Alright, here's the next chapter for you guys, let's see where this goes. To keep up on updates and stuff, I was thinking of starting a discord for my stories. Let me know if anyone is interested and I may consider starting one. I'll basically post updates on how my works coming along, and you guys can ask questions or pester me for updates, to get me back to work. Sorry this took so long by the way, I got real sick with an infection for a few weeks, so that was fun. Gone now though, and hopefully I never have to endure that again. Anyway, hope you enjoy.
Warning: This chapter is dark and ruthless. the signs should make it obvious what's coming.
Darkness Reborn
Chapter 27: Broken Wizards, Dragons, and Lions
-Meereen-
The sun was beginning to set on the city of Meereen, both figuratively and literally. Fire's blazed all throughout the city as Valyrian soldiers slaughtered every man in their path.
Men were cut down wherever they were found, often times being dragged out in the street, and executed before their families. Women and children were gathered up and separated, placed in chains and prepared for transport back to Arcem Ossa. By the time the sacking of the city was completed, all of Meereen would be empty. The city itself would stand as a monument as to what happens to those who stand against the forces of darkness.
Throughout it all, Daenerys and Missandei were forced to watch. From high up in the Great Pyramid the two could do nothing but stare out over the expanse of the city and watch and listen as it was destroyed. They were kept under guard by several wights, who bore the appearance of Unsullied, and much like their living counterparts, the handful of undead soldiers, said absolutely nothing, leaving the two women in silence so that they could take in the slaughter happening below.
Elsewhere in the pyramid, Sauron was returning after having dealt with major holdouts within the city. As he was passing through the halls, he caught sight of a row of women, held on their knees being bound in chains. One of these women stood out to him. He paused before the cowering form of Genna Lannister.
"Lady Genna." He greeted with a devilish smirk.
She stared up at him with obvious terror, no sign of the dignified noblewoman that had once been the sister of Tywin Lannister.
"Have this one taken to my other prizes. It's time she return to Westeros, to join with her family." Sauron instructed his men.
"Yes, of course." He received in response as he headed away, towards the Main Hall.
He arrived to find Dathrag and Saruman waiting for him. The captured Rómestámo still held unconscious and under watch by Saruman.
"The city has fallen, it wont be long now before all quiets, and it is left as nothing more than an empty shell." Sauron stated.
"Yes. Our attack here will serve as a warning to the rest of Slaver's Bay. Let the new masters of Yunkai, and Astapor know what will befall them, if they choose to stand against us." Dathrag agreed.
"Aside from those I've specially collected, everyone else in this city will be taken to Arcem Ossa." Sauron instructed.
"Is there anything particular the Master wishes for them?" Dathrag questioned.
"Have the children raised to serve her. Those with magical talent will be uplifted and taught the ways of spellcraft and sorcery. The rest of the children will be assigned to areas that best suite their temperaments. The boys that are the meanest and strongest, you train as soldiers, the weakest and most cowardly, you either send to the mines, or offer them as prizes for those worthy. They can be made into slaves, servants, or even meals, if they lack any other worth. For the girls, have them watched for those that show particular intelligence, or cunning. Those that do, can be trained as spies, assassins, and infiltrators, the rest can be used as breeding stock when they come of age. Use the older women to help raise and look after the children, just make sure they are watched closely for any signs of treachery or disloyalty. For those women that are of breeding age, split them into categories, those that can serve as prizes, those that are fit as breeders, and those that are fit only as flesh to be worked with, and experimented on. All those who distinguished themselves today are to be offered a reward. Either they can pilfer whatever riches they desire from this city, or they may lay claim to one of our captives, so long as that captive doesn't possess magical potential." Sauron answered with cool detachment, and the barest hint of cruelty.
"A harsh fate. None will question the terror of the forces of Dread Lord after this." Saruman noted.
"Indeed. When we march on Essos in its entirety, I want the seeds of terror to have already been sown. It increases the odds of some of our enemies attempting to side with us. After things are settled here in Meereen, leave a small contingent behind to repair the port and guard the city, we can use this area as a landing ground for our attacks in the area. For now, this dead city will remain dead, but in the coming months, Morgoth and I shall return here, and we will draw upon the darkness that has long sullied this city. For now, keep it secure. Aside from that, I will finish with my final tasks, and then return to her with news of our victory here." Sauron responded to Saruman before turning his attention to Dathrag.
"I eagerly await the order for our attack. My forces have finally been blooded, now we turn our eyes to the rest of this continent." Dathrag responded.
"Yes, keep that energy, our attack will begin soon. Once we have secured Westeros, and ensured our dominion over those lands, we'll turn our eyes towards Essos, and begin planning our opening strike. For now, see to Meereen, and send word to Astapor and Yunkai, the heads of the Unsullied should serve as message enough to help them understand our might." Sauron agreed, earning a dark chuckle from the Balrog in response.
Sauron motioned for Saruman to follow him, leaving the unconscious Rómestámo for Dathrag to keep an eye on. Sauron had one final bit of work to do here before heading back to Westeros, and that was to deal with Daenerys remaining dragons.
Down into the underbelly of the pyramid the two went until arriving at a half opened door. A dozen corpses were displayed around the door, Unsullied who had rushed down here during the attack, most likely to try and free the dragons, unfortunately they only managed to open the door, when they were overwhelmed and slaughtered by wights.
Sauron and Saruman stepped over their bodies and passed through the open doorway. The two descended into darkness.
Low growls filled the blackness of the chamber as the two advanced. Finally the two came to a halt just as one of the two dragons let out a shriek and belched out a wall of fire at the ceiling illuminating the darkness and revealing the two vicious predators.
Saruman watched Sauron with trepidation, wondering how the Dark Lord intended to tame these beast.
Sauron stared up at them for a long moment before taking a step forward and speaking.
From his mouth came a voice that sounded like serpent's hiss. Saruman could tell that he was speaking a language but it was unlike any language he had ever heard.
The two dragon's reared back upon hearing it, almost seemingly startled.
It quickly dawned on Saruman that the beasts could understand what Sauron was saying as they both leaned down, and watched him with a critical and vicious gaze.
The hissing voice of the dark lord sent shivers up Saruman's spine. It was a dark language, that much he could tell, and yet it was unlike the Black Speech, despite appearing harsh and cruel, it lacked the roughness of the Black Speech. The two dragons seemed mesmerized by the Dark Lord's words. Both listening intently as he spoke to them.
After several long moments, the two shared a glance between each other and let out low bellows. Sauron offered them a smirk, and with a wave of his hand, the collars around their necks came undone, and the two dragons were freed. Sauron then loosed a spell at a far wall, blasting it apart, and allowing the light of the evening to fill the chamber. Both dragons let out a shriek and began stalking towards the exit.
Sauron turned and began to walk back towards the stairs, Saruman following by his side.
"The Language you just heard was that of Parseltongue, the language of Serpents. It is an ancient language, one that predates even the forming of Arda." Sauron answered Saruman's unasked question.
Saruman did not need to follow that up with a question of how. Sauron had always been unique among the Maiar. He had walked out of the void, and joined them. What or who he was before coming to them, was a mystery. It did not surprise the White Wizard that Sauron had access to magics, and knowledge that was completely foreign to Ea. It did however, interest him to learn about such things.
"All serpents know this language?" Saruman inquired.
"Yes. It is a magical tongue. One born of their very being. All serpents be they dragons, snakes, lizards, or wyrms, all understand and recognize Parseltongue. And they recognize those who can speak it, as Speakers. Speakers are held in high regard by the serpents of the world, and can form powerful bonds with serpents through the use of Parseltongue. While Parseltongue is a language and can be learned by other magical beings, usually it is only passed on through breeding. As a magical language it can come to one through their parentage. Most Parseltongues do not teach others the language, relying on it passing on to their offspring instead. It is a language of power after all. One born of powerful and ancient magic." Sauron answered as the two exited the chamber.
"Powers from a time before you walked amongst us?" Saruman inquired.
"Yes, powers older than even I." Sauron answered with a smirk.
"What was it like, my lord, the place you lived in before you came to us?" Saruman asked with genuine curiosity.
"It was old, and spent. The world I came from, the world I grew up in, had long passed it's prime. Chaos was consuming it, and war had taken it's toll. By the machinations and manipulations of one man, that world finally fell. It tore itself apart, and he delivered the death nail." Sauron answered with a faraway look which quickly colored with anger.
"Forgive me, my lord, and perhaps I speak out of turn but I find it curious that you walk away from one ruined world, only to aid in the destruction of another. I understand now that things have changed, but it seemed in those early days that Morgoth's wrath would burn away all in her path." Saruman made note.
"A fair observation. The full answer would take much time and effort to explain, so for now let us just settle on a part of it. In those early days, I would have happily aided Morgoth in the ruination of the world. Though it wasn't exactly what I wanted, it would have still left me satisfied. The reason for that, is because I sought revenge against the one responsible for the death of my world, and the end of everything I held dear. I knew your creator before he became what he is now. In the early years, I was content to aid Morgoth in the ruination of his creation. Now though, that her mind is returned to her, and her desires as well, we will take his creation, and reforge it, before his very eyes. All that he holds dear will be unmade, and in our own image, a new world will be created." Sauron answered with a vicious glint in his eyes.
Saruman paused at that, taking in this information. Knowledge that Sauron had known of Eru Ilúvatar before even the forming of Ea, was shocking to say the least.
"What do you mean, 'now that her mind is returned to her'?" Saruman questioned, taking note of the way Sauron had worded that.
"I wasn't the only one who walked in that dying world. Let's just say our ladyship has as much reason as I do, to hate your creator, and leave it at that, for now." Sauron responded with a gleam in his eyes.
Saruman nodded at that, allowing the conversation to drop, and taking the time to mull over over what he'd learned.
