Normal POV
-Arendelle-
It's been weeks since Hiccup has woke up from his coma and a lot has happened during those weeks. Right after Hiccup woke up, Elsa told him of how she bonded with the Snow Wraith and Hiccup was both happy and astounded by it. Both Hiccup and Elsa are now a couple and everyone in Arendelle is happy for them. A couple of dragons from the nest were now welcomed in Arendelle. At first, the civillians were not sure at first but after Hiccup showed them the bond, they were okay with it. The children were getting along with them so well wich allowed them to play all the time.
Hiccup has been helping Elsa with getting along the Snow Wraith and she named the dragon Skadi after the Norse goddess of winter to Hiccup's and the dragon's approval. Hiccup has been teaching Elsa the basics of dragon riding and she's been getting the hang of it. He even made her a blue saddle with some Arendelle markings on it. Elsa and her dragon were getting along so well.
Agnarr and Iduna managed to bond with their own dragons. Agnarr bonded with the blue Monstrous Nightmare which he named Phoenix after the mythical fire bird and Iduna bonded with the purple Nadder who was named Viola after the purple flower.
As for Anna with her parent's approval, she managed to bond with the green Gronckle which turned out to be a male but was still training. She decided to call the dragon Rockchomper.
Speaking of Gronckle, Hiccup even discovered something amazing that they can do. If they eat certain types of rocks, they ingest it and spits it back out which turns into a new light metal Hiccup calls Gronckle Iron. Hiccup intruduced the metal to Agnarr who was intrigued by how light and how strong the metal was. Hiccup has been trying to figure out the formula for it but was always busy with lessons and dragon teachings.
But there was also a problem when an unknown flock of mystery class dragons started stealing metal from kingdom and Hiccup found out that they were Smothering Smokebreath dragon. He remembered from the dragon manual that they steal metal to build their nest so Hiccup suggested that everyone should get rid of any metal that was broken or unused for the little dragons
It was now winter time in Arendelle and the whole kingdom was covered with a blanket snow. It was also everyones favorite holiday season, Christmas and today was Christmas Eve. Hiccup was very curious about it and was surprised that Elsa and her family wanted to him to celebrate with them. Plus, Hiccup even thought of the perfect gift for Elsa. Not only that, but for the dragons, they had a little holiday of their own by hatching baby dragons.
Hiccup's POV and Narration
'This is Arendelle, it's modern, it's civilized, and is located far south. The one upside is their annual holiday. They call it Christmas. They say that on Christmas Eve night, there's a fat guy dressed in red named Santa Claus who breaks into your house by going down the chimney, eats cookies with milk, and delivers presents under the Christmas tree. Anyway, with the dragons now free and living among us, this year's Christmas... will be one that Arendelle will remember.'
I rolled over in bed and slowly opened my eyes when my room started rattling and heard a muffled roar from above. I realized that it was Toothless and I covered my head with my blanket, hoping that my dragon will get the idea and let me have a few more minutes of sleep. In response, my room shook again, sending clouds of dust from ceiling, followed by another roar from above. "Okay, okay. I'm coming..." I said, pushing the covers away. I sat up and attached my new leg that I invented. I grabbed my viking helmet and walked out. It was early morning right now.
Sometimes I wished that Toothless would still fly on his own but it would just take fun of us flying together out of it. I stepped outside in the courtyard and shivered a bit before I was greeted by a low rumbling from Toothless who was perched on top of the roof of the castle where my room was located. "Well good morning, Mr. Bossy." I said to him. Toothless made some sort of chittering sound and I mimicked him. "You always have to wake me up so early to go flyiiiIINNGG!" I yelped as my prosthetic landed on an ice patch causing me to slip. Before I could hit the ground, Toothless dashed infront of me, breaking my fall with his head. Toothless lifted me off the ground and set me down on the snowy ground. "Stupid leg." I muttered, kicking the ground in frustration.
