Well. Chapter 7 was something. See you all at the end of the chapter.

Chapter 8: Honeypaw Gets a Vision about Fireheart

Heathertail was looking at Fireheart in disbelief at what he said. Olivenose was still asleep on Fireheart's back. Heathertail mewed, "T-The young Firestar that talked to Breezepelt, i-it was actually you?" Fireheart looked at her and mewed, "Yeah. Yeah it was. And when you remember why, you'll forgive me." Heathertail looked at him and asked, "Why don't you just tell me why?" Fireheart replied, "Because. It's hard to explain. But trust me when I say you'll remember it." Heathertail mewed, "If you told him to leave me alone, you must've had a good reason." Fireheart replied, "I did have a good reason. And you will remember it eventually." Heathertail looked at him and nodded in understanding and asked, "Why did you save Hollyleaf's life?" Fireheart replied, "I made a promise to Jayfeather that I would do it. And I don't break a promise, no matter what it may cost me, even if my promise could result in me losing my life, just like my promise to Jayfeather did. I may have lost my life by saving Hollyleaf's life." Heathertail nodded in understanding.

Fireheart mewed, "We should get back to our clans. I appreciate you coming to check on me while I was out of the fight." Heathertail replied, "Of course. You seem like you may have been an important part of my life at some point." Fireheart chuckled and said as he walked away, "If you only knew the half of it." Heathertail watched him walk away, curiosity clear in her heather-blue eyes.

Fireheart walked back to Thunderclan, Olivenose still on his back. He was welcomed back warmly. Fireheart walked into his den, Olivenose still on his back, and set her down gently in his mossbed. He looked at the sun and saw it was past sun-high. Fireheart looked around and noticed Squirrelflight. He walked over and asked, "Anything for me to do?" Squirrelflight looked at him and purred quietly. She replied, "Everything seems to be taken care of, Fireheart. Why? Feeling antsy? You need to relax, mousebrain. You just woke up. You haven't even eaten yet." Fireheart chuckled and said, "Still being the deputy I see. You should be in the Nursery, getting ready to give birth for the first time. You're nearing the day. I can tell." Fireheart used his tail to point to Squirrelflight's stomach. Squirrelflight mewed, "And if I do that, who would act as deputy? You can't because you haven't had an apprentice yet!" Fireheart replied, "There are plenty of more experienced Warriors. Graystripe, Lionblaze, Cinderheart, Spiderleg, Cloudtail, Hollyleaf, Ivypool, Dovewing, Brackenfur, Brightheart, Whitewing, Birchfall. Need I go on?" Squirrelflight purred in amusement and said, "No. I get it. Alright. Let me go talk to Bramblestar." Fireheart smiled and said, "Good. I will be awaiting the clan meeting to announce the acting deputy until you're ready to act as Deputy again." Fireheart walked to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a couple of mice and a pheasant for himself. He carried his mouthful of prey to the Nursery.

Windstream raised her head and purred as she saw Fireheart walk in carrying prey. Fireheart dropped the mice in front of Windstream. Fireheart asked, "Is Flowerkit able to eat solid food yet?" Windstream purred as she nodded and mewed, "Yeah. She can. But she hasn't yet." Fireheart purred loudly and grabbed a mouse he dropped in front of Windstream and dropped it in front of Flowerkit. He dropped the pheasant he grabbed for himself in front of Windstream to replace the mouse. Fireheart laid on his stomach in front of Flowerkit and mewed slowly, "It's much better than you think, Flowerkit. Give the mouse a taste." Flowerkit eyed her father curiously. Windstream looked at the two and purred quietly in amusement as she watched Fireheart try to get Flowerkit to take a bite of mouse. Fireheart's tail was moving from side to side and Flowerkit's eyes rested on her father's tail, her eyes darting from side to side; watching Fireheart's tail move closely, playfulness clear in her eyes. Fireheart noticed and thought of an idea. He said, "If you take a bite of that mouse, I will let you play with my tail." Flowerkit jumped, clearly excited, and began to eat the mouse slowly. Windstream watched Fireheart and said, "I knew you'd be a great father." Fireheart purred quietly and said, "And you're a great mother."