"Go, collect Rómestámo, and meet me in the council chambers. I'll go and gather the rest of our prizes and prepare a port-key for our return journey." Sauron instructed, earning a nod from his accomplice.
Sauron quickly had all of his prizes gathered together, leaving instructions with Umbra to guide the undead Drogon, along with Rhaegal and Viserion back to King's Landing.
Ser Jaime was still under the control of the Imperious Curse, and Sauron had worked out a deal with the mercenary, Ser Bronn. Genna, Tommen, Cersei, Barristan, Yara, Missandei, and Daenerys were all gathered together, with Saruman bringing up Rómestámo a short while later.
They were all sat at the meeting table, and while they waited, Cersei attempted to get Jaime's attention, but he paid her no mind, standing as a sentry, without another thought or care.
"What have you done to him?" Cersei demanded, when her twin and lover, wouldn't even look at her.
"I simply reminded him of his oaths, and of who the rightful king was." Sauron responded, as Saruman entered with Rómestámo being carried behind him by a troop of uruks.
"What is to become of us now?" Daenerys questioned, leveling a murderous glare at him.
Sauron smiled back at her, cruelly.
"It's time you returned home, Queen Daenerys. You and all of your fellows will be joining me on our trip back to King's Landing. There, your fates will be revealed." Sauron responded to her, then with a motion her hands were forced onto the table. He then strolled around the table forcing each of their captives to place their hands onto the table. The unconscious Rómestámo was simply leaned forward in his chair so that he was touching the table as well. Once everyone was touching it, Sauron directed Bronn to do so as well, as well as Jaime. Then he and Saruman did the same. With a smirk, Sauron spoke the activation phrase, and the table, which had been turned into a portkey, activated.
-King's Landing-
Screams of fear and panic filled the air as they were pulled across the world.
With a thud, the group landed out in the front courtyard of the Red Keep. Much to the surprise of surrounding guards and workers.
Sauron chuckled and rolled his shoulders. He then circled over to Rómestámo, and with a wave of his hand, awoke the unconscious wizard. He then grabbed him and hauled him to his feet.
Some guards began to approach when they noticed the king.
"These two are alright, gather the rest, and bring them to the Throne Room." Aegon commanded his men.
Daenerys and her companions were still recovering from their disbelief at what had just happened when they were roughly grabbed and forced to their feet.
Their hands were bound, if they weren't already, and they were forced to follow after the Dark Lord, who was half-dragging Rómestámo into the Red Keep.
"What just happened?" Daenerys muttered in confusion.
"I don't believe it." Barristan muttered as he gazed up at the looming castle.
"Ser Barristan?" Dany questioned.
"It's the Red Keep, this is King's Landing… how…?" Barristan uttered in disbelief.
"Magic, Ser Barristan. The answer is magic." Saruman stated drawing their attention to him.
"Come, we shan't keep her waiting." Saruman ordered, motioning towards the entrance to the Keep.
Daenerys, and her allies were forced to follow after Sauron, guarded by a troop of men and uruks. Bronn, glanced around in confusion and disbelief, but followed behind, while Jaime continued onward, unfazed, and stoic.
They caught up to the Dark Lord who was holding Rómestámo by the throat, as the wizard attempted to struggle out of his grasp.
A hellish curse sprung forth from Sauron's lips, causing Rómestámo to let out a shriek of pain, and nearly collapse.
Once the wizard had been cowed Sauron continued dragging him until they made it into the Throne Room.
A number of people were present in throne room, namely Aegon's chief advisers, and a number of lords and ladies, all whom had been summoned by Lilith when she sensed Aegon's return. It was early morning in King's Landing, so humans were beginning to rise when many of the creatures of darkness began to return to the shadows.
Lilith sat perched upon the Iron Throne, her position commanding incredible authority, and power.
The moment she spotted Sauron she rose to her feet and began to descend from the throne.
As soon as Sauron cleared the room, he tossed Rómestámo forward onto the steps, the old man collapsed with a struggled gasp, and tried to pull himself up.
He caught sight of bare, pale feet standing before him, and raised his gaze.
Lilith stood over him, and the moment he laid eyes on her, he began to lose all color.
"Hello, Pallando. It's so nice to finally meet you." Lilith greeted with a hellish smirk.
Rómestámo stared up at him for several long moments, as fear and panic began to flood his features.
"… Its… it's you…" The Blue Wizard muttered in terror.
"Yes, it's me." Lilith responded, her eyes blazing like a raging inferno.
"The wizard has been laid low. His threat now ended, my love. Regrettably, he has already filled the mind of my dearest aunt with his vile poison." Aegon stated to Lilith, and then allowed his voice to raise so that the crowd could hear him. Many of those present knew the reason behind Aegon's disappearance these last few days, and many began to notice the silver haired woman who was brought forth, along with several other prisoners.
Whispers quickly spread, as people realized who she was, and some even began to recognize Ser Barristan and the former Queen Cersei as well.
The moment she spotted the former queen, Sansa's eyes darkened, and a sneer began to form on her face. Arya grinned at the sight of the fallen Lannisters, hoping that today she'd get to see another person on her list, properly punished. Robb, and Benjen scanned the group of captives, taking note of each of them, taking particular notice of Jaime Lannister, who stood unbound and unchained, almost as if guarding the other prisoners.
"This man, this wizard, has filled the mind of my Aunt Daenerys, with lies and deceits. He has turned her against us. Made her believe me to be vile and wicked." Aegon declared, his words finally reaching Daenerys ears.
"You are! You're a liar! He's not who claims to be! He's the dark lord! He's a sorcerer, a shapeshifter! He's stolen the face of my nephew!" Daenerys shouted back, her eyes flickering around the room. Whispers continued as her panic grew. She knew what he was trying to do, he was trying to discredit her right out of the gate, make her appear mad. Surely though these people could see it, surely, they had already seen enough of his cruelty and evil to know that she was telling the truth.
"Queen Daenerys. Beloved by her people as the Breaker of Chains. A woman who risked life and limb to free the slaves of Slaver's Bay. Yet now, her mind has been twisted. So much so that she would willingly break Guest Rights. I went to meet with her, to try and gain her allegiance. She promised me safety while I was there. She swore that no harm would come to me during our meeting, yet on my final day, as I was set to leave, she had her men assault me. Tried to have this blue wizard cast some sort of spell on me. His lies have twisted her, and her followers. Even the noble Ser Barristan Selmy, my aunt's Queensguard…" Aegon said to them, his gaze filled with sadness, before anger rose in it once more as he turned his gaze to Rómestámo.
"No, he's lying, he's manipulating you all!" Daenerys countered, as she began to take in the looks from those around her. She knew none of these people, yet she could see the disgust and dismissal in their eyes. None of them believed her, none of them could see the truth. The Dark Lord had manipulated them all.
"Silence Daenerys!" Rómestámo hissed as he stared up at Lilith, with terror in his eyes.
His words drew Dany's gaze to him, she blinked several times, unable to understand why he would command such a thing.
"Rómestámo…" She began.
"I said be silent. Accept your death with dignity, do not give them a reason, to further torture you. I was so wrong… so very wrong…" Rómestámo instructed as Lilith stared down at him a cruel smile, as her eyes smoldered with hellish malice.
Many took notice of the wizard's words, and of the way he cowered in absolute terror of the Queen of Westeros.
Daenerys also took notice of this. It was not Sauron the Blue Wizard cowered before, but this woman. She was the one that caused him to tremble.
"Saruman! You know what she is! How could you?!" Rómestámo asked, unable to tear his eyes away from Lilith.
"There is no stopping, what is to come. All of the kingdoms of this world, and ours, shall fall before them. I have chosen order, over chaos. I have chosen the future, over the past. You would be wise, to do the same, my old friend. The Lords of Darkness shall suffer no rival. Stand with us, Rómestámo, and aid in the ordering the world. Refuse, and your suffering will know no equal." Saruman answered coldly, causing Lilith's smirk to grow.
"Yes, Pallando. Swear your allegiance to me, to Sauron, and rise as a champion of the Dark. Refuse, and I will break you, over and over and over again. I will rip, and tear at the very foundation of your soul until nothing but a savage beast remains. And when you are nothing but a monster, I will cage you, and bind you to my service, and you will slaughter those you once held so dear, in my name. Swear yourself, to me… or refuse. Make your choice, Blue Wizard." Lilith spoke down to him, her voice soft, yet carrying out over the entire room. The cruelty within it, frightened all, and seemingly caused the light that peaked through the high window behind the throne to dim. All of the creatures of darkness in the room, felt their power swell as the Queen's aura grew. Even the Starks felt their werewolf blood boiling in their veins, churning to be released.
"She said it! You all heard her. She called him Sauron." Barristan called out, turning Sauron's gaze to him. Sauron offered the old knight a smirk before gazing around the room.
"It is true, I have taken the name Sauron. Bestowed upon me by Lilith, and the orcs, and all other servants of her army. It is the name of her Chief Lieutenant. Sauron may have once been a living being, but now he is more of a symbol. He was the right hand of the Queen of Fire, Shadow, and Winter, long ago. And now I stand in such a position. So, my lady Lilith has granted me that title, the name of her greatest servant, and ally. I am Sauron, I am Aegon, I am Jon. I am the Dragonwolf. Each name, a title, befitting the role I must play. Let the orcs call me Sauron, let men call me Aegon, let my family call me Jon, in the end, I am all of these things, and more." Aegon declared, as he gazed around the room, meeting the eyes of his lieutenants, and allies, earning nods of understanding and agreement from them.
"No, that's wrong. Rómestámo told us what Sauron was, what you are!" Daenerys fired back.
