School Struggle with Some Beastly Results
Kai is seen sitting on the rooftop of a big mansion watching view of the city as he looks at his newly acquired item he got since coming to this city, his own IPhone to check the time seeing that it's ten seconds until the sunrise.
Then he notices the bright color light coming into view and the sun rising from the horizon bringing the daylight into the city, he smiles of how beautiful the sunrise just as all the others he has seen for the past five years while on the run.
"Up here again?" Barbi walked up to him while wearing a red sleeping robe.
"I always enjoy watching the sunrise no matter where I ended up, it helps calm my nerves from the all the running I had to go through." Kai explained.
"But now you won't ever have to run anymore, you have a home now. Well, two homes with here in the city to try living a normal life while also having Monster Island as another home." Barbi pointed out with a hand on his.
"It feels so strange and relief at the same time, really weird if you ask me." Kai said.
"You just need to give yourself a bit more time, it has only been a whole week since you just moved into Metropolis, since you moved in with me." Barbi smiled with her cheeks blushing a bit.
"This does feel nicer than living in that junkyard I was living in for a few weeks." Kai nodded.
"Not to mention you were smelling so bad." Barbi joked as she holds her nose.
"Was I really that bad?" Kai asked titling his head.
"Very bad but thank goodness you had yourself a nice bath back on that island." Barbi chuckled.
"Have you ever seen the sunrise before?" Kai asked curious as he looks back at the sun rising some more.
"Not really, normally most people don't get up this early in the morning just to watch the sunrise when they have other things to do." Barbi answered honestly.
"But looking at it now, I should think about coming up here more often too." Barbi looked at the sun rising and feeling warm from the sight.
"That would be nice." Kai smiled.
"Well, we should get ourselves ready for school." Barbi stands up and dusting herself a little clean.
"I'm not sure if I want to go back there anymore." Kai exclaimed.
"Hey now, you were the one who wanted to back here to spend more time with us and to know what is like to be a normal human for a long while, so this is what you're getting for that decision." Babri pointed out with a chuckle.
Kai let out a sigh as he wanted to refuse this and just stay home to perhaps continue with his own combat training or something, but he knew that Barbi is right that he did ask for this and will have to live with it.
"Fine, I'm coming." Kai got up and turn around to follow Barbi back inside the house.
(Metropolis High School)
There he was, Kai sitting at the desk of his class with every other student being there and feeling that his soul is fading of boredom and very confusing from that hard math lesson, he really is trying his best to pay attention to what the teacher is saying. But this subject is hard to understand along with few of the other classes he has such as science and the different types of the subject.
"Mister Kaiju, would you please look at this equation and see if you can figure out the total number?" The math teacher asked pointing at the equation on the board.
Kai looked at the math stuff on the chalkboard trying his best to guess the right number even though he has no idea on how to start with this.
"Uh… 9.9?" Kaiju guessed.
"No, I'm afraid that's the wrong number. Good try though." The math teacher said.
"Anyone else?" The math teacher asked until he saw Karen rising her hand.
"89.349." Karen revealed her own answer.
"That is correct. Well done as always, Karen." The math teacher smiled before turning his attention back to the board.
"How do you survive through this?" Kai asked the bee heroine.
"I just study like everyone else and do my best." Karen shrugged.
Kai didn't buy that as he thought she was probably born with all that talent of the smartness and becomes a little jealous, but he is also glad to see one of his human friends being good at this.
Suddenly the school bell rings causing Kai to jump in shock of the sound and clutches onto his desk that made little cracks on it, then quickly realize it just means its time to change class again as he let out a sigh of relief.
"I don't think I'll ever get use to that sound." Kai said.
"Don't worry, you still got me and the others to help you get through this every step of the way!" Karen assured.
"Thank you." Kai nodded.
"Now, you remember what your next class is gonna be?" Karen asked.
"Yes, I believe it's Japanese class and it's my favorite class of all time besides the gym." Kai nodded and ran to his Japanese class.
"Hey! Remember now to run in the hallway!" Karen called out, but he is already far gone.
"Oh boy, I just he doesn't bump into the janitor against like yesterday." Karen worried.
"Why not? It was so funny that I hit my head on the wall to stop himself." Doris mentioned with a chuckle as she walked past Karen.
"Oh, hey Doris, are we still up for the tutoring tomorrow?" Karen asked friendly.
