On Friday morning at the Palm Woods Hotel, the students gathered in the classroom, eagerly chatting amongst themselves while waiting for Miss Collins to arrive. The popular kids were buzzing about the latest trends, the athletic kids were discussing the thrilling L.A Lakers basketball game they had watched on TV, and the fashion-conscious kids were excitedly sharing how they managed to snag their desired clothes at the mall. Meanwhile, most of the other kids were animatedly discussing their weekend plans.
In the midst of all this, Logan, a very shy individual who couldn't relate to any of those topics, sought solace in reading a science magazine about the upcoming solar eclipse. However, Jett, a notoriously arrogant teenager who had never been kind to anyone in the classroom, took pleasure in targeting Logan for taunting and teasing. He sauntered over to Logan's desk and snatched the science magazine from his hands.
"Give it back, Jett. That wasn't yours to take. You don't even enjoy reading. The magazine holds no purpose or value for you," Logan asserted.
"I don't care. It's yours, and seeing you desperate to have it back is pathetic. You're a loser," Jett retorted, rudely laughing.
Logan, undeterred by Jett's mean comments, confidently responded, "I said give it back now."
Jett, wearing a snarky smile, replied, "I'm going to have to decline your request because I couldn't care less about your feelings."
"I won't stop asking until you return my magazine. Stop being difficult and give it back," Logan firmly stated.
At this point, the entire classroom had fallen silent, fully engrossed in their own conversations. However, no one had yet intervened to resolve the situation.