"He told you lies. Sauron, the old Sauron is gone. Slain during the War of the Last Alliance, thousands of years ago. The Sauron you see before you, is the inheritor of his spirit, his will, and his undying allegiance, to our cause. That man, who served me long, and loyally, passed from this life so very long ago. This man, that I have taken as my husband, is all the things that Sauron was, and so much more. He is worthy of such a title, and all that comes with it. It may not mean much to you all, here in Westeros, but in the lands, I originally come from, the name Sauron has great meaning. As much meaning as the name Aegon does to you. If it helps though, history may remember this man as Sauron the second of his name." Lilith responded, raising her gaze for a mere moment before returning it to Rómestámo.
"How are you here?" Rómestámo asked.
"Through strength and will. Through might, and magic. I survive, no matter the cost. You have this one chance to join us, to stand with us, and bring order to every world, set before us. Accept the offer, for it will not come again." Lilith commanded.
"I will not. I will not bow before you, vile demon. I will not kowtow to the darkness. Kill me, mutilate me, torture me, it will not matter in the end. I will not break. No matter what you do to me, I will never turn from the light of Valinor, or the one true god." Rómestámo responded with defiance.
"God of Arda, perhaps. But not here. Not this place. There is only one power here, and that is darkness. Let us see how long you last, Pallando. I will see to you, personally, and… one of my oldest comrades, has volunteered to oversee your imprisonment. Isn't that right, Gothmog?" Lilith turned her gaze back towards the throne as the shadowy figure of the Balrog approached.
If possible, Rómestámo paled further as the Lord of the Balrogs reached the Blue Wizard and seized him by the throat.
Hellish curses spilled out from Gothmog's mouth, the Valarin tongue causing shivers to pass through every mortal being present.
Gothmog then turned, dragging the Blue Wizard away, taking him out of the chamber and towards the dungeons, where his torture would begin.
Many watched as the enemy of their Queen was taken away, only dragged back to the conversation when Aegon approached Maester Aemon and spoke with him.
"Have no fear uncle, I promised I would try and help her, and I will. I'll undo whatever spell this wizard has placed on her, whatever lies he's filled her head with. I wont rest until it is done. My lady Lilith, I'm certain with your help, we can free my aunt, and her followers from this delusion." Aegon addressed his fellow Targaryen, who stared on in sadness, and took in a quiet breath.
"Yes, I will offer whatever assistance is needed. This traitor's deceptions will be unmade. I will see to it, personally." Lilith responded as her gaze passed over the exotic and beautiful Targaryen woman.
Daenerys was about to respond when she caught Lilith's gaze and froze in fright. She felt a rush of heat burn through her body, in a fashion similar to the effects she had felt when encountering the servants of the Dread Lord, the first time. It lasted only for a brief moment, but it was enough to halt her in place.
"It truly is a tragedy, were it not for Queen Lilith's army in the east, I may not be standing here now. Regardless, the threat of Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons has been ended. In the days to come, we will see to it the one responsible for twisting my aunt in such a way is punished for it. As some of you may have noticed, while I was in Meereen I found where our wayward Lannisters have run off to, as well as certain other." Aegon addressed the crowd, drawing attention to the collection of prisoners.
"Firstly, Yara Greyjoy." Aegon addressed, Yara was dragged forward, and Aegon gestured towards where Euron stood with some of his fellow Ironborn lords. A cruel smile was beginning to spread across his face as Yara was pulled over to him, thrashing and cursing as she went.
"Your wayward niece, Lord Euron. I offer her to you. She was found in the service of my aunt in the east. Her fleet was destroyed by my dragon, as were her allies. She is all that remains of those who betrayed you. I leave her in your hands." Aegon said to him.
"My thanks, King Aegon. We will mourn the passing of our errant brethren, too blinded by lies, and ideals to see the truth of things. My niece will be properly punished for her hand in this, rebellion. Take her to my ship." Euron instructed some of his men, who approached and took her from the King's men, and dragged her away.
"Now, the Lannisters. First, Ser Jaime. When I was attacked by the Blue wizard, I managed to deflect whatever spell he was trying to place me under, and it struck Ser Jaime. Here you see the effects. He has become completely docile, and open to any and all commands. I ordered him to fight for me, when I saw this, and he did, he freed me without a second's hesitation, attacked his fellows without a thought to his own safety. To imagine what would have happened, had the wizard's plot worked. Let me show you, Ser Jaime, step forward." Aegon explained to his fellow. From there he gave the former Kingsguard several orders, basic and simple instructions that he followed without hesitation, or emotion. He had him step forward, hop on one foot, drop his sword and twirl it about, sit on the floor, lay on his back, sing a song, get back up, spin in place three times.
Each instruction earned further chatter from the crowd, and many could scarcely imagine the horror of such a spell. Being reduced to little more than a puppet. The idea that their king had nearly fallen into such a trap terrified many. The idea that Aegon could have returned under this sort of spell, filled many with weariness and contempt for the Blue Wizard that had been dragged away.
During this demonstration Daenerys tried to speak out, as did Ser Barristan, to proclaim that it was all a lie, that Sauron had been the one to do this, but when both tried to speak their mouths would not open. Lilith smiled down at them, her gaze causing all heat to flee their body, or in Daenerys case, her blood to boil almost painfully in her veins.
"I will seek to undo whatever spell has befallen Ser Jaime. No matter his crimes, no one deserves such an existence. Only once he is freed from this spell, will I take the time to judge him for his actions. To do so now would be no better than to judge a stump, or a plank of wood." Aegon declared, ordering Jaime to step back, and away from his fellows. Then Aegon turned towards the rest of his captives, which included Tommen, Genna, Cersei, Daenerys, Missandei, and Barristan.
"Lord Orepheus, what do you believe should be done with your former kin?" Aegon questioned, turning his gaze back to the throne. Standing beside it, was the vampire lord. He took several steps forward, earning the attention of the room, and a cruel smile from Lilith.
"F-father?" Cersei muttered in disbelief as she stared up into the cold, blood-red eyes of her father.
"Gods, Tywin." Lady Genna gasped.
Orepheus scanned the collection of prisoners, his eyes settling on Cersei, and then Genna, before moving on to Tommen, and then Jaime. With his enhanced sight, he could tell almost instantly, that Jaime was under some sort of dark spell. Magic flowed around him, holding him in the Dark Lord's grasp. He didn't doubt for a moment, that it was Annatar who had placed Jaime under this spell.
After a few moments, the vampire spoke. "Your Grace, I do believe the wisest course of action would be to use them for the value their name provides. The Lannister name still holds weight in the Westerlands, and the boy Tommen could prove valuable in stabilizing the kingdom. I would have him sent to a loyal bannerman to be raised in whatever manner you feel best, and keep his mother and sister here as hostages. As for Lady Genna, she could serve as another hostage, or be sent with the boy to look after him, whichever you feel is best. And finally, for Ser Jaime, well that would depend on if he can be cured of his affliction or not."
Whispers broke out amongst the crowd, as people took in the former lord of the Westerlands' words. It was a logical suggestion, though many were undecided as to its source. Was it truly just because of how logical it was or was this Tywin Lannister trying to protect the remainder of his family.
"Yes, Tommen would prove valuable in securing the loyalty and stability of the Westerlands, especially with his mother and sister here in the capital. Your suggestion does have merit… Lord Edmure." Aegon agreed, turning his gaze to the Lord of the Riverlands, who stepped forward.
"Your grace." Edmure Tully replied.
"In the time that I have known you, I have seen a man of commitment, loyalty, and honor. Deep wounds exist between house Lannister and House Tully, wounds not easily healed. I ask you now, would you be willing to set aside the wounds of the past and raise young Tommen as a ward of house Tully, until he comes of age and maturity to assume his lordship." Aegon asked.
"It would be my honor your grace. I will do everything in my power to ensure the boy is raised well and is ready to bare the weight of his responsibilities in the future." Edmure agreed.
"Then, Tommen Baratheon… here and now you can ensure the safety of your family. Bend the knee to me, swear fealty to House Targaryen, and in exchange, I will spare the lives of your mother, sister, uncle, and great aunt. You will be placed under the guardianship of Lord Edmure Tully, lord of the Riverlands. You will go with him to Riverrun and live there until the time comes to assume your lordship. When that day arrives, you will rule the Westerlands, and you will rule them well. I will even agree with Lord Orepheus' suggestion of sending Lady Genna with you, to assist you in learning what it means to be ruler of the Westerlands, and of all the great and noble houses therein. Lady Genna, will join you as a hostage of House Tully, while your mother, sister, and uncle remain here, as hostages of the crown. Agree to my demands, and I will allow them to write to you, whenever they desire, and you may visit them, whenever you come to the capitol. Do you agree to this?" Aegon made his offer to the former prince of Westeros.
Tommen stared up at Aegon, and felt his mother's tearful eyes boring into him. Out of the corner of his eyes he could see his sister as well. A sister he hadn't seen since his uncle Tyrion had sent her away. He knew little about what was truly going on, as he wasn't party to the deeper discussion held by Daenerys and her allies. All he knew was what he had overhead from others. Things about magic, sorcery, shape shifting. All things that made little sense to him.
What he knew for certain was that this man held his fate, and the fate of his family, in his hands. Aegon was offering a chance to spare the lives of his mother, sister, uncle and great-aunt. If he agreed, then he would be lord of the Westerlands and his family would be safe, even if they were hostages. What would be their fate if he refused? Tommen knew he had no bargaining power here. He had nothing to offer that could change Aegon's mind. If he refused, then he'd probably end up in a cell, and his sister would be sold off to some lord who would in turn, rule the Westerlands. It was either him or her, refusing would bring only pain and suffering.