This causes Doris to flinch and quickly grab Karen by the collar to press her against a locker and lock an angry stare at the bee girl.
"What did I tell you about talking to me all friendly? I have a rep as the toughest girl in school uphold." Doris reminded of her strong street cred.
"Sorry, but I couldn't help but not greet you friendly since you have been downing you bully for the past two weeks, and I think people may already see we're kind of becoming friends." Karen pointed out.
"Oh, so they think I gone soft!" Doris punched the locker next to them, leaving a fist printed dent.
"I don't think you'll have to worry about that." Karen assured nervously.
"Whatever." Doris rolled her eyes and put Karen down.
"And yeah, we're still on tomorrow. My mom is also making some toast with some honey for some reason." Doris informed before walking away.
"Oh, that sounds sweet." Karen commented.
(With Kai)
Kai has made his way toward his foreign language class though just remember to slower as he didn't want to cause an accident like yesterday with that janitor, but he is still excited for the Japanese class as he always found the country to be interesting with its cultures and the most awesomeness thing they have.
The amazement of Anime shows.
But he got so caught up in his mind that he didn't pay attention to the direction he is going and bump into someone just when they reach the door for the Japanese class.
"Oh, sorry about that!" Kai apologized.
"I didn't hurt you or break your back?" Kai asked worry.
"Fear not, my back is perfectly fine, and I also accept your apology for bumping into me." The girl said as she stands back up.
"Again, sorry. I just love going to this class so much, Japan is much more than I realize when I heard about it." Kai said.
"Ah yes, the country is known for still having its ancient traditions while also welcoming some new ones throughout the years, but it is still the land known as the Land of the Rising Sun." The girl stated with a proud smile.
"Coming to this class makes me feel like I'm back home." The girl mentioned.
"Home? Does that mean you're from Japan?" Kai asked.
"That's right, I moved here to learn more about the other countries and such in order help the people and my homeland." The girl answered.
"My name is Tatsu Yamashiro." Tatsu introduced herself.
Tatsu is a Japanese teenage girl with long black hair with grey stripes. She wears a grey vest jacket with red sleeves, with a dot on the upper right side, dark grey pants with a red stripe on the side and wears red and black shoes and doesn't seem to wear socks with them. Breasts sizes: J-cup.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kai Kaiju and I hope we can be friends." Kai greeted and extending his hand to her.
"Kai, I heard of that name before. Are you the same Kai who also injured the janitor's back by bumping into him?" Tatsu asked.
"It was an accident! I was in the bathroom and saw how late I was gonna be for gym, so I ran as fast as I could but didn't slow down for the janitor." Kai explained.
"I see, it's good to know that you do not hurt others intentionally." Tatsu smiled.
"Hey, do you think you can help me with this class? I'm having trouble with understanding the characters like how they look and mean." Kai asked for help.
"Of course, I would be honored to teach you the ways of the Japanese." Tatsu nodded.
"After all." Tatsu grabbed onto Kai's arm to gently pull him down to reach his ear.
"Any friends of Diana and the Superhero Girls are friends of mine as well." Tatsu whispered.
Hearing this shocked Kai with his eyes widen that he just discovered something new and amazing, or perhaps something to be worried about, that this girl he just met revealed she already knows about Diana and the others along with the fact that she knows about their superhero identities.
"How do" Kai was about to ask her a question, but Tatsu stopped him with a finger on his lips.
"Wait until after class, perhaps lunch time with the others." Tatsu winked before walking into the classroom.
Kai decided to take her suggestion and hold the question until lunchtime, but he would also have to suffer through the other two classes which are still hard for him to follow though were less than the other classes.
But all the same, making his brain feel like it's going to melt from getting too much knowledge and giving him a slight headache.
(Lunchtime)
"Finally, lunchtime!" Kai cheered as he just got out of the line for the cafeteria and getting his food which looks a little tall almost to his head.
"Glad I'm the one paying for our lunch." Barbi said.
"Hey, hey, you two! Over here!" Babs called out and waving her hands while being on Harleen's shoulder.
"Come on over already, Babs feels a bit heavy for some reason and I'm having a hard time thinking it's cute or not." Harleen joked.
"Hey, you." Babs chuckled.
Kai and Barbi went over to the table where the both the Superhero Girls and the Super villain girls are sitting together which is still a surprise to some people, but others like a boy name Garth is proud to see the girls expanding their circle of friendship more.
