Katie and Carlos retreat to her room and she climbs back into bed, pulling the sheets and covers over herself. "I'm ready," she declares.

Carlos then proceeds to share his favorite lullaby, one that his Papi used to sing to him. It goes, "Estrellita que al brillar, Me pregunto cómo estás, Arriba en la inmensidad, Un diamante celestial, Estrellita que al brillar, Me pregunto cómo estás," which translates to "Little star that shines, I wonder how you are, Up in the immensity, A heavenly diamond, Little star that shines, I wonder how you are."

"That was beautiful, Carlos," Katie says, letting out a yawn. "I feel much better now. Thank you. I'm more relaxed, and even Giggles seems to be too," she adds, hugging her stuffed monkey.

"I'm always happy to help you, Katie, because you're my favorite sister in the world," Carlos expresses, embracing her. "I know we're not biologically related, but the bond between us is incredibly strong and special, and I cherish that bond and you."

"You're amazing, Carlos. Please don't leave just yet. The storm outside hasn't subsided, and I can't ignore it very well," Katie pleads.

"When bad weather troubles me at night, I always imagine it as an adventure rather than a bad storm. I envision the weather as a magical experience and change the situation to something I enjoy," Carlos suggests. "Let's try it together, okay?"

"Okay," Katie agrees.

"Great," Carlos responds, lying down on the floor. "First, let's close our eyes and imagine that instead of rain, something else is falling. I'm picturing corn dogs. What about you?"

"Gummy bears," Katie replies, as it is her favorite candy.

"Yummy! That's a fantastic choice," Carlos exclaims.

As they lay there, imagining the storm outside as a whimsical shower of corn dogs and gummy bears, Katie and Carlos couldn't help but giggle at the absurdity of it all. The tension and fear that had been lingering in the room slowly dissipated, replaced by a sense of joy and playfulness.

After a while, the storm outside began to calm down, and the sound of rain hitting the window softened. Katie and Carlos opened their eyes, feeling lighter and more at ease than before.

"See, Katie? Sometimes all it takes is a little imagination to turn something scary into something fun," Carlos says with a smile.

"Thank you, Carlos. I don't know what I would do without you," Katie says, giving him a grateful hug.

As they settled back into bed, the room filled with a sense of peace and contentment. The storm may have been raging outside, but inside Katie's room, there was nothing but warmth and love. And as they drifted off to sleep, Katie and Carlos knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always have each other to lean on.

Carlos was in such a deep slumber by sunrise that he was drooling and snoring away.

"Carlos, wake up!" Kendall calls out.

Slowly, Carlos opens his eyes to find Kendall standing over him.

"What's up?" He asks with a yawn.

"Morning, sleepyhead. Time for breakfast and school. Why are you crashed out on the floor in Katie's room? James said you never made it back to your bed last night," Kendall explains.

"Katie wanted me to stay with her while the storm was still raging outside," Carlos replies, scanning the room. "Where is she? Did the shadow demons whisk her away into the darkness?"

Kendall gives him a puzzled look and raises an eyebrow. "What on earth are you talking about? Katie's perfectly fine. She's in the living room watching SpongeBob on TV. She's been asking for you. Let's go," Kendall says, leading the way out of the room.

"Buenos Dias, Carlos. Did you find the floor of my room to be cozy enough for a good night's sleep? You didn't even have a cushion or pillow," Katie remarks.

"I was so exhausted that it didn't faze me at all," Carlos replies. "I'm just relieved that you were able to make it through the night without any further issues."

"Thank you. Perhaps Tuesday will bring us luck and we'll finally see Logan return home from the hospital," Katie muses.

"I certainly hope so," Carlos says, as he prepares a grilled cheese sandwich. "I can't bear another day without him."

Later in the afternoon, Logan's fortunate day arrives as he is finally discharged from the hospital. The anticipation of returning home fills him with joy, eager to be in a serene and comfortable setting to aid in his recovery.