I heard my dragon whine softly, looking at me in concern. "Ah, thanks buddy. I'm okay." I smiled. "Yeah, we can go flying now" I stepped foward and was about to scratch him under the chin but he then burped in my face, treating me with a sniff of what he had for breakfast. "Ew ew, what, ew. Ah, Toothless!" I pulled back, fanning the stench away from my face.

Normal POV
Hiccup and Toothless were now airborne, flying around one of their favorite places on Arendelle. They've been practicing some aerial tricks for the past two months and today, Hiccup was hoping to perfect one of them. "Come on, let's see what you got today!" Hiccup told the Night Fury. They then flew up higher. Once they got high enough, Hiccup unhooked his leg from the stirrup and jumped off of Toothless. Hiccup was now free falling with a smile on his face, Toothless falling beside. The dragon lightly tapped Hiccup's shoulder which caused the boy to twirl. As they saw the ground getting closer, Hiccup guided himself to the saddle and rehooked his leg to the stirrup.
"YEAH!" Hiccup yelled out a they zoomed over the trees, blowing snow off of them. "Good job bud!" Hiccup told his dragon.
Meanwhile, back in Arendelle, everyone was happily decorating the kingdom because of the holiday. In the courtyard, Kai was infront of the castle entrance, directing a servant who was on top a hovering Gronckle. "No no, higher!" The butler yelled out as the Gronckle hovered higher above the entrance with the servant holding a wreath.
"Here?" The servant asked, holding the wreath over the spot.
"Yes! That's the spot!" Kai confirmed with Elsa and Iduna coming up behind him.
In the center of town, Agnarr and Anna were looking over the decorations with Phoenix and Rockchomper behind them. As the two royals were busy going over the decorations, a young child dressed in a makeshift Gronckle costume ran up to Rockchomper. "Roar!" The child yelled out to the green Gronckle who responded with a louder roar the blew the little human back a few inches. The child giggled at this and ran away with Rockchomper following behind, chasing him. This caught the royals attention
"Good boy, Rockchomper!" Anna said in glee.
Back in the courtyard, Elsa and Iduna just finished looking over the decorations with Skadi and Viola with them. Viola managed to have three hatchlings of her own. As for Elsa, she just turned sixteen two days ago and she got her saddle as a birthday present from Hiccup. They were now walking along side Kai. "My word Kai, us spending Christmas with dragons. What will the other kingdoms think?" The queen asked Kai.
"They would think that we're crazy, your majesty." The butler replied.
Iduna then turned to her daughter. "Elsa, have you found a Christmas present for Hiccup?" Iduna asked.
"Yes mother, I got the perfect gift for him." The ice princess replied.
"Well, what did you get him?" The queen asked her daughter.
"Well, you know how Hiccup was trying to figure out the formula for Gronckle Iron but couldn't because he was always busy?" She asked her mother who nodded. "Well, lets just say that I managed to figure out the formula from working with a few Gronckles I know of with some help of the guards." Elsa informed her mother who's eyes widened.
"You figured out the formula?" She asked. Elsa nodded smiling. "Oh sweetie, Hiccup is gonna be thrilled." Iduna exclaimed happily as she was proud that her daughter got what her boyfriend was looking for.
"What are you two discussing about?" Said a voice. The queen and princess turned to see Agnarr and Anna walking up to them.
"Oh, we were just discussing what Elsa got Hiccup for Christmas." Iduna replied smiling.
"Well I hope that Hiccup will be thrilled of what you got him." Agnarr said smiling.
"Hey where is Hiccup? He's gonna be late for breakfast." Anna asked.
Hiccup and Toothless were still flying, heading back to the kingdom. "What do you say bud? Ready to head back?" Hiccup looked at and asked the dragon who rumbled yes in reply. Hiccup looked foward and a flock of Terrible Terrors heading their way. "Whoa!" The boy yelled as they flew around every dragon until the last one got too close and knocked Hiccup's helmet off. "Oh no, my helmet." Hiccup said.