"Greetings, I take it Kai has been less complaining with his classes." Diana guessed.
"Still wish they were easier to understand." Kai muttered as he crosses his arms.
"Dude, the only easy thing you would learn is going to kindergarten." Kara joked, imaging Kai hanging out with a bunch of silly and whining kids.
"Bet he could give them a shocking experience." Leslie joked as well.
"Yet you would never bring yourself into harming little kids, do you?" Zee teased with a smirk.
"Are you ever going to let that go?" Leslie asked angry.
"But why? I thought you were amazing when you ended up saving those little kids from those truck driving bank robbers." Jessica recalled hearing about that.
"Shut up! I didn't save those kids, I was thinking about doing a little prank on them but that stupid trunk and the drivers were going to ruin it." Leslie proclaimed with her cheeks blushing.
"Oh really, this picture doesn't say you were pranking anybody." Kara smirked and showed the picture on her IPhone to the electric woman showing her standing in front of the little kids crossing the street and stopping the truck.
"Oh, they even got your good side." Carol commented.
"Wow, never thought the electric pranking master would go soft for a bunch of little kids." Selina mocked with a chuckle.
"That reminds me, I heard you return some jewelers to the jewel store the other night instead of taking them." Diana mentioned making Selina flinch.
"What was that you were saying, Miss Cat Thief?" Leslie smirked, feeling good to have payback.
"(Damn it, I was hoping none of them would know about that. But at least I kept a few small ones that will do.)" Selina thought secretly.
"Oh, have you guys heard about me and Harleen working together in stopping that crocodile villain who escape from Arkham prison in Gotham." Babs waved her hands excitingly.
"That guy got glitter in his mouth, tasted so awful and was funny for us to watch!" Harleen laughed from the memory.
"It's really amazing of how you girls have been behaving since we came back from Monster Island." Jessica said while looking proudly at Pam.
"Yeah, well… some of us were just doing something else at the time and couldn't find the time for those crimes." Pam proclaimed and got teased by Phill.
"Oh, shut up, you!" Pam glared at the plant.
Over the past two weeks, the Super villain girls have continue doing their own things such as some crime they feel like doing, but their crimes seem to be becoming less and less and a bit less for some of them. But that's all the same with the girls doing things a little differently and seem to be helping people instead, like Harleen happily being with Babs.
"Hmm, she said she'd be here." Kai said as he looks around while eating his chicken leg.
"Who are you looking for? A guy friend?" Harleen asked.
"Not quite, it's about this girl I met at my Japanese class, and she seems to know about your superhero identity personal when she whispered that secret in my ear." Kai explained.
"Seriously, you have someone outside of your hero group that knows your secret?" Doris asked.
"Ah! Is it Lois Lane, I always knew that girl would find you girls out eventually." Carol guessed.
"Well, she was close, but she didn't find us out in the end." Babs mentioned.
"There are some boys we know who are also superheroes, but we can't tell you that just yet." Karen said.
"We know, need to earn your trust and all that." Selina rolled her eyes.
"Greetings, friends." Tatsu arrived at the table.
"Tatsu, thank you for coming from my sudden text." Diana greeted.
"Well, when you told me about our special new student while I was visiting my family back in Japan, I wishes to meet him as soon as possible which he has done for me when he bumped into me." Tatsu said.
"Oh, did he break your back?" Harleen asked.
"The impact from him hurt a little, but my back is still intact." Tatsu assured.
"Hold on, if you know these girls are the Superhero Girls then does that you know about… us as well?" Selina asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I have and been informed of how you six bad girls have been doing, I am please to hear you are turning things around in your life." Tatsu smiled.
"Hey, we're just taking a little break from our bad side." Doris proclaimed, slamming her fist on the table.
"But wait, does that mean you're a super too?" Carol asked.
"You could say that, but you will know soon in perhaps the field of battle against evil." Tatsu grinned.
"Looks like you do learn more things in school than I thought." Kai surprised.
"Hai, anata no mawari no subete no mono kara manabu no wa kenmeidesu." Tatsu said in Japanese.
"Oh, you said it's good to learn things around you." Kai tried to correct the translation.
"Close, but what I said exactly is "Yes, it is wise to learn from all things around you."" Tatsu said.
"Sore wa totemo subarashīdesu!" Kai said, meaning "That is so awesome!".
"Excellent, you have already mastered the few words!" Tatsu impressed.
