Here we go again! This chapter is something I am trying. I am sure a time loop isn't too original, but fuck it, I have never done it, so it's orginal to me. Prepare for quite a surprise near the end of the chapter.

Chapter 7: Time Loop

Spottedleaf was laying in the mossbed for Fireheart in the Medicine Den. It had been two days after Fireheart defeated the army trying to attack Riverclan, and he still had not woken up. Spottedleaf muttered, "He must've used the Heavenly Drive, or he would have woken up by now. He must have over done it and his body was not ready to handle all of his power without restriction. Mousebrain." Spottedleaf sighed and whispered into Fireheart's ear, "Please. Wake up today. Wake up for me. I miss your warm, rejuvenating gaze. I miss seeing you full of life! We all do! Come back to us! Come back to me!" Spottedleaf licked Fireheart's head gently with affection. Spottedleaf curled up around Fireheart and fell asleep.

Spottedleaf opened her eyes and immediately saw a Twoleg nest. She looked around and she muttered, "No way." Spottedleaf saw a cat who looked identical to Firestar pad into the Twoleg nest. She immediately raced after the cat as she said, "That has to be him!"

Fireheart walked into the Twoleg den for what felt like the thousandth time today. He didn't wince when the loud gunshot happened. Fireheart had been stuck in this loop for what felt like forever. He muttered, "How the fuck do I leave?! Starclan only knows how much time has passed in the real world! This is probably a consequence for me using the Heavenly Drive before I was ready. Fucking hell. I can't believe I am stuck in a fucking time loop." Fireheart heard a quiet voice say something.

Fireheart heard something approaching him from behind and he whirled around ready to fight, when he was tackled. The pair rolled on the hardwood floor and Fireheart ended up on top. He was about to strike when he recognized Spottedleaf. Spottedleaf exclaimed, "FIREHEART! IT'S REALLY YOU!" Fireheart was about to say something when he saw Jin point the gun at Spottedleaf. Fireheart yelled in English, "Not today Jin! NO ONE HARMS HER!" Fireheart got up swiftly and pushed Spottedleaf out of the way and took the shot straight to the chest. Fireheart ended up rolling multiple times from the force of the bullet until he hit the oven behind him. Spottedleaf yelled, "FIREHEART NO! PLEASE NO! NOT AGAIN! I CAN NOT HANDLE IT AGAIN! I CAN'T HANDLE THAT PAIN AGAIN! PLEASE!" Fireheart vanished in front of her eyes. Spottedleaf yowled in grief. She immediately vanished and reappeared where she first came into the dream. Spottedleaf immediately began crying.

Fireheart reappeared in front of the Twoleg nest and he growled, "FUCKING HELL! I KEEP FUCKING DYING AND RESTARTING THE LOOP! HOW THE FUCK DO I ESCAPE?! THIS IS BULLSHIT! IT'S ACTUAL BULLSHIT! At least I saved Spottedleaf's life. I do not know what would've happened if she died in the loop. She might've died in real life. WAIT SHIT! SHE DOESN'T KNOW IT'S A LOOP! SHE PROBABLY THINKS I ACTUALLY DIED! I NEED TO TELL HER! WHERE IS SHE?!" Fireheart heard crying and immediately raced to it, knowing it was Spottedleaf, because it was the only part of the loop that didn't normally happen.

Spottedleaf heard something fast approaching her, but she didn't care. She sniffled and kept crying until a warm, familiar voice reached her ears, "Hey now. Don't cry now. I am still here, Spottedleaf. A beautiful face such as yours should never have a sad expression, even though you're still beautiful regardless." Spottedleaf looked up and saw Fireheart. Spottedleaf sniffled and said, "No. I watched you die right before my very eyes! You're just a vision of what I want. You aren't really him! You're just a vision of Fireheart flirting with me! You aren't him!" Fireheart replied seriously, "Could a vision of what you want do this?" Fireheart padded over and gently wiped Spottedleaf's tears away. Spottedleaf's face felt dry instead of wet. She asked sadly, "But how? I watched you die! You can't be real!" Fireheart replied, "We are currently in a loop. Anytime I die in it, it resets. I promise it's really me. I have been doing this loop for what feels like forever!" Spottedleaf replied, eyes still puffy from crying, "You've been out for two days, Fireheart." Fireheart's eyes went wide in disbelief and he said, "It's really only been that long. I thought it had been much longer. Thank Starclan it hasn't. Regardless, I still need to escape this loop!"

Fireheart asked Spottedleaf as they walked towards the Twoleg nest after Fireheart had convinced her that he was real, "How are you here? Not that I mind. You're a sight for sore eyes in this hell I've been going through." Spottedleaf thought to herself, 'He has never been this forward with flirting. Then again, we're always surrounded by cats. It's nice. This could be my chance to tell him without anyone finding out! My heart races just as fast, if not faster, as it used to when I was alive in the old forest and near Firestar; when I am near Fireheart! Screw it. I am going to tell him in this loop at some point. Maybe before we escape.' Spottedleaf said, "I fell asleep next to you, and it brought me here." Fireheart thought for a second and said, "That means for you to potentially escape, all you have to do is wake up." Spottedleaf said, "I am sticking with you until you escape as well." Fireheart said, "No. If you're about to die and I am not there to take the killing blow, wake the hell up immediately. As the Leader of Lionclan, which makes me your leader, I order you to wake up if you're about to die. You could die in the real world if you're killed in my time loop. I won't die in the real world if I die here." Spottedleaf sighed and said, "That's a dirty trick, Fireheart. That code is seriously flawed. Fine." She then asked seriously, "How many times have you died, Fireheart?"

Fireheart replied honestly, "I lost count around three hundred." Spottedleaf's amber eyes went wide in disbelief and she said, "You will immediately die if you escape. That is far more deaths than lives you have." Fireheart replied, "No I won't. As far as I can tell, I have not lost a single one of my actual lives. Except maybe the life that Hollyleaf gave me during the Ceremony, because she no longer hunts with Starclan." Spottedleaf used her sense as a Medicine Cat to confirm Fireheart's story. Spottedleaf gasped in disbelief as she said, "Y-You have an infinite amount of lives. No. That can't be possible!" Fireheart said intelligently, "The Power of the Phoenix would grant me that. Phoenixes are reborn in a flash of fire from their ashes no matter how many times they die. Phoenixes are Immortal. But when we escape, I will ask you to confirm it in the real world."

Fireheart looked at the Twoleg Den in the distance. Fireheart said, "The first part to get out of this hell is in there." Fireheart used his tail to point to the Twoleg Nest. Fireheart continued, "I have figured out that part. I have to defeat the one who killed my Twoleg self. The second part is the place where I always die, except for the one death where I took a bullet for you, because I can't figure it the fuck out." Spottedleaf nodded in understanding and Fireheart said, "In this time loop, it's as if I have all of my lost power back. I can freely use the Heavenly Drive, I can keep my pelt on fire forever, etc. I have been experimenting because the instant I died the first time, I expected to wake up immediately, but I found myself right in front of the Twoleg Nest again. And then I died again at the second part, only to find myself back in front of that Twoleg Nest. I figured out I was stuck in a time loop after that and began to experiment." Spottedleaf thought for a moment and she asked, "What if this time loop is about your life?"

Fireheart exclaimed, "That's fucking brilliant, Spottedleaf! I actually never thought of it like that. You have brains as well as beauty. Okay. I will be the first to admit that one was corny." Spottedleaf giggled quietly. Fireheart and Spottedleaf stopped in front of the Twoleg Nest. Fireheart took a breath to prepare himself for the fight about to happen. He walked into the Twoleg Nest with Spottedleaf. Fireheart hissed quietly, "Hide Spottedleaf. I will be right back." Spottedleaf nodded in understanding and hid as Fireheart walked out and yelled something in the Twoleg's language.

