Later that evening in Apartment 2J...
The boys and Katie are engrossed in watching television when they hear a knock on the door. Ms. Knight promptly opens it.
"Hello Gustavo, what a surprise to see you here at this hour on a weekday. Is there a specific reason?" she inquires.
"Well, I'm actually here to apologize to Kendall, James, and Carlos for my behavior towards them earlier today," Gustavo explains.
"You three went to Rocque Records without informing me? Why was I left out?" Logan questions. "What could have possibly compelled Gustavo to apologize? He rarely does so when it's just the four of us. Now, drama unfolds at Rocque Records and suddenly he feels the need to apologize. What's happening?"
Kendall, feeling nervous, interjects, "There are indeed many questions. Unfortunately, I can't answer them right now as I need to speak with Gustavo. James and Carlos, please join me in the hallway quickly." He urges them to follow him.
Logan watches them exit the room and expresses his annoyance, "You three are acting so strangely! I haven't been given any explanation yet."
In the bustling hallway, tension and secrecy filled the air as Kendall reprimanded Gustavo for almost blowing Logan's surprise.
"Why couldn't you just send a simple text?" James quipped with a hint of sass.
"We need to keep this under wraps until the weekend," Carlos added firmly, emphasizing the importance of the secret.
Gustavo, realizing his mistake, apologized sincerely and inquired about Logan's well-being. Kendall assured him that while Logan was sore, he was on the path to recovery.
Concerned about Logan's sleep, Gustavo asked Kendall, who reassured him that Logan was resting peacefully, with occasional murmurs of discomfort that quickly subsided.
Before leaving, Gustavo requested that his relief for Logan's well-being be relayed, to which the group agreed. With a nod of gratitude, Gustavo quietly exited the scene, leaving the group to keep Logan's surprise intact.
Upon reentering Apartment 2J, Kendall, James, and Carlos are greeted by Logan's frustrated and bewildered expression.
"What are you guys hiding from me? We're a team, we're brothers. We don't keep secrets. Trust is the foundation of our bond," he asserts.
"We can't disclose anything just yet," Kendall replies.
"It would jeopardize everything," James adds.
"Sorry, Logie," Carlos apologizes.
Logan sighs. "Fine. First, I end up injured and stuck with this cumbersome arm sling, and now you three have a secret you won't share with me. What's next? Is my girlfriend going to break up with me?!" he exclaims.
"I don't think she'll break up with you because of your situation. You two love each other," James responds.
"That was a rhetorical question! Expand your vocabulary!" Logan snaps.
"Logan, would you like to come to my room and teach me sudoku? Maybe that will cheer you up," Katie suggests, sensing his growing agitation.
Logan looks at her sad face and realizes she might cry. "Sure, Katie-Bear. I'm sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable and sad. I never want to do that," he says sincerely.
"It's not your fault. This whole situation is becoming awkward and uncomfortable, and I just want it to end," Katie admits.
"Me too," Logan agrees, following her to her room.
