Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or Legend of Korra
A/N: In honor of Korra's 10th Anniversary, here is a 5 CHAPTER UPLOAD to finish season 2. Read this Ch. (Ch. 18) first! IDK why, but I was thinking it was next month in May.
I'm going to wait about five minutes between uploads so if you don't see one after this that'll be the reason and just need to wait a few minutes.
Remember to keep voting in the poll that'll go down on Ninja in the web's next update. And if Naruto should learn flying/lavabending, just one, or neither, so far learning both is in the lead but only gotten several PM's/reviews for it I'll stop counting the votes after uploading the first chapter for s3 Change.
Also, forgot to ask those on AO3 about Naruto learning so I'll be using the game's story that takes place between s2 and s3 to allow any over there to give out a vote.

Book Two
Spirits
Chapter VI
Beginnings.
The Avatar has gone missing. After President Raiko refused Korra's request to aid the South in the war of the Water Tribes, she headed to the Fire Nation, seeking a new ally against Unalaq. But unbeknownst to her friends, a dark spirit attacked Korra and dragged her into the ocean. Meanwhile, Naruto starts to meditate and finds himself in the Spirit World to see a strange sight.
Republic City.
Naruto was meditating on his mattress before he started to glow slightly.
Spirit World.
Naruto gasped as he saw he was in a forest with multiple kinds of animals and creatures walking/flying around. "What the hell? I don't know what I did…"
"I guess you can say, we called you here Naruto."
Naruto looked to see 9 creatures standing two stories tall.
The first is a sandy-brown colored tanuki, with black cursed seal markings all over its face, body, and tail. It has a jagged, concave mouth with no tongue, and the sclera of its eyes are black, with yellow irises and pupils that each takes the shape of a black four-pointed star with four black dots around it.
The second has two tails, like a bakeneko, and is completely engulfed in blue flames. It also has heterochromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green.
The third resembles a large turtle, but with a crab-like shell, spikes all over its body, and three shrimp-like tails. Under its shell, it has red, muscle-like tissue. It has a pair of human-like arms and hands, but no hind legs. His face is concealed between a large forehead and lower jaw both of which have spikes. Its eye is red with a crimson pupil with one closed.
The fourth is a red-furred and green-skinned monkey, with a body build of a gorilla. It has eyes with yellow irides and white pupils, spike-like protrusions along the length of its tails, elongated blunt fangs, and two long horns curving upwards on its forehead like a crown.
The fifth resembles a white horse, but with a dolphin's head. It has two pointed long horns and three shorter horns in front. The ends of its horns, hooves, and tails are tan, with some of the same-colored spots before the tan areas of its horns and hooves. It also has red markings under its dark blue-green eyes.
The sixth is an enormous white with a light blueish tint bipedal slug with stubby arms, feet, and six long tails. It has two prominent optical tentacles (eyes) and hole-like openings as a mouth. Its entire body is covered in a thick, slimy substance.
The seventh resembles a blue, armored rhinoceros beetle, with six of its seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of its abdomen. The stem of the tail is green but the wings are orange. Its eyes seem to be covered by a helmet-like skull, from inside of which, an orange glow can be seen. It also has spike protrusions on its shoulders and a row of slits on each shoulder, and six legs, three on each side.
The legs are also covered by blue armor, except for extreme ends which are green in color. It has two pincers with three parts on its face, covering a mouth full of sharp teeth. On its back behind its head, it has a large two-sectioned horned protrusion.
The eighth is an ushi-oni with four long horns on its head, similar to that of a Jacob sheep. It has straight teeth. It also has a muscular upper-body structure, with a hunched back similar to an American bison, arms with spiky protrusions on the elbows, and hands with opposable thumbs like that of a human. Instead of hind legs, its lower half consists of its eight tails, which resemble the cephalopod arms of an octopus.
And the ninth one is a red-orange colored kitsune with black fur around its red eyes that stretch up to its ears and nine long swiping tails. It also has an upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands.
