Chapter Three.

Lloyd and Lelouch sat in the bedroom and talked for a while. Well, it was more like Lloyd talked and the raven listened. The bespectacled man went on and on about the male and his "Marvelous condition". He found out the lavender haired male was studying to be a doctor and was at least 4 years ahead of the average amount of time it took for someone to become a doctor. Lelouch found that amazing, that meant Lloyd was extremely smart. He couldn't imagine being that smart and knowing all the things Lloyd probably knew. It explained a lot of things though about him and why he was so interested in him. The odd man had been asking him very "doctorly" questions for more information about himself. Like;

when did he find out about himself or did he always know?

how it felt to be carrying a baby?

Was he making breast milk (Because at five months he should be)?

how much does feel the baby move?

Did he have two sets of gentiles?

That one was extremely embarrassing...

And though it was very embarrassing, Lelouch had answered him the best he could. He did learn a lot about himself and what he was thanks to the odd man. He learned that because he didn't have two sets of... privates, he must have only have the organs which was what helped him conceive and carry his baby. Though Lloyd said he couldn't be completely sure unless he cut him open.

Than Lloyd told the Lelouch that he should expect lactating soon, which would explain why his chest had been sore for the past few days. The raven had learned so much from the future doctor about himself and his baby, that he was really grateful to the man for helping him. Even though he had done it for his "research". The two sat there for a while until the bedroom door opened and a hoodie-clad Senji walked in with books in his hand. Lelouch and Lloyd looked towards the door. Senji was wearing a pullover light grey hoodie and dark blue jeans. He had a black backpack hanging off his shoulder. Senji looked towards Lelouch and smiled.

"Lelouch you're up!" He said happily, dropping his books and backpack on the floor (much to Lloyd's annoyance) and walked over to them. "How do you feel?" The brunette asked. Lelouch looked up at the tall male and gave him a shy smile.

"I feel fine," He said in his ever soft tone. "Thank you for taking care of me last night, I'm very grateful." The raven gave the brunette the best bow he could, giving he was still in bed. A light blush dusted Senji's cheeks.

"I-it was no big deal." He stuttered out. Lelouch gave the brunette a worried look when noticed his flushed face.

"Are you alright Senji-San?" He asked with genuine concern. "Your face is all red."

"Y-yeah I'm fine," He said trying to calm his blush. "I-I'm just a little warm." He said still tying to calm himself. He always became a stuttering mess in front the violet-eyed beauty. He needed to get better control over himself, before Lelouch thought was a complete weirdo.

Lloyd looked between the two males and smirked. How cute, his little idiot had a crush on the pregnant male. This was indeed very interesting, what could possibly attract him to the younger male. The male was married and clearly by the size on that wedding ring on a completely different social level then the both of them. The two couldn't be farther apart from each other. This needed father study.

"Oh... Alright then." Lelouch said softly. "Senji seem to always be sick, he should really rest..." Just then a loud growl sounded through the silent room. Lloyd and Senji towards Lelouch who had a dark blush on his cheeks. A light chuckle came from the brunette.

"I take it you haven't eaten yet?" He questioned. The raven nodded shyly. It was true he hadn't eaten yet, but only because he and Lloyd had been talking since he had woken up. "We should get you something to eat then."

"Agreed," Lloyd said breaking his silence. "You should eat regularly in your condition." Senji looked at the bespectacled male curiously.

"Condition? what condition? What do you mean?" Lloyd looked to him.

"I mean that he's-" And when he glanced at Lelouch, he saw a pleading look on his face. Like he was begging him with his eyes not to say anything to the brunette about his pregnancy. Sighing, Lloyd gave the raven a slight nod and finished with. "Still ill, he needs to eat to keep his strength up." Lelouch had the look of gratitude and relief come to his face. He really didn't want Senji to know bout him yet. Even though Lloyd had taken it really well, (Almost too well) he still didn't know how the brunette would take it. Senji was sweet and caring, but he didn't know if he would like him if he found he was what he was.

