Upon entering Apartment 2J, the boys and Katie are welcomed by Camille and Jo.
"Hello, boys," Jo greets.
"We're delighted to have you back, Logan," Camille expresses.
"I appreciate that. I'm going to retire for a nap," Logan announces.
"Are you feeling unwell?" Camille inquires with concern.
"I'm perfectly fine, Cami. No need to worry. It's just the pain medication," Logan reassures before heading to the bedroom he shares with Kendall.
"What did he mean by 'it's the pain meds'?" Camille questions.
"The doctor at the hospital prescribed him a potent painkiller that eases his discomfort but also induces fatigue," Kendall clarifies.
"I see. He definitely needs his rest. With his medical knowledge, he's practically his own doctor," Camille remarks.
"Exactly. He wouldn't want you to panic like you tend to do," James interjects.
"James!" Kendall scolds.
"Come on, man!" Carlos adds.
"What?! She does tend to overreact. You both know I'm right! Don't I have a point, Katie?"
"Please spare me from your adolescent theatrics. I want no part in it," Katie declares, heading to her bedroom.
"Sorry about that, Camille. James can be a bit much sometimes," Kendall apologizes.
"It's alright. I understand. Boys will be boys, right?" Camille chuckles.
"Exactly. Anyway, how have you been? We missed you while we were away," Kendall asks.
"I've been good, just keeping busy with work and taking care of Logan during hospital visits. It's been a bit challenging with his injury, but we're managing," Camille explains.
"Well, we're here now, so hopefully we can help out a bit. And I'm sure Logan appreciates all that you do for him," Kendall says sincerely.
"He does. He's lucky to have such caring friends like you guys," Camille smiles.
"We're lucky to have him too. He's like the glue that holds us all together," Kendall admits.
"I can see that. He's a great guy," Camille agrees.
Just then, Logan emerges from the bedroom, looking refreshed from his nap.
"Feeling better?" Kendall asks.
"Much better, thanks. I needed that rest," Logan replies.
"We were just talking about how lucky we are to have you as a friend," Kendall tells him.
"Aw, you guys are gonna make me blush," Logan jokes.
"We mean it though. You're like family to us," James adds.
"Thanks, guys. I appreciate that. And Camille, thank you for taking care of me. I don't know what I'd do without you," Logan says gratefully.
"It's my pleasure, Logan. You'd do the same for me," Camille replies.
With that, the group settles in for a relaxing evening together, grateful for the bond they share and the support they provide each other. Apartment 2J truly feels like home.
Logan struggles to eat his fruit cup at dinner, prompting Camille to offer assistance. "You should try using your other arm," she suggests.
"I know, but the doctor said I need to exercise my shoulder," Logan explains. "I'm just making it sore."
Feeling concerned for his friend, Kendall suggests they do something special to cheer Logan up during his recovery.
"What should we do?" James asks.
"I'm not sure yet, but it has to be something really special," Kendall replies.
"He's always there for us, so it's only fair we do something nice for him," Jo adds.
"Fiesta," Carlos whispers.
The group brainstormed ideas, trying to come up with the perfect plan to lift Logan's spirits. Kendall suggested throwing a surprise party with all of Logan's favorite things, while James proposed taking him on a weekend getaway to a nearby beach. Jo suggested organizing a movie marathon with all of Logan's favorite films, while Carlos insisted on throwing a fiesta complete with music, dancing, and delicious food.
After much deliberation, they decided to combine all of their ideas into one epic celebration for Logan. They'll rent a beach house for the weekend, stocked up with Logan's favorite snacks and movies, and even hire a local band to play at their fiesta. And imagine Logan walking into the beach house, to be greeted with cheers and applause from his friends, who had all come together to show their love and support for him during his recovery.
"We could charter a beach house and use all our creativity to lift Logan's spirits," James suggests.
"How do you propose we afford that? We're not exactly rolling in beach house funds," Kendall points out.
"You're right, but we don't need money for a beach house if we can use one that's already been paid for. Let's ask Griffin," Katie suggests.
"Arthur Griffin, the big shot CEO of Rocque Records?" Jo questions.
"That's the one," Katie confirms.
"Griffin's not exactly known for his generosity. He's more of an ego-centric type, even worse than Gustavo," Kendall remarks. "I highly doubt he'll let us borrow his beach house."
"We have to at least try. Logan deserves a tranquil environment to heal and break free from his sadness," Katie insists.
Exhaling heavily, Kendall concedes, "Fine, I'll ask tomorrow. But I'm not getting my hopes up."
