Having Jean layout Sora and Eula's plan to head out to Wolvendom, along with meeting up with other Knights of Favonius being stationed there. The two decided to book it once they got outside of the building.

Eula wanting to hurry and make it to Wolvendom before any more heartless could appear, looked to Sora "We need to hurry. You're not familiar with the area so stay close."

Nodding his head in agreement, Sora replied "Got it. Let's go". The two immediately took off trying to avoid crashing into anything or anyone.

Eula was running at an impeccable rate, but Sora was right behind her not wanting to lose sight of her. The two quickly exited Mondstadt through the gate leaving the two guards bewildered at what had just happened. The two quickly got over the bridge connecting Mondstadt to the rest of the area and took a sharp right following the trail.

The blue-haired girl called out to Sora over her shoulder while continuing to sprint forwards, "We're coming close to a little area called Springvale. You'll see the windmills". Hearing what Eula had said, Sora began to see the windmills realizing he was in Springvale and would make a note of it later.

Continuing their sprint to Wolvendom, while Sora was still on Eula's tail, he could see Mondstadt across the water in the middle of the lake. While still in a sprint, Eula noticed something up ahead on the road and she immediately took notice of it since it was small and dark. Getting closer and a better look at the dark object she soon saw what appeared to be antennas on its head and bright yellow eyes.

Eula started to slow down until she was at a complete stop and looked towards the dark creature while also having a confused expression at what she was seeing. She curiously blurted out "Wait. That's a Heartless!"

Sora having caught up to Eula and was standing right next to her immediately noticed the dark creature's features. Eyes widening, Sora moved into an offensive stance summoning his Keyblade ready to go. He turned to look at Eula and quickly answered her question, "Scan the area. That's a Shadow Heartless. At its weakest form, they're not that hard to kill but can multiply quickly. We have to destroy it quick!"

Once Sora finished his short explanation, he took off in an instant rushing towards the shadow and aimed a Fire spell at the Shadow killing it instantly which left a pink crystalized heart to float for a second and then seem to float away. Eula was left bewildered at what she had just seen along with having many questions flood her head.

However, Sora started scanning the area once more and reeled his right arm back along with his weapon while getting into a fighting stance.

Eula had also noticed what type of weapon Sora was wielding and didn't know whether to scoff or become concerned with the giant key he was wielding. Sora turned to look at Eula while also being on the defensive and began to explain what was going on, "Eula, the Heartless can be defeated by anyone but only I can kill them for good. My weapon also acts as a sort of beacon. I'll keep my weapon out while attracting the Heartless since they'll target me leaving you a chance to take them out". Hearing every piece of advice Sora gave, Eula summoned her Claymore while also nodding, given that she understood Sora's strategy but still had questions for him later.

Sora turned his head back towards the trail and immediately saw more heartless starting to appear out of nowhere. Sora took note of the various forms of heartless that he saw and felt a headache coming since there was such a variety. He spotted several large bodies, a couple of emerald blues, some dire plants, a few storm bombs, and a bunch of shadows spread out.

Realizing that the storm bombs could lead to a problem with their wind vortexes tearing up trees and even possibly throwing them at the two, Sora immediately used his shotlock ability to target the storm bombs and went flying straight at the Heartless. While in mid-air, Sora had blue energy surround him and felt something was off. He immediately realized that his Flowmotion speed was slower than usual. Putting that thought to the side, Sora made contact with the storm bombs and landed a horizontal slash that hit any other heartless in the surrounding area.

Eula wasted no time and while Sora focused on the storm bombs, she made short work of the shadows and dire plants using her Cryo abilities to freeze the ground beneath the shadows' feet while shouting "I condemn you!". Eula then began swinging her claymore back and forth while moving her feet in a fluid movement very similar to a dance. Heaving her sword up and down, side to side while flowing with her entire body slashing at the Heartless. Eula then repositioned herself to be charging an attack and once she was done, she shouted out "Shutter!" while slashing at the shadows and dire plants with ice-encased around them while being knocked back.

Sora meanwhile was slashing at a storm bomb managing to land a flash step and overhead hit on the Heartless causing it to disappear. He then turned towards a large body and sidestepped the attack that was thrown at him from the heartless and dashed behind the large body slashing upwards leaving the large body in the air which allowed Sora to land multiple hits killing the heartless. two large bodies and shot multiple fire spells which did not do much damage but that wasn't the point.

Sora was aiming for the fire spells to hit the large bodies while also spreading to the ground so that he could pull off a bit of magic mixing. Sora scanned the area between the two large bodies and quickly cast a wind spell, managing to boost the spell while shouting "Wind!"