And for some reason, he couldn't bare the idea of Senji not liking him anymore.

"Lelouch?" The small male snapped out of his musing when he heard his name.

"W-what?" He asked looking to the two men that had themselves trained on him. Oh-no he had zoned out hadn't he? His husband hated when he did that, he had thought he had gotten it under contorl.

"I had asked if you wanted some breakfast, I mean it's already past twelve but-"

"All we have is breakfast food," Lloyd cut in. "So he's basically asking if you just want to eat." The bespectacled male then looked towards his roommate and simply said,

"Stop trying to sugarcoat things." Senji gave Lloyd a pout as a dark blush came across his cheeks.

"I-I wasn't trying to sugarcoat anything!" He yelled. "And he didn't need to know we can't afford real food pudding man!" A light chuckle came from Lloyd as he began to stand up and he readjusted is glasses on his nose. His roommate was so easily embarrassed about the most little of things. But he seemed to even more embarrassed than usual. Maybe because he was in front of his little crush.

"Oh this was going to be enjoyable." Lloyd thought.

"Oh great come back," Lloyd said mockingly with a smirk as he began to walked the brunette towards the door. Senji open his mouth to say something, but the lavender-haired male cut him off. "And I never told him we couldn't afford real food, you did." With that he smoothly slipped out of the door leaving with steam practically coming out of his ears. Lloyd was always embarrassing him and he was use to it when it was just them, but he did it in front of Lelouch. The raven must have of thought he was a complete-

Just then he heard muffled giggles.

Senji turned around to see Lelouch with his over his mouth, the corners on his the were visible turned up like he was smiling. Small giggles escaping through his fingers.

"I'm s-sorry." The raven said trying to control his giggles enough to speak. "I-its just hahaha you two are haha so funny." Lelouch couldn't control himself anymore, the giggles he tried to contain spilled out. Senji blushed deeply as the younger giggled his head off. The raven couldn't help it the two were just really funny when they went back and forth like that. He could tell they were really good friends.

"Y-yeah sorry about him," The brunette said letting out a chuckle of his own as he scratched the back of his neck. "He's always doing that, but he's a good guy for the most part." When Lelouch's giggles calmed down he looked at Senji and gave him an amused smile that made the brunette blush slightly.

"I can tell," He said in a soft tone. "He's seem's like a really nice person."

"Yeah, had he been treating you ok when I was gone?" Senji asked. He knew Lloyd could get a little out of hand when it came to medical things. He remembered one time he had cut his finger and Lloyd wanted to poke and prod him like he had cut the whole finger off. He understood it was his passion, but sometimes he could be a little... Creepy.

"Yes he was perfectly fine, he took very good care of me." He said with a smile. Senji blushed and looked away. Lelouch's smiles were beautiful, even the smallest of ones.

"T-that's good," The brunette said trying to calm his blush. "I know he can be a bit of a handful."

"Yes I could tell," The raven said remembering Senji and Lloyd's bickering a few moments before, which made him giggle a little. "But he was a gentleman while you were gone."

"That's good to hear," Senji said. "I was worried that I might come back to Lloyd trying to dissect you." The brunette chuckled. Just before Lelouch could say anything to continue the conversation. A loud grumbling noise cut him off.

The brunette looked to Lelouch with a surprised look and the raven blushed. He stomach was growling from hunger again. Senji chuckled once more at the noise.

"We better get you something to eat now huh?" The tall male said and Lelouch nodded. He really was hungry and the only time he had eaten was yesterday at the diner. Seeing him nod, Senji walked over to the pregnant male and held out his head to help him up.

Lelouch looked at the hand curiously and then up at the brunette.

"Y-you don't have to help me up..." The raven said. "I can do it." He added quietly. Senji nodded backed up a little to give the male his space. The brunette watched as Lelouch throw the covers out his lower half and swing his legs over the edge of the bed. Slowly the raven stood up and took one step forward when his legs gave out from under him. Lelouch closed his eyes and braced himself for the impact of the hard floor, but it never came.

Instead of the floor, the male came into contact with a soft but firm surface.