"Kurama? Am I dead?"
"No, Naruto you're not dead," Kurama said as he sat down with the others.
"Then how the hell are you here? I'm in a new dimension and you've never talked to me at all since I got here."
"We all ended up here when you came here and waited to get in contact with you. I heard the others in this world talk about an event coming soon with the planets aligning, maybe that's the cause of us finally getting you here."
"OK I get you being here but why are the others? At least Gyūki shouldn't as he was still with Killer Bee." Naruto asked before Matatabi looked down.
"Some of our chakras were still in you having us come here… This is as big as we can get as we don't have our full chakra."
"We also found out something about Dad's family that you need to know," Kurama spoke up looking down.
"OK, what?" Naruto asked as he looked up at Kurama who started his story.
He explains about the woman Naruto beat Kaguya, who fell in love with a king while protecting the God Tree. And that after attacking people from another kingdom was sentenced to death before she eats the God Tree's chakra fruit, acquiring the Rinne Sharingan, casting the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and binding those caught in it in the roots of the God Tree.
Kurama continues to explain that she had two sons, Hagoromo and Hamura who in their adult years came across the frog Gamamaru while helping a dispute between farmers. Gamamaru calls them to go somewhere else, points them toward the mountains around the God Tree, and asks them if they know it.
The two identify it as the Peak of Demise, and that their mother has spoken against going beyond it. Gamamaru reveals that the land is weakening because the God Tree is absorbing its power, and that what the brothers had been told, that the land thrives because of the God Tree is wrong. He instructs them to see the truth beyond the peak themselves and leaves.
Upon returning, the two notice a woman named Haori going to participate in a ritual for the God Tree, and she bids them farewell. The two ask Kaguya to end the practice, but she refuses. When they ask what happens to those who participate, and why they never return, she explains that the ritual will continue to happen until "the others" arrive and that they should not concern themselves with that.
Kaguya departs again, and the two decide to go beyond the peak. Hamura finds countless people bound in the roots of the God Tree and they find a deceased Haori, which greatly disturbs Hagoromo's having his eyes change into the Sharingan. They meet with Gamamaru again, who takes them to Mount Myōboku, where they can feel Sage power. Using the Memory Stone, Gamamaru shows them the history of the God Tree, how it came into the world, and how Kaguya appeared and gained the God Tree's power.
And that she revived some of the people she put under the Infinite Tsukuyomi and erased their memories. Gamamaru confirms the God Tree has been draining the land of natural energy. Hagoromo decides to confront Kaguya about it, and when Gamamaru says he has no hope of defeating her if they end up fighting, Hagoromo requests being taught to use Sage power.
Gamamaru asks what would prevent him from becoming like his mother, and Hagoromo points out that was Gamamaru's intention in the first place, pitting himself and Hamura against her. Gamamaru tells them of his prophecy and trains Hagoromo, who quickly picks up Sage power. Kaguya returns to the village, and questions Hamura on Hagoromo's whereabouts. He lies to her, but Kaguya isn't deceived
As Hagoromo finishes his training at Mount Myōboku a messenger toad arrives and informs Gamamaru that Kaguya has returned and that they've been unable to contact Hamura. Hagoromo evacuates the village. Before departing, Gamamaru gifts Hagoromo a tag that can be used to replenish his sage power.
Hagoromo confronts Kaguya about her actions before Hamura appears and attacks Hagoromo, under Kaguya's control. Hagoromo fatally injures Hamura, changing his Sharingan and Rinnegan. He then heals Hamura with the sage tag Gamamaru gave him. The God Tree turns into the Ten-Tails to fight for Kaguya. The fight goes on for months until Kaguya was finally sealed, but at the cost of Hamura's life but not before he had a wife that he left pregnant with his children.
"I know all of this," Naruto stated looking up at each Bijū. "Why are you telling me again?"
"Because Hamura didn't die… He was sent to this dimension."