Toothless saw the helmet and dived down to fetch it. "Toothless. No no no no no no no no." Hiccup exclaimed as he saw the Night Fury diving towards his helmet. "Whoa whoa whoa wait, Toothless stop." He told Toothless who stopped and just hovered there. "We'll get it later bud. Right now, we need to get back before we're late." Hiccup explained. Toothless looked back down for a moment then turned to fly back to the kingdom.
After a couple of minutes, they finally made it back to the castle and landed in the courtyard. Once the royal family saw them, Elsa immediately ran up to her beloved dragon rider. "There you are love. We've been wondering where you and Toothless were." She said to him.
"Well, Mr. Bossy here wanted to go flying early today and wouldn't let me sleep a little bit more." Hiccup sarcastically gestured to the Night Fury who just snorted.
"Does he always do that?" Elsa asked.
"Most of the time." He answered as Elsa nodded in agreement.
"How is your leg?" She asked, wondering about her lover's leg condition.
"It's doing good and the new leg I built is making good progress." He smiled as he gestured to his prosthetic leg.
"That's good. Come my love, it's time for breakfast." Elsa smiled as she hooked her arm around Hiccup's.
"Lead the way m'lady." Hiccup smiled in returned before they went back to the castle for breakfast.
Moments later, they were eating breakfast that was Christmas fashioned. The breakfast consisted of Chocolate chip pancakes, frosted cinnamon rolls, french toast with strawberries and bananas that are sliced, bacon, sausages, and orange juice. While they were eating, Elsa, who sitting next to Hiccup, got everyone's attention when she asked Hiccup a question. "Hiccup, you mind if I ask you something?" She asked.
"Of course Elsa. Anything." Hiccup replied.
"When you gave your belongings to Johann last month, you kept your helmet. May I ask why if that's okay?" She asked.
Hiccup froze for a moment and knew he had to tell Elsa and her family the weird origin of his helmet. "It's... the only I have left of my mother." Hiccup sighed.
"Did she make it for you when you were a baby?" Iduna asked.
"No, my father made it and gave it to me before my final trial." Hiccup corrected.
"So why is it... a part of her?" Agnarr asked curiously before sipping his orange juice.
"It used to be half of her breast plate." Hiccup simply answered. Agnarr spitted out his juice and coughed a few times before he looked at the boy like everyone else did. "I know what you're thinking, I was digusted at first... but every child should have something that belonged to their mother, to keep them close." Hiccup explained.
Iduna understood this. She been treating Hiccup like a son she never had. "Well, you're not wrong Hiccup. Every child should at least have something that reminds them of their mother." Iduna agreed.
Hiccup smiled and was about to say something but was interrupted when a guard rushed in. "My prince! Sorry to interrupt but your dragon is acting weird like he's trying to fly away!" The guard exclaimed.
Everyone looked at each other before they rushed out of the dining hall and into the courtyard. Once they made it to the courtyard, they saw that Toothless was on top of the stables, moving around crazy like he was trying to fly away but couldn't.
"What's going on with Toothless?" Elsa asked.
"I don't know, I've never seen him like this before. Toothless and I usually go on flights a couple times a day but he's never like this." Hiccup said.
"Well, if he's really wants to go flying again so much, why not build him a new tail so he could go flying on his own and you can spend more time with us." Anna suggested which gave Hiccup an idea.
"Anna, you're a genus!" Hiccup exclaimed.
"I am?" She asked.
"I'll be right." Hiccup said.
Before he could runoff, Elsa stopped him. "Where are you going?" She asked her boyfriend.
"I'm gonna give Toothless his Christmas present early." He said then ran off to the blacksmith shop.
-Time skip-
Hiccup was in shop standing over a new tailfin that was finished on the workbench. Before he could give it some finishing touches, he heard someone behind him. "Hiccup? What are you doing here?" The unknown person asked.
"Oh, hey Henry. Just needed to stop by here to build Toothless' early Christmas present." Hiccup told the man known as Henry.
