Chapter 68: Taco and Taquito Tuesday

Tuesday

At headquarters, Shikamaru and Jase arrived to see Nora waiting for them at the desk. Nora tossed them both a taquito to have.

"Thanks. Where's Naruto?" Shikamaru mused.

"Calling in the morning off. All four of the bosses won't be available for the morning, so until then…you, Jase, and me are in charge." Nora said as Jase yawned.

"Oh joy." Shikamaru said. "Ok, what do we need to do today?"

"Just take command in case of anything. Everyone's already going to do their thing." Nora said. "So we just relax…eat breakfast…and wait."

"We're finally here!" Kaolla said as the Hina girls were leaving the airport. "Welcome to Los Santos, San Andreas!"

"Have you tried to call your sister yet?" Mitsune asked.

"I had. She said there was a cab waiting for us…and there it is." Kaolla said as Ai was waving to them.

The three piled in as Ai drove them over to Hotel Widashl to which the group got out to look up at the looming building. They would enter as Ai drove away to see that Maritza was working security that morning.

"Kaolla Su?" She asked.

"That's me." Kaolla said as Maritza opened the elevator.

They were taken up to the shared hotel crib where Amalla, Tsuruko, and Keitaro were waiting with them. It was clear Keitaro was trying to be as impassive as possible, but seeing them dug up old memories. Kaolla was simply happy to see everyone again.

"So that last tracker, it's disabled, right?" Keitaro asked.

"You have my word on that. I just wanted to see you one last time before I return to my homeland." Kaolla boasted warmly. "I wanted to see you and my sister off."

"I came to apologize. I know that won't fix the past, but if I want to move on…I need to get it off my chest on how badly I wronged you." Mitsune remarked.

"I see Naru's not here." Keitaro said calmly, sipping his coffee.

"She left the Hina House…" Tsuruko remarked. "I never told you because I thought you wouldn't care. But she left the Hinata and became a corporate woman for Zaibatsu."

"And I guess she threw all of you to the wayside. Not surprised, really." Keitaro remarked.

"I came to join you." Shinobu said bluntly. "I don't have anything back in Japan anymore. I'm done living at the Hinata…and seeing Su's leaving…I'm not going to live with Motoko."

"And Mitsune, right?" Keitaro asked.

"No…I came here on a one-way trip too." Mitsune said. "I didn't come to really ask for money…but I needed a fresh start."

"Of course, you did." Keitaro mused. "But you know what? I kinda saw this coming. I was hoping Naru came so I could have put a bullet in her head, but I can make do."

"Amalla, can you show me around town?" Kaolla asked.

"Sure, the least I can do." Amalla said before leaving with her.

The sisters would leave as Keitaro leaned back in the chair, completely nonchalant. Motoko scowled as his relaxed nature.

"I don't know what you're so proud about. You're a reprobate…a degen-"

Keitaro pulled an Micro SMG and cocking it glaring down at Motoko.

"Motoko, shut the fuck up." Keitaro snarled.

"How dar-"

"Motoko, do you really think that you can lecture Keitaro? Especially with that the family covered up for keep you out of jail." Tsuruko said, annoyed as she took out some money. "If you came to bitch at us, then I'll give you the money to take a flight back to Japan."

"Fine." Motoko said, snatching the money. "As far as I am concerned, you're no sister of mine…nand you're a lost cause."

Motoko stormed out with her things in a huff and Tsuruko never looked so relived.

"Had she not, I probably would have decked her. Honestly, I don't know what Motoko was expecting, but screw it, I think she's not coming back into my life anytime soon." Tsuruko said before sighing. "I'll go make sure she doesn't get herself killed."

She left, leaving just Shinobu, Keitaro, and Mitsune.

"About time that bitch left…it was agonizing just being on the plane with her." Shinbou said. "Ok, so what do I need to do to get in with this crew of yours?"

"Sadly, I don't have much pull as I'm stuck as an associate until I do a few jobs. Per the rules of the organization. But you both can join up with me and we can do jobs together." Keitaro said, getting up. "It's a three job minimum before being decided on…and I can at least vouch for you after. Well at least for you, Shinobu."

Mitsune steeled herself. She knew what she had to do.

Groans came up as the quartet were finally waking up as Naruto got out his phone to see it was eleven a.m. and there were text messages.

"Any news?" Isaribi asked.

"Seems we got new members…and they've done their requirements already to make it. As did our old friends." Naruto said as Yara got off the floor. "Managed to steal ten crates, business supplies for our weed farm, and got our weed sold. So that's a nice 100,000 in our accounts."

"Dibs on the shower." Yara said before going into the bathroom.

"Looks like we're going to have to go to the laundry and/or pay for it." Tomoko muttered. "I swear this System can be a real pain."

"I got a maid doing the laundry so I'm good." Naruto remarked.

"Know what? I'm not working until the heist tonight. I need a break." Isaribi said. "I have to deal with the laundry…anyway."

"I agree with you there." Tomoko said. "Naruto, are you going to deal with promoting those guys?"

"I'll handle it…" Naruto said as Yara came out of the shower.

Isaribi went to the kitchen to fix something up for breakfast as Yara went to the closet to get dressed. Tomoko decided to plop down on the bed for some more sleep as Naruto went to shower. Yara got dressed and threw on her BB jacket before leaving. Naruto would get ready for the day after coming out, opting to wear a white Feud OG t-shirt under a blue Double P varsity jacket, a Gauille gold chain around his neck, his Datejust watch, blue jeans, and black socks in orange sneakers.

Mitsune found herself nervous, given she was going to be meeting one of the bosses. She was taking it in that this group had a pretty sweet headquarters. In the break room, the lot of them were waiting and talking. The door opened as Naruto walked in.