Even if his mother didn't like it, or would refuse it, the king was promising her safety, and Myrcella's as well. He had seen the monstrous fury of King Aegon's armies, and wanted no part of their wrath again. So, as steadily as he could he responded.
"I accept your offer, King Aegon. I swear by the old gods and the new, to serve faithfully, and loyally." Tommen swore to the king.
"Good, then upon his departure to Riverrun, you and lady Genna will journey with Lord Edmure. When the time is right for you to assume your role, you will journey here to King's Landing and swear fealty to the crown, affirming the oaths of house Lannister once more. So long as I hear good things from Lord Edmure, I will hold true to my word. No harm will befall your sister, mother, or uncle, in regards to past crimes. They will be punished for any future crimes, but so long as you serve faithfully, and well, I swear to their safety. As to their fates, for now they will all remain in the capitol. One day, when a dutiful and loyal husband is found for your sister she will be allowed to leave this place. Your uncle will be monitored as we search for a means to undo whatever magic has him enthralled. Your mother will serve the Queen as a handmaiden, as I promised her safety. There are many who would happily see her life cut short for the part she played in the death of Eddard Stark, and the suffering of my cousin Sansa. Living the life of those she has lorded over all her life, should satisfy their need for vengeance, and ensure your mother is as safe as can be. She may even learn an ounce of humility before age or sickness take her." Aegon declared, earning a smirk from Lilith, and a cruel smile from Sansa and Arya, both would have been happy to see the former queen executed or thrown in a cell, but forcing her to bow and scrape, like a servant, sounded so much more satisfying.
All Tommen could do was nod in acceptance of that. Unable to expect anything better.
"Yes, your Grace." Tommen replied with a quiet bow of the head.
"Good, see the Lannisters to their new chambers. See Queen Daenerys, her handmaiden, and Ser Barristan to the cells. Until they are freed from the Blue Wizard's manipulations, I will not risk them attempting to escape, or cause harm to others. Ser Bronn, for your assistance in capturing Cersei and Tommen Lannister, I promised you riches, and a job, if you are willing. I understand that you served as commander of the City Watch for a short time before distinguishing yourself in the Battle of the Blackwater. If willing I will return your position to you." Aegon finally turned his attention to the mercenary turned guard commander, turned knight.
Bronn looked thoughtful for a moment, as if mulling over the idea before nodding. "I'd say that sounds just fine."
"Happy to hear. Thank you all for coming here, but now I must see to personal matters." Aegon offered his fellows as he approached Lilith.
As she was dragged away, Daenerys tried to cry out his crimes to those around her. To tell them what he had done to Meereen, surely that would have been enough to convince them, but she still found herself unable to open her mouth. She couldn't speak, no matter how hard she tried.
Aegon and Lilith soon departed from the chamber, venturing down into the Black Cells, where Rómestámo was being chained to a wall, his clothing stripped from him, as the Lord of Balrog's prepared him for Lilith's tender mercies.
"Need any help with this one?" Aegon offered.
"Mayhaps. You do have a long history with this one. I'm sure you have some retribution to exact from him." Lilith responded with a smirk.
"Tempting, I must say. But I think I will let you have first go. My rage towards this errant foe is too great, and I would hate to accidentally destroy him, before he could be broken." Aegon admitted after a moment of thought.
"Ah, so be it. I will simply have to regale you tails of his suffering when next we meet. Remind me to tell you of what I've been up to while you were gone. It is about time we dealt with the faith of the Seven." Lilith responded, entering the cell as she did, leaving Aegon behind, with Saruman and Tauriel who'd followed them.
Aegon nodded at that, and motioned for Saruman to join him. As they headed away, they left Tauriel standing guard over the cell, listening with tear filled eyes as one of the Istari was horrifically tortured by the Great Darkness, and the Lord of Balrogs.
As they made it higher in the dungeons, Aegon paused and turned to Saruman.
"You did well in Meereen, my Lord Saruman. You ensured that our enemy moved exactly as we needed them to. Thanks to that, our plans went off without any issues." Aegon offered to his ally.
"I thank you, your Grace. I am eager to prove my abilities, and what I am capable of." Saruman admitted.
"And I am eager to see it. I believe it's time you were allowed some practical experience in what you've learned from Lilith and I." Aegon stated, earning a curious look from Saruman.
"My lord?" Saruman responded.
"Soon, my forces in Mordor will begin their attack on the Gondorians. The time has come to push them out of Mordor and reclaim that land. All men, who call Mordor their home will either submit to my rule, be enslaved or destroyed. The attack will begin in a few short months. We will strike at the major forts and fortresses held by Gondor, including the Black Gate. In the time between now and then, I would set you loose on Núrn, the fertile lands in southern Mordor. Many tribes of low men reside there. Different peoples, different customs, all separate, all… alone. They will be easy targets to destroy once our attacks begin, but their presence, their position, and their isolation provides you with an incredible opportunity. Go to Núrn, approach the tribes of men there, and use what we have taught you. Practice your methods of control, and manipulation. Test your abilities. These people will be washed away shortly, so any of your actions there will go unnoticed by the forces of the West, allowing you to experiment, and practice. Use these low men, as test subjects, find what works best for you. What is ultimately done with them is of no great concern to me. Whether you manipulate them to serve us, or simply destabilize them so that they're even easier pickings when the time comes, it makes no difference. But I want you to use this opportunity to practice, plot, plan, without Lilith or I directly overseeing. If we are to trust you to stand amongst us as a leader, then you must prove that you have what it takes to devise your own methods. So, go back through the portal, test your abilities against the tribes of Núrn. When the time is right, and you hear of the attack on the Black Gates, return to Barad-Dûr, and regale us with tales of your plots and plans. There are many followers within our ranks, but you have the opportunity to lead, so prove that you have the mind for it, and the skills to turn the hearts of men." Aegon instructed, earning a nod from Saruman, as a cruel smirk began to appear on his face.
The tribes of Núrn would provide no great challenge, and yet they were perfect to use as test subjects. The various tribes had little love for one another, and conflict was ripe between them. This meant that Saruman could walk amongst each individual tribe and test out different ideas, different methods, and even plans. He was essentially given free reign to decide the fate of these tribes. If he could force them to submit, than it would prove his abilities in one capacity, if he could destabilize them, making it even easier to destroy them, it would prove his capabilities in another way. Despite the minor nature of this task, it was an opportunity to show his worth, and his abilities.
It was a way to show the lords of Darkness what he was capable of, without their guidance so that when the attack on Middle-Earth began, or when they invaded Essos, they could unleash him, without the need to guide his every move and action.
"I look forward to this opportunity my lord. I will ensure the tribes of Núrn, are ready to fall." Saruman offered in responded.
"Good. A port-key will be made for you to return to Tantibus Arcis. From there you can make your way back to Mordor, and then to Núrn. Her ladyship and I look forward to hearing of your endeavors upon your return." Aegon informed him, earning a nod of acceptance as the two continued on out of the dungeons.
For most of the day, and into the night, Lilith remained in the Black Cells torturing Rómestámo.
Aegon went about checking on King's Landing, and then he turned his attention towards Daenerys.
It was close to midday when he appeared outside of her cell. While being kept in the dungeons, she, along with Ser Barristan, and her handmaiden Missandei, were kept in some of the nicer cells closer to the top level. Sunlight peaked in from above, and they were far from the worst cells to be found in the Red Keep. When he appeared, she leveled a hateful glare at him.
"It was unwise to side with the wizard, Daenerys." Aegon said to her.
"You may have these people fooled, but know the truth. I will not bow before you. I will not serve you. You are not my blood!" She snarled at him.
"Oh, but I am. While Rómestámo was right about some things, he was wrong about others. I am, Sauron. But I am also Aegon Targaryen. I was born into this body, from the womb of Lyanna Stark. My father is Rhaegar Targaryen. By blood, I am your nephew. Even if my spirit is that of something much, much older." He replied with a smile.
Daenerys glared at him for several long moments before approaching the bars. She gripped them tightly as she focused her amethyst gaze on him.
"What do you want, Sauron?" Daenerys growled at him.
"The world. From east to west, from north to south. I want it all. Westeros is mine, so Essos shall fall, and then Sothoryos, and the Ulthos, and any other lands that exist in this world. Then… I'll find a new world, and do it all over again. When the time is right, I'll return to Arda, to the place Rómestámo is from, and I'll claim that too. For myself, and my ladyship." Aegon responded.
"And what is to become of us?" Barristan asked from his cell behind Aegon.
"Well you, I'm not sure, Ser Barristan. If I could convince you to serve me, then I would not turn away your abilities. However, since the queen you are sworn to still lives, I doubt you will do so. Instead, I think you will call for a trial by combat, in order to earn your freedom, and I will kill you." Aegon responded, glancing back at the old knight.
"You think it so easy…" Barristan responded with a challenging smirk.
"Easy? No, not at all. Make no mistake Ser Barristan, I have great respect for a knight of your quality. But you are old, and your skills are waning. And if I feel that you have a chance at victory, I will simply fight you myself, and add the prestige of defeating one of the greatest knights alive, to my name. I would prefer you serve me, but defeating you will be just as bountiful a reward." Aegon answered.
"Then why not place me under some sort of spell, like you did Ser Jaime? Why not do that then, if you desire my skills?" Barristan questioned.
"Spells can be broken, magic can fade, or be disrupted. I prefer that my servants choose to serve me willingly. Winning their hearts, is of far greater value to me, then dominating their minds with magic. Ser Jaime will be freed, from my control, or this life, is yet to be seen, but he will be freed." Aegon admitted.
"What is it you intend to do to my queen?" Barristan questioned.
"Well that depends… will you agree to serve me, Daenerys? If you agree, and swear allegiance, then I will release you, and your handmaiden, even Ser Barristan as well. You will have a degree of autonomy and will work to advance my goals. If you refuse, then your fate will be far worse." Aegon returned his gaze to Daenerys, who stared back with visible hatred.
