Chapter 69: The Humane Thing to Do? Raid It.

Night fell upon the city as the crew met up at the Heist House, as did Alex and Jase. All of them went down to the heist planning room. Agent 13 was there setting up the board as they came in.
[The Humane Labs Raid]
"Ok, let me applaud you all for the work on setting this up. Now, it won't be easy, but will need finesse. Don Percival's probably not going to get contracts if he can't stop himself from being robbed, thus…he won't admit to one." Agent 13 said slyly. "So we'll split you up into two teams. Ground team and chopper team. Fly in together, the ground team jumps into the labs…turns on EMP, get the information we need while the chopper crew deals with any and all issues. Once the ground team gets the files, we do an evac and meet the contact with the file. Understood?"
They nodded.
"Good, I got the mission suits here. Ground team gets a scuba suit. We have night vision goggles, grenades, and sticky bombs for you all to use. Along with parachutes and rebreathers for the obvious." Agent 13 said before opening another crate. "Special Carbines and Pump Shotguns with suppressors for your use. I'll be mostly radio silent until contacted, you know what to do. A one use flare gun will be given for you to use."
Agent 13 left.
"I'll lead the ground team. Yara, Jase…you're with me." Naruto said.
"I'll handle the chopper team." Isaribi said.
Naruto and Jase left with a mission suit to go change as the women changed in the heist room.
"Are you seriously going commando?" Alex asked Yara as she pulled up her pants.
"Yeah, I sweat easily." Yara admitted. "Plus, it's a scuba suit."
"Fuck it, not like I've done worse." Alex said zippering up.
"How's your son doing by the way?" Isaribi said, getting on the pilot's headset.
"He's fine. He likes that new summer program at that fancy private school. Honestly, the interview was probably more terrifying than this mission could be. At least he's also made a friend in Sadie Mae…" Alex said as Isaribi had a relieved look. "Hey, it gets me a free babysitter."
With everyone ready and armed, they left the house before Isaribi called Nora to send someone with the Stretch to pick them up. It would be Gerrado who came for them as they piled in. Naruto gave him the location and he got driving.
"So Gerardo, how's Anastasia?" Naruto asked.
"She's fine…thanks for informing us about the Bayou Bastion…we'd feel safer if she worked there. I'll still be working with Miss Auclair, Miss Umi." Gerardo said.
"Speaking of the Auclairs, I need to finish that last thing for her." Isaribi mused.
"Get the new grunts on it." Naruto suggested.
"May as well…" Isaribi mused.
"So I've been wanting to get a tattoo, but it's my first time and I could use some tips." Tomoko said.
"As someone who's inked up, some advice to you is if the tattoo can be hidden, it's better for you. Also avoid face tattoos. They look stupid on principle and very few can pull it off." Alex said plainly.
Gerardo had dropped them off at the spot as the group of six got to the chopper as Isaribi started it as they were all soon airborne.
"Once you three make the jump, I'm going to land this thing nearby to stay out of sight and me, Alex, and Tomoko will keep guard and remove any obstacles in the way." Isaribi said as the ground team got the masks and night vision goggles on. "Get yourself ready, we're coming up to the drop!"
Once at the drop, she activated the EMP…as the whole state seemed to lose power. Given most people don't have generators…people were swearing like sailors. The ground team landed onto the labs as Agent 13 called on their communicators telling them to blast their way in.
BOOM!
Yara blew the metal shutter with a rocket launcher before doing it again with the one inside before all of them ran in. Naruto and Jase opened fire with their Special Carbines shooting mooks left and right as they went in. Yara swapped to her dual AP pistols given the alarm was already blaring.
"Ok, move quickly. Backup generator is coming around…but as long as the main one is down, you're all fine. Go in, get the data, and get out." Agent 13 said over the comm line.
"Chopper team, what's your status?" Jase asked.
"T is ripping those guys with her minigun. She's going for a Scarface impression." Alex said.
"J, I'm going to need you to handle the computer stuff when we get to the lab." Naruto said before shooting another mook dead.
"On it, boss."
After several more Merryweather goons were murdered, they made it to the lab where Jase kicked the chair out of the way before plugging in the specialized flash drive. He keyed in the commands as the data was taken and the computer lost power as soon he unplugged it to the virus.
"Got it." Jase stated.
"Good, now go to the cooling tunnel, that should take you out to sea and the chopper team can get you. Go."
With Agent 13's instruction, they got to moving, but not before Yara blew up the room with a sticky bomb and a rocket launcher blast. Naruto kicked the door open to the cooling room as they slipped on their rebreathers and dived down. Yara took the lead, being the best swimmer out of the lot. With the flares, they swam through the dark tunnel. On the ground, Tomoko was taking out chopper after chopper. Alex handled mooks coming in their Mesas.
"Ok, time for us to pull out." Isaribi said, seeing the ground team on her radar. "Let's go!"
Ground team surfaced as Isaribi started up the helicopter. Not that the ground team was worried as she was right on the beach waiting for them as they got on.
"Guess we didn't need the flare gun." Naruto said taking off the rebreather. "I did gain some skill points in swimming so there's that."
Alex and Tomoko jumped in as Isaribi took off, letting it rain smoke bombs to cover their disappearing act.
"Improvising with the smoke bombs, but not bad. But it looks like you're done, and so am I. Meet my contact at the Land Act Reservoir, and you'll be paid. I've lost operatives on the field…but I'm not glad you're not some of them. For what it's worth it was a pleasure to work with you all."
"Thanks, Agent 13. Means a lot, for what it's worth on our end…we helped save the world." Isaribi said. "Goodbye, Agent 13. If the ULP guy is still running with you guys, tell him I said hello."
"Copy."
Isaribi found it ironic they were going straight to the place when she and Isaribi had first met. As she was flying, a familiar voice came up on the communication line.
"Ok, you've had your fun. But it's time to put the toys away and go to bed. Bring the chopper in and we'll give you a debrief. You do-"
Isaribi cut her off by turning the communication line off as she brought the Valkyrie down. There was Karen and an agent waiting in front of her black Zion. The six of them got out.
"When I ran agents on the field, I had to entrap them, cajole them, and threaten them with deportation…"
"Or suck them off…" Isaribi said icily.
Karen ignored the dig.
"But now you need kind words and a couple bucks." Karen said as Jase handed over the flash drive. "No accounting for stupidity. But you won't be talking about what happened here as your usefulness to us just ran out."
She gave Isairibi an envelope and everyone was given a plastic credit card.
"That card has your payment, use your phones' bank app to scan it and payment will be transferred. No tracers, no bullshit." Karen said before giving Tomoko the grenade. "Now get rid of the evidence."
Karen got into the car with the agent and drove away as Tomoko unpinned the grenade, throwing it into the helicopter. The six walked forward letting the chopper explode behind them. Tomoko even whipped on a pair of shades in doing so as the world went gray for them.

