The entire Palm Woods school is assigned to do a special science project by watching the solar eclipse. Logan is the only one excited to participate because he enjoys astronomy. Most the other students don't share his passion for science. Jett teases him about it to the point where Logan doesn't want to look at the eclipse anymore. 29. Twilight Zone 6 C

The boys make their way into Apartment 2J, their faces filled with secrets.

"Where have you been all this time? Katie arrived home hours ago," Logan demands, eyebrows furrowed.

"We were caught up," Kendall replies evasively.

"In what exactly?" Logan presses on.

"Rocque Records," Carlos blurts out, betraying their pact of silence.

"Carlos!" James and Kendall shoot him disapproving glares.

"Again? How could you go without me, especially after being there just the day before? What are you hiding?" Logan probes, suspicion rising.

"We can't spill the beans," Kendall insists, a hint of nervousness creeping into his tone.

"Ah, I've caught on to your game now. It's clear as day," Logan smirks, thinking he has it all figured out.

"Really?" Kendall asks tentatively, fearing Logan may have uncovered their surprise plan.

"Yes. I know Gustavo's roped you into some menial tasks, hasn't he?" Logan smugly assumes.

"Not quite the revelation we were expecting... and completely off the mark," James interjects, squashing Logan's theory.

"Rarely am I mistaken, but your mysterious trips to Rocque Records without me have me feeling like there's a secret I'm not privy to. What do you know that I don't? Is there a hidden pact to keep me in the dark? Did Gustavo spill some forbidden truth during your visits, threatening you with grueling rehearsals once I'm back on my feet?" Logan's voice carried a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

"Gustavo isn't part of this puzzle. You can scratch him off the suspect list," Kendall assured.

"Well, I'll crack this case sooner or later. Perhaps I should play detective like Sherlock Holmes for a bit. It might offer some entertainment during this lengthy recovery," Logan mused.

"Sure thing, buddy," Kendall replied.

"Now that you're home, it's time to tackle your homework. Save your mom the trouble of reminding you," Logan winked.

"Is education the only thing on your mind?" James groaned, reluctant to shift focus to academics.

"Education may not be glamorous, but it's the key to a brighter future, James," Logan reasoned.