"You burned my city, and killed my people. You murdered one of my children, and then brought his body back as your puppet, I will never forgive you for that!" She snapped at him with burning hatred in her eyes.
"As I expected. You and your handmaiden will be made to serve as handmaidens to my Queen Lilith. You will serve her every need. You will live only by her desires, and your lives will only be extinguished upon her will. She will torment you; she will twist you, she will tear you down until you are broken. You chose this path Daenerys. You chose to stand against us. I'm giving you the chance to survive, to save yourself, and your friends. Believe of me what you will, I don't care if you hate me. I will do all in my power to secure my position and ensure my rule is uncontested. Swear your allegiance to me, and you will be free. Swear your allegiance to me, and you will have the chance to rebuild your life, and possibly climb back to the heights you once sat at. If you refuse, then I will give you to Lilith, and my Queen will make you a plaything. She will break your will, and bend your mind to her services, and one day, you'll be nothing more than another body to warm our bed, and mother future generations of Targaryens." The Dark Lord said to her, his gaze was heavy, and full of dark passion, though he spoke with a tired voice, as if the mere idea of having to harm her further was one that annoyed him.
Daenerys felt her blood run cold at that, but in a moment of rueful defiance she responded, "Rape me as much as you wish, you will never get a child from me. No true dragon will be born to you, monster!"
Aegon raised an eyebrow at that, and peered into her mind to see the reasoning behind her words. She meant it literally. According to the witch who healed and broke her husband in Khal Drogo, she would never have another child.
"It is not what I want, it is simply your fate, if you continue on this path. And as for the witch's words..." Aegon let out a noise, and shot forward, seizing her through the bars, and holding Daenerys in place.
He heard both Missandei and Barristan cry out upon seeing this but neither could come to Daenerys' aid.
Daenerys felt her blood churn within her flesh, her blood boiled beneath her skin, making her want to scream out in pain. With one hand, Aegon held the back of her neck, and with the other, he reached through the bars, and placed it over her pelvis.
Daenerys let out a cry of pain as she felt something flood into her nether regions. Like a burning aura, she felt it, passing into her depths, even into her womb, where once the life of her precious Rhaego resided.
After a few moments of analyzing her body, Aegon released her, and let out a rueful chuckle.
"You are not the first to bare this affliction, Daenerys Targaryen, but you'll find that the children that came to you next, will have a far easier time surviving than your beloved Rhaego." Aegon said to her as she collapsed to the ground and stared up at him in disbelief. Wondering what he had just done, and how he knew of Rhaego.
"You are valuable to me, Daenerys, and you are family, but with the information I learned from Lord Varys, I now know that there is another, who can fulfill your role. I no longer need you to fulfill my plans in the East. Without such a purpose and knowing that I cannot simply keep you locked up forever, my only other option is to give you to Lilith. A sign to all those who would stand against me, that even blood will be punished if it resists my will or stands against me. Resist, if you wish, all you're doing is condemning your friends to death and suffering. Soon, your last protector will be dead, and you will be reduced to nothing more than flesh, existing only to fulfill the wants and desires of my Queen. You will serve us, Daenerys. Your house was always meant to serve the dark. The House of the Dragon survived due to my designs, it prospered due to my aid, and now, it will repay me, for all that I've given to it. Maester Aemon is loyal to me, and one day will serve as a great sorcerer, with wisdom beyond all others. You have the chance to stand beside him and learn the ways of magic and sorcery. If you continue to refuse, then you will serve as nothing more than flesh and blood, the lowest of the living Targaryens. Existing only to serve the needs of my beloved Lilith. And dearest Rhaenys she'll fulfill your role and make an excellent queen." Aegon expressed to her with growing anger and resentment, almost making it seem like she was hurting him, hurting her family by walking this path.
"Rhaenys? What do you mean? Rhaenys is dead." Barristan demanded.
"No, the princess lives, according to the Spider. Before I had him executed, Lord Varys told me of a secret plot. How little princess Rhaenys was smuggled out of the capitol and lives on to this day. At her side is a Blackfyre, masquerading as her brother Aegon, and at their backs, is the Golden Company. Very soon, I will go and retrieve her. I will kill this Blackfyre pretender and bring the Golden Company to heel. Princess Rhaenys will come home, and with her Rhoynish and Valyrian blood, she'll make the perfect Queen to handle the ruling of Essos, a role I would have offered to you, originally. Had you not betrayed me, had you not tried to attack me, I would have made you my wife, Daenerys. Instead, you will be my wife's slave. I will return later, and when I do, I will ask you once more. One day, the offers will end Daenerys. It may not be tomorrow, or the day after, but one day, and then... My dearest Lilith will be overjoyed to add two more beauties from which to choose from. The exotic and experienced Targaryen, the exotic innocent Naathi, or the beautiful and very experienced Lannister. From one, to four. She'll find it positively exciting." Aegon responded, staring down at Daenerys who's eyes widened in disbelief.
Barristan stood, mouth hanging open as Aegon chuckled darkly, and turned to head off. Now that he had Daenerys' answer, he had to go and make new collars for her, Missandei, and Cersei.
A short while later, Aegon found himself alone in his room, working his magic to create the new collars for Lilith's new toys. He worked quietly and diligently when suddenly he felt hands slide over his shoulders.
A smirk spread across his face as Lilith leaned down and rested her chin atop his head.
"What are you working on?" She inquired.
He responded by holding up one of the completed collars.
"Ah, so your Aunt refused to see reason?" Lilith noted.
"For now. I did give her plenty to think about, so perhaps she will change her mind before the collar goes on." Aegon replied with a dark chuckle.
"Well regardless, you succeeded in your primary objective. Pallando is now ours. I've left him in the tender care of Gothmog for now." Lilith said to him.
"Yes. Meereen has fallen, it's now in our hands. I've ordered Saruman to return to Mordor, and deal with the mannish tribes in Núrn, give him the opportunity to test his abilities, and deal with a minor problem of ours, before we begin our attack. The ritual to summon and bind Celebrimbor, is almost ready. Maybe a month or two and then we'll be ready. Meereen itself is awash with darkness and death, we have a few weeks while the corpses rot in the streets, to decide if we want to call upon all of that death and suffering for some grand ritual." Aegon informed her.
"I think we should. Why waste it." Lilith responded.
"Agreed, any ideas?" Aegon asked.
"I'll think of something. Thank you for the new presents, by the way. The Lannister woman is quite the beauty, and I think Sansa will enjoy watching her suffer." Lilith kissed him on the cheek, earning a smirk from Aegon.
"I thought you might. You always did have a thing for blondes. If Daenerys doesn't change her tune by tomorrow, then she and her little servant, will be joining Cersei. If that happens, I'll place Ser Barristan under the Imperious Curse and have him demand a trial by combat to fight for his queen. Then I can get rid of him. A skilled warrior he may be, but he's far to virtuous, and loyal to trust with Daenerys held captive. What have you been up to?" Aegon inquired.
"Working up a plan to deal with the faith of the Seven. I placed our resident Septum under my control, and ordered him to gather others to his cause in secret. He'll organize followers for an attack in a week or so. I was thinking about having him kidnap Margaery, by attacking us while we're down in the city tending to the dredges of society. We then rally House Tyrell and march on the Sept of Baelor, using it as justification to remove the faithful from King's Landing and demonize in the eyes of those who now look to us as saviors." Lilith explained her plan, earning a nod from Aegon as he took it in.
"Sounds good to me. If I think of anything that may help with such an idea, I'll let you know, but for now, I'll leave this in your capable hands. Any plans for Pallando?" Aegon asked, leaning back against her as her hands rose from his shoulders and began to run through his hair.
"Yes, a plan is forming. I will peel away this old body if his, and lay bare his soul. I will then fill it with malice and hellish intent until he's fully consumed by his own rage and anger. Perhaps I will make him into some sort of beast. An animal that responds only to my word and my will." Lilith replied, her voice becoming sensual, as she massaged his scalp.
"Sansa and the Starks will be leaving us here in the next few days. You should focus on getting closer to Margaery Tyrell while we wait for them to finish preparations for yours and Sansa's wedding." Lilith suggested after a moment.
"I'll do just that. You should know, when we go north, and I wed myself to that girl, I plan on us having a small private ceremony of our own. It'll be quiet, something only the Starks will know of, but marrying you before the Old Gods, will show the North, that my roots remain intact, and it'll give me a reason to dote on you some more before having to call another my wife." Aegon expressed to her, earning a smile from Lilith as she kissed the top of his head.
"And your marriage to Margaery?" Lilith inquired.
"Not more than a fortnight after I return. I'll marry her before I head back to Mordor and deal with Celebrimbor. Also, there's something you should know, something I intend to investigate that may alter our plans in the East." Aegon stated, rising to his feet and turning to face her.
"What is it?" Lilith inquired as she stepped up next to him, and leaned back against his desk, an action he mimicked.
"Lord Varys, the former spymaster for Joffrey, Robert, and Aerys, told me a secret before I had him executed. He told me that my sister and brother had been smuggled to safety in Essos, and that the two children that died here were false. My brother Aegon, died during the journey, but Rhaenys survived. Aegon was replaced by a Blackfyre, I believe, and is going by the name Young Griff. He is planning on using the Golden Company to attack Westeros and retake the throne, or at least, he was. What'll happen now that we've taken the throne, I have no idea, but Rhaenys is out there. Her Dragon blood will be even stronger than Daenerys. In fact, it'll be as strong as the dragon blood I was born with. The ultimate culmination of the Targaryen bloodline, she just lacks the Stark blood to get exactly what I wanted. Daenerys is one step back, her dragon blood is nearly as strong as ours, but still lacking. Still though, you saw the way Daenerys reacted to your presence, when your gaze passed over her, and she felt your power, her blood burned in her veins. The same effect doesn't occur in Maester Aemon, due to how far away from this generation he is. Daenerys experiences it though, as will Rhaenys even more so. The power of darkness is suited for those with dragon blood." Aegon explained to her, earning a thoughtful look from Lilith as she pondered what this could mean.