"Are you ok Lelouch?" He heard Senji ask. The raven slowly pulled his face from the surface and looked up only to be met by Senji's worried face. The raven felt his cheeks heat up quickly. His face was so close to his and made Lelouch feel... Odd. He didn't understand to sudden feeling of nervousness that was going through his body or the feeling of his heart stopping for just one second and starting up again. He had never felt like that before and it worried him.

"Lelouch?" He heard the brunette called again making him snap out of his musing. He focused back on Senji and felt his face get even warmer when he realized he had not answered the brunette's call.

"I-I'm fine.." He stuttered out quietly as he looked down. "I'm sorry for running into you..."

"Y-you don't have to a-apologize," Senji told the smaller male a dark blush appearing on his own cheeks. "You probably haven't used your legs a long time, they must be numb." Lelouch realized the brunette was right. He hadn't moved his legs in at least eighteen hours if he was counting correctly. Even now when he tried to move them, they wouldn't really listen to him.

"O-oh..." Lelouch breathed out. The two were still very close, their bodies pressed together. "S-so what do we do?" The raven whispered looking up at the taller male.

"U-um... Not sure," Senji admitted. "We'll just have to wait until the blood rushes back into your legs"

"Oh..." Lelouch said looking down to his legs. "And how long will that be?"

"I don't know, a few minutes maybe?" The brunette told him. The raven simply nodded and waited for the feeling to come back into his legs. It was strange really, being in Senji's arms like he was. You would think he would be rather uncomfortable, but he wasn't. He couldn't find himself minding being in the brunette arms. He didn't know what this could mean. Maybe he was happy, but why? His thinking was soon interrupted by a amused voice.

"My, my," The teasing voice said. "am I interrupting something?" Lelouch and Senji's head whipped to the door to see Lloyd leaning against the door frame.

"W-what?" The brunette stuttered out. Senji looked at Lloyd then at him and Lelouch's situation. His eye's widen understanding what Lloyd was insinuating. "Oh, n-no, no it's not like that!"

"Sure~ it isn't."The bespectacled man said teasingly. "Then why are you two in such a loving embrace?" Senji glared at his roommate as Lelouch watched them confused. He was clearly missing something, but he wasn't sure what. What was Lloyd talking about? Loving embrace? What did that mean? Senji had simply caught him, so he didn't hit the floor.

"I-it isn't like that!" The brunette said annoyed. "Lelouch was about to fall- I-I was just helping him." Lloyd rolled his eye's, his normal teasing smile still in place.

"Whatever you say." The lavender-haired male said in a disbelieving tone.

"I-I mean it!" The brunette said annoyed by Lloyd's teasing. Lelouch looked between the two still confused by Lloyd's strange teasing and Senji's annoyed tone. But he still stayed quiet, thinking he would understand soon.

Hopefully.

"Anywho," Lloyd said, ignoring the male's flustered tone. "I simply came in here to see what was taking you two so long, but I can see why now." The odd man said eyeing the two males who were still in their embrace. Senji looked down at Lelouch again and then quickly let the smaller male go, much to Lelouch's worry. The way the other male had let him go, it made him think he had done something wrong. But sadly, it was only because Lloyd had made the brunette feel embarrassed.

Senji glared at his roommate.

"Why do you always have to do this to me?" The brunette asked, but he was sure he already knew the answer.

"Because it's fun." Lloyd answered simply. "Now hurry up, I'm hungry." With that Lloyd walked back out of the room. When Lloyd left Senji let a tired sigh and looked to Lelouch who was standing next to him.

"Sorry he keeps doing that." He itching his neck in an embarrassed manner. Lelouch looked up at him and smiled softly at the taller male, making him blush.

"It's alright." The raven said in his ever present soft tone.

"So how are your legs?" Senji asked feeling rather awkward after what his teasing roommate had just done.

"Their better, thank you." Lelouch answered. The brunette nodded.

