Museum Fight Over an Important Flower
Godzilla, Catwoman, and Katana stood close to Poison Ivy who made contact with the rare and special lotus flower and now appears to be in some kind of trance as Godzilla waves his tail in front of her face trying to see if he could get her attention back, but no response.
"It's like she's frozen or put on pause." Godzilla commented.
"Must be this lotus, trying to show her something. A vision, maybe." Katana theorized.
"Well, whatever it is, let just hope it doesn't take too long because I was in the middle of watching a video." Catwoman said sarcastically.
"Was it about cats learning martial arts?" Katana asked, raising an eyebrow under her mask.
"I rather not say." Catwoman crossed her arms under her breasts.
"I hope you're doing okay, Poison Ivy. Please, don't do anything too hard." Godzilla concerned for the plant-powered woman and gently stroke her hair.
(Mindscape)
"Huh?" Poison Ivy gasped as she opens her eyes.
Poison Ivy stood up now finding herself in a black void with literally nothing around her, she expected the red-blue lotus flower to have some at least beautiful sceneries like a forest or being surrounded by lots of Cherry Blossoms trees like the ones in Japan and at Washington.
"Lotus flower, are you trying to show me something?" Poison Ivy asked, hoping she isn't dead.
But then an explosion sound was heard from behind making her turn around to see what appears to be a bright light erupting from within the darkness, shattering many things as they flew past and around her as she soon recognizes them to be stars and planets and such.
"Did I just witness the Big Bang?" Poison Ivy asked shock.
Then Poison Ivy felt a force grabbing hold of her body and pulling her through the astral mind of outer space, flying through galaxies and passing by stars in a matter of seconds until she reaches to the one planet, she definitely recognizes the most.
"Earth!" Poison Ivy gasped.
And in an instant, almost like when the scene changed to another on a TV show and such, she now finds herself on the ground of earth and with Cherry Blossoms surrounding her.
"Okay, maybe the lotus is trying to show me the time when it was just a normal flower." Poison Ivy guessed.
And then, a small ball of light with red and blue swirling onto each other appears in front of her that also causes her to gasp.
"Jesus! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Poison Ivy asked, and the red-blue light flickers a few times.
"No, this is actually my first mind being inside the mind of a plant which is pretty cool." Poison Ivy commented.
"So, I take it I was right about you being a normal plant at first?" Poison Ivy asked.
The red-blue light ball flickers "yes" for the plant girl and have her follow it to show her something and flickers some more explaining that they are in the past.
"We're on Monster Island? But why are there Cherry Blossoms here?" Poison Ivy asked, the light flickers answering her question.
"Gifts from the president and emperor of Japan, that's pretty nice of them." Poison Ivy smiled a bit.
But then the red-blue light ball flickers some more, telling her more about where they are exactly.
"Hold up, you're saying we're looking at the time of 1959! But if I remember this right, this is the year when the news declared the Monster Island was destroyed by a meteor which was the false report." Poison Ivy recalled in shock.
Suddenly the ground started shaking, almost making Poison Ivy trip during the run in following the ball of light, she looks around trying to see where all that shaking is coming from.
"What the…?" Poison Ivy wondered what is going on right now until she remembers something else.
"Wait, didn't Kitana said something about a great battle happening here?" Poison Ivy tried to remember that.
The answer immediately came to her when an explosion erupted close by and something huge fell very close to Poison Ivy that she covered herself from the dust with her arms. She looks over to see a giant face of a woman with long fangs and a three eye on her forehead, Poison Ivy can instantly tell this was a Kaiju.
"A Kaiju! But I don't recognize this one, must one of the Kaijus that were killed." Poison Ivy said.
The red-blue light ball tells her to keep going as there is no need to worry about interacting with the past since this is just memories.
"Huh, that's good to know." Poison Ivy commented as the light went through the Kaiju and she quickly follows.
(Back in Reality)
The others are still waiting for Poison Ivy to come back from whatever is going on with the lotus plant, but they haven't notice that they aren't alone in the museum.
Kabal is hiding behind a wall, carefully looking over to see that there are some hero kids here and one of them appears to be in some kind of trance.
"(So much for an easy job, I can tell those kids are strong, especially the big guy.)" Kabal thought noticed the big boy with the spiky back.
"(I think that is one of the kids Kano told me about when he tried to make a deal with Bane a week ago.)" Kabal thought remembered his boss mentioning that.
"Well, guess I could bring a head for Kano as a bonus to cheer him up." Kabal said, getting ready to jump in to attack.