"What bearing will this have on the offspring we produce with them?" Lilith questioned after a moment.
"Well in Rhaenys case, they'll be more attuned to our powers, than the children born to other mothers. In fact, Rhaenys' offspring, may just be second to our own, when it comes to their alignment with fire and darkness. As for Daenerys, well I learned today that she's afflicted with the same ailment that has cropped up in past generations of Targaryen women. A few members of the family, in the past, gave birth the dragon-like stillbirths. Mutated half-breeds that are a result of the chimeric nature of the Targaryens. In her case, her children will be monstrous, and we'll have to make sure they have access to enough magic to reach their moment of birth. She'll require greater care, and her children will be draconic crossbreeds." Aegon answered her question, earning further reflection from Lilith.
"Interesting. So she was unlikely to be valuable as a queen regardless, if she can only bare crossbreeds? We don't even know how intelligent they'll be, or what powers they'll possess. I guess it was good that she's chosen to resist us. Makes the choice much easier. What'll we do about Rhaenys?" Lilith asked.
"Tomorrow, I will inform the Martells, and knowing Prince Oberyn, he'll immediately sail for Essos to try and find her. I will dispatch him with the mission, telling her and 'Aegon', to come home, that the Golden Company may come to Westeros, and lay claim to the lordless lands in the Stormlands, and Westerlands. With any luck, they will agree to this, and we can get rid of this other Aegon, at our leisure." Aegon responded to her.
"Good. Then tonight, I will enjoy my newest toy, and upon the morrow, we'll begin working towards our goals. Also, you should know, while you were gone, I received word that Ser Arthur was ready to awaken, they were just awaiting final commands." Lilith said to him, stepping away from the table and striding forward.
"Good. I will have my avatar go to him under the guise of Annatar and have him brought here. It is time for the improved Sword of the Morning, to make his return." Aegon expressed.
"Does that mean I get to enjoy that woman you spoke to me about as well?" Lilith inquired, teasingly.
"Perhaps. Ashara Dayne was an incredible beauty, one I'm sure you would have loved. She kind of looked like you, actually. Her hair, reminded me a lot of yours. She killed herself after her brother's death, but I had her body taken to Tantibus Arcis by the Nazgûl. She will awaken along with her brother, and be brought south with him. Then we'll see if we cannot win her over. Through her we can produce a child that will one day be worthy of Dawn. Arthur was modified while he slept, changed and made stronger, and Ashara was changed as well. Any child she had now will be greater than normal, but if she were to bare a child from us, it would be a fighter unlike anything the Seven Kingdoms has ever seen." Aegon said to her, earning smirk from Lilith.
"All this baby-talk is getting me excited. How much longer do I have to wait to taste my present?" Lilith inquired, her tone sultry as she gently trailed her fingers along her chest before cupping a hand at her breast.
Aegon blinked at her for a moment before turning to grab one of the finished collars. He then quickly headed for the door, stopping for a moment to kiss her deeply, groping her ass with need, before separating.
"I'll be right back." He said to her, earning a grin.
Aegon quickly departed the room, passing by Tauriel who stood as a sentry just outside. She watched him pass when she felt a shiver run up her spine as arms encircled her, cupping at her breasts as she was pulled backwards into the room.
Tauriel was turned roughly, and Lilith's lips smashed into hers. The two kissed as they crossed the room, Tauriel undoing her belt as they moved towards the bed.
Aside from the belt around her pitch black gown, that held the two daggers Tauriel carried with her at all times, she wore only padded shoes that were comfortable to wear for long walks, but would stay on if she needed to run in them.
Once her belt and daggers were off, her dress was lifted, the back coming up over her butt, leaving it bare for the cool air, and Lilith to assault.
Lilith greedily fondled Tauriel's ass as they made it to the bed, Lilith falling back on it, dragging her elven slave with her, as they continued to kiss.
Tauriel hovered over Lilith continuing to kiss her. With one hand she supported herself on the bed, and with the other, she began tracing at her master's legs, guiding her dress upwards, until it rose to her pelvis. Tauriel then began to massage Lilith's clit, teasing it, as Lilith pulled away from the kiss, and stared up at her, her eyes alight with sexual desire.
Tauriel continued to massage Lilith's nub as the two locked eyes. Lilith's gaze was as predatory as it always was, and Tauriel felt as if she was falling as she locked eyes with the greatest evil, her people had ever known.
Tauriel broke eye contact first, her gaze dropping to Lilith's chest. She quickly laid on her side, began pulling Lilith's dress down to get at her breasts, hiding her failure to keep her master's gaze behind desire and need.
Lilith smirked and grabbed at the edges of her dress, pulling it up over her head, leaving her completely naked. Tauriel immediately lowered and began kissing at Lilith's breasts, earning a purr of delight from the Dark Lady.
In a sudden move, Lilith pulled Tauriel up from her breasts, and locked eyes with her again. She then grabbed the edges of her slave's dress and pulled them up over her head, stripping her completely.
Once naked, she pulled Tauriel back into a kiss, pulling their bodies together as well. Tauriel felt her breasts press against Lilith's own, as Lilith's hands dug deep into her hair, pinning her into the kiss.
Her hand was unable to reach Lilith's cunt any longer so she pressed one of her legs between Lilith's, allowing her master to grind her pussy against Tauriel's thigh, if she desired.
Lilith began doing so, breaking away from the kiss, and pulling Tauriel to her neck. As she felt Tauriel's lips peck at her flesh to let out a groan and spoke for the first time.
"You'll be getting a new companion tonight. A new plaything to keep my precious mól on her toes. As of this moment, Tauriel, you are now the first, among my slaves…" Lilith groaned out as Tauriel continued kissing her. At hearing her words, Tauriel paused, and when she did, Lilith roughly pulled her back, locking eyes with her. "I don't know what to expect from this new slave, but I like you, so… if you wish to keep you'll have to ensure she knows her place. You will be the First among equals, do not disappoint me."
"Yes master, I wont disappoint you." Tauriel responded, nervousness touching at her voice as she wondered which of the Dark Lord's captives would be joining her as one of Lilith's pleasure slaves.
Only time would tell, and she was unable to ponder it as Lilith pulled her back into a passionate kiss, their tongue intertwining as the Dark Lady ground her wet cunt against Tauriel's leg.
While they prepared for the night ahead, Aegon knocked on Sansa's door.
"Yes?" Sansa inquired as she answered, her face lighting up when she saw him.
"Busy?" Aegon asked with a charming smile.
"No, not at all. Come in." Sansa offered to him, opening the door for him.
He stepped inside and she closed the door behind him. The two faced one another, and she quickly smiled and stepped up to him, kissing him lovingly as she reached him.
"I'm sorry your meeting with your aunt didn't go well. I hope you're alright." She said to him as they separated.
"Thank you, Sansa, and I'm alright." He replied, reaching up to trace her face, running his finger along her cheek before taking her chin, his thumb brushing at her lips, causing them to part as she gazed up at him with need.
"Did you and Lilith have fun while I was gone?" Aegon asked as he began guiding her back, maneuvering her until her back him a nearby wall.
"Yes, her grace has… quite the appetite for fun…" Sansa replied, knowing exactly what Aegon meant by 'fun'.
Aegon smiled at that, as he stared her down, his gaze predatory, that hand on her face beginning to trail down to her breasts, while the other, rested on her hip, playing at the fabric as she stared at her.
"Sansa?" Aegon inquired as he began caressing her breasts, through the fabric of her dress and small clothes.
"Yes?" Sansa asked, her breath beginning to quicken, the hand on his hip beginning to slide towards her legs.
Sansa didn't need to be told what to do, she leaned against the wall and lowered herself a bit, opening her legs as she did. This was a dance she was more familiar with, when it came to Lilith, who had, a few times already, cornered Sansa, pushed into a darkened corner, or hallway, and fingered her while standing, covering her mouth, often times with her own. It never failed to excite the Northern wolf, especially when the possibility of being caught existed.
"Cersei Lannister, she's being made into Lilith's handmaiden, much like Tauriel. Though unlike Tauriel who agreed to this station as a captive of war, Cersei is a prisoner, and has no choice. Tonight, Lilith and I are going to rape her." Aegon said to her, his tone simple and straightforward.
Sansa blinked at that, momentarily broken from her growing lust. Her surprise must have shown on her face because Aegon let out a snort of amusement.
"I didn't want to dance around it with flowery words. No, we're simply going to violate her until we're satisfied, and if Lilith is pleased, we'll continue to do so." Aegon explained to her, earning a slow nod from Sansa, who was still very conscious of the fact that he was groping her breast and massaging her cunt both through her clothes.
"I understand. Why are you telling me though?" Sansa asked, unable to formulate another question.
"Two reasons. One was so that you understand what she's doing there the next time you join us in bed. The other, was so that you understood fully what I meant when I asked if you'd like to join us tonight?" Aegon answered.
"You'll do it tonight?" Sansa asked, taking in a sharp breath as Aegon pressed harder into the fabric of her dress, her wetness spreading between her legs in response.