The color returned as Alex and Jase were already using their phones to scan the cards. For the protags, the System had handled it for them. The state would get its power back and life went on. The four of them would get a call from Lester congratulating them for a job well done, but cited he did not want to know what had to be done. He'd call if they had them and hung up.
"Damn, near 500k." Jase said with a smirk. "Our government pays us for a fair night's work. But now we need a ride."
"Not it." Naruto said.
"Nope." Isaribi said.
"Nada." Tomoko remarked as Yara pouted.
"Screw you guys…" Yara muttered jokingly.
They all called for their rides. J. Jones arrived with Naruto's Hexer Custom, Alroy came with Yara's Shotaro, and Ben came with Tomoko's Hexer Custom.
"Ben, you can take the night off…because we're going out." Tomoko said getting on the back of the bike. "Dinner at my place in the hills."
"I like the sound of that." Ben said before riding off.
Lindsay came with Isaribi's Sultan RS as Jon came with the Patriot.
"Lindsay, Jon bought a car for all of you to get back as I told him." Isaribi said getting in her car. "Thanks again for your aid."
Jon slid into Isaribi's car as Isaribi drove away as Naruto, Tomoko, and Yara did the same. Bélén arrived with the van to pick Jase and Alex up.
"How it go?" She asked them.
"500k higher and we're alive, so pretty damn good." Alex said relieved.
"By the way, you got a visit from Daniela. She was apparently looking all over Los Santos for you." Bélén said as Alex blanched.
"Fuck. I was hoping to avoid her…" Alex groaned.
"Why?" Jase asked. "Is she-"
"No, she's not a threat…she's just a bit dim and touchy-feely. She's a gym trainer at the gym I used to go. Honestly I get better cardio running the cops…" Alex said as Jase chuckled.
"And you got firmer." Jase teased.
"Ah well…she's at home waiting for you." Bélén said awkwardly.
"Fuck." Alex spat.

