"Do you really believe Katie can keep Logan occupied while we prepare for his surprise party?" Camille inquires.

"Absolutely. Logan and Katie have an unbreakable bond that's essential to them. Their connection is rock solid," James reassures.

"You're right. Logan truly values her, almost like a little sister. And I adore how he affectionately calls her Katie-Bear," Camille agrees.

"Then it's settled. We depart tonight. I'll ensure Logan takes his drowsy medication, so he'll sleep through the journey," Kendall plans.

"If this scheme fails, there will be consequences," Camille points out.

"Which is why we need to execute it flawlessly," Kendall concludes.

Later that night, Kendall administers the additional sleep-inducing pain medication to Logan, observing as he peacefully relaxes on the couch.

"Alright, guys, we need to quickly pack our things," the blonde teenager announces. "The effects of the medication won't last indefinitely, but it should be enough for us to reach Griffin's mansion."

James and Carlos agree, swiftly gathering their belongings.

Katie expresses her concerns, "It doesn't feel right to drug Logan in order for our plan to succeed. He's our friend and brother. Isn't there another way for him to accompany us to Malibu without arousing suspicion?"

"I wish there was, but we have to proceed with the plan for Logan's well-being," Kendall responds. "James and Carlos, you must carefully and gently carry Logan downstairs to my mom's car."

"Do you expect us to carry him along with his luggage and ours?" James questions.

"Yes, you only have duffle bags. Can you manage? Both you and Carlos are stronger than I am," Kendall asserts.

After exchanging glances, Carlos shrugs and nods. "Alright, we'll handle it," James concedes.

Kendall watches as James and Carlos carefully lift Logan off the couch, being mindful of his comfort and the effects of the medication. Logan stirs slightly, but remains in a peaceful slumber. Kendall can't help but feel a pang of guilt as he sees his friend being carried like this, but he knows it's necessary for their plan to succeed.

As James and Carlos make their way downstairs with Logan in their arms, Kendall and Katie quickly gather their own belongings. Kendall's mind races with thoughts of what lies ahead - the risks they're taking, the danger they might face. But he pushes those thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand.

Once everything is packed, Kendall and Katie join James and Carlos in the car. Kendall's mom, who has been supportive of their plan from the beginning, starts the engine and they begin their journey to Griffin's mansion in Malibu.

The car ride is filled with a mix of tension and anticipation. Kendall can't help but steal glances at Logan, who is still peacefully sleeping in the backseat. He hopes that their plan will work, that they can find a way to help Logan without causing him any harm.

After what feels like an eternity, they finally arrive at Griffin's mansion. Kendall's mom parks the car and they all gather outside, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead. Kendall takes a moment to look at his friends - James, Carlos, Katie, and Logan - and feels a surge of determination.

"We're in this together," Kendall says, his voice filled with conviction. "No matter what happens, we'll find a way to help Logan. We just have to stick together and trust each other."

His friends nod in agreement, their eyes filled with determination. They know that the road ahead won't be easy, but they're willing to do whatever it takes to help their friend. With that, they take a deep breath and step forward, ready to face whatever awaits them inside Griffin's mansion.

Logan gradually awakens hours later as the sky begins to brighten. As he becomes more aware of his surroundings, he notices the movement outside and realizes that he is in a car, feeling the presence of a seatbelt securing him.

"What is happening?! Have I been abducted? Let me go home immediately!" he exclaims.

Suddenly, he feels a hand on his shoulder and jumps in surprise. He then catches a familiar scent of perfume, one that can only belong to Camille. Confused, he turns his head to find her sitting beside him, causing his eyes to widen. "Oh no! You've been kidnapped too! Don't worry, I will protect you!"

Logan's concern is met with a reassuring response from Camille. "That's very kind of you, Logan, but I assure you, I am fine, and so are you," she says.

Perplexed, Logan questions their location. "Where are we? I see numerous palm trees outside and a vast beach. What is happening?"

"We are in Malibu," Camille reveals.

Logan's mind is filled with confusion. "Malibu?! What are we doing in Malibu?" he asks.

"It will become clear to you later," Kendall interjects.

"Don't worry, you will understand soon enough," James adds.

"Yeah, just remain calm," Carlos advises.

Feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, Logan expresses his exasperation. "My head is spinning. I am incredibly confused right now."

As the car turns into a long, opulent driveway, Ms. Knight announces their arrival. "We have arrived."

Logan peers out of the window, observing a beautiful garden and well-maintained lawn. "Where are we? What is this place?" he inquires.

"It is Griffin's mansion," Katie reveals.

Logan turns to Kendall in disbelief. "Kendall, did she just say Griffin's mansion?"

"Indeed," Kendall confirms.

"Why have we ventured to Griffin's majestic abode? Surely he wouldn't just welcome us with open arms. My mind is unable to grasp the reasoning behind this." Logan expresses with a sigh.

"We shall reveal all in due time," Kendall assures.

Annoyed groans escape Logan. "Enough of the vague responses! I grow weary of this repetitive cycle with minimal information. Give me answers that actually make sense!"

Attempting to ease the tension, Carlos diverts their attention. "Take a gander at the intricate tapestry plants," he gestures as they exit the vehicle.

"Topiary, Carlos, not tapestry," Logan corrects with a frustrated sigh at the mispronunciation and misidentification of the plants.