In the Real World:

Honeypaw walked into the Medicine Den with Jayfeather. Honeypaw immediately knew something wasn't right. She rushed over to Spottedleaf's and Fireheart's bodies, their tails entwined in their unconscious state. Jayfeather said, "Don't fret. Sounds like Spottedleaf found out how to force herself into Fireheart's dream." Honeypaw asked, "How can you tell?!" Jayfeather replied calmly, "Well. Spottedleaf's breathing and heart rate have matched Fireheart's exactly. You can join them if you'd like, but I do not think it's a good idea. New-leaf is here and we have to stock up on herbs." Honeypaw nodded in understanding and asked, "What if Spottedleaf doesn't wake up until Fireheart does?" Jayfeather answered, "She will wake up on her own. She isn't the dumbass who fought an army by herself and surpassed her limits drastically. And if you can't tell, I am not calling Spottedleaf a dumbass. I am calling Fireheart a dumbass." Honeypaw replied, "Trust me. I could tell." Jayfeather mewed, "Just making sure." Splashfur walked into the Medicine Den and blushed as she saw Spottedleaf curled up with Fireheart, their tails entwined. Splashfur mewed, "I-I guess it would be rude of me to join them." Honeypaw got a thought and said, "Join them." Jayfeather's ears twitched at Honeypaw's words.

Splashfur said, "B-But they love one another clearly. I can't take Fireheart from his mate. Even though Spottedleaf having a mate is against the Medicine Cat Code! I won't tear them apart!" Jayfeather immediately knew what Honeypaw was trying to do. He thought to himself, 'Honeypaw is remarkably clever. She knows something besides sheer exhaustion is wrong with Fireheart. Maybe he is stuck in a dream state. I would almost say she's smarter than I am.' Jayfeather said, "Join them. Fireheart has enough love to share. As long as you don't mind sharing as well." Splashfur blushed bright red and replied shyly, "I-It really depends who I-I'd have to share with. Hopefully no Toms. The only Tom I want to be my mate is Fireheart and the only Tom that I want to mate with is Fireheart."

Splashfur blushed a darker red as she realized what she said and hid her face in embarrassment. Jayfeather chuckled and said, "Trust me. Fireheart is not interested in Toms. Take a close look at the group that always follows Fireheart around when they aren't busy with other stuff or when Fireheart goes off to fight against impossible odds by himself. Have you ever seen even just one Tom in that group?" Splashfur replied shyly, "N-No. Fireheart makes casual conversation with everyone, but only she-cats follow him around." Jayfeather thought to himself, 'She really is innocent and pure. She doesn't even seem to remember that Flowerkit is Fireheart's first litter with Windstream.'

Jayfeather said, "Exactly. So you have a chance to be with him as well. I know Fireheart's presence is relaxing to you. And you seem quite tense. As your Medicine Cat, I am saying that you need to join them in the moss bed and sleep with them to relax." Splashfur didn't argue with Jayfeather and walked over to Fireheart's and Spottedleaf's unconscious bodies.

Back in Fireheart's Time Loop:

Fireheart defeated Jin and walked back to Spottedleaf. He mewed, "Safe to come out." Spottedleaf walked out and was surrounded by Darkness. Waves of Depression flowed around her. She looked around and realized she was covered in light which caused the Darkness and Depression to retreat from her. She muttered, "I see. I remember this from watching over Fireheart from Starclan. I remember telling him to find his light. I also remember telling Honeypaw and Silverstream to find their true love to save his life. The feeling really is mutual. Alright. Let's go find Fireheart." Spottedleaf became a slight blur as she sprinted around, searching for Fireheart.

Fireheart was surrounded by darkness, waves of depression striking him viciously, and he said, "Alright. Spottedleaf was correct. This time loop is about my life. There is no voice telling me to find light this time; which is why I was so damn confused every single time I got to this part, but I know what I must do because Spottedleaf is completely correct. I need to find my light. Strange that me finally giving into the Depression and killing myself numerous times in this time loop has not caused me to die in the real world. This is quite weird, since I am the only thing that is able to kill me. I have built up quite a tolerance at this point. Last time I got to this part, it took me what felt like days to finally give in. Last time, my light was Honeypaw and Silverstream. But they aren't with me. If I am to escape this Hell, I will have to conform with the rules at least a little bit."

Fireheart got a thought and he blushed dark red as he muttered, "M-My light couldn't be Spottedleaf? Could it? But for her to be my light, she has to love me as well. No way. No fucking way. Spottedleaf loves me?!" Fireheart slapped himself mentally and said, "I need to quit making assumptions. I won't know until I find her. Besides. If I remember correctly, both Silverstream and Honeypaw had to pretty much have their flanks brushing to make enough light to cover me as well, meaning even if Spottedleaf is somehow my light, it isn't enough to cover me and heal me."

Fireheart walked around slowly, searching for a hint of light. He saw nothing and realized he was walking down a hill now. He muttered, "Alright. Last time, I got attacked by doppelgangers of Honeypaw and Silverstream somewhere around here." Fireheart heard something falling from above and he leapt to the right. Fireheart whirled around and saw Spottedleaf. He immediately knew something wasn't right. Spottedleaf leapt at him, teeth bared.

Fireheart gently batted her away with his claws sheathed. Spottedleaf's Doppelganger hissed, "You hit the ones who want you? Pathetic! I just wanted to give a bite of love to your throat and tear it out!" Fireheart replied calmly, "You aren't really her. You're a doppelganger. I would never dream of actually hitting the ones who love me, unless they're kinky like that. And even then, I would hesitate because of the way I was raised as both a Twoleg and as a Warrior. I will not hurt you, because you look exactly like Spottedleaf, who I care about and love. But I will fight back without my claws and teeth. You will not land a single hit, for I will bat you away."

With Splashfur:

Splashfur opened her eyes and looked around, and saw nothing but darkness. She looked at her paws, and realized light was coming from her. She looked around and saw some light moving around swiftly. Splashfur grew curious and pelted towards the light, her paws sparking.

Spottedleaf heard something fast approaching her from behind and she whirled around to defend herself. She was tackled and the two cats rolled on the ground. Spottedleaf ended up on top and prepared to strike to defend herself after she pinned the cat below her, when she recognized Splashfur. Spottedleaf asked, "Why in the name of Starclan are you here?" Splashfur replied, "I do not know. I fell asleep next to Fireheart and you and wound up here. And light seems to be coming from my body." Spottedleaf immediately said, "That's because we are Fireheart's light in this place of darkness and depression. We need to find him before he kills himself and resets the loop." Splashfur asked, "Loop?" Spottedleaf replied, "Yes. We are currently in a time loop of Fireheart's life. This is why he has not woken up, because he has been stuck in this loop. Every time he dies, it resets." Splashfur's eyes went wide and she asked, "Where is he?! Is he okay?!" Spottedleaf replied honestly, "I don't know."

