Previously on Sister Sister..."Holy Shit, there's two of them!" A man with a beard said, sitting at the counter. "Sheriff Swan if you are quite through harassing the residents of Storybrooke that would be quite apprec-" The brunette in the suit stopped abruptly, turning towards the woman in green. "Trina?"
"Trina?" The brunette in a navy blue suit asked again.
"Ree?" Trina asked, standing up from the booth to look at the woman. Regina Mills. Her sister. Her older sister, well only by a couple of minutes.
They were identical twins. Everything about them physically except their hair, was exactly the same down to scar on their top lips.
The older twin walked towards her sister. Her arms wrapped around the younger woman.
Everyone in the establishment watched shocked by the display of affection from the woman they thought a monster.
During this, the sheriff had taken a closer look at the younger twin. She was wearing a green dress with matching heels. Her jewelry consisted of a diamond engagement ring and gold wedding band. Then of course there was the matter of the child, who obviously did belong to this mystery woman.
Looking at all this the blonde sheriff wonders how she could have mistaken her for the Mayor. She had never seen the woman wear anything that wasn't grey or black, and she had hardly ever seen the woman outside of a type of suit. Come to mention it she didn't think the woman owned anything else.
The twins separated from each other and sat in the booth. "It's been a long time."
"What are you doing here?"
"I'd prefer to talk about it some where I'm not being watched like a hawk. God Ree, what did you do now?" Trina teased. To her amusement, she managed to get a smile out of her more serious lookalike.
"Ok, we'll go to my place." Regina suggested. Trina nodded and picked up her little girl. The twins walked out of the diner together with all eyes on them.
Once outside Trina had led her sister to her car. Regina had told her she had decided to walk to the diner instead of driving, though she knows there is more to the story of why she decides to let it go.
They both get in the car and Trina buckles her baby into her car seat. "Is that my little Vivi bean?" Regina asked the little girl who only clapped her hands in response.
Trina laughed as she started driving. "I have no idea how you came up with that. Isn't Vivi short for Vivienne? Her name is Venus You know."
"I know, but Venus is such a hard name to live up to. You of all people should know that Trina." Regina said.
"Oh, of course Regina, though it doesn't hurt to have a name that's pretty and meaningful in some way." Trina said.
"I know." Was all Regina said and Trina knew that's where they stopped that conversation.
"So, not that I'm not happy to see you and the little bean but last I checked and when you called last you said things were fine in Chi-town."
"I'm not fine Ree. I thought I could handle it, but since Tom's...I just couldn't be there another moment."
"Well I'll be happy to have you with me as long as you're here. Though I'll never admit it to anyone other than you, things have been a little lonely since the curse broke."
"What do you mean? I thought you had yourself your own little bean. Henry, after dad, that was him in the diner wasn't it?"
"Yes, that was him, though since the curse broke he has spent all his time with...The sheriff, his biological mother. He's been secretly sneaking his belongings to her house after school, he thinks I don't know."
"Oh Ree...I'm so sorry." Trina really was, she couldn't imagine losing her daughter to someone else.
"I know." Regina said, "We're here."
Trina stopped the car in front of the mayoral mansion. "It looks exactly as I remember it to look."
"Not much changes in cursed town for 28 years, Ria." Regina said, using the nicknamed she had given her twin when they were kids.
Trina nodded.
They got out of the car taking little Venus with them inside the mansion. Trina noticed a few stares from people walking by on the other side of the street.
They walked up the pathway to the large white door with numbers 108. Regina unlocked the door and led them inside. Closing the door and locking it behind her, Regina led her sister to her living room.
Trina set down her daughter on the floor. The little girl looked around the large room and clapped her hands and laughed.
"Well, I'm glad bean likes it here. Hopefully that means she won't be compelled to destroy it."
"As much as you hope that to be true, we both when she figures her way around she will be doing her personal best to make a mess." Trina teased and Region laughed.
"Well then I guess I'll just have to get used to it being a mess again. Or just be constantly cleaning."
"So, care to explain why you're really here?"
"I couldn't stay in Chicago. I tried when Tom died and for two years I was fine but I just couldn't handle the pitying looks anymore. It just got to be too much. So I figured a fresh start would be best." Trina said, "You're not mad I didn't tell you I was coming, are you?"
"I'm mad that I didn't get enough time to prep a room for you ahead of time but I think I can get it together for you now." Regina said.
Trina picked up her daughter and they all went upstairs. They walked down the hall and Regina opened a door and led them inside. The room normally consisted of a large bed, a large dresser, and a nightstand.
With a quick flick of her wrist the room changed. There was now a pink car bed across from the large king bed. A brown toy box next to a large dresser. The suitcases that were inside the trunk of the car now on the bed and open.
Trina turned to her sister and smiled, "So I see magic is back."
"Yup, and I assume you've had a long drive so I'll leave you to put your things away and rest. I'll be downstairs." Regina said before leaving the room.
"Well Ve, it seems we came at just the right time for auntie Ree." Trina said putting little girl on the floor. The child ran to the toy box and pulled out a small blue car.
"Oh boy. Looks like you've found something to entertain you while mommy puts all our things away." Trina turned to the bed and started unpacking.