Henry is known to be Arendelle's only blacksmith and has lived in Arendelle his whole life. He has the body of a blacksmith and he is also bald. When he first met Hiccup, Henry was so impressed with Hiccup blacksmith skills, he offered the boy to work with him. Since then, the blacksmith shop has always been open to Hiccup. "You mind if I have a peak?" Henry asked. Hiccup shrugged and stepped aside to allow the blacksmith to see what he's been working on. "Is that a new tail?" He gasped.
"Yes and the reason for that is because Toothless has been going crazy like he wants to go flying again right after we went on a flight." Hiccup stated.
"So you built him a new tail that will allow him to fly without you." Henry finished as he finally understood why. "A perfect gift for your dragon." Henry smiled.
"Yeah, just need to work on a few adjustments and it will be ready soon." Hiccup confirmed.
"Well, I wish I could stay and help but my family need me for the holiday. So I'll leave you to it." Henry said before he left.
"Alright, see you later Henry and Merry Christmas!" Hiccup called out before he went back to work.
Minutes later, Hiccup went back to the courtyard and saw Toothless on top of the roof of the castle, above his room, stomping and roaring. "Toothless! Come on down, bud. I got something for you." Hiccup grinned, wondering how the dragon will react. Toothless zoomed down and stopped infront of his before sniffing the new tail curiously. "What do you think of that? Yeah." He grinned. Hiccup headed toward the dragon's tail, but Toothless started walking behind him, nosing him and rumbling curiously. "Would you just settle down! Toothless! Come on, bud, let me get this on you!" Hiccup laughed.
Toothless finally stopped moving and held still as Hiccup knelt down and strapped the new tail in. Toothless looked back and growled curiously.
"Yeah, you are... going to love this." Hiccup smiled as he clicked the last cog into place and patted the tail. "Okay." He stood up and Toothless swished it around for two senconds until he began romping in circles, shaking it, and trying to get it off. "No, no, no, Toothless, stop, please wait! Toothless, please!" Hiccup pleaded as he put his hands up to try and stop him. The Night Fury landed on all fours and whipped his tail towards the ground which caused the new tail to open at full size.
The dragon froze with his ears perking up and his eyes widening in surprise. The dragon tested it out and his eyes turned to slits. "Ah, there you go. See. Got it?" Hiccup smiled. Toothless then turned to Hiccup who gave him a big smile. The dragon kept staring at him, breathing in and out through his nostrils. "Toothless-" Hiccup sighed and extended his hand. Instead of a happy reaction, Toothless backed away and shot up straight into the air. Hiccup shield himself with his arms before looking up in the air to see his friend flying fast while roaring. Hiccup stared up in the air sadly, thinking that his best friend was never coming back.
Its been hours since Toothless left and Hiccup was depressed about it. Elsa and her family noticed this and tried everything to lift Hiccup's spirit up but nothing seemed to work. Right now, Elsa was heading towards Hiccup's room to check on him. She stopped in front of the door and knocked before calling out to him. "Hiccup?" She ask. "Please come out." Elsa said but didn't get a response back. "Hiccup, I know you sad about Toothless gone, but laying in bed won't make it better." She sighed. "Can you at least come out... for me? Please." Elsa pleaded to her boyfriend.
Inside the room, Hiccup listened to his girlfrind silently, knowing that she was right. With a sigh, Hiccup got out of his bed and walked towards his door. Once he opened the door, Hiccup and Elsa stared at each other for a moment before they embraced each other. "You okay?" She asked in concerned.
"I'm fine. Elsa, I'm sorry for keeping you and your family worried. It just... Toothless never left me before." Hiccup sighed.
"I'm sure he'll be back love." Elsa said. "Look I don't want to stay miserable all time. You helped me be happy again, it's time I make sure you stay happy." Elsa smiled as she cupped his cheek.
"What do you suggest?" Hiccup smiled.
"Maybe go on a flight on Skadi, just you and me." Elsa offered.