Back with Fireheart and Spottedleaf's Doppelganger:

Spottedleaf leapt at Fireheart again and he gently batted her away. Spottedleaf cackled and Fireheart heard something falling towards him again. Fireheart backflipped out of the way. Fireheart looked at the new adversary and recognized Splashfur. Splashfur hissed, "You can't be with Spottedleaf. She is a Medicine Cat, Fireheart! That's against the Warrior Code! Can't you tell that I want you?!" Spottedleaf hissed, "No. You want me and only me. I am just the right amount of pure and innocent! Splashfur is far to pure and innocent for a Tom like you!" Splashfur hissed, "True! But don't you want to take away and taint my innocence, Fireheart?! Make me your naughty kitty!" Fireheart replied, "Nah. I like that you're innocent Splashfur. It's quite adorable. Maybe eventually if you fell for me again, we could do something, but I hope you'd still retain your pureness and innocence, because it is truly cute. But then again, neither of you are actually the ones I love and care about." Spottedleaf and Splashfur hissed, "Then kill yourself. It'd make us happy! Don't you want us to be happy regardless of what happens to you?" Fireheart looked at his claws and forced them in and out repeatedly without even considering putting them to his throat, as he said, "I do want that. I really do. However, what you're trying to do won't work ladies. I have been through this part of the loop numerous times, so much so, that it takes a long, and I truly mean long, time to give in. And since Splashfur's doppelganger is here, that means both parts of my light have arrived. I just gotta find them. And then you both go away." Fireheart flashed his best smile as he said, "Maybe next time, you'll win. But I highly doubt it." Both of the Doppelgangers hissed and began to attack Fireheart furiously.

Fireheart dodged and weaved between the attacks, only batting them away gently if an attack were to land. Fireheart dodged under Splashfur's leap and said, "Keep trying ladies. I can do this for a long time before the Depression gets to me and makes me feel like there's nothing worth living for. I need the exercise. I am getting a little fat. And I doubt you two want a fat Fireheart." Fireheart slid under Spottedleaf as she attacked. Spottedleaf hissed, "Just stand still and die you prick!" Fireheart replied as he blocked a claw with his front legs, a small trickle of blood flowing from his front legs, "Nah. I don't think I will. You two really aren't selling the whole Spottedleaf and Splashfur act. Spottedleaf never swears, and she'd never call me a prick. She'd definitely call me a mousebrain, because she has called me that before, but not a prick. And I highly doubt Splashfur and Spottedleaf would attack me regardless, unless they absolutely had to. Learn how to play the part correctly, and maybe I will believe it." Fireheart yowled loudly, "I AM OVER HERE SPOTTEDLEAF AND SPLASHFUR! WATCH OUT FOR THE HILL!" Spottedleaf's and Splashfur's doppelgangers looked at Fireheart and growled in anger. Fireheart replied, "Sorry. I was getting a little tired of being in this part of the loop. Maybe next time ladies." Fireheart dodged another attack from Spottedleaf and batted Splashfur away gently before her attack could hit his throat. Fireheart replied, "Working together! That I could see Splashfur and Spottedleaf actually doing. Keep it up, and maybe an attack will find its mark."

With Splashfur and Spottedleaf:

Splashfur and Spottedleaf heard a yowl saying, "I AM OVER HERE SPOTTEDLEAF AND SPLASHFUR! WATCH OUT FOR THE HILL!" Spottedleaf pinpointed the location as best as she could and nodded to Splashfur. The two took off in the direction of the yowl.

As they approached a hill, they slowed down. They walked down to a clearing and looked at Fireheart defending himself from visions of the two. Both of them felt something inside them snap and they roared in anger. Fireheart looked over as he dodged another attack and said with a smile, "Hey you two. Join the party! It's a gang up on Fireheart and hope he kills himself, kind of party. It's fun! Also! Impressive roar. Kind of got me going, if you catch my drift." Spottedleaf replied sweetly, yet strictly, "Jokes like that are forbidden, mousebrain. However, our roar getting you going, is definitely allowed." Splashfur asked shyly, "What do you mean by our roar got you going?"

Fireheart laughed and said to Splashfur's and Spottedleaf's doppelgangers, "See! That is how you two doppelgangers should act if you want to actually make me believe that it's actually Spottedleaf and Splashfur attacking me!" The two doppelgangers hissed in anger and doubled their efforts to attack Fireheart. Fireheart dodged and blocked as best as he could as he said, "That's it! Keep it up! One attack actually found its mark! Keep it up!" Spottedleaf and Splashfur walked down to Fireheart's side.

Spottedleaf very gently and adorably batted Fireheart upside the head and said, "Quit agging them on, mousebrain! How do we end this and get to the next part?!" Fireheart chuckled and replied, "That bat was adorable. It's like you didn't want to hurt me." Spottedleaf replied, "I never want to hurt you! How do we end this part?!" Fireheart replied, "Both you and Splashfur have to get close so your combined light can cover me to heal the depression or something like that. And then you two have to kill your doppelgangers I believe." Splashfur said slowly, "I-I have never killed anyone! Only Fresh-kill! Do we have to kill them?!" Splashfur and Spottedleaf got close together, their combined light making just enough room for a third cat and Fireheart walked into it as he said, "We will see. They really aren't real. Just a vision." Fireheart felt himself being healed and he purred quietly. Splashfur's, Spottedleaf's, and Fireheart's pelts ignited in flames. The doppelgangers hissed, "He doesn't love you! He loves us!" Fireheart immediately remembered everything that happened last time and he blushed lightly at what he was going to say when the time came.

Spottedleaf giggled and said, "No. He doesn't love you two, because you two aren't really Splashfur and me. He loves the real Splashfur and Spottedleaf. We are the real ones." Spottedleaf used her tail to point to Splashfur and herself. The Doppelgangers hissed and attacked Splashfur and Spottedleaf. Fireheart walked forwards and took the attacks and hissed, "I love these two." He used his tail to gesture to Spottedleaf and Splashfur. The doppelgangers hissed, "What can you hope to do, Fireheart?! This is our domain! OURS! You don't have a snowball's chance in hell to control it!" Fireheart laughed and said, "You see, that's where you're wrong. It's actually my domain, as this is happening in MY dream. You two sure as hell are not Freddy Krueger from the movies I watched before I was reborn after I was killed, which means, you can't control my dream." The doppelgangers were sent flying backwards from an unseen force and Fireheart growled loudly, his eyes seemingly flame orange; "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR ATTACKING MY MATES!" Spottedleaf and Splashfur blushed dark red as Fireheart called them his mates.

The doppelgangers yowled in agony as every single bone in their bodies broke in unison. Fireheart nodded to Splashfur and Spottedleaf and both of them felt their heart skip a beat as Fireheart looked at them. Splashfur walked to her Doppelganger. Spottedleaf approached her Doppelganger, waiting for the word. Fireheart looked around and didn't see anything changing. He sighed as he said sadly, "Yeah. You two have to kill your doppelgangers. I am so sorry. Now your paws are going to be dirty." Splashfur and Spottedleaf immediately slashed their Doppelgangers' throats at Fireheart's word. Black blood shot everywhere, evaporating as it hit three cats' pelts. Splashfur and Spottedleaf walked back over to Fireheart. Splashfur mewed shyly, "O-Our paws are not dirty. They were trying to kill you. Meaning they were outside the Warrior Code. A-Also. D-Did you mean everything you just said?" Fireheart looked at her and said, "Yes. Yes I did, Splashfur." Splashfur blushed bright red and purred loudly as the scenery changed.

The scenery changed to mountains. Fireheart looked around and said, "I guess I have to kill Sharptooth now." Splashfur replied, "I guess so." Fireheart looked around and realized they were at the base of the mountain. Fireheart mewed, "It seems like this time loop is about all of the major things that made me who I am. I wouldn't be surprised if we somehow wound up back in time on the day the Dark Forest attacked the clans." Spottedleaf's eyes went wide in disbelief and she asked, "What makes you think that? It's a good idea, but what makes you think that?" Fireheart replied, "Being murdered by Jin made me a Warrior. That's a pretty major part of my life. And before you ask Splashfur, Yes. I used to be a Twoleg. If you don't want to be with me anymore, I understand." Splashfur replied, "No. It's fine. That is not who you are anymore, right?" Fireheart answered, "True."