Flowerkit had finished the mouse, much to Fireheart's surprise. Fireheart chuckled and said, "I am going to be taking Flowerkit out of the Nursery so she has plenty of room to play with my tail." Windstream purred quietly and said, "Alright. Thanks for the food, Dear." Fireheart replied, "Of course. Anytime." Flowerkit followed her father out of the Nursery.

Fireheart stayed within view so Windstream could just look out of the entrance of the Nursery to make sure Flowerkit was still there. Fireheart put his tail on the ground and began to move it side to side. Flowerkit's eyes followed the tail and she dropped into the Hunter's Crouch, as best as she could, and leapt at Fireheart's tail. She overshot it by a couple mouse-lengths and landed. Fireheart purred in amusement and began to flick his tail side to side. Fireheart didn't notice the crowd around him, watching him play with his daughter. Flowerkit got to her paws shakily and reassumed the Hunter's Crouch. She began to pad towards Fireheart's tail gently and slowly, trying to not make noise. Fireheart was shocked and he thought, 'Oh my god. She has almost perfected the Hunter's Crouch as a kit! How?! And she isn't making much noise at all. Impressive.' Flowerkit leapt at Fireheart's tail and landed on it. She began to bat and play with his tail. Fireheart purred in amusement and kept moving his tail side to side, causing Flowerkit to gently roll over and get to her paws again. Fireheart looked around and realized that at least half of the clan was watching him play with his daughter. Fireheart licked his chest fur a couple of times from embarrassment and said, "Nothing to see here. Just helping my daughter get rid of some energy as there are no other kits for her to play with." Bramblestar purred in amusement and said, "What you're doing is admirable and respectable. Nothing to be embarrassed about." Fireheart watched his daughter play with his tail and he purred loudly.

Fireheart let Flowerkit play with his tail for a couple hours before Flowerkit yawned. Fireheart smiled and picked Flowerkit up by the scruff of her neck gently and carried her back into the Nursery. Windstream looked at them and purred quietly as Fireheart gently set Flowerkit down next to her mother. Fireheart kissed both Windstream's and Flowerkit's head gently and muttered, "I love you." To both of them. Windstream mewed, "Thank you for taking her outside to play. She had a lot of built up energy because there is no one else to play with her." Fireheart smiled and said, "Of course. I understand entirely." Bramblestar called for a clan meeting and Fireheart walked out of the Nursery. He sat down with the rest of the clan. Bramblestar said, "I have to choose an acting Deputy, because Squirrelflight is nearing the day she gives birth!" Yowls of congratulations were heard and Fireheart purred happily for Bramblestar and Squirrelflight. Bramblestar mewed, "The acting Deputy, will be…." Fireheart thought to himself, 'Please not me. Starclan, please not me!' Bramblestar said, "Hollyleaf!" Fireheart sighed in relief and yowled a cheer of agreement. Hollyleaf looked around, slightly overwhelmed. Fireheart yowled, "Hollyleaf! Hollyleaf! Hollyleaf!" The rest of the clan joined him and Hollyleaf purred quietly. Squirrelflight walked over to the Nursery past Fireheart and whispered to him, "Bramblestar almost chose you. I had to intervene. I know you have much more important stuff on your plate, like reuniting your Clan. Expect Hollyleaf to come ask you for help when she needs it." Fireheart looked shocked and asked quietly, "Why the hell would he even consider choosing me?! I have not even had an apprentice yet!" Squirrelflight walked away into the Nursery, not answering Fireheart's question.

Hollyleaf walked over to Fireheart and whispered, "Sorry that I took it from you." Fireheart looked at her and chuckled quietly as he replied, "It is perfectly fine. I have not even had an apprentice yet. I have more important stuff to worry about right now, like reuniting Lionclan into one. No need to apologize. You deserve the role of Deputy much more than I do, Ms. Follows the Warrior Code to a T." Hollyleaf replied quietly, "I don't exactly consider myself following the Warrior Code to a T. Jayfeather and I are together after all. Incest and Medicine Cat. Forbidden love." Fireheart replied quietly, "Forbidden Love really does happen with Thunderclan all the damn time, doesn't it. Honeypaw and me. Mistystar and me. Heathertail and me. Spottedleaf and me. You and Jayfeather. Graystripe and Silverstream; from Riverclan; Firestar and Spottedleaf. Jayfeather and Half-Moon. Lionblaze and Heathertail. Dovewing and Tigerheart. I can keep going, but we'd be here all day."

