Glowing: A peaceful afternoon between the King and Queen.

Daeron doesn't know how it's even possible, she somehow appears more beautiful than the last time he's laid eyes on her. But now, she's just so spell binding and hypnotic as she plucked the strings of her harp. Like a siren luring unsuspecting sailors to their doom. An ending he wouldn't mind falling into.

Soft laughter met his ears as grey eyes opened amusedly. "What?" She asked after feeling his prologued stare as they sat in their private garden away from politics or judgmental wary gazes.

Daeron breathed out a small chuckle as he leaned back against the Heart Tree that signified his Queen's faith. "You're just so beautiful." He said, his gaze never left her form.

Lyarra shook his head at him but didn't stop herself from smiling. "Liar, I'm fat."

Daeron chuckled and leaned closer to her. "You're pregnant."

"Still fat." Lyarra stated, raising her eyebrows as he came towards her and wrapped an arm around her, guiding her head to lean back against his shoulder while his other hand reached down to caress her swollen belly.

"Don't be silly, you're just as beautiful as the day I met you. And you're just gonna keep growing beautiful every day." Daeron whispered, kissing her head, making their silly disagreement vanish as she snuggled against him while plucking the strings.

Nearly a year into their marriage and they are already expecting a child. Lyarra knew this would happen eventually, not because it was her duty as Queen to provide her King with heirs, but because of how much the two have made love. It wasn't just at the end of the day when they needed a way to release all the stress from ruling Seven Kingdoms, it was when the two would find time in between their busy work schedule just to feel each other, to experience that thrill of riding a dragon and dominating an alpha wolf. They genuinely enjoyed each other's company, along with the sweet hot fucks.

Now, the result of their uncontrollable and mutual lust for each other is growing in her belly. Despite her initial fears of childbirth, Lyarra cannot wait for the day when they get to hold their baby.

For Daeron, there was an equal amount of fear and love for this pregnancy. He was afraid that this child would be subjected to a lifetime of scrutiny and judgement for having madness in their bloodstream. Yet love overwhelmed that fear because of the joy he'll experience by having the family he's always dreamed of.

Lyarra gasped as she stopped playing. The startled sound alarmed Daeron. "What is it?"

Lyarra released a breathy chuckled, "Our child kicked me."

"He did? Where?" Daeron asked as he run his hand across her belly to feel where the kicks were located. He stopped when he felt something nudge against his palm. An unexplainable feeling welled up inside him when such a movement repeated a couple more times. Pride and love gleamed in his violet eyes as he basked in this moment. "Our child is lively; I can't tell if they're more dragon or direwolf."

"Or maybe he doesn't want to share his mommy with anyone and is trying to challenge you." Lyarra joked as Daeron laughed, something his Queen can effortlessly succeed.

"That doesn't bother me." Daeron then spoke to their unborn child, "You're free to challenge me any day little one. Because I know you'll grow strong. Just know this, your mommy is loved by many, me included, and I don't like sharing either." Lyarra giggled at him. "I want you to remember this as well, your mommy and I love you very much. There are many people who want to meet you." Daeron sighed with a hint of sadness, "Our House is a bit small right now, but the family you have is much larger than you realize. Many of them will love you, not because of who you're born to, but because of who you are. Your mother and I are living proof of that." Daeron stated as he turned his violet gaze to grey shimmering eyes at the beautiful truthful words he spoke.

The King and Queen basked in the sunlight as they cuddled their unborn miracle.