Isaribi pulled up to her Hillcrest home as she and Jon went inside. Hongli came up as Isaribi yanked off the tactical shirt to throw over a chair.
"I missed you, lovely." She said scratching behind his ears. "Hey Eric, I'll get into something more comfortable. What do you want to eat?"
"I was thinking maybe we can skip to dessert." Jon teased as Isaribi had a pleased look on her face.
"Ohhh…so you're ready." Isaribi gently said. "Just don't push yourself, if you're–"
He cut her off with a surprise kiss before breaking it.
"We live pretty fast…and I figured now's the best time as ever." Jon said as he held her. "And I'm going to be honest, I've wanted to for a while…but you know how 'courting' is."
"That I do, and you've courted well." Isaribi purred out. "The only question is how we'll do this…maybe I should clean up."
"No…honestly you covered in sweat coming from the heat of pulling off some insane job is turning me on like crazy." Jon growled.
The pair had gone straight to the bedroom as she kicked off her shoes as Jon was already working on getting her pants off. He had always admired her build, seeing her in motion got him hot and bothered at times.

Jon would get his second wind and rushed to the shower.

"You pay me a pretty good wage to work on your rides all day." Ben jokingly said. "Dating you is just a pleasant bonus."

"Well I like dating you too…." Tomoko said shyly. "Man, I could fight a small army of gangbangers, but I can't string words around you."
"So what's your plans tomorrow?" Ben asked. "My mom insists on inviting you over for breakfast."
"I can do that…the night's young. I should shop around for a new place in LS. I have all this cash, it's time to get my own house." Tomoko affirmed.
"If that's the case, can I have your old apartment? Honestly, me and Jon are looking for a place to get out from our moms. We love our mothers, but we need our own place. And with my and Jon's income, I think we'd be able to deal with rent." Ben mused.
"Consider it yours…but first we should get back into town. I feel a celebratory drink is in order." Tomoko said.

Jase had to admit to himself that if Alex hit his boxes, Daniela did the same with gusto only with the fact that she was jacked. She was about the same height as Alex, dark skinned with short blonde hair and brown eyes. She was just as stacked as Alex, but a bit more muscled with green tribal tattoos on an arm and leg.
"Alex, I'm so glad you're alright! I was looking all over for you." Daniela said, squeezing Alex in a hug. "And how are you, little one?"
"Fine…but you're squeezing mom too tight." José said as Daniela let her go.
"Sorry, but I'm just so happy for you that you're gone up in the world. You look nearly as bitter and sour all the time." Daniela said innocently as Alex sighed. "I'm so glad you found love again. But…I never thought you'd be the type to rob the cradle."
"I'm 21." Jase said.
"Oh, sorry…you just got a real young face there." Daniela said. "Well, Alex…I wanted to tell you that I got my dream job."
"I thought you already had it as a trainer." Alex asked.
"Yes, but I finally run my own gym now with a bit of backing from a friend and some major winnings from me and my husband. It's how I found you…through your hubby's friend and business partner. Lightning." Daniela said.
"Aw come on!" Alex thought.
"You know Lightning?" Jase asked.
"I used to mentor him." Daniela said cheekily. "But either way, the vacant Muscle Gym in Downtown Vinewood is being taken over by me and my husband to become the Strikers Gym and Sauna. I wanted to give you a stake in the business, Alex. I trust you…you might be crabby, but you're got a good head on your shoulders."
Alex wanted to say no, but having another avenue of legit income was a good thing. Given that also Daniela seemed to be as touchy-feely as before, Alex accepted.
"And easy with the hugging, I'm expecting." Alex said.
"We should celebrate…how about pizza?" Daniela offered. "I'll buy."
"Eh, considering the night we had…I'm down." Jase remarked.

"I see you got what I asked for." Trevor said as Naruto got out of the van.
"You are lucky Ron called me right before I got to LS and that I was riding my motorcycle." Naruto said before opening the van to wheel it out. "You're welcome. And by the way, I bought the fiber stuff you wanted. One of the convenience stores on the way had it. It's in the van in the glovebox."
"Thank you…and I think you and your crew are ready for what I have planned." Trevor said cryptically with a knowing look.
"Do I even want to know?" Naruto asked.
"NOT YET!" Trevor yelled before calming down. "No, it's a surprise. The good, well-paying kind. Here along with some extra for you not to mention that to your cohorts just yet. Now go, I got planning to do."

After an hour, they wouldn't be watching the television…practically being background noise as clothes were on the floor and Tricia was riding Naruto.

(A/N: What a way to end the chapter. It was the 69th one after all, and I figured it'd be hilarious if Tricia had that ending line. As for Tomoko and Ben, I actually considered a lemon for them, but despite Tomoko's confidence bouts…I don't think she'd be ready just yet. For those curious, yes, Eric and Danica were likely getting intimate around the same time. But after 69 chapters, we can finally get to Trevor's heist at last. Unlike the others, this one is likely to go by pretty quick.)