Inside his hospital room, a nurse assists him into a wheelchair, preparing to escort him downstairs to the parking lot.

"May I push you downstairs in your wheelchair, Logan?" Katie inquires.

"Certainly, Katie-Bear," Logan replies.

"Please refrain from any Tokyo Drift maneuvers," Kendall interjects.

Katie, feeling slighted by Kendall's lack of trust, retorts, "Do you truly doubt my ability to safely navigate a wheelchair with our brother on board? If you're that concerned, you can take over."

Disheartened, she moves to a nearby couch and sinks down with a heavy sigh.

"Kendall, your lack of faith in Katie is unwarranted. You should trust her as I do. Your comments were baseless and unkind. How could you treat your own sister in such a manner?" Logan questions.

As the realization of his unfairness towards Katie sinks in, Kendall approaches his sulking little sister. "I apologize for doubting your abilities and underestimating you. I didn't consider your feelings at all. I've missed Logan so much, and I know you have too. If you want, you can still push his wheelchair downstairs."

"Do you really mean that? You trust me not to mess up?" Katie asks, her eyes filled with hope.

"Absolutely. I have complete faith in you to safely handle the wheelchair," Kendall reassures her.

"Thank you, Kendall," Katie says, a smile finally appearing on her face.

"I'm glad you two worked things out, or else Carlos would've given you a hard time in a painful way, Kendall," James chuckles.

"I wouldn't have gone that far. We're in a hospital, and Logan will be taken care of," Carlos adds.

"Let's not dwell on it, Carlos. I've apologized, and that's the end of it. Our focus now is getting Logan back home," Kendall declares.

"I'm grateful that I parked near the front of the hospital, so we don't have to walk too far in the parking lot," Ms. Knight chimes in.

With their issues resolved, they all leave the room, head to the elevator, make their way to the car, assist Logan in climbing inside, and finally return to the Palm Woods.

"What plans await us back at the Palm Woods?" Carlos inquires.

"I simply yearn to drift off in my own cozy bed," Logan admits.

"You don't want to join our company?" Carlos asks with a tinge of disappointment.

"Indeed, I do, but this medication zaps my vitality, making any activity seem daunting. Rest is key for healing," Logan explains.

"Perhaps we can bring the merriment to you," Carlos suggests optimistically.

"Save it for later, my friend. Right now, I must prioritize self-care. Your concern only adds to my stress, and that's not beneficial for any of us," Logan imparts.

"Hey Logan, I apologize for not realizing that I was causing you stress. I'm just really glad to have you back with us. I wanted to spend time with you because I missed you so much, but you're absolutely right, your health should come first. Take the time you need to rest and take care of yourself." Carlos explains.

Logan smiles and responds, "I'm really happy that you understand. I missed all of you too, even Mr. Bitters, although that's only a small fraction of how much I missed him."

Carlos chuckles and agrees, acknowledging Mr. Bitters' less-than-friendly attitude towards the residents of the Palm Woods.

As they arrive at the Palm Woods, Ms. Knight pulls into the parking lot and finds a spot. "Alright boys, we're here," she announces. "Be careful when helping Logan out of the car. His shoulder injury is still quite sore, and his arm in the sling is delicate and sensitive. It needs extra care to heal."

"We got it, Mom," Kendall assures her as he assists Logan out of the car and into the Palm Woods lobby.

"Attention, everyone! Make way for our delicate teenage boy!" James loudly declares, causing the teenage residents in the lobby to stop and look at him before dispersing.

Logan feels a bit embarrassed by James' overprotective behavior and says, "James, I'm not the president of the United States. You don't have to act like a secret service agent."

James defends himself, "Well, you did mention that you wanted to go upstairs and rest. Clearing the lobby was the quickest way to make that happen. You're welcome."

Logan sighs, realizing that reasoning with James is futile, and accepts defeat as they all step into the elevator and ride it up to Apartment 2J.