"Well, lets go get you something for eat ok?" After that Senji quickly left the room. Lelouch opened his mouth to say something, but the other had already gone. The raven sighed somewhat sadly. He was still really confused about what Lloyd was talking about when he came back in and he was hoping that Senji could explain it to him. But it seemed that it wasn't going to happen. He sighed again.

"I guess it doesn't matter..." The raven thought to himself. If he wasn't meant to understand it then he wasn't met to understand it. He knew better to pry into things. He learned that from his husband.

Speaking of his husband...

Lelouch began to wonder if his husband was still mad at him. It was the next day and he was sure, well hoping really, that his husband had forgave him. He really hated when he made Suzaku angry, it was truly one of the last things in the world that he wanted to do. He loved his husband and it wasn't anything he wouldn't do for him. He just hoped that Suzaku knew that. All he wanted to be was a better housewife for his husband and could be proud of him. He sighed again.

He hadn't met for any of this to happen and he just hoped that Suzaku knew that and he wasn't mad anymore.

"Lelouch?" The raven was brought from his thoughts when he heard his name called. He looked to see that it was Senji in the doorway, looking at him with a worried look. "Are you ok?" The raven quickly put on a small smile as to not worry the other.

"Yes I'm alright," He told the brunette. "I was just lost thought don't worry."

"You sure?" He asked. Lelouch nodded and gave the other a reassuring smile.

"Yes I'm sure," Walking towards the door. "sorry to worry you." He said as he walked passed him into the living area. Senji watched as the other walked passed, the worry on his face still present.

Small.

That was the one word that described the rest dorm. It was hard to believe that two people lived here, but somehow the two men made it work. Like at this moment, all of them are sitting in this small beige and brown kitchen. There were at least four cabinets above and below, a small sink and a mini fridge with some colorful magnets here. And there with the only thing separating it from the living area was where the tile ended and the carpet began. they were sitting, it was small dark brown wooden round table. It was so small that Lelouch wasn't sure that there would be able to hold all their plate's.

"Ok Lelouch, a plate of a bacon, eggs, and toast for you." Senji said as he sat a plate of food in front of the young male. "And the same for you." He said as he sat a another plate in front of Lloyd.

"Thank you." Lelouch said looking up at Senji and giving him a soft smile.

"Yes thank you Jenkins." Lloyd said in a teasing matter making Senji roll his eyes.

"I still don't understand why you couldn't make your food." The brunette said as he sat brown at the small brown table. The bespectacled man put his head in his hand looking in his roommate direction and gave him a teasing a smile.

"Now why would do that when I have you?" He said as he put a piece bacon to his mouth and took a bite. Senji sighed looked to Lelouch who already almost done with his food.

"Wow you must have really been hungry." The brunette commented. Lelouch paused his eating and blushed embarrassingly.

"S-sorry..." He said taking the fork from his mouth. Senji gave a kind smile to the blushing raven.

"It's ok, you haven't eaten in a while so I can't blame you." Lelouch nodded and went back to eating, but a little slower this time. Senji smiled and watched Lelouch eat his meal. Lloyd watched the way Senji looked at the other and rolled his eyes. The brunette's feelings for the raven where so obvious it was like he had it written across his forehead, but he could tell it wasn't all that obvious to Lelouch. Which made him think that the guy had to be pretty oblivious.

"Well I'm done." Lloyd said as he began to stand. Senji and Lelouch looked at him as he stood. "I'll be our room studying if you need me."

"Oh... Alright." The brunette as his roommate walked out of the kitchen area and towards their shared room. When he heard the door close in knew Lloyd was in their and looked to Lelouch who had gone back to eating the rest of his food at a slow pace. It was silent for a moment, Senji not knowing what to say to the other male at the table and Lelouch lost in his thoughts.

"I umm... Glad to see you're doing better Lelouch." The brunette said after a few moments of silence. The raven looked up from his food and tilted his head to the said some. He heard the other speak, but he didn't really hear what he had said. Blushing slightly, Lelouch realized he hadn't really been paying attention. His mind went somewhere else.

"I-I'm sorry, want did you say?" The pregnant male asked the other.