Splashfur mewed, "Then it's fine. You are no longer a Twoleg. You're Fireheart of Lionclan. I still have not remembered everything, I know that for a fact, but I remember enough." Fireheart chuckled lightly and continued where he left off, "Tigerstar trying to kill me with the Depression, because he somehow knows I am the only thing that is able to kill me. That gave me an understanding of Depression so I was able to help Ivypool through her mild depression that resulted from her announcing who she loved in front of the entire clan, and the cat she loved didn't talk to her at all until I intervened. I also talked to her in her dream when I was in Starclan for that short amount of time, which is what made me begin to realize that she, albeit sassy and seemingly cold hearted at times, was actually mildly depressed. And now, defeating Sharptooth. Which made me realize I could truly battle against impossible odds and win. At first, I thought when I defeated the Rogues that attacked Riverclan, it was just a fluke, but defeating Sharptooth made me realize that it was not just a fluke and helped instill confidence in myself."

Spottedleaf looked up at the mountains in awe and said, "I have never been to the Mountains as a live cat. Are they as beautiful as they appear from Starclan?" Splashfur said, "Yeah. The mountains are quite beautiful in certain areas. I know it looks desolate, but the view is phenomenal." Spottedleaf was about to run up the mountain to check it out when Fireheart said, "Now now. Be careful. I have had to jump off this damn mountain to catch a falling cat three times now. I would rather not do it again, but if I must, I will, but it will reset the loop if I fail to do it safely, because if I don't do it safely, I will become nothing but a splatter of blood on the ground." Spottedleaf looked at Fireheart and nodded in understanding as she mewed, "Sorry. Just. Exploring territory as a live cat is much different than as a member of Starclan." Fireheart purred quietly in amusement and said, "I do not doubt it. Let's climb the mountain slowly. And if one of you happens to slip, I will catch them. However, if I slip, let it happen. Because if I die in the loop, I do not die in the real world; it just resets it. But if either of you die in the loop, it might kill you in the real world. I refuse to let either of you die in the loop, because I love and care about both of you and I don't want to lose either of you."

Splashfur and Spottedleaf purred quietly in unison and they all walked up the mountain slowly. Fireheart lost his footing, but caught himself before he slipped. His heart raced at his near death experience and he heard the roar of Sharptooth. Fireheart took a deep breath and roared in return, his roar outmatching Sharptooth's easily.

Fireheart, Spottedleaf, and Splashfur walked up the mountain carefully. They arrived at the cave where the Tribe of Rushing Water resided. Fireheart said to Spottedleaf and Splashfur, "Stay here. This will be a dangerous fight." Spottedleaf and Splashfur mewed, "No. We are going to cheer you on, Fireheart. And you're gonna like it." Fireheart chuckled lightly and said, "Alright. But if either of you are about to die, I will take the attack or fall that would've killed you, myself. I did have my own personal squad of cheerleaders during that fight. I guess it'd make sense to try and keep everything the same as best as we can."

The group of three walked into the cave and Fireheart roared again. Sharptooth roared in return and Fireheart's group approached the noise. Fireheart looked at Sharptooth. Sharptooth mewed, "I told you that I'd be back Firepaw." Fireheart laughed and said, "So. You know this is a loop as well." Sharptooth nodded and said, "However, I do not want to fight." Fireheart's eyes went wide in disbelief and Sharptooth continued, "I respect you. And I wish to fight with you. Not against you. Sorry for cursing you before I died." Fireheart replied honestly, "I do not know if you're able to fight with me. And it's fine. Maybe as a cat of Starclan or as a cat of the Tribe of Endless Hunting, you'd be able to fight with me. But as far as I know, you don't believe in Starclan, or the Tribe of Endless Hunting." Sharptooth replied, "I have my own ancestors that I believe in. And I am a member of them. But finding you is difficult. I have been looking since you defeated me."

Fireheart thought for a second and mewed, "Hmmmm. But how will I get past this part if we don't fight?" Sharptooth replied, "This is the only part I know of that has a different choice for some reason. Maybe because different parts of your life could've had other, more peaceful solutions. And since you prefer to be peaceful over violent, this loop gives you the chance to right your decisions that you regret. Do you regret killing me?" Fireheart replied immediately, "Honestly, yeah. But you tried to killed Splashfur. I had no choice then. No one hurts the ones I love." Sharptooth mewed, "I am truly sorry. I should've tried to live peacefully with the Tribe of Rushing Water, but I was blinded by my instinct like a newborn. The Sharptooth that Feathertail killed and ended up dying from, was also blinded by instinct, but he doesn't regret it." Fireheart thought for a moment and said, "Alright. Truce?" Sharptooth flashed a toothy grin and replied, "Truce. On one condition." Fireheart looked at Sharptooth curiously and Sharptooth continued, "Help me find you so I can fight with you."

Fireheart thought for a moment and nodded in understanding. Fireheart's body erupted in a pure white and gold aura as he began the chant, "I, who shall awaken, am the cat sent from Heaven to protect the forest and defeat the Cat of Domination." Fireheart's aura became bright gold as he continued, "I protect the weak, and give the forest hope!" Fireheart's eyes became pure white as he continued, "I shall become the Heavenly Cat of Hope!" Fireheart's pelt became pure white as he continued, "I shall bring you all from the depths of despair!" Fireheart's pelt ignited in white flames as he finished, "HEAVENLY CAT DRIVE!" Spottedleaf and Splashfur looked at him curiously. Fireheart stuck his paw out and a white orb appeared there. Spottedleaf, Splashfur, and Sharptooth looked at the orb curiously. Fireheart asked, "Splashfur, is it okay if I do this? He did try to kill you." Splashfur replied, "He does seem to regret it. As long as he promises to not betray you, it's fine." Sharptooth said, "I promise to not betray the second chance Firepaw has given me." Splashfur beamed and said, "Good. Go ahead, Fireheart."

Fireheart nodded and mewed, "I call upon my power of Hope to help this lost soul find me so I can lead him through the path of Hope! He wants to right the past!" The white orb in Fireheart's paws glowed white and gold. Fireheart continued, "I call upon my power to help this cat find me no matter what, no matter where I may be!" The orb in Fireheart's paws became insanely bright as his words warped its power. He continued, "I shall drag this cat from the depths of despair for his past choices that he truly regrets and wants to correct!" The orb shook violently in Fireheart's paws and he finished, "Then from this day forth, my power of Hope will allow this cat to be able to right his past wrongs by being able to fight with me, instead of against me!" Fireheart flicked the gold and white orb at Sharptooth. It entered his body and Sharptooth glowed bright white for a second.

The light around Sharptooth died down and Sharptooth said, "Thank you, Fireheart. I had no idea you were a Warrior. Sorry for calling you Firepaw." Fireheart replied, "No need to apologize. You didn't know. Do not make me regret giving you this chance, or I will end you without hesitation and banish you to The Place of No Stars. You can thank Starclan for me being so forgiving because of…. Reasons I am not allowed to talk about." Sharptooth got the hint and said, "Of course. If I can ever meet with them, I will thank them, Fireheart." Fireheart smiled and the scenery changed.

In Thunderclan:

Honeypaw shielded her eyes as Fireheart's body erupted in a bright white aura. She said, "What?! How?! Is he using the Heavenly Drive in his dream or whatever he is in?! How is he able to do that?! What is going on? I need to find out!" Jayfeather said to her, "He is fine. I promise." Honeypaw looked at her mentor in disbelief.

