the knights rolling out of the way from the Hydro slimes jumping into the air and then crashing on down towards the warriors. Only to miss at the last second, while then being blown back or blasted away by anemo users and some pyro users- causing vapor steam to erupt from the Hydro slimes and making a small smokescreen within the battlefield.
Kaeya slowed down however and came to a jogging stop as he saw some familiar faces rushing in to give support! Her red hair flowing about and flicking wildly as she ran through the fields and wielding a halberd polearm in her hands, as she goes dashing through some of the Hilichurls who weren't looking in her directions- disappearing and reappearing in black and blue smoke, followed by twirling the halberd over her head and thrusting it downwards towards the next hiilchurl and thrusting it through its back and pulling it out. When pulling the weapon out, she made sure to twirl the weapon under her arms, then jabbing the next hilichurl who was approaching her by the tip and through the heart. She then gripped the polearm tightly and made sure the Hilichurl body was still attached to the weapon, and began spinning in place!
Extending her legs outward and kicking some slimes away from her, to slamming the hilichurl body off the weapon and crashing down onto some others nearby, as she then jabbed the spear tip into the ground and continued spinning and swinging around the polearm, summoning icicle like spear out of thin air and had them crashing and clashing downwards towards the nearby monsters- as she continued doing this and using the momentum of her spinning to climb upwards of the pole arm, then placing one palm against the hilt of the weapon. Her dress and skirt flinging and throwing about as she does so, freezing all the enemies around her as she then bounces the pole off the ground, leaping into the air- while then gathering Cryo energy all around her weapon, to then throwing it hard and fast towards the rookie knights who were starting to get surrounded. Only to be saved as the spear she threw, enlarged itself and became a giant ice-shape polearm and crashed hard into the ground, then erupting with a loud explosion sending icicles in all directions and killing half the monsters that surrounded the rookies.
She then landed on the ground and adjusted her hair shouting, "Finish them off quickly before they defrost!" She yelled out and saw the rookies responding and quickly ran forward and finished off the frozen monsters, having the woman to breathe lightly and shake her head. "Tch, so annoying these pests are. I wonder where they got smart to attack the city?" She openly said as she sensed Kaeya's presence and approached her, having the red hair woman stare over to him and say. "I will make sure the rookies here are safe and sound. I saw the signal flare and rushed as fast I could. How is everything on the other side?"
Kaeya smirks while lightly waving at her, "Hello to you too Rosaria," He joked and saw the woman's expression looking unamused. "We're starting to tire out and are swapping much of the knights we can between Mondstat and the battlefield. But so far, we're holding up alright." Kaeya informed her while then quickly jog past her and sliced a Big churl in the chest, with Rosaria following up with a backflip and jabbing her spear straight through the big churl's mask and both of them then caused Cryo energy to implode on the inside of the monster and disappeared in front of them, as Rosaria quickly landed on her feet and swung the spear in her underarm, with Kaeya swishing his sword about and sheath it into its holster. "But as you notice…they too aren't letting up and are constantly continuing to send more and more of their monsters at us."
Rosaria huffed and clicked her tongue as she began looking and accessing the situation they're currently in. "Do you think this was planned? I don't recall the Abyss being all that bright with their monsters, and considering how coordinated they are as well. Makes me wonder if this was deliberately planned out?" She said and told Kaeya, who went ahead and also assessed their current situations and nodded lightly. Considering this was definitely very well thought out and planned, having planned an invasion right as the GrandMaster leaves Mondstat and also their heavy hitters too with Diluc? It was very well thought out and planned.
"No doubt about it that this was planned. Too convenient too that they suddenly attack while the Grandmaster and Diluc, along with the Honorary knight- go on a quest to help Dvallin and see what is wrong with him, or what the Abyss has done to the Wind Dragon."
"Honorary knight?" Rosaria repeated and then slashed her spear outwards to stab a Samulechurl face and kill it on the spot. "I heard of Dvallin attacking the city and someone was able to fend it off? Was…that the Honorary knight?" She asked "And who are they?"