Naruto looked at Kurama at that. "Really? I guess he couldn't bend like I'm able to if he wasn't mentioned in anything."
Kurama shook his head at that before Matatabi looked down. "He was sent here 50,000 years before the humans could bend after those turtles gave them… When getting into this dimension, the strain split him up into two. Their names… Raava, and Vaatu."
"OK… How did that happen?" Naruto asked as Son Goku looked down.
"His soul was sent here, not his body… Some other power was attached to him when he 'Sacrificed' himself… We think it was because of one of those marks like you and Sasuke got to seal her away going haywire. It's how you got here after all. And over those 50,000 years, this dimension became what it is now due to those two powers."
"Huh… I just thought that dying was the price to seal her and just ended up here by accident." Naruto stated, crossing his arms.
Korra, Bhanti Island.
(Korra's Mind.)
Korra saw Wan with a spirit enter the spirit world.
The spirit is white and blue that's shaped like a kite.
They looked at the barren land except for a hollow tree, several streams, and two portals. Suddenly, a black and red kite spirit enters from the other portal. Wan firebends at Vaatu, who flies away to avoid the blasts. However, he turns back and knocks Wan away with one of his tentacles and fires a purple energy beam out of his face, having Wan get knocked backward again.
Vaatu fires the purple beam again, having Wan grunt as he ricochets over the ground. Vaatu fires a purple energy beam at Wan again, who propels himself with his firebending to avoid it. Vaatu attacks with his whipping tentacles, which Wan evades by flying on a cloud. The two of them exchange blows, with Wan being more powerful and making a decent stand against Vaatu. Wan is forced back, his physical form starting to become static as his energy becomes unstable.
Wan and Vaatu exchange more blows, the former becoming more static while losing ground. Wan promptly charges at Vaatu, and although he manages to land a fire blast, he is shot backward toward the southern portal by a purple energy beam. He skids to a halt right before the portal, where Vaatu pins him down using one of his tentacles.
The two beams from the spirit portals bend over to connect. Vaatu starts to glow purple as he watches the spectacle in the sky. While still static, Wan lights up briefly, showing Raava's from inside his chest. He puts his right hand behind him, causing the energy of the southern spirit portal during Harmonic Convergence to flow through him, basking him in blue light, as he permanently merges his spirit with Raava's.
Vaatu notices and releases him in shock. Wan's form becomes less static and his eyes glow white. He cries out and white lights shoot out of his mouth and eyes, enveloping the area. Vaatu moves away from a safe distance before turning back. As the light subsides, Wan emerges and his energy has stabilized. Wan, eyes still glowing, attacks Vaatu, hitting him consistently and pressuring him before trapping him in an air bubble, which he secures with rings of all four elements. He uses his bending to guide the bubble to the hollow of a tree in which he imprisons Vaatu behind a purple energy field.
Later, back in the mortal world, spirits are lining up to return to the Spirit World through the southern portal before one bowed at Wan who mirrored before sealing the portal when the last spirit went inside so no one would be tempted to release the dark spirit.
Korra then watched an elderly Wan on a battlefield before cursing not bringing peace after he stopped Vaatu from putting the world in 10,000 years of darkness with Raava who then left Wan's body as he passed.
(Real World.)
"I remember."
Korra shot up into the water with a gasp.
"Do you know who you are?"
Korra looks up to the members of the Bhanti. "My name is Korra. I'm the Avatar."
Outside the cave, Korra and the shaman reach a grass clearing where sky bison are grazing. "We've been raising this herd of air bison since the Hundred Year War. I never thought I'd be able to present one to the Avatar."
"Thank you for all your kindness. I wonder how long I've been away." Korra mused looking at the woman.
"That I cannot say, but you do not have much time left. The Harmonic Convergence is only weeks away."
Korra nodded at that. "I have to close the spirit portal before that happens."
She then got on a bison that's missing a part of its right horn, before flying away.
To Be Continued.