Back in the Time Loop:

Spottedleaf and Splashfur looked at Fireheart. He deactivated the Heavenly Drive and said, "I told you didn't I, Spottedleaf? I have all of my lost power in this loop for some reason. I can use the Heavenly Drive without consequence in the loop." Fireheart looked around and saw that the scenery was the tunnels below the forest. Fireheart gulped in fear as he realized the next part was fighting his dark self. Fireheart muttered, "This is where I fought the Dark Version of myself. During the fight, I admitted that I was afraid of losing control of my powers which would result in me killing the ones I love." He raised his voice and ordered, "Stay behind me! No matter what!" Spottedleaf and Splashfur obeyed his command. Fireheart looked ahead and saw DF. Fireheart growled deeply and angrily.

DF cackled and said, "I told you. I will kill the ones you love. Tap it once to take their virginity, and then kill them. I think I will start by taking Spottedleaf's and Splashfur's virginity right here and now right in front of you, and then kill them. They don't deserve to be treated with respect. They're nothing but play things." Fireheart hissed, "I will tap it more than once, with consent of course. Because I love them! Just because I take their virginity, doesn't mean I will ever even consider killing them! And you disgust me. I will never treat the she-cats I love like a play thing! They are not a slave to my desires! I WILL END YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL DARK FIREPAW!" DF cackled and activated the Infernal Cat Drive. Fireheart didn't activate the Heavenly Drive.

DF looked at him curiously and said, "You aren't using the Heavenly Cat Drive. Interesting tactic." Fireheart replied slowly, controlling his anger surprisingly well, "I don't need it to beat you if my theory is correct." DF cackled and said, "Your vigil." Fireheart smirked and ignited his pelt into white flames and said, "My hope will overwhelm your hatred. Trust me. It's gonna be your vigil, Dark Firepaw. But you're so pathetic, I won't even give you a vigil. You're gonna die here alone, with no one who cares about you. That's what your domination cost you. Being alone forever is just one of the many prices of your domination. Losing sight of what's truly important, is another price. Losing sight of who you are, is yet another. I can sit here naming all the prices of your pathetic domination, but we'd be here for a week of real world time, and I don't have that kind of time, because I have a Forest to save!"

DF hissed and leapt at Fireheart. Fireheart swung his paw back swiftly and struck DF right in the chest. DF yowled in agony and hissed in pain as he flew into a rock wall. Fireheart sighed and said, "Did you forget how to block? We used to be a twoleg. You should know how to fight like one." DF hissed angrily and leapt again. Fireheart met him mid-air and threw DF into the ground harshly. Fireheart landed gracefully and DF got up shakily. DF reared a paw back and tried to strike Fireheart. Fireheart knocked the fist away and said, "Don't make your attacks obvious if you want to land a single hit. You are not a one-punch Knockout kind of cat. We were never like that as a Twoleg. This is how I know that this fear of mine is irrational. Because the Path of Domination would not have made me forget how to fight like a Twoleg. I still block claws from my enemies with my front legs from time to time. It hurts and it's much easier to dodge, but my Twoleg hand-to-hand combat instinct kicks in from time to time. It's a great way to catch an opponent off-guard. You are not really me. You are just my fear, given a physical form. Because if you were really me, you would've landed an attack by now, because you'd know my fighting style and moves for fighting like a Twoleg." DF growled angrily and swung again. Fireheart caught the paw in his paw and twisted it around and bent it up, making the paw and the leg it was attached to, useless until Fireheart let go. DF hissed loudly in pain and swung with the other paw. Fireheart caught the other paw in his other paw and was now standing on his hind legs.

Spottedleaf and Splashfur looked at him in disbelief and Spottedleaf said, "I thought you said screw your Twoleg life! Why are you fighting like a Twoleg?!" Fireheart replied, "I did it to test a theory. My theory is correct. The dark version of myself that I fought in the Tunnels when I chose the path of Hope, was not really me. It was just my irrational fear, given form. Because no matter what, even when I was a kit, I knew how to fight like a Twoleg. The times I went missing from the Nursery or from the clan and no one could find me, I was practicing it so I could perfect it as a cat. The only cats who know I can fight like a Twoleg, are my father and Hollyleaf. During some of the training I did with them to prepare for the fight against the army that was trying to attack Riverclan, I attempted it. I could never walk when I did it, but my father appreciated the new challenge. I have had it perfected for a long time now. Truthfully, I can probably fight in actual battle on my hind legs by now. There is no way in hell, I'd just forget how to fight like a Twoleg. Especially since it is one of my own, secret fighting tactics. When I fight like a Twoleg, it gives me advantages that the opponent does not know about, because they have never seen it. I have even come up with my own fighting style and my own moves for fighting like a Twoleg, as a cat." Splashfur and Spottedleaf looked at Fireheart, jaws dropped.

DF hissed and tried to bite Fireheart, and Fireheart moved his head as he kicked DF away from him, letting go of DF's paws. Fireheart remained on his hind legs and looked at DF as he flew into a wall. DF grunted in pain and hissed. Fireheart said, "Bring it. I am no longer afraid of my irrational fear. You will never be able to defeat me now. And you sure as hell are not taking Spottedleaf's and Splashfur's virginity. You don't deserve to take any cats' virginity. You deserve absolutely nothing. You don't even deserve to be called by a name. You are nothing but my old fear." DF growled and leapt again. Fireheart tried to side step the leap, but he was not used to moving on only his hind legs. He didn't move at all and DF tackled him to the ground. Fireheart kicked DF off of him and mewed, "Guess I can't walk on my hind legs still. I will have to practice that when I get back to the clans! Guess I am stuck walking like a cat in this battle." Fireheart got to his paws and charged DF. They met in the middle of the clearing, a flurry of blows causing blood to fly everywhere.

Fireheart blocked a claw with his front legs and hit DF's face with a closed paw. DF was sent flying to the left from the right hook. DF grunted in pain and hissed as he got to his paws shakily. Fireheart watched him and said, "Watch out for the hook. That hit hurts. Then again, maybe you're a masochist. I know damn well I am not a masochist, but since you really aren't me, you might be." DF growled angrily and charged Fireheart. Fireheart chuckled and muttered, "Checkmate." Fireheart slid under DF and leapt at him. He wrapped his paws around DF and fell backwards with him to the ground. DF tried to get out of the grab, but Fireheart hooked his hind legs around DF's hind legs and forced them to spread, Fireheart's hind paws planted on the ground. Fireheart wrapped a front paw around DF's neck, Fireheart's leg, just barely long enough to close his elbow around DF's neck. The other front paw he planted on top of DF's head and kept him in place as he squeezed DF's neck with the other front paw. Fireheart mewed, "Since you don't have enough reach for an elbow in this position, because we are cats, good luck escaping. There is another way to escape this, but you're too stupid to figure it out. This is where your story ends, fear of mine." DF struggled as Fireheart choked him.

Fireheart kept applying pressure to DF's throat as DF's movements became weaker and weaker. Fireheart decided to end it and gripped DF's head with both of his front paws, claws out to dig into the head so he could actually get a grip, and snapped DF's neck quickly. DF's struggles immediately stopped as Fireheart snapped DF's neck. Fireheart unhooked his hind legs from DF's hind legs and pushed the dead body off of him. Fireheart took a deep breath and got to his paws. Spottedleaf and Splashfur looked at him in disbelief and Splashfur said, "You have got to teach all of us how to fight like a Twoleg. That was impressive. Especially what you did to keep Dark Firepaw in place at the end, whatever it is called." Fireheart replied, "It's just a grapple. I forgot the name of it. Truth be told, if I have to, I will teach all of the cats in the forest how to fight like a Twoleg. But it's going to be strange and awkward at first. I think it would be better for them to fight like they normally do. I don't mind being the only wild card." Spottedleaf purred in amusement and said, "I think that's fair. Don't want our opponents to adapt." Fireheart chuckled and light appeared before them. Fireheart smirked and said, "Ladies. I think that's our way out." Fireheart began to walk to it when Spottedleaf stopped him by placing her tail on his back.