Hollyleaf looked at him, awestricken and asked, "H-How do you know all of those past forbidden loves?" Fireheart replied immediately, "Stories from the Elders." Hollyleaf looked at him curiously. Fireheart kept his breathing steady and his heart beat normal to hide the fact he was lying. Hollyleaf couldn't detect that Fireheart was lying and mewed, "Alright. I have to go make the border patrols now. And you need to realize you, Heathertail, and Mistystar are not against the Warrior Code. Since we are all one clan, you all still love a cat from your clan." Hollyleaf left Fireheart's side and walked up the Highledge to make border patrols for the night. Fireheart watched Olivenose leave Thunderclan. He assumed she was heading back to Shadowclan.

Fireheart led his patrol which consisted of Dustpelt, Crowfeather, Leafpool, and Sandstorm to the Shadowclan border. Sandstorm was padding uncomfortably close to Fireheart. Fireheart asked her quietly, "Why are you so close? Not trying to be rude, but I am curious." Sandstorm looked at him and replied quietly, "I know who and what you are, Firestar. You may not be my Firestar, but you look exactly like him. I guess your presence soothes my heartache. I remember everything from the day of the Great Battle. You were there. As was Silverstream and Honeypaw. Why would you lie to your clanmates about being from the Tribe of Rushing Water?" Fireheart looked at her and decided to come clean. He said, "I lied to my clanmates so I could prevent Tigerstar from mistaking me as the actual Firestar. It would have saved Firestar's life, but doing that would've fucked up history to an irreparable state. Bramblestar would still be Brambleclaw and he would not trust Squirrelflight at all. Firestar would still be alive and well, and unable to join Spottedleaf in Starclan. Breezepelt would be abusing Heathertail as we speak. Hawkfrost would've killed Hollyleaf. I might not have even been named Firekit. Hell. I might not even have been born. Every single decision I made in the past, even the smallest ones like how many steps I took, has altered the future and changed the natural course History was supposed to take because I was not supposed to be there." Sandstorm looked at him and said, "You had no choice. I know it hurt you being unable to save Firestar's life. I could tell from your tone of voice. But at least you saved my granddaughter's life, Hollyleaf. And you saved Spottedleaf's life as well. And you saved my niece's life, Ivypool. You saved a lot of lives that day." Fireheart replied sadly, "True. But a part of me died that day."

Sandstorm asked, "What do you mean?" Fireheart replied, "It's complicated to explain, Sandstorm. Just know a part of me was lost and died that day, never able to be recovered." Sandstorm looked at him, curiosity clear in her eyes, but she didn't pry. Fireheart and his patrol remarked the borders on the Shadowclan border. They walked back only to hear a cat growl behind them. Fireheart whirled around swift as fire spread in dry weather and looked at Smokefoot. Smokefoot growled, "We have some unfinished business, Firestar." Only Dustpelt looked at Smokefoot in confusion. Fireheart mewed calmly, "Didn't learn your lesson the first time? Everyone. Stay behind me. That's an order." Dustpelt opened his mouth to argue, but Sandstorm shook her head no and Dustpelt closed his mouth and walked backwards with the rest of the border patrol.

Fireheart mewed calmly, "Does this have to get bloody? I went easy on you last time. I will do no such thing this time. Take what's left of your dignity, turn tail, and run away with your tail tucked between your hind legs." Smokefoot chuckled and hissed, "Says the one who loves multiple she-cats. And some of them are from other clans. You have no dignity left, Thunderclan filth." Fireheart's body tensed in anticipation. Fireheart looked into Smokefoot's eyes and said, "I tried. Like I said before. The only way that idiots actually learn is from violence. No more mercy! You will learn to respect me while at the same time, as much as I hate to say it, you will also learn to fear me in due time. I do not want any cat in the forest to fear me, but you've left me no choice." Fireheart ignited his pelt with white flames.