"I said I was happy to see you doing better." Senji repeated. Lelouch "ah'd" and nodded with a small smile.

"Yes, thanks to you and Asplund-San I feel much better than before." The raven said softly. "Thank you so much, I wish it was something I could do to repay you both." Senji smiled and shook his head.

"You don't have to do anything, you being healthy is enough for me." The brunette told him. "We don't want your family being mad at us." Senji laughed.

"ah... yeah..." Lelouch looked down slightly dejected. He didn't have any family, other then Suzaku and he wasn't sure that his husband would care all too much if he was well or not. He would hope so, but he wasn't sure.

"Lelouch are you alright?" The raven looked back up to the other.

"Yes, I'm fine." He told Senji. "Why do you ask?"

"It's just that you looked... sad." Senji said. "Did I say something?" Lelouch eye's widen slightly. He really wasn't good at hiding his emotions.

"No, it wasn't you." Lelouch assured him. "Something just came to mind that's all, don't worry."

"You sure?" The brunette asked. Lelouch gave a small smile to reassure him.

"Yes I'm sure."

"Ok..." Senji said. He wasn't sure if he believed Lelouch or not, but he was going to let if go. He didn't want to pressure Lelouch. It was probably something the other male didn't want to talk about yet. So he decided to take the conversation in a different direction. "Hey, Lelouch?"

"Hm?"

"Should you... you know, call someone and tell them you're here." The brunette said, "So they don't worry?"

"Ah." Lelouch gripped the edge of his sweater tightly out of nervousness. "Y-yeah... I-I s-should, shouldn't I?" "And was hoping to avoid this..." The raven thought to himself sadly. He didn't want to confront this just yet, but it looked like he didn't have much of a choice now. "I'll d-do it n-now." Quickly Lelouch stood up and asked where his coat was seeing as that was where his cell phone was.

"It's over there." Senji told him pointing into the living area. Lelouch turned and saw that his coat was draped on a loveseat. Nodding, the raven walked out of the small kitchen space and into the living room. Fishing into his coat, Lelouch pulled out his cell phone and flicked it open. He stare at the screen, not sure if he should really call his husband or pretend to. If he pretended to, he wouldn't have to face his husband or his possibly furry just yet, but if he did call him he could see if his husband wasn't mad anymore and come home. He would happy if his husband would let him come home and they could try again.

"Are you ok?" Lelouch snapped out of his musing to see Senji was standing next to him.

"Yes I'm fine." The raven told him, but he didn't sound very convincing so he tried to change the subject before Senji could question him about it."Is there anywhere I could go to be on the phone?" The brunette slowly nodded and pointed down the hall.

"The bathroom is a place, just go straight ahead and its the door to the left." Lelouch thanked the other man and walked down the hall leaving a worried Senji behind.

Lelouch walked into the bathroom and shut the door, before leaning against it. He was still unsure on what to do. He wanted to call his husband, but he wasn't sure if Suzaku would be in a good mood or not. He usually knew how to handle his husband outburst, but this was something new entirely. Suzaku had never once kicked Lelouch out before.

"He must have been fed up with me this time..." The pregnant male thought sadly. If he had just come home on time none of this would have happened. Lelouch realized what he had to do.

He had to call.

He just had to apologize to Suzaku for being so disobedient.

Lelouch pressed the home button of his phone and went threw his contacts. He scrolled through the few contacts he had, before coming across the one he was looking for. The raven took a deep breath before hitting "call". He put the phone to his ear as it began to ring.

Rrrrrinnnnggggg...

"I can do this..." He thought hopeful.

Rrrrrinnnnggggg...

"He may be in a good mood."

Rrrrrinnnnggggg...

"He may even say sorry for yesterday..."

Rrrrrinnnnggggg...

"He could even-"

"Hello?" Lelouch froze when he heard the all too familiar voice on the line. His mind had gone blank and he didn't know what to say. "Hello?" The other sounded like he was getting annoyed. When Lelouch still had not said anything, Suzaku let out an irritated sigh into the phone.