Fireheart turned around and noticed that Spottedleaf was blushing. He asked, "Yes? What is it?" Spottedleaf replied shyly, "Starclan, forgive me. It's happened again. And yet again with Thunderclan." Fireheart grew curious and asked, "What happened again?" Spottedleaf replied quietly, "Forbidden love." Fireheart opened his mouth to ask Spottedleaf what she meant, when her lips met his.

Fireheart blushed dark red and kissed back deeply. Spottedleaf broke the kiss after a few seconds and said, "I… I love you, Fireheart. I tried to not fall in love again and wait to rejoin Starclan so I could be with Firestar after conversing with Sandstorm, but I couldn't help but fall in love with you. Fireheart, when I was alive in the old forest, I thought Firestar was one of a kind. I was wrong, Firestar is two of a kind. And you are the other cat that is also two of a kind. You are exactly like Firestar. You even look like him. Everything about you two is exactly the same. Even your gaze makes me feel warm, just like Firestar's gaze did. My heart runs a marathon anytime you're close to me, much like it did anytime Firestar was close to me. You've been through so much, yet you're always chipper. You've even risked your own safety and wellbeing time and time again, just to protect your clan and to keep your clan happy. Just like Firestar used to. I truly believe that you, Fireheart, are Firestar reborn. When you said that you refused to put me through the pain of losing Firestar again because if you died, it'd be the same. You had no idea how much it would've been the same. It would've been exactly the same because I love you! I had to tell you this, before we left. So only you and I would know. But Splashfur is here, and now she knows." Splashfur giggled and said, "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. Especially since I know Fireheart can share his abundance of love. He called us both, his mates for a reason." Fireheart looked at Spottedleaf and Splashfur. He mewed, "I love you too Spottedleaf. Hard to not fall for someone so absolutely perfect. I love you as well Splashfur." Fireheart kissed both of them and all three cats purred.

Fireheart looked at the light and asked, "Shall we get back to the clan? Before we all get buried?" The two she-cats nodded their agreement. Fireheart smiled and asked, "Who wants which side as we return to the world?" Spottedleaf immediately walked over to Fireheart's left side. Fireheart chuckled and said, "Same side Honeypaw took when her and Silverstream saved my life as my light. Wonder if my left side specifically attracts Medicine Cats." Splashfur and Spottedleaf purred in amusement. Splashfur padded over to Fireheart's right side and they walked through the light.

Back in Thunderclan:

Honeypaw was pacing worriedly around the Medicine Den when she heard her brother gasp for breath. She immediately ran over and watched Fireheart's eyes shoot open. He gasped for breath again and quickly got up as he looked around. He asked, "Is this actually Thunderclan? Or is this another part of that god forsaken time loop?" Honeypaw asked, "Time loop? That's why you didn't wake up for three days now?! I thought you were dying! Don't you ever scare me like that again, or I will claw you next time!" Spottedleaf and Splashfur opened their eyes and got up. They looked around and sighed in relief. Spottedleaf and Splashfur rested their eyes on Fireheart. They both blushed and purred quietly.

Fireheart looked at the two and smiled as he said, "Now. I know we just woke up, Spottedleaf, but I need you to do that again." Spottedleaf nodded in understanding and used her Medicine Cat sense to tell how many lives Fireheart had. She mewed, "You currently have eight lives, Fireheart." Fireheart sighed in relief and said, "Good. So I did lose a life from saving Hollyleaf's life. Good to know. Having an infinite amount of lives was fun while it lasted. I got to experience death over six hundred times at least. It was… let's just say an unique experience. Being a Leader with an infinite amount of lives would be unfair. I still have to name a deputy of Lionclan. I don't think I will do that until I reunite the clans." Honeypaw's eyes went wide in disbelief as she said, "You died over six hundred times?! What the hell happened?!" Fireheart looked at her and replied honestly, "Only one of those deaths was from an enemy. I took a bullet to the chest to save Spottedleaf's life. All of the other deaths were caused by my own claws. I was stuck in a time loop of some of the most important parts of my life that made me who I am today." Honeypaw thought for a second and said, "You had to find your light again, didn't you?" Fireheart nodded. Spottedleaf mewed, "Fireheart, even with only eight lives, you won't lose a single one unless you want to. You are truly immortal."

Fireheart mewed with a sad expression, "True. Maybe I don't need the ninth life. Because a part of me did die that day by saving Hollyleaf's life. The part of me that died was the part where Dovewing and I loved one another. But I fucked it up. I do still love her. But I don't think she feels the same anymore. I guess that would be like losing a life." Spottedleaf mewed, "You're gonna get your ninth life back. I believe in you." Splashfur looked at the two in disbelief and asked, "I thought only Leaders had multiple lives!" Fireheart looked at Splashfur and mewed, "Oh right! I should tell you the truth. My name is actually Firestar, and I'm the Leader of Lionclan. I am also the one who gave Silverstream, Grayclaw, Ferncloud, Specklepelt, and yourself; your Warrior Names." Splashfur's eyes went wide in disbelief as she began to remember more. Fireheart purred quietly as strength flowed through his body and he said, "Now you're starting to remember more about the truth. I wonder if you remember that one night. Probably not yet. That will probably be the last thing you remember, because you are pure and innocent. Which is absolutely adorable. For the time being, unless we are alone with others who remember who I am, please call me Fireheart." Splashfur was in disbelief and she said, "Firestar…. Firestar. Firestar! That name flows much smoother than Fireheart. Calling you Fireheart didn't seem natural. I am glad I was right."

Fireheart chuckled. Jayfeather said, "Guess who's finally awake after three days. God you're a dumbass sometimes Fireheart." Fireheart laughed and said, "I missed you too Jayfeather." Jayfeather shook his head and sighed as he said, "You had all of us worried sick, Fireheart. Next time a plan of yours could go off the rails like this, warn us."

Fireheart chuckled and said, "Well. I used the Heavenly Drive when I wasn't ready. I had no choice but to use it. An old foe reappeared. The same foe that almost resulted in my first death." Mistystar had walked into the medicine den and her eyes went wide as she saw Fireheart was up. She tackled him to the ground. The pair rolled around on the ground and Fireheart ended up on top and pinned Mistystar. Fireheart purred quietly and said, "I missed you too Mistystar." Mistystar purred loudly and Splashfur looked at them and giggled. Mistystar looked at Splashfur and Splashfur mewed, "I know now. Glad to be back with the rest of you."

Fireheart looked at the group around him and said, "Splashfur has not remembered that one night. I am sure you all know, except Spottedleaf and Jayfaether, the night I am talking about. So, I have not recovered all of my lost strength from Splashfur. Which is fine. She will remember again eventually. Let's go let the clan know I am back in the fight." Spottedleaf walked over to Fireheart and brushed her flank against his. Honeypaw looked at her and mewed, "Seems like you finally told him." Spottedleaf nodded her head and purred quietly.

Fireheart walked out of the Medicine Den, Honeypaw, Splashfur, Mistystar, and Spottedleaf by his side. Fireheart walked up to Highledge and yowled, "LET ALL CATS OLD ENOUGH TO CATCH THEIR OWN PREY, MEET UNDER HIGHLEDGE FOR A CLAN MEETING!" Thunderclan grouped up below him and he heard Cloudtail say, "FIREHEART IS BACK! HELL YEAH!" Bramblestar padded out of the Leader's Den, curiosity clear in his eyes at who called a clan meeting when he saw Fireheart. Bramblestar laughed and said, "Welcome back. I suppose you called the meeting to let the clan know. You had a couple unique visitors while you were out. To be specific, they were Heathertail and Olivenose. They came almost daily to come talk to you, but found you in your unconscious state." Fireheart blushed lightly at those words and said, "I guess I should go let them know I am back after I announce to Thunderclan I am back." Bramblestar chuckled and walked down to join the rest of the clan.