"Lilith isn't one for waiting. I swore I would not harm her for past crimes, and I'll hold true to my word. So instead, I'll humiliate her. I'll fuck her like the whore she is now, and leave her passed out in a pool of mine and Lilith's cum. Tonight will be the hardest night for her. She'll scream, and beg, and cry. I know how much you hate her, and if you wish to be there for it, Tauriel will be free to please you while we break Cersei in. If you wish to help, I'm certain Lilith will be more than happy to oblige. Otherwise, perhaps the next time you join us, and see her, she'll already be broken, not the woman you know. I guess ultimately, what I'm asking, is if you want to help, or watch, the woman you hate, fall into depravity?" Aegon expressed to her.
Sansa, now understanding what he was offering, didn't have to consider it for a moment. A fire burned in her eyes, and her inner wolf howled with ferocity and righteous fury.
"I don't know if I can help, I don't know if that's in me. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but I want to be there to see it. I want to see her cry, I want to hear her scream. I want to see her dragged down lower than a common whore, to be nothing but a few used up holes." Sansa growled in response as she pressed herself against his hands, her need growing as carnal lust was fueled by hatred and rage.
"Than let us not waste time, my love." Aegon responded, pulling away from her and taking her hand.
Sansa was quickly beside him, her pace quick as they headed towards the dungeons to retrieve the former Queen.
Cersei sat alone in her cell, staring out at the cloudy sky outside of her cell window. Every few moments she broke into tears, as she wondered as to the fate of her children, and Jaime. Sometimes she thought of her father, or what looked to be her father. Something had been done to him, something monstrous, that she couldn't guess at.
It filled her with terror whenever it crossed her mind, and she felt cold chills run across her body. Her thoughts turned back to her children, wondering if they were safe, if the Dragonwolf would keep to his words and not harm them. Her son, her precious baby, raised by Edmure Tully, the thought alone made her sick to her stomach.
Before she could dwell on it for too long, the cell door opened and in walked Aegon, followed closely by Sansa Stark.
Aegon's gaze was vile, but it was the look on Sansa's face that truly frightened Cersei. It was bestial, and vengeful. Cersei rose to her feet, and felt her body go rigid.
She opened her mouth to speak, but before any sound came out, Aegon closed the distance and clasped a collar around her neck.
Aegon then stepped back, and with a wave of his hand, her dress tore from her body.
Despite her cruel intent, Sansa blinked in surprise and blushed, when presented with Cersei naked form. Despite the grime and dirt, that still lingered on her body, from her run through Meereen, Cersei Lannister was a startlingly beautiful woman. Even despite being in her thirties, she was still gorgeous.
Cersei's eyes went wide in disbelief as she felt the air wash over her naked flesh.
Aegon stood there for a moment, admiring her form, before waving his hand for a second time, causing all of the dirt and filth on her body to vanish. Cersei felt something wash over her skin, like nothing she'd ever felt before. It lasted only a brief instant but when it passed. She felt clean, or at least, her skin felt clean.
With a final hand gesture, whatever force was holding Cersei in place, released her, and she fell to the ground.
Aegon stood over her, and Sansa soon stepped up to his side.
Cersei pulled in on herself as she looked up at them, pulling her legs together to hide her cunt, and covering her chest with her hands.
"You promised, no harm would come to me for past crimes." Cersei spoke, surprise flashed across her face as she found her voice returned to her.
"I did. And you wont be harmed. I don't intend to hurt you, I'm just going to fuck you. I haven't had any complaints about my manhood but even so, with how much you've gotten around, I doubt this'll hurt even a little." Aegon responded, glancing at Sansa who smirked cruelly.
"Even with your size, I pretty sure you wouldn't even need to spit on it, to get it in without any pain." Sansa added, earning a chuckle from Aegon as he pulled her into his side, his arm resting across her back, his hand on her hip.
Cersei caught the action, taking note of it's intimacy. There words stung at her, all but directly calling her a loose whore, she tried to glare at them, but something about them terrified her. She still remembered clear as day, how Sansa had changed into a wolf. Her opinion of the Stark girl had changed so much since that day. She knew now to be afraid of her.
"Well, best not keep Lilith waiting. And you, my love, are positively aching, aren't you?" Aegon inquired, grinning at Sansa, whom blushed at his words and smiled, demurely.
"You wish to take her there like this?" Sansa asked smirking down at Cersei.
"It would be no less than she deserved, but no. She is to be the Queen's handmaiden, and thus will reflect upon Lilith. We shan't show her any undo treatment, lest we appear as savages." Aegon responded with a chuckle before motioning towards Cersei's torn off dress. It rose off the ground, and rushed at her.
Cersei let out a scream of fear as her dress wrapped around her. She fell onto her back, panicking as the dress encircled her and darkened. It changed from a regal dress, to a pure black gown, that did almost nothing to hide her modesty.
After a few moments, it settled, leaving Cersei staring at the ceiling of her cell in disbelief and fear.
"The collar upon your neck is a magical one. It will enforce our will. If you refuse any command your master gives you, or if you even think a treacherous thought, well, this will happen." Aegon explained, and at his last words, a sharp pain stabbed into Cersei's neck, causing her to shriek in pain.
It lasted less than a breath of a moment, but it was powerful and painful.
"Now, onto to your feet, your master is waiting." Aegon said to her.
Cersei sat there for a moment, recovering from the pain. After a few moments, she felt the pain in her neck return. It was much lighter than before, more like a burning itch, but it quickly intensified, causing greater pain.
She quickly tried to sit up, and as she did, the pain vanished.
"Follow all commands, and you shall not be harmed." Aegon said to her.
Cersei felt the pain start to return, so she immediately shot to her feet, causing the pain to retreat.
"Come, Cersei. It is time you met your new master." Aegon reached his hand out to her.
Slowly, timidly, she took his hand.
Cersei walked opposite of Sansa up out of the dungeons. They made their way to the royal chambers, Cersei's dread growing with each passing moment, even as a vile and traitorous part of her, felt wetness begin to spread at her loins. The Dragonwolf was handsome, and his queen was a beauty. Being fucked by them wasn't the worst thing in the world. Even if the idea that it was going to be against her will, soured the whole notion and turned it vile, her body couldn't help it's excitement, and Cersei knew that in a few moments, she'd be naked again, and they'd see how excited her treacherous body was, and she'd never live it down.
A million thoughts passed through the former Queen's mind, and every thought of fleeing, or diving out a window to her death, was met by a stab of burning pain into her neck. It happened every time, without fail, and it filled her with a terrified dread.
They arrived at the King's and Queen's chambers, entered to the sound of raunchy love-making.
Two women were bed, one lying upon her back, the other sitting up. The one on her back, had her leg up over the other's shoulder as they ground their pussies together, and moaned aloud.
Aegon shut the doors behind them, and took Sansa by the hand, guiding her over to the bed.
They stepped up behind Lilith who'd yet to notice their entrance as she ground against Tauriel.
Their moans grew in octave, causing Aegon to smirk. He then wrapped an arm around Lilith pulling her off of Tauriel and causing her to let out a surprised yelp.
"Go and break in your new toy, Sansa wants a good show." He growled into her ear, earning a purr from Lilith as he set her on her feet, facing Cersei.
The two locked eyes as Lilith began to approach her newest slave, meanwhile, Aegon quickly began lowering his pants, to free his already erect cock.
Tauriel stared up at him, and opened her legs wide to receive him. She was already massaging her clit keeping her close to her release, when he pushed into her.
Sansa smiled down at the two as Aegon quickly pushed Tauriel over the edge, causing her to cry out in pleasure, she then turned her gaze over to Lilith, who'd reached Cersei.
"Hello Cersei, my name is Lilith. In these chambers you will call me master. Out there, your grace, or my queen." Lilith instructed.
Cersei stared at her for a moment, before gasping out in pain. Whatever thought had just entered her head, was obviously one of defiance.
Lilith glanced over her shoulder at Sansa who was watching the scene unfold with great interest, Lilith smirked at her, and mouthed 'take off your clothes'.
Sansa blushed at that, but began doing so.
While she undressed, Lilith turned back to Cersei. She then approached her and grabbed her by the back of her neck.
Cersei let out a cry of surprise as Lilith half-dragged, half-walked her across the room. As she did, Lilith vanished Cersei gown with a wave of her hand, causing her gown and her shoes to simply vanish.
She pulled Cersei over to Aegon's desk, a large, thick, cock growing from just above her clit, as she did.
Cersei was pushed over the desk, as Lilith mounted her. Her eyes went wide, as she felt something push into her folds, and fill her depths to their literal limits. Cersei gasped in disbelief as Lilith leaned over her taking a handful of Cersei's blonde hair and using it to pull her back and closer.
Lilith than leaned down and whispered into Cersei's ears. "You're mine now. You hurt and abused my precious Sansa. She's mine and Aegon's. I can't allow that to go unpunished. And… Cersei… make no mistake, if you displease me, if you don't get me off, if you don't leave me satisfied, I'm going to go down the hall, and drag that beautiful little girl of yours out of her bath, and fuck her till the mere thought of me, causes her to orgasm."
Cersei shuddered at the threat, and felt tears fall from her eyes. After a few moments of Lilith hovering over her, threateningly, Lilith leaned up, and took Cersei's hips in her hands. She began thrusting into her, and a few seconds later, Cersei began bouncing back.
By now, Sansa was completely naked, and Aegon had also finished undressing, Tauriel having recovered from her orgasm as well. Lilith glanced over at the three, and then motioned towards Aegon's desk chair.
Aegon smirked and climbed off the bed, taking Sansa's hand as he went. Tauriel followed behind them, waiting for instruction.
Aegon slid his chair back, giving him ample view of the show. Once in the chair, he pulled Sansa onto his lap.
She quickly fell in line, leaning back against him and directing his cock into her waiting cunt. She shuddered as he entered into her depths, filling her in a way she loved.
"See how easy that was. It's her strongest skill." Aegon noted, earning a smirk from Sansa as she rose and fell on his cock.