Suddenly, both Godzilla and Katana felt their instincts going off warning them about danger coming to them and then the latter quickly took out her sword and jumps forward to block a fast slash attack that pushes her back.
"What the fuck?!" Catwoman gasped.
"Who's there?" Godzilla demanded.
"Oh, no one special…" Kabal said sarcastically, appearing behind Godzilla and looking closely at his tail.
Godzilla is shocked to see that someone is behind him without his monster instincts even noticing something was off, he quickly swings his tail to knock the masked man away only for him suddenly vanished in a silver blur.
"Shit! We got a Speedster wannabe!" Catwoman growled as she took out her whip.
"Ow, that really hurt right here." Kabal said mockingly as he taps on the chest where his heart is.
Catwoman quickly turns around to slash her claws at the mask man only for him to dodge it with ease by leaning backward then dodge a whip, then he zooms away and around Catwoman for a slash on her back and kicks her away.
"I thought cats were supposed to have fast flexes." Kabal said.
"Only when we're a foot ahead of you!" Catwoman smirked.
Kabal was confused about what this cat hero was talking about until she felt his feet pulled by something that caused him to fall on his back.
"The fuck?" Kabal groaned; he looks at his feet to see that one foot has been wrapped by the whip.
"Oh, I get it now." Kabal said before he notices a big shadow over his face and saw the boy's foot is about to stomp on him.
Kabal quickly roll out of the way to let the foot smash onto the ground and thought about giving this cat girl a little ride as he ran fast dragging Catwoman around, it was a little hard for Catwoman to hang on while avoid crashing into the other exhibit stuff and making sure everything is still in one piece.
"Catch, pussycat!" Kabal kicked a few parts of a samurai off.
Catwoman quickly catches them, but that was all an distraction for Kabal to grab onto the whip and pull it himself to make Catwoman fall forward, but he wouldn't let her touch the ground as he blitzes around striking her with his sword and send her flying though Godzilla was able to catch her.
"Are you okay?" Godzilla asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just a few scratches." Catwoman tried to play it tough, but groans in pain seeing the cuts on her body.
"I'm not sure if you kids are here for late-night homework and I don't have a shit, I came here to get that flower and that's exactly what I'm gonna do." Kabal pointed at the red-blue lotus flower.
"Let me guess, someone is paying you a lot of money to get that flower because of its worth?" Katana asked.
"You could say that, and a bit more, but I'm not wasting my time telling you." Kabal said.
"Then we'll make you talk!" Godzilla raised one foot and stomps the ground so hard, he causes an earthquake that shakes the whole museum.
Kabal is surprised to feel this hard shaking from just one kid as the shaking lasted for several seconds, and that several seconds is all Katana needs when she charges at the speedy thief who was barely able to block the attack and she makes a quicker swing to land an attack on the side.
"Shit!" Kabal angered.
"There's more where that came from, villain!" Katana said as she starts attacking again.
Kabal quickly blocks and parries some of Katana's attacks as she goes in with her grace and strong moves, they crash their blades as Kabal uses his speed to get the upper hand though Katana is able to keep up with him.
"Dang, do you have superspeed too?" Kabal asked surprise.
"No, I have the trained body that no other human could handle!" Katana said.
Katana jumps high and swings her sword to send a spiritual slash wave to attack Kabal and take his soul, but the masked man was able to counter it with his own slash attack that collided and cause a small explosion.
"He can even counter Soultaker?" Katana shocked.
"Soultaker, sounds like an interesting sword. I might think about taking it along with that flower." Kabal grinned under his mask.
"Not while we're still around!" Godzilla charged at Kabal to throw a punch in the face.
However, Kabal easily dodges that strike and blitzes past the large kid with a tripe spinning slash though Godzilla was able to withstand that attack and tries to hit him again only for Kabal to dodge and attacks him every time.
"Give it up, kid!" Kabal said while attacking his front side.
Godzilla tried to catch him by clapping his hands hard together to crush his shoulders, but Kabal moves out of the way again though the clap did cause a shockwave making Kabal stumble a bit.
"Got you!" Godzilla swung his tail to smack Kabal away.
"Alright, that was actually pretty good." Kabal commented.
"Thank you, now surrender!" Godzilla demanded.
"Not a chance" Kabal refused and look at the red hair girl and the flower.
Kabal was about to speed his way to the flower and make his way out of the museum only for a pair of Shurikens to hit the floor very close to his foot.
"You are not to move any closer to our friend and the lotus!" Katana glared, being the one to throw the Shurikens.
Kabal just let out a chuckle thinking these kids can really take him on, he decided to entertain them for a little while longer.
"Alright then…" Kabal smirked under his mask and charges at the three heroes.