Fireheart looked down at Thunderclan and smiled as he said, "That's right, Thunderclan. You heard Cloudtail. I am back in the fight! And I feel like a new cat! It's time for the truth to come out!" Mistystar's eyes went wide from fear but she heard Fireheart's thoughts and sighed in relief. Thunderclan looked at Fireheart curiously. Fireheart chuckled and said, "My name is not actually Fireheart." Most of Thunderclan gasped in disbelief and he continued, "My name is actually Firestar. And I am the Leader of Lionclan. I already told Riverclan and here is why I am the Leader of Lionclan." Fireheart ignited his pelt with white flames and he said, "Fire will save the clans! I am the fire that will save the clans. Do not call me Firestar unless we are around cats who know who I am. I figured it was time to tell you all the truth." Thunderclan looked up at him in awe and he said, "The extra den in each clan is mine! All of the clans built me one so I can travel to each clan and keep the peace while having a place to rest in all the clans! That is why the den feels important! Because it is! It is my Leader's Den! Meeting dismissed!" Fireheart walked down from the Leader's den and began to leave Thunderclan's camp.

Fireheart walked towards the Shadowclan border and sat down to wait for a patrol. He heard a patrol approaching and he saw Blackstar, Olivenose, Tawnypelt, and Smokefoot. Olivenose saw him and her eyes lit up immediately as she rushed over the border and tackled him. They rolled on the ground on Thunderclan territory and Fireheart ended up on top. Blackstar looked at them and chuckled. Smokefoot said in disgust, "Get over here Olivenose. Tackling a Thunderclan cat on their own territory is means for them to attack us!" Blackstar looked at Smokefoot and said, "Hush. You've clearly forgotten some important things. Be quiet unless you know what you're talking about." Smokefoot looked at his leader in disbelief and Fireheart kept Olivenose pinned playfully and mewed, "So. You do remember." Blackstar mewed, "Yes. I know who you are, Fireheart. I remember everything. I do not know why I do, but I am glad I do. I was able to send Olivenose to Thunderclan to talk to you about some things that have been worrying her. But you weren't awake. Why?" Fireheart replied honestly, "I fought an army that was attacking Riverclan alone. I passed my limits by a long shot. I just woke up less than a couple hours ago. I had to deal with some… things in my unconscious state." Blackstar nodded in understanding and Olivenose mewed, "I am so glad to see you're okay, Fireheart!" Smokefoot curled his lips in disgust and said, "She clearly loves that Thunderclan filth. Banish her Blackstar!" Fireheart unpinned Olivenose and approached Smokefoot, anger obvious; and he got in Smokefoot's face and hissed, "If you have something to say, say it to my face." Smokefoot growled angrily and spat, "Get out of my face, Fireheart. Or you're gonna get hurt." Fireheart hissed, "No. You're clearly a piece of shit who doesn't know respect. So what if Olivenose cares about a Thunderclan cat. Her clan loyalty is unwavered." Smokefoot hissed, "If she loves a Thunderclan Cat, her clan loyalty is wavering! Banish her Blackstar!" Fireheart growled angrily and Blackstar said, "No. I will not banish her. If you have a problem, challenge the leader of the clan to a fight." Smokefoot hissed, "Fine! I challenge the Leader of Shadowclan to a fight." Blackstar chuckled and said, "Big mistake pal. Because I may be the leader of Shadowclan, but I am not the leader of the clan as a whole." Smokefoot eyes went wide in disbelief and Blackstar said, "Teach him a lesson, Firestar. But don't kill him." Fireheart smirked and hissed, "Happily."

Fireheart backed up from Smokefoot, his fur standing up on end and he hissed, "Come on. Fight me. Or, are you scared?" Smokefoot looked at Fireheart and he hissed, "What clan are you the leader of?" Fireheart flashed an angry grin and mewed, "I am the Leader of Lionclan. And before you ask, Lionclan is all four clans combined into one. Which means that even though Olivenose loves me, she still loves a cat from her clan." Smokefoot growled and leapt at Fireheart. Fireheart dodged and clawed Smokefoot's flanks. Smokefoot growled angrily and leapt at Fireheart and clawed Fireheart's legs. Smokefoot's eyes went wide in disbelief as the wound healed in a flash of fire. Fireheart replied calmly, "Oh right! I am fire. And fire will save the clans." Smokefoot growled and leapt again. Fireheart met him mid-air and threw Smokefoot to the ground harshly. Smokefoot coughed in pain and Fireheart asked, "Do you submit?" Smokefoot hissed, "Never!" Fireheart sighed and said, "Fine. Guess I will just have to break every bone in your body. I really wanted this to be a peaceful quarrel. I hate being violent. But the only way idiots learn is from violence." Smokefoot growled and got to his paws.

Smokefoot tried to feign a left claw, but Fireheart was one step ahead and dodged right and ran his claws down Smokefoot's flank. Blood splattered the ground. Smokefoot growled in anger and went to attack Fireheart, only to catch a closed paw to the face. Everyone's eyes went wide in awe as Fireheart punched Smokefoot. Tawnypelt asked, "What in the world was that? That was unlike any attack I have ever seen." Fireheart replied, "Just a part of my own fighting tactics. A move I created." Smokefoot got to his paws and shook his head, dazed from the punch. Fireheart said, "Wanna try again? Maybe the next one will find its mark." Smokefoot growled and leapt at Fireheart again. Fireheart sidestepped the leap and leapt at Smokefoot from behind and forced him to the ground.

Fireheart wrapped his paws around Smokefoot's throat from behind, on top of Smokefoot's back and began to apply pressure to Smokefoot's neck. Smokefoot began to try and get Fireheart off of him, but Fireheart didn't budge and kept applying pressure. Smokefoot's struggles began to become weaker and weaker until he didn't move anymore. Blackstar asked, "Did you kill him?! I am going to assume those attacks were a part of your own moves." Fireheart got off of Smokefoot and said, "No. He just passed out from lack of oxygen. He is still alive, just unconscious. I didn't apply enough pressure to kill him. But he is gonna have to be carried back to Shadowclan. Glad to know you remember who I actually am, Blackstar. And yes. They are a part of my own moves." Tawnypelt mewed, "I remember as well. It's weird. Seems like most of Shadowclan has forgotten who you are, Firestar." Fireheart replied, "Glad that some of the Forest still remembers." Fireheart rested his emerald green eyes on Olivenose and Olivenose felt her heart skip a beat. Fireheart mewed, "I heard you came to visit me." Olivenose replied slowly, "Of course I did. I was worried! At least I was worried for nothing."

Fireheart mewed, "I also have to go tell Heathertail I am awake." Olivenose said, "Yeah. She and I came to see you at the same time. So we had time to get to know each other. Which is a good thing for obvious reasons." Fireheart chuckled and said, "Yeah. Glad you two get along. Otherwise, the whole, well, you know. The whole thing would be difficult if the she-cats didn't get along." Blackstar purred in amusement and said, "I think the reason I remembered you is because of the second chance you gave me. The only reason I talked about taking your den down is because everyone seemed to forget who you are." Fireheart replied, "Most likely. Speaking of which. I wonder where he is." Blackstar became curious and asked, "Where who is?"