Hiccup thought for a moment and know it would be a good idea. "I would like that." Hiccup said.
"Well, let go." She said but Hiccup stopped her.
"Actually, there's something I got to do first. You mind waiting for in the court yard?" Hiccup asked.
"Of course, my love." Elsa smiled and ran off.
Seconds later, Hiccup knocked on Anna's door and waited for her respond. Anna opened her door and was surprised to see Hiccup there. "Hiccup?" The young princess asked in surprise.
"Hey Anna." Hiccup responded with a smile. "Can you do me a favor?" He asked.
"What do you need?" She asked.
"I need you hang on to this for me." He said as he handed her the betrothal necklace to her.
"What is it?" Anna asked as she studied the necklace.
"It's Elsa's Christmas present and... my betrothal gift to her." He told the wide eyed Anna.
"Really! Oh Hiccup, she gonna love it." Anna gasped happily before becoming serious. "Don't worry my soon-to-be brother-in-law, I won't let you down." Anna saluted
"Thanks Anna." Hiccup chuckled before walking off. Once he made it into the courtyard, he saw his girlfriend getting her dragon ready. "Hello m'lady." The former viking bowed.
"There you are love." Elsa giggled. "What was it that you needed to do?" Elsa asked curiously.
"Oh, nothing important." Hiccup lied. "You ready?" He asked.
"I been ready. I was just waiting for you." Elsa told her viking lover. Elsa climbed onto the saddle and offered a hand to Hiccup who accepted the gesture and climbed up behind her. "Let's go girl." Elsa told Skadi who softly growled before taking off.
Anna's POV
I silently snuck out of the castle and made my way to the stables to go flying on Rockchomper. "Hey chompy." I greeted happily to my dragon who started wagging his tail like a bulldog once he saw me. "Hey boy, you want to go flying?" I asked as he growled in approval. I grabbed his saddle and strapped it on him. I then climbed up and got myself ready. "You ready boy?" I asked him. He happily growled in reply. "Let's go boy." I told him before he started hovering.
Minutes later, we were flying over Arendelle, enjoying the winter breeze. "You know Rockchomper, ever since Hiccup came along, he's been making my sister happy and now, she's gonna be even more happier when he gives this." I said as I pulled out the betrothal necklace and held it by the string. "I made a promise to him, Rockchomper. We need to keep it safe in order for Hiccup and Elsa to be together forever!" I exclaimed as I held the necklace higher. Then all of a sudden, it was snatched out my hand by a Smothering Smokebreath who began flying away with it in its grasp. "Hey! Give that back you necklace stealing theif!" I yelled out before chasing the little gray dragon.
After a few minutes of chasing along with twist and turns, we finally got closer to the little dragon. Before I could grab the necklace, the gray dragon let out a puff of smoke which blinded me. After a seconds of coughing, I swatted the smoke out of my face and saw that the dragon was gone. "No." I said in terror. "Come on Rockchomper, we gotta find that necklace before Hiccup wants it back!" I exclaimed. As we searched for the little dragon, I saw a young blonde boy who look to be Hiccup's age with reindeer. 'Maybe he could help.' I thought before telling my dragon to go lower.
"Excuse me!" I yelled, catching the boy's attention. "Have you seen a little gray dragon flying with a necklace?" I asked the boy.
"Yeah, it actually went that way." He pointed to the direction he was coming from.
"Thanks." I said before flying towards the said direction.
Normal POV
As Anna and Rockchomper flew away, they didn't notice that the boy was watching them. "Come on Sven." The boy said to the reindeer.
While the princess and her dragon flew, Anna noticed a light trail of smoke leading to a cave. "Down there boy." Anna said as the green Gronckle flew down, towards the cave. Once they entered the cave, Anna's eye's widened when she saw a bunch of metal everywhere. "Whoa." She gasped before she spotted the necklace. "There it is." Anna smiled but her smile soon faded when she a bunch of Smokebreaths smelting down the metal. "Oh I forget, Hiccup said that they steal metal to build their nest. Okay, I need to think of how to get the necklace without being detected." She said to herself as she started thinking. Rockchomper then spotted something and got Anna's attention. "What is it boy?" She asked before notice a pile of metal beside them. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" Anna asked as the green dragon growled in approval.