Smokefoot looked at Fireheart and gulped quietly and hissed, "Bring it." Fireheart shook his head in disbelief and rushed forwards. He said over his shoulder, "Someone go get Lionstar. It's time this mousebrain learns who he is fighting." Dustpelt took off running to Thunderclan's camp.

Fireheart blocked a claw from Smokefoot with his front legs, blood trickling down slowly. Smokefoot was in shock and Fireheart sprinted forwards and clawed Smokefoot's left flank. Scarlet splattered the ground. Fireheart then rammed his shoulder into Smokefoot's left flank, knocking Smokefoot into the air. Fireheart sprinted towards a tree and climbed up swiftly and leapt at Smokefoot, and knocked him aggressively into the ground. Smokefoot coughed in pain, the wind knocked out of him. Fireheart landed gracefully in front of Smokefoot and mewed calmly, "Do you submit?" Smokefoot spat, "Never. I will be the end of you!" Smokefoot got to his paws shakily.

Fireheart mewed, "Tigerstar must have his icy grasp on you. I am so sorry." Smokefoot spat, "So what if he does?" Fireheart replied slowly, "If you are a pawn of Tigerstar's, I have no choice but to exile you from the clans." Smokefoot cackled and said, "You can't do that. Lionclan is not fully reunited, Firestar." Fireheart replied, "Maybe so. But Blackstar remembers me." Smokefoot cackled and said, "You think he'd listen to Thunderclan scum like you over his own clanmate?" Fireheart replied, "Only one way to find out." Fireheart heard pawsteps fast approaching and smiled as he watched Lionstar run to his side.

Lionstar asked, clearly angry, "Did this bastard lay his disgusting claws on you?!" Fireheart purred quietly at her anger and mewed, "No. But I figured he should learn who he was fighting." Lionstar looked at Smokefoot and growled deeply. Fireheart rested his tail on Lionstar's back, and she slowly calmed down. Fireheart mewed, "Now Stripestar." Fire surrounded Fireheart, Lionstar, and Smokefoot. Stripestar left Fireheart's soul and took a solid form next to him. Stripestar looked at Lionstar and mewed, "Long time, no see. Is Fireheart treating you right?" Lionstar replied, "Yeah. I haven't had a turn though." She then teased, "I think it's because he's afraid he can't handle a Lioness." Fireheart chuckled and replied, "I know I can handle a Lioness. I don't think you can handle me. Anyhow. How about we let this pawn of Tigerstar know who he's fighting." Stripestar rested his gaze on Smokefoot and growled, "This young warrior is protected by the original Leaders of Lionclan and Tigerclan. No matter what you may do to him, even break his bones, he will win the fight. He is truly unbeatable. He should be reckoned as an unstoppable force and immovable wall that will always protect the Forest."

Lionstar said to Smokefoot, clearly still angry, even with Fireheart's tail on her back, "If you so much as lay a single one of your disgusting and tainted claws on him, and I find out about it; I will hunt you down and teach you a lesson you won't forget. No one hurts him, or they shall face the wrath of an angered Lioness. He is my mate, and I am his. I am giving him my own protection, even if I am no longer a member of Starclan." Smokefoot gulped in fear and looked at Fireheart. Fireheart mewed, "You see. Basically, what they are saying is that no matter what may happen, I will always win the fight; even if I should be dead. I have had my throat slit before, and I still won that fight, all without losing my life nonetheless. I am what is known as the Heavenly Cat of Hope. I am also known as Fire. And Fire will save the clans. I am the protector of the forest and the eight clans. Now. Do you still want to fight? Or are you smart?" Smokefoot hissed, "You don't scare me." Fireheart sighed and said, "You're either insanely brave, or insanely stupid. I think it's the latter of the two." The fire surrounding them vanished and Stripestar reentered Fireheart's soul.