The two continued to watch, as Lilith roughly broke in her newest toy. Cersei moaned and cried out as she was taken. At one point, Lilith pulled out, and forced Cersei onto her back, she then reentered her, took her by the neck, and kissed her hard.
Everyone heard as Cersei gasped and groaned in orgasm, as Lilith pounded into her, and held her lips at bay with her own.
Sansa couldn't tear her eyes off the sight as she continued to bounce on Aegon's member, all the while he rubbed at her clit with one hand, and fondled her breast with the other.
She didn't slow down, as she reached her peak, cumming around the same time that Lilith did, wetness erupting around Aegon's cock, while Lilith filled Cercei's depths with her seed.
Lilith groaned in satisfaction as she pulled away from her freshly fucked servant. She then glanced over at Sansa and Aegon, taking in Sansa's orgasm as she continued to rise and fall.
With a smirk, Lilith pulled Cersei to her feet, gesturing to Aegon as she dragged Cersei over to them.
Matching his sister's smirk, Aegon pulled his cock free from Sansa's cunt, just as Cersei was forced to her knees in front of them. Lilith pressed Cersei's face towards his member, forcing it into her mouth.
Cersei groaned and cried and choked as his penis pressed deeply into her throat. She was then pulled back, and forced down on it again.
The sounds of her choking and gagging, drew Sansa out of her lustful haze and she stared down at Cersei, knelt between their legs.
It only took a few moments, for Aegon to reach his peak, and when he did, Lilith pulled Cersei back, and quickly jerked Aegon to completion directing all of his seed to coat Cersei's tearful face.
A few seconds after the final rope of splashed against her, Lilith pushed her face into Sansa's cunt, earning surprise from Sansa, who tensed for a moment, but then she felt Cersei's tongue invading her depths.
It took her a few moments to realize that Cersei actually knew what she was doing, in fact, she seemed to know it quite well.
"Looks like she understands the assignment." Lilith noted, teasingly.
"You truly are just a whore." Sansa let out, anger flashing in her eyes. With a growl, she then pushed herself against Cersei's face, and grabbed a fistful on her blonde locks, gripping them tightly and earning a sharp whimper from the former Queen.
Lilith and Aegon shared a look with one another, both smirking devilishly as they watch Sansa's nervousness fade, and her hatred towards Cersei bubble up to the surface.
Suddenly, Lilith pulled Cersei away from Sansa and leaned close to the werewolf, kissing her roughly and then whispering something to her. Sansa's eyes burned with a fiery passion as Lilith pulled her to her feet, she then grabbed Cersei and guided her over to the bed. Once there, Cersei was pushed onto her back, and Lilith pushed her cock back into her pussy.
Sansa meanwhile, climbed on top of Cersei and straddled her face, glaring down at her, as she pressed her cunt back to Cersei's mouth.
Within a few seconds, Cersei returned to eating out her former captive, only stopping to occasionally moan out in pleasure from Lilith's assault.
While that went on, Aegon took Tauriel. The two watched from the side, Tauriel leaning forward on the bed, while Aegon fucked her.
They continued for a few hours, not offering Cersei much in the way of rest. Lilith and Sansa spent most of the late afternoon with the former queen, fucking her to repeated orgasm. By the time they had finished with her, Cersei was passed out on the floor, next to the bed, though the two continued for another half-hour, Sansa riding Lilith's cock, until the two fell asleep in each others arms. It was obvious that any hesitation that Sansa had assisting in the act of breaking down her former tormentor, quickly evaporated.
Lilith loved seeing her beautiful werewolf so excited and aroused. Sansa could be so timid at times, but when she really let loose, Lilith found her positively exciting to be with.
The following morning they were cleaned, and bathed, and Cersei was settled into her new role, following Lilith about to tend to her needs. The constant grunts of pain, signaled to Aegon and Lilith that she was being punished for her thoughts, but neither chose to intervene, instead allowing conditioning to take hold.
Early the next day, Aegon called for his advisers, along with the Martells. Lilith sat beside him in the small council chambers, Tauriel and Cersei standing behind her. Cersei was unable to meet anyone's gaze, especially Sansa's when she entered alongside Robb and Benjen.
"Thank you all for coming, I know it's early but after a bit of contemplation I've decided to act on information I received in Meereen. Prince Doran, Prince Oberyn, Princess Arianne, while in Meereen, I spoke with Lord Varys, the former Master of Whispers. Before his death, he told me that he was a Targaryen loyalist, and sought a return of Targaryen leadership. He and several allies planned for two contingencies, one was with Daenerys and Viserys, the other would be with my brother Aegon, and Rhaenys. He claims that both children were smuggled out of King's Landing before the sacking, and sent to Essos. Aegon did not survive, but Rhaenys did." Aegon explained to them all, focusing his attention on the Martells.
"Your grace, you're certain of this?" Doran responded after sharing a surprised look with his brother.
"No. This information is unverified, and could very well be false. According to Varys, Rhaenys is with someone called Young Griff, who's masquerading as her brother Aegon. From the sounds of it, he may be of Blackfyre descent, as Varys addressed him as a false dragon. They're with the Golden Company, and have been preparing for an attack on Westeros, to reclaim the throne from the Baratheons and Lannisters. What's happening now, I'm unsure of. I'm not even sure what to make of this information, but if my half-sister is alive out there, I want her to come home. I have no ill will towards the Blackfyres, or to the Golden Company. Prince Oberyn, you are familiar with Essos, and the Golden Company, are you not?" Aegon questioned.
"I am, and I have heard of them, and seen them in action, during my time with the Second Sons. If it is your intention to ask me to go there, and seek out my niece, than you need say no more. I will go there, and seek her out, find my sister's daughter and bring her home." Prince Oberyn declared.
Aegon stared at him for a long moment before rising to his feet.
"I will have a royal writ, prepared for you. Deliver it to Rhaenys, and this Young Griff. I want Rhaenys to return home to her family. To King's Landing or Sunspear, I care not which, but she belongs here, with her family, not out there, fighting a battle that was already won. Inform the false dragon, and the Golden Company, that they may come to Westeros with my blessing. There are now unclaimed lands in the Westerlands, and in the Stormlands that require lords to oversee them. I have no desire for further war here in Westeros, and I most certainly do not wish to spill the blood of my kin in conflict for the Iron Throne. I trust you with this, Prince Oberyn. Whatever else you need, be it a ship, men, gold, you need only name it." Aegon commanded, earning an astute nod from the Prince of Dorne.
"I will have a list of our needs sent to you. We will leave in haste and seek out the Golden Company." Oberyn declared before turning towards his brother, who hadn't said anything to contest this order. The two locked eyes before Oberyn spoke again. "I must do this brother, for Elia."
For a few moments, Doran was silent, he then nodded and spoke. "Find her, and bring her home, brother."
"Good luck uncle." Arianne offered to Oberyn.
-Tantibus Arcis-
As preparation were made for Oberyn's journey east, Aegon piloted his avatar through the portal to Tantibus Arcis. His avatar took the form of Annatar and arrived at the chamber when Ser Arthur slept.
With a wave of his hand, and a quiet word, the spells that had held the knight in this state for years, finally broke. He took in a breath, and suddenly, the Sword of the Morning, opened his eyes.
"Ser Arthur, welcome back." Annatar stated with a cunning smirk, his plans falling further into place.
-King's Landing-
Rómestámo opened his eyes to find Lilith standing before him. He was naked, and bleeding. His skin covered in seared cuts, freshly made by the Lord of the Balrogs.
"Hello Pallando, time for us to continue." Lilith said to him with a hellish look upon her face.
All the fallen Istari could do was whimper in fear as she set upon him again, assault him with her magic, draining and weakening him further. All that the Blue Wizard could now do, was pray that his allies on Middle-Earth learned the truth before it was too late. They had to know that the Darkness had returned, that Morgoth had returned, and she intended to bring with her, an endless age of darkness. They had to know, otherwise, all would fall before her.
-Valinor-
"Where am I?" A woman's voice whispered in the darkness.
"Lils, is that you?" A man's voice carried out from near to her.
"James, is that you?" Came another man's voice from somewhere else in the darkness.
"Sirius? Is that you?" Spoke a third man's voice.
"I apologize for the disorienting feeling you must be experiencing, but time is short." Came a powerful voice from nearby.
"Who's there?" The woman cried out in fear.
"Don't be afraid. Your sight will return to you in a moment. You have been brought here in an hour of great need. Your daughter, may be in terrible danger." The powerful voice spoke to them, it's tone familiar to them all.
"Our daughter?" One man spoke.
"Sofia?" The woman gasped.
"Sofia Potter is in grave danger. You must help her." Came the voice's response.
Slowly, the four found their sight returning to them. They were standing naked in an open expanse of light, and before them, stood a familiar figure.
"Dumbledore?" James Potter spoke, earning a grandfatherly smile from the former headmaster.
"Hello my old friends, its good to see you again. I need your help." Dumbledore said to them, his eyes twinkling as Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, James and Lily Potter all stared back at him with confusion or disbelief.
The powers in the West had begun to move. The darkness was growing in terrible and unforeseen ways, and the Master of creation had a terrible feeling that there was more happening than he could perceive. Only one held such cunning, only one had the knowledge to counter him. A terrible fear, boiled in the gut of the Supreme Deity, one that reminded him of a terrible and ancient foe. It was time to try and draw it out of hiding, and he had the perfect tools to do just that.
-To be Continued-
Alright there's the next chapter for you, hope you all enjoyed seeing Cersei's fall. Lots of plans in motion, it's almost time to step away from Westeros, and enjoy the events of the Shadow of Mordor/War series of games. What'll happen there, what are Sauron and Lilith's roles going to be? What's happening in Valinor? Look forward to finding out.
