Mason marvels at Kendall's demanding friends beyond their tight-knit circle of Carlos and Logan.

"Fortunately, they eventually came around to accepting Katie," James reflects.

"Thank goodness," Mason agrees.

Meanwhile, Logan and Katie continue their quest for an elusive eagle feather.

"Katie, even if we discover one, we can't take it home," Logan cautions.

"Why not?" Katie inquires.

"Eagles are protected, so we can't disturb their feathers," Logan explains.

"I wouldn't want to jeopardize nature by breaking the law," Katie states sadly. "But I still want to find a gift for Tyler."

"We'll find a suitable memento without harming any laws or animals," Logan reassures.

"How?" Katie wonders.

"Perhaps we could venture into the wilderness and capture some stunning photographs of wildlife. With a stroke of luck, we may even spot a majestic eagle soaring above or perched gracefully on a tree limb," Logan suggests. "But if you're thinking of collecting an eagle feather legally, it's a whole process that requires time, money, and qualifications. No need to dive into something you're not ready for."

"That's a valid point. I've never photographed a wild animal before. What if I'm not skilled enough?" Katie wonders.

"You'll never know unless you give it a shot," Logan encourages.

As Katie waited for any glimpse of wildlife, her impatience bubbled to the surface with a loud groan. "This is dragging on forever. How much time has passed? An hour?"

"Five minutes," Logan responds with a chuckle, amused by her restlessness.

"What if we don't spot any animals?" Katie worries aloud.

"I'm certain there are creatures nearby. These trees provide ideal shelter for birds and squirrels," Logan reassures her.

"I don't just want to see any animals. I crave something thrilling and unexpected, like a graceful deer. Maybe even a sweet baby deer, reminiscent of Bambi," Katie muses.

"Ah, so you long to be whisked away into a classic Disney tale?" Logan teases.

"I'd take that over this tedious waiting any day," Katie insists.

"I admire your enthusiasm for Disney, but alas, reality isn't quite as magical as an animated movie filled with talking animals on grand quests," Logan remarks.

"It should be," Katie mutters with a pout.