Fireheart and Lionstar stood side by side as Smokefoot got to his paws. Smokefoot growled angrily and leapt at Fireheart. Fireheart batted him away. Smokefoot was sent into a tree. Fireheart left his claws in his paws and Smokefoot hissed, "Scared to hurt me?" Fireheart replied, "I will do my best to leave you as unscathed as possible, unless I have no other choice. I don't need to taint my claws with your blood." Smokefoot hissed and doubled his efforts to strike Fireheart, to no avail.

Fireheart dodged another attack. He blocked another with one front leg and countered with a full force closed paw. Smokefoot was sent flying into a tree harshly and lay there, unmoving. Fireheart shook his paw and hissed quietly, "Stupid paw. I need to get them used to punching." Fireheart walked over to Smokefoot and rested his ear on Smokefoot's chest and sighed in relief as he heard Smokefoot's heart beating. Fireheart began to walk into Shadowclan's territory after picking up Smokefoot's limp body and putting it on his back. Dustpelt asked, "Where do you think you're going?" Fireheart replied over his shoulder, "Returning this warrior to his clan so Blackstar can decide what to do with him. I will be fine."

Fireheart padded towards Shadowclan's camp and a sweet voice reached his ears. He turned his head and purred quietly as Olivenose walked over and said, "Sorry you had to deal with him yet again." Fireheart replied, "It isn't your fault. Besides, Smokefoot is another of Tigerstar's pawns. I am sure the forest is full of them. Blackstar needs to decide what to do with Smokefoot." Olivenose's eyes went wide. She opened her mouth to say something. Fireheart kissed her head gently and said, "It isn't your fault. I promise." Olivenose purred lightly and closed her mouth.

Blackstar greeted Fireheart at the entrance to Shadowclan. He asked, "What can I do for you, Fireheart?" Fireheart replied, "Your Warrior attacked me again." Fireheart used his tail to point to Smokefoot. Blackstar sighed and said, "My apologies." Fireheart mewed, "No worries. However, I did find out he is one of Tigerstar's pawns." Blackstar's eyes went wide and Fireheart mewed, "What you do to him, is up to you. As long as it's within reason." Blackstar said, "The only thing I can think of is exile. Because we don't want him to report stuff back to Tigerstar about the clans." Fireheart replied, "You sure? We may be able to convert him so he becomes a double spy like Ivypool used to be." Blackstar asked, "And how do you suggest we go about that? Ivypool wasn't a bad cat. I do not believe Smokefoot is a bad cat either, but what if he betrays us?" Fireheart replied, "I will make sure he doesn't betray us. I have friends in… shall I say high places." Blackstar chuckled and sighed as he said, "Your forgiveness might be your downfall, Fireheart." Fireheart replied, "You might be right. But that is a risk I will have to take." Blackstar nodded in understanding and asked, "Where should I send him when he wakes up?" Fireheart replied, "Straight to the Thunderclan border tomorrow. I will be waiting there with my friends in high places." Blackstar nodded in understanding and he asked, "Are you sure you don't want me to exile him?"

Fireheart mewed, "Yes. I am sure. It may take a long time, but I will get him to convert." Blackstar nodded in understanding.

Fireheart left Shadowclan's camp shortly after his chat with Blackstar. Fireheart hunted for Thunderclan as he walked back. He arrived at the entrance and dropped all of his freshkill except a squirrel on the Freshkill pile. He ate the squirrel and walked to his den. His harem was already in it and welcomed him warmly. Fireheart purred quietly and mewed, "Well. Welcome back Splashfur." The she-cats warmly welcomed her back. She asked, "Where's Dovewing?" Fireheart's heart dropped at that name and he sighed sadly as he said, "She probably won't be coming back to us. I fucked up. I kept a secret I should not have kept, and she heard me talking to Mistystar about it the night Mistystar and I mated. You all know it now." The she-cats nodded and Fireheart sighed again and he said, "As long as she is happy, I will be fine. We all will be fine. Let's wish her happiness." The entire group mewed their agreement.