Once the Aeroga spell hit the large bodies, the fire around the two began to rise and swirl until it claimed both of the Heartless and a couple of shadows and emerald blues.

Noticing that Eula was making short work of the Heartless on her end, Sora quickly counted how many there were left and realized that he could finish them all off with a strong Thunder spell.

Wanting to finish this quickly, Sora called out to Eula "Eula! Push the heartless together! I'm going to finish this!"

Hearing Sora's words, Eula nodded and immediately started rushing towards a couple of shadows which were then thrown back by her claymore. A couple of emerald blues started moving at Sora which he blocked, and counter-attacked, sending the heartless back.

Seeing that most of the remaining Heartless were bunched up in a small radius Sora quickly channeled all of his available mana into this next spell hoping to finish the battle. Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Sora raised his keyblade into the air and shouted "Thunder!"

Once cast, the spell hit every heartless, stunning it for an instant before managing to kill every one of them leaving nothing but scarred grass.

The two fighters looked around the area trying to see if any more heartless would appear, but nothing popped out. Sora stretched himself out and started walking towards Eula who appeared to be in deep thought. On her part, Eula was very conflicted with what had just happened. Realizing that the Heartless would be more of a hassle to deal with compared to most of the monsters the Knights of Favonius had to deal with. Eula made a note to discuss the difficulty when dealing with the heartless. This brings another concern of Eula's to the forefront.

Sora.

She knew that the boy had done a job well done with dealing with the heartless and proved to have battle experience managing to do well on his own.

However, Eula did not know of anyone that was able to use not one, not two, but three different vision powers all so quickly. Sure, the traveler was someone who didn't have a vision and had managed to use Anemo, Electro, and Geo powers without having a vision, but Aether had mentioned before that he could only use one elemental vision power at a time when interacting with any nation's archon statue. Meaning that the traveler would need to be in contact with Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma's archon statues all at once to pull off his array of different elemental powers.

And yet, here was Sora who threw out Pyro, Anemo, and Electro powers with his large key sword and pulled off the magic that she had never seen before. Eula needed to keep a closer eye on Sora and make sure he wasn't a threat to the people of Mondstadt. She knew it was wrong to think ill of Sora, but she just had to make sure he wouldn't turn against her or anyone else given that he appeared to be a wildcard that showed up out of nowhere.

Consequently, while Eula was conflicted and had a hand on her chest, Sora was making his way towards her thinking about something relating to Eula. While the battle was going on, Sora had managed to get a glimpse of Eula fighting and was amazed. She seemed to be incorporating dance into her fighting style and moved with a grace Sora could watch all day. Another interesting thing about Eula was that she reminded him of his friend Aqua. Given that Aqua trained to become a keyblade master and her fighting style had merit as well as professionalism behind it. Sora compared the two blue-haired girls and realized that if the two were to ever meet they would have a lot to talk about. Not to mention, both girls were very beautiful which forced a blush to cover Sora's face to which he scratched his cheek wanting to push his thoughts to the side.

Hence, once Sora and Eula got close enough, Eula decided to address her concerns while focusing on making it to Wolvendom, "While I have many questions as to how you were able to use different elemental magic, I will have to ask them later. Right now, we need to hurry over to Wolvendom"

Sora, realizing that he would need to answer a lot of questions later on, merely shook his head and agreed with Eula asking where to go next. Eula pointed towards the trail but also noted that they would need to go off the trail to reach where the report had stated the main outbreak had occurred.

Wanting to make it to Wolvendom before anyone else comes into contact with the heartless was Sora's goal seeing that the people of this world would have a difficult time fighting the heartless for the first time. Eula began to sprint in the direction she pointed to which Sora immediately followed right behind her hoping that things would be alright.

Continuing in the direction that Eula beckoned him to follow, the Keyblade wielder was taking in his surroundings while preparing for the path that would lead him toward Wolvendom. He prepared himself mentally hoping things would be ok and nothing drastic would happen.

Boy was he wrong.

Meanwhile, up in the Northwest past Mondstadt, there was a tower of sorts. This location was known as Stormterror's Lair and seeing that the dragon Dvalin was not around the sound of silence seemed to cover the area.

However, the sound of something or someone walking began to take precedent claiming the once silent tower. It was then that someone in a large black coat that covered their entire body with black boots to match and a hood covering their face started to come into view.

The figure then started to stretch and take in their surroundings while laughing with a hint of mischief behind their tone of voice.

"Didn't think I'd ever come back here. Figured you would wake up in elsewhere. But it appears...something or someone brought you here. Oh well, we have some time to spare before we're needed back. Let's see how you make a name for yourself in Teyvat, Sora."