Kaeya laughed and smiled, "Hate to say, you will have to find out once we get out of this alive and protecting everyone from danger." Kaeya informed while he then turned back towards the westward direction where he came from, seeing some explosions and crackling of electicity happening near the bridge. "Shit, sorry to cut this chat short. But looks like we're facing something that is overpowering the knights. You?"
"Go!" Rosaria quickly shouted and turned around as she heard the rookies shouting out and looking to be running back from something, seemingly a very heavy and large looking Big Churl has descended down from Dragon Spire, getting her and Kaeya to grit their teeth. "IF you see Noelle near your station, please have her come rushing over here!" She shouted and began running forward towards the large brawly Hilichurl. "Claymore users on me! We must wear down the monster's armor and defenses, so that the Catalysts, polearms and sword wielders can deal damage!"
"Will do, make sure you all stay alive!" Kaeya shouted and began dashing back to the bridge of Mondstat, gritting his teeth and grinding them as he was running, jumping and leaping over some of the debris and scorching battlefield that is plaguing their lands. Seeing another large brawly looking Hilichurl at the bridge, with Amber, Lisa and Bannet along with Razor doing everything they can to fend it off and keep it away from the city. With Sucrose, Mona and Barbara supporting from couple distance away, but all of them looking beaten, slightly cut here and there and missing pieces of their clothing as they tried fighting back the Geo elemental Hilichurl, who was summoning Geo like spikes from the ground whenever it slammed its fists into the ground and causing quakes and shimmers to happen. Following by charging shoulder first into some of the group- causing them to be thrown into the air and hitting back down hard into the ground, causing massive injuries on the team.
"Damn, Grandmaster, I hope things are going okay on your end. We could really use your help and healing capabilities…we just gotta keep going and make sure that everyone survives through this ordeal!" Kaeya said to himself while leaping off a hill and began rapidly spinning in the air and straight towards the Geo armored Big churl, with his icicles appearing around him and shooting straight towards the massive beast as we zoomed onto his eyes and a flash of white exploded around him.

Jean then could be seen being flown back and slamming into one of the ruin structures of Stormterror's lair, hissing and grabbing her back, as her coat was completely ripped and torn off from her body, her tights ripped and cut open here and there. Along with parts of her shirt got cut off, exposing and revealing her cleavage and side boobs underneath the shirt. The blonde hair woman looked up and glared towards the Cryo mage who had snuck up on her after they entered the lair, and had separated all four of them apart. But smiled when she saw the Phoenix shape burning bird coming straight towards the Cryo mages shield, which had it turning around in confusion before yelling out in fright- feeling the barrier disappearing and then get sucked into Aether's wind blade, that is mixing with the Pyro energy and blasted the mage into the air.
Followed by Venti rushing in and firing dozens of arrows into the monster and finishing it off quickly before it could recover and killed it on the spot. All four of them then let out loud gasping breaths and huffing of air, as Jean gets up from the ground- using her rapier to support her and then closes her eyes and focuses her anemo energy. Raising her sword to the front of her face and then thrusting it upwards! Summoning a magical circle around her and the group, as she gasped out and felt sweat pouring out from her forehead as she then asked. "Everyone alright? We are doing okay, and who needs attention to their wounds?" She asked as Aether and Venti took a couple of minutes to catch their breaths before answering her, with Aether raising a hand and waving it.
"A little hurt and slight injuries here and there, but nothing a little rest could do to take care of it." The blonde traveler said to Jean, as Venti nodded his head and collapsed to the floor groaning out and stretching out his back.
"I am good, but man…this is a lot of hard work. I rather be doing some poems or music than outright, going around breaking my muscles and pulling them." He then laughed when Dilcu came over and just deadpanned.