Fireheart fell asleep, his harem around him. He opened his eyes and saw Sharptooth. Sharptooth said, "I have found you." Fireheart smiled weakly and said, "Yes. Yes you have. Good timing. Because I am going to need you to come with me to the Shadowclan border tomorrow." Sharptooth asked, "Fight?" Fireheart answered, "No. We gotta convince someone to become a double spy for us." Sharptooth's eyes became full of curiosity and he said, "And who might that be?" Fireheart replied, "A Shadowclan Warrior by the name of Smokefoot. Tigerstar has his icy grip on the poor bastard. I want to try and bring him back to the Path of Hope and Light, instead of letting him go down the Path of Domination and Darkness with Tigerstar. Everyone, within reason, deserves a Second Chance."

Sharptooth said, "That is true. Alright. I will help you." Fireheart smiled and said, "Good. Until tomorrow, Sharptooth." Sharptooth nodded and vanished. Fireheart looked around as a Twoleg Nest came into view. Fireheart sighed and muttered, "Will I ever be free of my past?" Fireheart walked towards the Twoleg Nest, his mind on Dovewing.

Fireheart woke up the next morning, several injuries on his body. Jin had managed to hurt him quite a bit in his dream, because Fireheart was thinking about Dovewing, instead of being focused. Fireheart looked his body over and noticed Spottedleaf was not in his den at the moment. He stretched and left his den quietly. Fireheart walked towards the Medicine Den. Spottedleaf went to greet him, when she saw his body. She bolted over and began to check Fireheart over. Spottedleaf asked, "What happened to you?!" Fireheart replied quietly, "The same dream. Except I was thinking about Dovewing, instead of being focused; which resulted in me getting hit much more than usual. I also almost got shot." Spottedleaf went to the Medicine Storage.

After Spottedleaf had tended to Fireheart's injuries, he walked out of the Medicine Den and he looked at the Warrior's Den as Dovewing and Bumblestripe walked out. Fireheart thought about going over to talk to them, but thought better of it. Fireheart flashed a fake smile and left camp, not realizing that a few sets of eyes were on him.

Fireheart began to walk towards the Shadowclan border. Stripestar left his soul and took a solid form next to Fireheart. Fireheart heard multiple sets of pawsteps approaching from behind him. Fireheart whirled around, ready to fight, but lowered his guard as he watched Spottedleaf, Lionstar, and Dovewing approach him. Fireheart was shocked to see Dovewing in the group and asked, "Mind if I ask why you three are here?" Dovewing replied slowly, "We watched you walk out of camp, Firestar. We just wanted to know why you were trying to be secretive." Fireheart replied, "It's important stuff involving Lionclan." Lionstar asked, "Like?" Fireheart replied, "I am trying to convert one of Tigerstar's pawns into a double agent for us." Dovewing's eyes went wide and she asked, "Who is it? Don't tell me that my sister got tempted again! I swear to Starclan, I have tried to keep her on the path of good!" Fireheart purred in amusement and replied, "No need to worry about Ivypool. She is still on the right path, I can promise you that."

Dovewing looked at him and mewed seriously, "Don't tell me. You're my sister's mate?! She can't shut up about how perfect and amazing you are when she talks to me about her mate!" Fireheart laughed and replied, "Yes. Yes, I am Ivypool's mate. I had no idea she spoke of me so highly. Can you keep a secret?" Dovewing mewed, "I haven't told anyone about your darkest and biggest secret, so you tell me." Fireheart looked at Spottedleaf and Lionstar as he said, "And I appreciate that Dovewing." The two she-cats nodded their approval and Fireheart mewed, "I am also the mate of Spottedleaf, Lionstar, Honeypaw, Silverstream, Windstream, Splashfur, and Mistystar. I am also the mate of Heathertail from Windclan, but she needs to remember on her own. She also already knows that secret, but she may need a quick refresher at some point before she truly remembers me." Dovewing thought for a second and asked, "We used to be mates too, right?" Fireheart nodded and replied, a hint of sadness in his voice, "Yes. Yes we were. We never mated. And then I went back in time and saved Hollyleaf's life on the day of the Great Battle and told Breezepelt to stay the hell away from Heathertail because he was an abusive bastard, which completely screwed everything up." Dovewing, Lionstar, and Spottedleaf walked with Fireheart to the Shadowclan Border, not knowing who Fireheart was trying to convert.