Fireheart replied, "When I was unconscious, I gave someone a second chance. They should be able to find me whenever they want. It was an old foe who regretted the past. Oh well. I am sure he will show his face sometime or another. I gotta go to Windclan now." Fireheart began to walk away when Olivenose asked, "Can I go with? I wouldn't mind seeing Heathertail again." Fireheart looked at Blackstar and Blackstar chuckled and said, "You don't need my permission for something like that Fireheart. You are the Leader of Lionclan after all." Firehaert replied, "True. But I refuse to take the responsibilities, duties, etc. from any of the present or future leaders of the four separate clans of Lionclan." Blackstar smiled and said, "How respectful. I appreciate that. You can go with him, Olivenose. He seems like a good Tom." Olivenose mewed, "He is a good Tom. Thank you Blackstar." Blackstar smiled again

Olivenose and Fireheart walked to the Windclan border. They sat down at the border and shared tongues. Once they finished, Olivenose asked, "What happened to you in your unconscious state?" Fireheart replied, "I was in a time loop of my life. I went through some of the most important parts of my life that made me who I am today." Olivenose looked at him in understanding and got as close to Fireheart as she could, their flanks brushing. Fireheart let it happen and Olivenose rested her head on his shoulder as she mewed, "Please don't ever leave me like that again. I was worried I was going to lose you." Fireheart's heart began to beat faster and he replied, "You won't ever lose me. I will always come back to the forest, no matter what." Olivenose left her head on Fireheart's shoulder, breathing in his scent and she purred quietly as she said, "Good. Can we stay like this? At least until a patrol comes." Fireheart replied wholeheartedly, "Of course. I'd like that."

Fireheart and Olivenose stayed like that until they heard a patrol. Olivenose had fallen asleep, her head resting on Fireheart's shoulder. He didn't move when the patrol approached him. It consisted of Nightcloud, Antpelt, Leaftail, and Onestar. Nightcloud looked at the two cats in disgust and asked, "How is that traitorous bastard Crowfeather?" Fireheart looked at her and mewed, "He's finally happy. Something that you failed to do. Are you finally realizing how great of a Tom that Crowfeather was and now you regret treating him like complete shit? How does it feel to know that you made Breezepelt, your own kit, an abusive prick with the way you treated Crowfeather?" Nightcloud hissed angrily and was ready to leap into battle when Onestar mewed with authority, "Stand down Nightcloud!" Nightcloud looked at her leader and growled, but didn't leap into battle. Onestar looked at Fireheart and Olivenose. He mewed, "You do know that Olivenose is a Shadowclan cat, right? I believe her falling asleep on your shoulder is a sign that she completely trusts you when she should really only trust a member of Shadowclan as much as she clearly trusts you." Fireheart immediately thought of a lie and replied, "I know. She came to Thunderclan to talk to Bramblestar and Bramblestar sent me with her to take a walk so she could relieve stress while making sure she didn't take prey. She needed to rest because she has been worried sick over someone and hadn't been sleeping much because of it. I told her she could fall asleep on my shoulder if she needed to. Please don't wake her. She seems to be comfortable and she is getting some much needed rest."

Antpelt looked at Fireheart and Olivenose with a knowing look and mewed, "Heathertail has been meaning to talk to you Fireheart. She went to Thunderclan a lot these past three days to talk to you about something but you were always asleep. But I distinctly remember hearing a roar from Riverclan territory about four days ago. And I only know of one cat that could roar that loud so we could hear it from Windclan. He knows who he is." Fireheart looked at Antpelt and said, "It was me. I was fighting an entire army. They almost killed me." Antpelt mewed, "I don't doubt it. But why would one cat fight against an army alone? Wait! Let me take a completely wild guess. Fire will save the clans?" Fireheart asked, "How do you know that?" Antpelt mewed, "Stripestar made an error when said he was sent from Starclan on the day of the Great Battle. As far as I know, I am the only one who figured it out. Maybe Kestrelflight did as well." Onestar looked at Antpelt curiously and said, "Well. I suppose you want to go let my daughter, who is my only kit, know you're okay, Fireheart." Fireheart nodded and said, "I will carry Olivenose on my back. I just got a feeling she won't wake up." Fireheart thought to himself, 'She won't wake up unless I wake her, because she is in my presence which relaxes her just as much as it relaxes the rest of the she-cats in my harem. It takes a lot to wake them up; except for Spottedleaf it seems; unless I do it, for some strange reason when they sleep with or around me. I do not know why that is.' Onestar eyed Fireheart curiously and nodded in understanding.

Fireheart put Olivenose on his back gently and began to let the Windclan patrol lead him to Windclan's camp, while keeping a close eye on Nightcloud in case she attacked him. Fireheart kept Olivenose on his back as they walked into Windclan's camp. Onestar called, "Heathertail! You have a guest!" Heathertail walked out of the Warrior's Den and looked at her father. Her eyes caught Fireheart's face and her smoky, heather-blue eyes lit up as she raced over. Fireheart looked at her and smiled as he mewed, "I heard you were looking for me." Heathertail saw Olivenose on Fireheart's back and realized that she was asleep. Heathertail asked, "Father. Can I take a walk with Fireheart? I have to talk to him about something." Fireheart mewed, "And I would prefer to keep Olivenose on my back because of… reasons." Fireheart looked directly at Nightcloud as he said that and Nightcloud growled angrily and hissed, ready to fight. Onestar mewed once more, "Stand down Nightcloud! His concern is understandable! He clearly doesn't trust you!" Nightcloud growled loudly, fur on end, and Fireheart mewed calmly, "You could attack me. But you'd lose. Take what's left of your dignity, if there is anything left, and get the hell away from me." Nightcloud hissed, clearly angry. Her hind legs bunched in anticipation as she readied herself to leap at him. Breezepelt tackled his mother before she could spring into action and pinned her.

Breezepelt looked at Fireheart with a knowing look and said, "Leave him alone, Nightcloud." Fireheart looked at him curiously and said, "I see. I heard you talked to a young version of Firestar on the day of the Great Battle." Breezepelt replied, "Yeah. I did. It was quite strange. Especially since he said I would meet you on the journey to the Sun-Drown Place like he knew it was going to happen, because it happened before." Breezepelt unpinned his mother and walked over to Fireheart and whispered, "I know it was you, Firestar." Fireheart looked at him and asked quietly, "And have you been doing what I told you to do?" Breezepelt nodded and replied quietly, "Yeah. I have. I appreciate the second chance to live my life correctly. I have even been able to chat casually with Heathertail and get to know her better. But we never did anything besides share tongues from time to time. I can't believe I was just like my mother." Fireheart smiled and whispered, "Good. You seem to be at least a little deserving of my Respect now. Keep it up." Breezepelt nodded and backed away. Fireheart looked at Breezepelt with Respect and mewed, "So." Onestar mewed, "Yeah. You can go on a walk with Fireheart, Heathertail. Hunt for the clan on your way back." Heathertail beamed and mewed, "Thank you, Onestar. And I will."

Fireheart walked out of Windclan with Heathertail, Olivenose still on his back. Once they were out of earshot, Heathertail mewed, "I remember a bit, Fireheart. I remember you used to be a Twoleg. I remember you defending me from Breezepelt. I remember you telling me that I deserve better. I also remember you jumped off the mountain to save Mistystar's, Stormfur's, and my own lives. Which didn't happen when we went to the Mountain for some reason." Fireheart replied, "That's my fault. I messed with the natural course of history." Heathertail's eyes went wide and he continued, "Hollyleaf was supposed to die on the day of the Great Battle. I saved her life, which changed the natural course History was supposed to take." Heathertail's eyes stayed wide in disbelief.

There we go! Another chapter. Almost as long as the previous chapter. May Starclan watch over you all.