As the Smothering Smokebreaths were busy smelting down the metal, something caught their attention. "Yoo hoo." Anna called out. "You guys like metal? We'll get ready for the main event!" She pointed out. The gray dragons went wide eyed when they saw a huge pile of metal being carried by Rockchomper. They dragons couldn't contain themselves and flew at full speed which caused the Gronckle to fly away in terror.
With the dragons occupied, Anna raced foward to grabbed the necklace before the dragons could come back. After she grabbed the necklace, Anna zoomed out of the cave and spotted Rockchomper flying towards her, empty handed. "Good boy Rockchomper. Okay, let's get out of here before they come back." Anna said before they flew off.
-With Hiccup and Elsa-
Hiccup and Elsa just got with their flight and landed in the courtyard. "Thanks Els. I really needed that." Hiccup smiled.
"I'm glad I could help, my love." Elsa said to her beloved.
"Well, it's getting kinda late. You mind if I escort you to your room m'lady." Hiccup bowed with his hand out.
"Of course my handsome prince." Elsa giggled as she took his hand and was escorted. Once they made it to her room, Elsa went inside and pulled Hiccup with before shutting the door. After a few minutes, Hiccup exited the room with lip marks all over his face which he didn't noticed. After getting his thoughts together, Hiccup headed to Anna's room to pick up his necklace. Once he got there, the boy knocked on the door which was soon opened.
"Hey Hiccu-" Anna didn't finished before she started laughing at Hiccup's face.
"What's wrong?" Hiccup asked confused.
"Hiccup, when is the last time you in the mirror?" Anna asked while giggling.
"Not too long ago. Why?" Hiccup asked, still confused.
"Hold on." The red head said before walking away and came back with a small mirror. "Here." She handed him the mirror. Hiccup took the mirror and saw that he had kiss marks on his face. "So, did you two have a good time together?" Anna asked wiggling her eyebrows. Hiccup blushed at the question. "I'm just messing with you. I'm guessing you want your necklace back?" Anna asked.
"Yeah." Hiccup answered. Anna took the necklace from her pocket and handed it to HIccup. "Thanks Anna. I owe you one." Hiccup smiled. Anna did a two finger salute and went back into her room.
It was now close to midnight and everything was quiet. Hiccup was in the middle of looking over his necklace and then all of a sudden, he heard a knock. Quickly as possible, Hiccup placed the necklace in his pocket and went to answer the door. Once he answered, Hiccup saw Elsa standing there. "Hey Els, you need anything?" He asked.
"Hiccup, can you walk with me?" Elsa asked him.
"Of course." Hiccup answered. The boy followed his girlfriend around until they made it to the family room. Once they entered, Hiccup was surprised to see everyone there, but what surprised him more was that there was a bunch of presents on the center table with his name on them. "What's all this?" He asked everyone.
"Hiccup, since this is your first Christmas and you were sad that Toothless left, we decided that it's best for you open your gifts on Christmas Eve." Iduna smiled.
Hiccup was shocked by this. "I... I don't know what to say. Thank you." Hiccup smiled in return. Elsa lead her boyfriend and sat him down so he could open his gifts.
After opening all of his gifts, Hiccup was surprised at what everyone got him. He got new clothes, new robes, new slippers, a new art book, a new journal, new writing utensils, a new apron for smithing, and a stump sock for his leg. All that's left is his gift from Elsa. "Here you go, love." Elsa handed him an evelope before kissing his cheek. Hiccup opened the envelope and was shocked of what it was.
"This is the formula for Gronckle Iron." He gasped and looked at his princess. "How did you get this?" He asked.
"Lets just say I know a few Gronckles I work with." Elsa smiled before she was pulled in a hug by her boyfriend.