"All you want to do is try and get drunk and drink my wine." Diluc said and then looked at everyone's conditions. Aether having cuts and bruises on his face and arms, parts of his clothing slightly torn and cut here and there- his right pant leg almost completely gone.
Venti's clothing looks to be slightly tattered and even having the cape part of his outfit being ripped and shredded while losing his barrette hat. Jean looks to be not entirely injured, but her clothing is practically almost about to fall apart. Diluc sighed and joked, "Seems like you lost a bit of your touch in battle." He said, causing Jean to shake her head and snort. "Desk job is hindering your skills?"
Jean sighed and closed her eyes while fixing up her hair, "I haven't gotten badly injured, so I say my skills aren't being hindered. But I admit I could've sensed that Abyss mage when we entered and prevented my current attire condition." She then looked at Diluc. "But nothing I can handle…you seemed to be doing alright." Even though she can sense Diluc used up a lot of Elemental energy during these fights and starting to tire out.
Diluc shrugged but nodded, "I can keep going, but I am starting to lose a lot of energy from using my skills." He said and looked at Aether and Venti. "You two seem like you need to rest up as well, being exhausted and using so much energy is not a good thing." He informed as Venti rolled his eyes.
"Hey just because I am using this body, doesn't mean you have to treat me as a kid." Venti joked out and was about to get up. "I can easily recover my-ACK!" Then hears a bone cracking on his back, sending him back down on his hands and knees, while resting his right hand against his back. "Owowowowow…okay, you got a point there…yeeesh that stung!"He chuckled out, earning some laughter from Aether and Jean.
"For an Archon, you can be quite the whiner huh?" Jean teased out and had Venti snickering and closing his eyes, while playfully opening and closing his mouth to mock her but all in good fun, as Jean then faces forward and looks at the area they were in and the lair they finally reached. "So…this is Stormterror;s lair huh?" She asked and had the others turn and face towards the large towering structure in the middle that is being surrounded and veiled with what looked to be powerful slow, but very condensed looking winds surrounding the tower that stands in the middle of the area.
The entire area was in disarray and looking to be run down and destroyed. Many different type of ruins and structures were what should've been temples or buildings of long ago. Are no longer there anymore, Some are even being overgrowth by nature, and some of them being buried or dug inside the mountain walls and towering mountains circling around the area. Hilichurls and monsters reside here and there throughout the location. Some even have camps here and there, or just carry out on their own.
But the one thing that makes this area incredible and most famous for being Stormterror's lair, was the tower in the center having blue like energy glowing from within. Shooting up into the skies, where one can barely make out what looks to be a couple magical seals within the tower. It was an impressive sight indeed, but from what they can see from their spot. They saw what looked to be three glowing wands or beacons spread out within the region having Diluc to stare at them and lifted a hand towards his chin and said. "Venti, does Dvallin usually have himself protected by beacon looking lights?"
Venti hummed as he got up from the bridge-like structure they were sitting on and began walking over towards Diluc, to see what he meant and stare out in the land and destroyed region. Noticing the beacons the red hair man was describing, having the Archon to hum and raise a hand to his chin, lowering his eyes halfway and humming out. "This is new to me…"" He said while looking towards the other beacon of lights. "Seems like the abyss has placed possible seals that will lead us to Dvallin's domain." He surmised while looking at Diluc, then turning to Aether and Jean who got up from their spot and approached the two of them.
The slightly blazing orange-lit skies beam down upon the region, being clouded and surrounded by thick swirling clouds- preventing not much light to the decaying region. Giving off illuminating dark blue glow and luminance to the region. The silent cries and sorrow of the winds blew throughout the region, telling a tragic story of what happened here and what transpired to these lands 500 years ago. Lost history and lost civilization that once lived here and possibly thrived as well. A tragic circumstance that no one knows of or why it happened, all one could think is that the terrible incident may be the work of Dvallin…or the GODS of Tevet taking solace on this region and wiping out those who dared defy them. Venti softened his expression and could hear Dvallin's cries in the distance, coming from the domain as he could sense the dragon being in pain and suffering.