In Thunderclan a Week and a Half Later:

Honeypaw was excited. Tonight was the Half-moon, which meant all the Medicine Cats were going to the Moonpool. Honeypaw was also nearing the day she truly entered heat with Silverstream, and her body shook in anticipation of her brother, Fireheart, destroying Silverstream's and her holes because of the promise that Silverstream and her made Fireheart make. Honeypaw was quite shocked that Starclan was okay with her and Spottedleaf being the mates of Fireheart, but she also understood that Starclan understands that the more that her brother has to defend, the more powerful he will become to be able to defend the Forest. Honeypaw was curious as to what Starclan would share with her this time. Last time, they showed her the vision that Fireheart had a couple days before he, Silverstream, and her decided to go back in time to save Hollyleaf's life. She also narrowed down what the last thing in the army could be with help from her mentor, Jayfeather. It was either gonna be foxes or wolves. Much to her displeasure, Jayfeather had convinced her to not tell Fireheart what the last part of the army could be.

Honeypaw blocked her thoughts from the Mind Channel and thought, 'I hope Fireheart will be able to handle facing the entirety of the four creature army when they push against Thunderclan on the fourth moon from the day Fireheart got that vision.' Jayfeather looked at her with his blind gaze and asked, "Something bothering you Honeypaw?" Honeypaw jumped, Jayfeather's voice disrupting her train of thought. Jayfeather let out a purr of amusement and Honeypaw replied, "You seem to be in a much better mood than usual. Why? Finally seal the deal with Hollyleaf?" Jayfeather laughed and said, "Not yet. I have been intruding on Fireheart's thoughts lately, and he is planning on meeting with all the Leaders and Medicine Cats after he reunites Lionclan to discuss a new Warrior and Medicine Cat Code, and the first rule he is hoping to make for the Medicine Cat Code, allows for Medicine Cats to have mates and kits."

Honeypaw mewed, "Then isn't that a good enough reason to warn Fireheart what the last creature in the army approaching us could be?!" Jayfeather looked at his apprentice with his pale blue eyes and asked, "Do you seriously think he needs to worry about that right now? Does he not have enough on his plate? Can you not tell how distraught he has been lately?" Honeypaw hissed, "Of course I can tell! What I can't figure out is why he is so distraught! I thought he was over the whole Dovewing thing!" Jayfeather replied calmly, "He will never get over that. He lost her, because of his fuck up from what I have heard. But that is not why he is so distraught." Honeypaw hissed, "Then what is he distraught about and why hasn't he told me?!" Jayfeather replied, "Because, he clearly thinks he needs to handle this on his own. You know all too well how he is. It might be something to do with Heathertail. She could've asked him to do something for her. Maybe Starclan will tell you tonight."

That Night:

Honeypaw left the Medicine Cat Den with Spottedleaf and Jayfeather to head to the Moonpool together. Honeypaw asked Spottedleaf, "Has Fireheart told you what's been bothering him?" Spottedleaf replied, "The only thing he has talked to me about is some rare flower that I have never even heard of." Honeypaw's eyes went wide and she said, "But, you're supposed to know all of this." Spottedleaf replied, "There are things that even I don't know." Jayfeather asked slowly with a guarded voice, "Did he ever describe the flower?" Spottedleaf answered, "Briefly. He said it was a plant with spiky leaves and yellow flowers. How he found out about such a rare plant is beyond me." Jayfeather asked, "Did he ever say who or what needed it?" Spottedleaf answered, "No. He kept that a secret. I am going to assume that Starclan sent him a vision about the flower." Jayfeather said, "That is probably correct. And if Starclan sent him a vision, we all know it's going to be vague as hell because Starclan never says what they fucking mean." Spottedleaf purred in amusement and said, "That is true. It's a part of their own code or something."

Honeypaw, Jayfeather, and Spottedleaf met up with Kestrelflight, Mothwing, Willowshine, and Littlecloud. The Medicine Cats greeted each other and walked towards the entrance to the Moonpool. They all walked down to the Moonpool and laid down. They waited until the moon hit the pool and then they all lapped up a small amount of the water. They all closed their eyes.

