On Thursday morning, the weather is delightful with clear skies and abundant sunshine. Kendall awakens to a distorted voice calling his name, followed by a blurry face peering down at him. Startled, he realizes that his bed is shaking. With wide-open eyes, he searches for the source of this disturbance. However, his expression quickly changes from surprise to irritation upon realizing that it is his sister, Katie.

"Why are you shaking my bed as if the entire building is on fire?!" he exclaims loudly, but he consciously lowers his volume so as not to disturb Logan, who is still sound asleep and enjoying a deep slumber.

Katie responds, "Mom asked me to inform you that you need to make breakfast because she has important adult responsibilities to attend to all day."

Kendall, still groggy and yawning, retorts, "Couldn't you have waited until I was actually awake and ready for the day before telling me that?"

"Yeah, I could have, but I'm hungry now and I want food. Besides, you're my big brother, and it's your sacred duty to take care of me," Katie asserts.

Chuckling, Kendall replies, "Sacred duty isn't the term I would use, but sure, why not?" He playfully tousles her hair and walks out of the room with her.

After a span of ten minutes, James, Carlos, and Logan make their way into the living room.

"Logan, did you manage to get a good night's sleep?" Kendall inquires. "How is your arm holding up?"

"I did sleep well, but my arm is still causing me a great deal of discomfort. I am not inclined to return to school until this arm sling is no longer necessary," Logan responds.

"It will indeed require some time, Logan. You have never been absent from school for an extended period. Even during our elementary and middle school years, you hardly missed any days. Your attendance record was impeccable," Kendall remarks.

"I am aware of that, but school can sometimes feel like a battleground of judgments and unfair expectations regarding appearance, behavior, and even thoughts," Logan expresses. "My mother was correct. Perhaps I should have been homeschooled by her."

"In that case, you would still be residing in Minnesota. Do you have any regrets about relocating to Los Angeles?" James inquires.

"I am uncertain. At times, I ponder how our lives would have unfolded if Gustavo had not discovered us, if we had not auditioned for him, if we had not seen his television advertisement seeking talent. We would have remained hockey players at our local high school, leading the lives of typical teenagers," Logan reflects.

"Logan, we were unaware that you harbored such sentiments," Carlos admits.

"It is alright. I did not anticipate any of you to be aware," Logan responds.

Logan lounges on the couch post-breakfast, lazily watching Kendall, James, Carlos, and Katie head off to school. Upon entering the classroom, he is immediately seized by Camille, who appears to be in a state of frenzy.

"Whoa!" Kendall exclaims, taken aback. "What's with the dramatic entrance?"

"I overheard Katie spilling to Tyler about Logan's state of mind before you all went downstairs. Is he really that down in the dumps? Does he truly miss Minnesota?" Camille asks, her grip on Kendall's shoulders tightening.

"Firstly, why were you eavesdropping on Katie and Tyler? And secondly, ease up on the death grip, you're crushing me!" Kendall responds, attempting to pull away.

Reluctantly releasing Kendall, Camille continues, "I didn't mean to, but do you know if it's true? Is Logan really feeling that way?"

"Yeah, but we have the beach house, remember? Griffin gave us the green light. The plan is a go," Kendall reassures her.

"That's a relief. Sorry for the mini freak-out. You know how much I worry about Logan," Camille confesses.

"You're the best, Cami. Logan's lucky to have someone as dedicated and supportive as you," Kendall says with a warm smile.