"Goodbye." Lelouch's eyes widen when he heard was about to hang up and he snapped out of his trance

"No don't!" The raven side quickly before his husband could hang up. Realizing he had raised his voice, be calmed himself. "Please...?" He said quieter, practically begging his husband.

The line was quiet for moment and Lelouch was starting to think that Suzaku had hung up. Then he heard a sigh.

"This better be good." A small smile came to Lelouch's face. His husband was giving a chance, that was a good sign.

"I know I made a mistake last night and I want to say how sorry I am for being so disobedient..." The pregnant male said sincerely. "I love you... so much and if I could come home, I promise I'll be the best wife I could possibly be to you. So please..." Tears began to come to Lelouch's eyes and his voice began to crack. "C-can I come home...? please?" Tears began to roll down the ravens cheeks as he had begun to speak. He just wanted his husband to forgive him for being so stupid. He wanted to try again and for things to be normal again.

He heard his husband sigh.

"I-" Just then there was a knock on the bathroom door.

"Lelouch? Is everything ok?" It was Senji. Lelouch took the phone from his ear and answered.

"Y-yes," The young male responded. "Everything's fine."

"Who the Hell is that?" He heard Suzaku say with anger in his voice. Lelouch put the phone back to his ear.

"N-No one." He said nervously.

"Don't lie to me you whore!" Lelouch flinched at the harsh tone.

"I-its no one husband, really." The raven said in a hush tone, Senji didn't hear. "Please calm down."

"Don't tell me what to do you slut." Suzaku said. His voice full of anger. "And to think I was actually thinking about letting you come home, that you could be trained."

"I can be! I can, Please just-"

"Filthy whore" His husband harshly. "You were with him last night too weren't you!?"

"No I wasn't I swear I-!" Lelouch had two hand on the phone holding it to his ear at this point.

"If that's what you want to do you useless waste of space then fine."

"No Suzaku wait-"

"Don't call me again." The other male said.

"Suzaku-"

Click.

Lelouch's widen when he heard that familiar noise. "Suzaku? Husband?" he called, but there was no answer. "No..." Muttered distraught. His arms went limp, falling down to his side's. "This can't be real..." Lelouch couldn't believe that this was happening. What had he done wrong? All he wanted to come home. How did things get like this? Just then there was another knock at the door.

"Lelouch are you ok?" It was Senji again and he sounded worried.

"No..."

"Y-yes I'm... fine..." He lied.

"You sure I thought I heard you yelling for a second ago." Had he been yelling? He didn't remember. That's probably another reason why he didn't deserved to come home. He had yelled at his husband.

"I'm sure everything is just f-fine..." He lied again.

"Oh... ok." Senji said. He sounded unsure, but he said nothing. "Well, did you talk to someone?" The brunette asked.

"Y-yes... E-everything is taken care of..." Lelouch said voice was starting the waver.

"Lelouch?"

"Can I just have a moment please?" The raven asked, his voice so low Senji almost didn't hear him.

"Umm, yeah sure." Senji said. "I'll be in the living room if you need me, ok?"

"Yeah..." Lelouch could hear Senji walking away and he slid to the floor. He brought knees up and as close as they could without pushing on his stomach. He put his head down on them and he cried. He knew he should do this in Senji and Lloyd's home, but he couldn't stop himself. Everything was just falling a part and he didn't fully understand why. "Yes I do..." He thought. "Its because I can't do anything right." No matter hard hard he tried, Things always ended badly for him not only with his husband, but life in general. It had always been that why and it always would.

Lelouch felt slight movements in his lower abdomen.

The raven smiled sadly and put his hands on his stomach.

"I messed up again baby..." He said dejected. "Mommy got daddy really mad at him this time." More tears began to fall. "And I don't know if I can fix it." Lelouch felt so ashamed of himself. His baby didn't deserved to go through this with him. It didn't deserved sure a useless person for a mother. How could he possibly be a good mom, if he couldn't even be a good wife?

He was a failure.