"That's him. That's the boss." Johnny said pointing to Naruto.

Mitsune sized him up. She had to admit that he was easy on the eyes and definitely a looker. Naruto walked in and got a drink out of the vending machine, an eCola.

"Johnny, I heard it all went well." Naruto said pleased. "And I saw Shikamaru, he validated all the work you guys put on…so congratulations on your promotio-"

He noticed Shinobu and Mitsune.

"Who are they?" Naruto asked.

"Friend…and an associate of mine. I can vouch for them…now that I'm a Komon." Keitaro remarked. "Shinobu and Mitsune."

"Right…well welcome to Tidal Fox in full." Naruto mused.

"By the way, we handled something for Tiana. She said she wanted to see you today." Peanut remarked.

"All right, then." Naruto said. "Johnny, we can hang out and do something after the operation that me and the main heads are dealing with."

Naruto left to go to the office garage.

"Mr. Uzumaki, hey…I just wanted to let you know I finished giving your motorcycle a tune-up." Renee said as Naruto thanked her. "You're welcome."

Naruto got on his [Hexer Custom] and rode out as Renee sighed.

"I need to get out there and meet someone." Renne thought. "Been single too long."

She wondered about the new guys that joined the group…and decided to take a chance.

Naruto arrived at the warehouse…which now looked more fitting to be a restaurant as he parked on the side before going to the door. He noticed a glowing red marquee in front of the door and went up to it.

He opened the door and went straight into the office area to see a smiling Tiana.

"It's finally ready. The Bayou Bastion can finally open tomorrow…even got a setup for a bakery and a bar inside. Don't worry, the paperwork for that is dealt with. I just need your mark on this for your share." Tiana said as Charlotte came in. "I reworked the percentage for an even trade."

Naruto looked down at the paperwork to see he'd still get a majority share at 50% while Tiana and Charlotte had 25% each. He looked them over and smirked.

"I know I promised 60%. But I can give you that 10% in cash." Tiana said getting out a small bundle of cash stacks in a plastic bag. "From the payday van hit. Quarter million."

"In a plastic bag?" Naruto joked.

"Briefcases are expensive and that money needs to go to the Bayou Bastion." Tiana said as Naruto took it. "Now, your marks?"

The three all signed it before Tiana poured everyone a shot of red wine.

"We're in business. To the Bayou!" Tiana said, raising her glasses.

They clinked glasses before drinking.

"Well then, Tiana. Consider yourself promoted to Komon. Considering you'll be focused on running the restaurant, that'll be your focus so you'll be excluded from the grunt work. I do have to ask if there's room to have the members take temp work." Naruto remarked.

"Extra dishwashers or security." Tiana said. "I'll give the details to Nora. And boss, thank you for all the work you did making this possible. There will always be a table for you at the Bayou."

Naruto left in a rather good mood.

[Mission Complete! The Bayou Bastion will produce $10,000 a day for you to collect.]

"Now to-"

Naruto's cell ring to which he saw Olivia's number to which he put on speaker.

"Mrs. van der Meer. What can I do for you?" Naruto asked.

"I need your help…with getting Victoria a job. Given she's out of college, I demanded she not lay about and get some work. She needs to be something of a functional adult…and doing something other than partying and getting fucked all day." Olivia said with a sigh.

An idea sprang to mind.

"You know, I just opened my own restaurant with a friend. Given that…no offense, your daughter's an idiot…considering she's a bean pole, she can't do security, she can wash dishes." Naruto said with a wicked grin.

He could hear Olivia laughing.

"When can she start?" Olivia asked.

"Tomorrow…but you can come today to see the business and talk to the other owner to make an arrangement." Naruto said. "It's in Strawberry…"

Olivia returned to her home after having met Tiana, who she considered just lovely. Olivia appreciated good food as much as the next person and she certainly had a talent for it. Then she found her daughter on the couch lazily on her phone with a mud mask, a towel on her head, and wearing nothing but a fluffy pink robe.

"Victoria, we need to talk." Olivia said as Victoria was not paying attention. "Lupelli…"

Lupelli, with glee, snatched Victoria's phone from her and pointed to Olivia.

"Now we need to talk…" Olivia said, crossing her arms.

"About what?" Victoria asked.

"What you'll be doing with your time…considering you can't go to college." Olivia said icily as Victoria rolled her eyes

"I'll just go to on-"

"We won't be paying for it." Olivia affirmed as Victoria looked at her. "You will. With a job."

"You're fucking with me, right?" Victoria asked.

"No, I'm not. Considering your father is going to be out of Los Santos for the better part of the year…I'm handling this my way and he won't have a say in it." Olivia firmly said, walking up to her. "You will get a job and you'll work until you have enough to go to said college online and 100,000 to make up for the bribe to the university."

"And where am I supposed to wor-"

"I got you a job at a new restaurant…you'll be a dishwasher." Olivia said as Victoria looked mortified.

"Please! I can't…I'll never hear the end of it from my friends." Victoria pleaded.

"If I were you, I'd ask Lupelli to teach you how." Olivia said with a grin. "I'll take you to the workplace tomorrow."

Olivia sauntered as Lupelli smugly handed Victoria her phone. The look on Victoria's face was nothing short of priceless as she let out a shrill scream.

(A/N: Nothing gets my jollies up, then getting to give a character what they oh so deserve. Though in reality, some characters sadly do get away with their actions…case in point, Naru. If you're wondering if she's going to appear, quite unlikely, but really the worst that happens to her is she's slightly humbled, working, has her temper in check, and is just living with nothing but her job. I suppose you can take the fact that she has no one and can't really go back to Hinata City at all. Moving on, it's time to finish the heist. And how humorous that it's the 69th chapter.)