"Thank you Elsa. You don't know how happy I am about this." Hiccup smiled before letting her go. "I think it's time I gave you my gift." Hiccup said as pulled out his betrothal necklace. "Elsa, this was my father's betrothal gift to my mother." He to her as she gasped. "He gave it to me to give it to someone I want to spend the rest of my life with. That someone... is you Elsa." Hiccup smiled as he placed the necklace on her.
Elsa looked at the rusty metal with tears in her eyes. "Hiccup, I don't know what to say. It's beautiful. Thank you." She smiled. Elsa looked up for a second then looked back at her betroth. "Hey Hiccup?" She asked.
"Yeah?" He asked in return.
"Mistletoe." She smiled as they looked up and saw a mistletoe hanging above them. They blushed before leaning in and locking their lips together in a passionate kiss as everyone smiled. They both separated from the kiss and embraced each other in a hug.
Hiccup smiled for a moment but sooned frown. "Elsa, where did Toothless go?" He asked sadly.
"I don't know." Elsa said before hearing the door opened and saw none other than Toothless entering the room quietly with something in his mouth. Elsa secretly smiled at this. "Hiccup, turn around." She smiled.
"Why?" He asked confused.
"Just do it, silly." Elsa giggled.
"Hiccup sighed before turning around but soon gasped as he saw Toothless there. "TOOTHLESS! Hey bud!" Hiccup exclaimed as the two best friends ran to each other. Once he got close, Hiccup immediatly hugged the dragon around his neck. After hugging for a few seconds, Hiccup let go before confronting the dragon. "Bad dragon. Very bad dragon. You scared me to death. Don't ever stay away that long again and what is in your mouth?" The boy qustioned before the dragon lowered his mouth on the boy's head.
"EW!" Everyone gagged.
Toothless lifted his head up and it reveal that Hiccup's helmet was on his rider's head, full of saliva. "Ha ha, yeah you found my helmet." He chuckled before realizing what he just said. "Wha- Hey, you found my helmet. That's where you've been?" He asked as Toothless nudged him with his head. "Buddy thank you. You are amazing." Hiccup smiled before hugging him again as everyone cheered for the dragon's return.
Hiccup's POV and Narration
It was Christmas morning and I went outside while Elsa and her family were opening presents. Everyone was celebrating with their dragons along with the baby dragons. "I'm coming Toothless!" I yelled out. "Alright bud, come on down. I was just-" I didn't finish as saw Toothless sitting there with his old tail and saddle in front of him. "Toothless, what did you pull this out for? You don't need this anymore." I kicked the saddle away. "Come on, let's get going." I reached out but Toothless moved away. "You quit fooling around, you have your new tail now. Toothless?" I looked at his dragon in suspicious. Toothless lifted up and looked at his tail for a moment before slamming it on the ground multiple times. "TOOTHLESS, STOP. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I screamed, trying to stop him, but I was too late when the tail came off and he threw it far away. Toothless then brought his old saddle in front and pushed it towards me with his paw. It made me realize what he wanted. He wanted us to fly the old fashioned way.
Moments later, we were flying high above Arendelle.
"Winter and Arendelle lasted for months and the only real comforts against the cold are those you keep close to your heart. It turns that Christmas, happened to be the best holiday ever. That year, I gave both my bestfriend and girlfriend a pretty great gift. Toothless and Elsa gave me a better one.
Author's note: I hope you like this chapter because I did my best to make it great. I liked both Jake's and Monkey D's idea's so I decided to combine them with my own so thank you, you two. I also gave Anna, Agnarr, and Iduna their own dragons and hope you like the names I gave them. I also like the name Skadi from the 'No Need for Titles' fanfiction so I decided to give Elsa's dragon that name. Also, I know I said wanted this chapter published before Christmas but I decided to publish it on Christmas day.
I also want to say Happy late birthday to our wonderful snow queen Elsa. Anyway, you guys have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