(With Poison Ivy, in the Mindscape)
Poison Ivy is still following the red-blue light ball through the insane battlefield that she is now running through while looking around.
"Okay, now this is getting freaky!" Poison Ivy looked around.
"Hey, where are you taking me?" Poison Ivy asked.
The light ball flickers telling her to show her the answer to her question about what makes this lotus flower is special than the others.
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!"
"I know that scream! Gojira!" Poison Ivy recognized that roar.
They stop for her to look up to see the giant Queen of the Monsters herself with a death glare and threw down her fist at the ground causing several armored muscular men with some having four arms and the others with literal blades sticking out of their arms.
Ghidroah and Mothra came in flying in the air using their legs together to kick across the ground sending several hundreds of soldiers flying away.
"Keep going! We can still make this battle ours to win!" Kitana shouted, standing over a dead soldier.
"Is that Kitana? But wait, how does she still look so young after decades?" Poison Ivy asked shock.
But Kitana wasn't the only one who is within the flashback of this great battle where Jade and Mileena are also there, along with some other friend warriors like one with a literal bladed-hat and two that can perform fire and ice attacks respectively.
There is even a four-armed woman fighting against her own kind, then a marital artist man comes in with a flaming kick knocks down evil female warrior.
"Thank you, Liu Kang." The four-armed woman thanked the man.
"You are welcome, Sheeva. Now we must hurry and find that emperor, he should not be far behind from his army." Liu Kang said.
"Don't worry, that tyrant always love to show off his strength to "prove" his right to rule." Kitana assured.
"Not only that, but we'll be able to reclaim the Jinsei his men have stolen from the temple as well." The bladed-hat warrior said.
"Try not to let yourself get too caught up in the battle, Kung Lao." Liu Kang advised with a slight chuckle.
Then a thunderbolt can be seen shooting upward towards the sky alerting the others.
"That must be Lord Raiden fighting him right now. We just join him!" Liu Kang said before running.
The other soon follow with few of the Kaiju women went with them with Mothra carrying them on her back reaching the fight faster, Poison Ivy and the red-blue light ball aren't far behind as they too have reached the area.
"Damn, I feel like this is gonna get more intense the further we go into this story." Poison Ivy commented.
Poison Ivy see a fight between two people with one being a man in white and blue clothing with a straw hat and the other is somewhat of a man with dangerous eyes and a metal mask wielding his axe-hammer as the two battle each other.
"Give it up, Shao Kahn! This battle will not end in your favor!" The straw hat man said before shooting a lightning bolt attack from his feet.
The tyrant mask man blocks it with his axe-hammer and deflect it away.
"On the contrary, Raiden, things are going quite well for me and more so since I have this!" Shao smirked as he pulls out a glass container.
"That must be the stuff Godzilla and the boys got from that Kano guy." Poison Ivy looked closer at the container.
"The Jinsei belongs to Earthrealm, you shall not use it for evil!" Raiden glared.
"We'll see about that." Shao said before drinking the Jinsei and his body started to glow red insanely.
"Yes! I can feel my power growing! I am invicible!" Shao shouted of certain victory.
"That fool thinks he can do away with us that easily, then he is sadly mistaken." Gojira cracked her knuckles.
"He will rue the day he crossed us!" Ghirodah angered.
"Know this that it is your ego and arrogant that will be your downfall." Kitana glared.
"Not when I take you and your sisters back to my side!" Shao smirked.
The heroes charges at the empowered and mighty Shao with fighting off Liu Kang, Kitana, and Kung Lao at the same time then easily smacks them away with a swing of his arm and send a slash wave to cut off Kung Lao's arm making him scream in pain.
But Raiden Mileena appeared in front of him both using an uppercut move each sending Shao flying high into the air and Gojira threw one powerful punch that send him back crashing down, but the punch has also sent one big drop of blood from his mouth.
Suddenly the scene shows around Poison Ivy now standing in front of a temple though there are dead bodies around and blood everywhere.
"Why are we here? What about the battle?" Poison Ivy asked the ball of light, but then she looks up to see something coming this way and saw it's Shao's blood.
The blood splat onto a lotus flower, a moment later it started to glow brightly with one orb forming with a swirling pattern of red and blue together, that orb goes inside the lotus as it becomes the red-blue lotus flower she knows today.
"No way, that's how you were made!" Poison Ivy realized shock.

Godzilla and the girls are fighting off Kabal who has been trying to steal the lotus for this big boss while Poison Ivy got to look back in the past of the Great Battle, and even discovered how the red-blue lotus flower was born in the first place along with a little something else.
