Chapter 71: A Start of a Series

As night was creeping along, the quartet were deciding on whose house was going to host Trevor for the job. After using something that had all down to chance, the first up to get landed on in four spins would host. Tomoko ended up drawing that fate and thus they were in her heist room at her house.

[The Setup Cost for Series A Funding is $25,000. Do you wish to proceed?]

"I'm not paying for that, you assholes are making me host him." Tomoko said sharply.

"Yara got the second most spins." Naruto said as Yara protested. "Fine, you pay 15. Isaribi and I will pay five grand. Happy?"

Yara agreed as they paid up for the setup leaving Naruto to make the call to Trevor. Tomoko took off her suit jacket before going upstairs to prepare.

[Series A Funding]

Tomoko waited upstairs as she was gathering up drinks, non-alcoholic ones. With Trevor, things were unpredictable. There was a banging at the door as Tomoko took off the glasses before opening the door.

"Hello!" Trevor boomed with Ron and Chef by his side.

Trevor wore a special white TPI branded muscle shirt for the occasion.

"Trevor, we're waiting for you downstairs. Drinks?" Tomoko offered. "No, they're not alcohol…figured you'd want clean heads for this job to have for us."

"That's…hmm…acceptable." Trevor said, taking a can of Sprunk. "It's hot as fuck out there, ain't it?"

"Yeah, as per usual." Tomoko said, taking the cooler.

"Chef, take the cooler off her hands." Trevor said as they all went downstairs.

For dramatic effort, Trevor kicked the door open.

"It's finally time, ladies and lone gentlemen!" Trevor said coming on.

The board was set up already, but the protagonists knew that was really the System's doing. All Ron had to do was add in the details. Chef put down the cooler as Trevor opened up the soda and took a long drink.

"I've been eyeing your progress as of late. I asked Wheels to specifically give you this…job offer to give a place in my start-up. As of now, you've been promoted to my senior hired guns for Trevor Philips Industries." Trevor said excitedly before getting calm. "But I'm no drug dealer, no pusher, I…we are locavores, huh? Recyclers taking the drugs out there and adding value to them."

"Stealing from competitors to sell to an outsider. Classic." Isaribi remarked.

"You have experience?" Trevor asked.

"In 2012, with some friends in a certain city. Didn't end too well…with the buyer." Isaribi said. "Shit happens."

Trevor went out explaining the plan before storming out with Ron and Chef leaving the quartet to look at the board of tasks. Like the last heists, three [Heist Setups] were available to be done in any order they wished. Before they could do anything, Naruto's phone rang to which he saw Olivia calling.

"Olivia, hey…" Naruto answered.

"Naruto, I really need to speak to you. It's urgent…" Olivia said.

"3655 Wild Oats Drive." Naruto said before going upstairs.

He waited on the porch before Lupelli would arrive in an armored Cognoscenti. Naruto let Olivia in as she got out of the car.

"Nice place." Olivia remarked.

"Actually, one of my business partner's…but what's with the call?" Naruto asked.

"You got a place that's soundproof?" Olivia asked.

Naruto took her down to the heist room.

"Well, that's ironic. What was about to tell you has to do with that yacht…" Olivia asked.

"Guys, you remember Olivia?" Naruto asked. "She had something for us."

"Namely, information. And seeing that you're going to rob the Dignity, I've got a little caveat for you. My piece of shit sister-in-law is involved in a coke deal with Freddy Slade. His nephew and all his friends are on that boat. However, she's planning on backstabbing him by selling some of the coke that was supposed to be sent to the boat to someone else under their nose. So I want to hire you to go to the boat, and steal all the coke on the boat. That way…Freddy will be forced to turn his eye on Lydia." Olivia remarked.

"About that…" Isaribi said before explaining the situation.

Olivia started laughing.

"Well then, allow me to offer any aid in this endeavor…" Olivia said. "I could use the exercise…and well…I would personally love to get involved just to get back at that smug bitch. And it's been a long time since I got my hands dirty."

"Well then, welcome aboard." Naruto remarked before looking at the board. "Ok, so the bikers we leave for last. We split up and tackle all of them today. The streets are going to run red today. I'll have Nora send mission wear for Olivia. Olivia and I will go for the cocaine."

"I'll go with you. Yara, Tomoko, you're on the Trash Trucks." Isaribi said. "And seeing it's the Vagos, call Maribel."

"Got it." Yara said simply as Olivia was her phone. "Something up, Olivia?"

"Yes, I'm following these idiots…on social media. Seems they're expecting a boat of hookers to arrive." Olivia said.

"I'll call Alex, see if she can prevent that." Naruto said, calling her.

Alex was able to use her connections and relayed some information.

"They'll let you sneak in their place but they want to be paid the amount they would have gotten for the job. It was about 10,000 for each stripper…and there were five of them." Alex said as Olivia took Naruto's phone.

"They have the means for me to send them the money digitally?" Olivia asked. "Just give me the numbers."

With that, Olivia simply transferred the funds as Naruto took her phone back.

"Thank you, Alex." Naruto said before hanging up. "Isaribi, we're going to need distractions of the sexy kind."

"I got an idea." Isaribi said before calling Nora. "Hey Nora, we need a team put together. Long story short, we need a team of single women to pose as prostitutes to distract a group of frat boys while we clean out their yacht. Yeah, they'll be likely to be dicked…so please exclude the offer to anyone in a relationship. Have the hazard pay for it be tripled. Thanks."

"Ok, so now we have our strike teams." Tomoko remarked.

"Keitaro. I've been meaning to ride with him again." Isaribi said. "So make four for us."

"We'll call Jabari and Riley…they could pass for garbagemen." Yara mused.

"Then let's get started." Naruto said excitedly.

(A/N: Originally, I was going to go straight into the Coke mission, but I figured I'd cut it short to allow things to breathe and for you the readers to get to pick the distraction team. So give me your comments out of your thoughts on who could be on the distraction team. On the other side of things, Olivia getting a bit more prominence was something I did have in mind. She is going to stick around for most of Series A, and I actually am considering that she might consider joining Tidal Fox in full.)