Honeypaw opened her eyes and looked around. She immediately recognized a very faint outline of her brother. She gulped in fear as Fireheart approached her. He said, "Calm down sister. I am the one life that Firestar has lost. Firestar is still alive and well, although searching for something. The reason why I am able to talk with you, is because this life isn't gone forever. There is one sure way that we in Starclan know for Firestar to get it back, but Firestar won't do it. That way is to go back in time again, and prevent himself from saving Hollyleaf's life, which would reset History to what it was supposed to be. Enough with the depressing stuff. I have come to give you a vision about the one you hold dear." Honeypaw's eyes went wide as Fireheart nuzzled her and the scenery changed.

Honeypaw looked around and saw the faint outline of her brother beside her. Fireheart flicked his tail towards the right. Honeypaw looked over and gasped. She saw Fireheart on his own in unfamiliar territory. He appeared to be looking for something. Fireheart appeared to dodge an attack from an unseen adversary. The vision faded and Honeypaw opened her eyes to the Moonpool. Her mind raced a million miles per second as she tried to make sense of what she saw.

Jayfeather, Spottedleaf, and Honeypaw began to trek back to Thunderclan. Jayfeather could sense his apprentice was deep in thought and asked, "And what did Starclan show you?" Honeypaw jumped at her mentor's voice and replied, "Fireheart talked to me." Spottedleaf's and Jayfeather's eyes went wide. Spottedleaf replied, "But how? Fireheart still has eight lives left. The one life he doesn't have shouldn't have been able to talk to you!" Honeypaw mewed, "His one life told me that the reason he is able to talk to me when Fireheart hasn't lost all of his lives, is because the life is not gone forever. Fireheart can still get it back. Fireheart's life told me that Starclan only knows of one sure way to get the life back, but Fireheart won't do it." Jayfeather asked, "And what could that way be? And why wouldn't he do it?"

Honeypaw looked at her mentor and answered, "He would have to go back in time yet again, and prevent himself from saving Hollyleaf, which would then reset History to what it is supposed to be. That is why he wouldn't do it, no matter what." Jayfeather said, "That is true. He would never do that, even if it'd save his life." Honeypaw and Spottedleaf nodded their agreement. Spottedleaf asked, "And what else did you learn?" Honeypaw looked at Spottedleaf and answered, "Fireheart is indeed searching for something. And he will be searching in territory besides the Forest for it."

Back in Thunderclan:

Fireheart woke up and looked around. He noticed he was alone in his den and he muttered, "Where the fuck am I gonna find a flower that even Spottedleaf hasn't heard of? I need it. Heathertail came to me and asked me to find something to cure Ashfoot of her disease because everything that Kestrelflight tried didn't work; yet I have no idea why Heathertail came to me instead of a Medicine Cat. And then Starclan sent me a vision of the flower I needed shortly after Heathertail told me. The issue is, the army is getting closer to Windclan. I need to make a decision. Because only a couple weeks remain before the army attacks Windclan. Maybe I can get Thunderclan and Riverclan to defend Windclan this time, because if I don't find this flower, Ashfoot is surely going to die. FUCK! Maybe I can get back from the adventure before the army attacks. Starclan help me! WHAT DO I DO?!" Fireheart took a deep breath and said quietly, "Fuck it. I will be back before the army attacks."

Fireheart walked out of his den, the half-moon high in the sky. He walked to the Leader's Den and Bramblestar mewed, "Come in, Fireheart." Fireheart walked in and Bramblestar asked, "What can I do for you?" Fireheart answered, "I am going to be gone for a while. If I am not back in two weeks, please defend Windclan with Riverclan from the Army." Bramblestar's eyes went wide, but he said, "Why are you going to be gone?" Fireheart answered, "Because, I have something that I need to find. Only tell people why I am gone, if they ask. And try to keep my harem in the Forest. I need to do this alone." Bramblestar looked at Fireheart and said, "Alright. But no promises. They won't listen to me if they don't want to." Fireheart nodded and ignited his pelt with white flames. He bolted out of the camp, nothing but a silent, fiery blur.

There we go! Sorry it took so long. I found another job, so I can't post as often. Enjoy and may Starclan watch over you all!