Then Venti winced and held his head as he let out a low, "Ah…" then shook his head, getting the others to go stiff and ready to ask if he was alright. "I am fine…but we're running out of time." He suddenly said and then shook his head, "No doubt," then turned sideways and faced the beacon of light. "Those lights will prevent us from entering Dvallin's domain, so we better go and take care of those and rid the seal." Then he extended his right arm out and pointed towards the tower in the middle. "Then we have to make our way through there, get past the Veil wind barrier covering the tower." While he then turned back to the three. "But no worries, I know a safe route through the barrier that we can get through. Without the barrier blocking our way or pushing us out from the tower."
Jean hummed and looked towards the beacons, along with noticing a couple of the Abyss monsters here and there alongside Ruin guards patrolling the areas. "We will have to be very safe about this, splitting up is definitely not an option." She then points towards the northeastern part of the region and the Beacon. "We should probably take that one first, considering it looks like an arena? No doubt, the Abyss soldiers will be summoned and defend the beacon there. So, we probably should head there first and get rid of the threat."
Diluc nodded, "Then we should head towards the west Beacon next." He surmised while everyone faced the direction. "Each location also seems to have a waypoint too. I know Jean, you said we shouldn't split…but." Then smiled as she smiled back. "I believe one of us should go and activate the waypoints, while the other three go and take care of the nearby beacons." He suggested and had Venti grinning.
"Then I volunteer the Traveler to go and grab those waypoints."Venti suddenly said, having Aether turn towards him and widen his golden eyes. "Traveler, you have the most experience of exploration out of all of us. And considering you've also taken on Dvallin back at Mondstat. It is only natural that you should regain all your strength and stamina back, before the big fight."
"But…" Aether then paused and hummed, "what about you three? I can't have you risking your lives like that and have me regain all my strength just to fight Dvallin." He said and look at the three. "If we're going to save Dvallin, and possibly show we care for him. It will probably be best if we ALL support and help him out." He then laughed sheepishly, "Plus, how will I be able to even reach that strange purple crystal if he keeps moving and what not?"
Thishad the trio blinking their eyes and laughing softly at themselves and Venti widening his smile, "Ah very fair point and modest you are Traveler." Venti joked and then said, "It wouldn't be right that the Honorary knight works alone, while the Grandmaster and skilled Dark prince, and me the handsome bard. Go and do grunt work-" then shook his head "Nah that wouldn't indeed be fair that Aether will have to hold the responsibility to save Dvallin."
Jean nods, "Agreed, I would probably feel guilty knowing I am sending someone who hasn't been in the City for a long time and just got promoted to Honorary knight, to go and risk themselves like this out of the blue." Then closed her eyes and rested her right hand against her right chest. "Then we will do it together, we all came here holding responsibility to saving Dvallin and we will do it together."
Diluc just clicked his tongue and softly shook his head, "alright then. That is the plan- we better work fast." Then look back to the entrance of the region. "Who knows if the Abyss are using this opportunity to attack Mondstat while we are away."
Which had Jean nodding and looking at the entrance as well, "No doubt they are…but I have faith in our people to protect out city."
Venti nods, "Agreed…then let's not waste any more time. Let's get those beacons of light and enter Dvallin's domain. Once we rescue him, we immediately warp back to Mondstat and provide whatever assistance we can." And thus the four agreed upon the decision and began heading northeast of the region towards the first Beacon of light. Time was on the line as the cries of Dvallin's voice echoed in Venti's ears, and cries of a war going on back at Mondstat- with the Knights and people fighting against the invading Abyss soldiers.
Each side doing their part as this war to save the Wind dragon is meeting its apex. Can The traveler and company save Dvallin? Will Mondstat fall at the hands of the abyss soldiers? This crucial moment will decide everything and the fate of Mondstat together.
