Chapter 4: Bitter Blood. (1/4)

1976:

"It's like... Someone put a curse on me or something..."

Alistair Peverell was exceptionally annoyed at the moment. The reason why? The poor young man has failed to announce his relationship to his friends once again. It has been almost two months since Lily Evans became his girlfriend. It has been two very wonderful months except for one important detail.

"You should ask someone to tell them for you, or something." Pandora suggested to him as she caressed his head gently.

"What if someone indeed cursed him, these random interruptions cannot be mere coincidences." Xenophilius pointed out.

Alistair Peverell was currently laying on top of Pandora's bed inside of the Ravenclaw's common room with both Pandora and Xenophilius laying on each side besides him. The Common Room was empty due to the Quidditch Match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw occurring at the moment.

"I'm starting to believe the curse thing, so your conspiracy theory may be correct." Alistair replied to Xenophilius, who was laying on his back on the left side of the bed with his arm extended so Alistair could use it as a pillow. "And, I don't want to put this burden on someone else's shoulders." He then replied to Pandora, who was on the right side of the bed, laying on her side and hugging Alistair tightly with her head on his chest.

The three of them were on their undergarments, appreciating the sound of the rain that was going on outside. Lily decided to go see the game with her friends, so he decided to take the opportunity to spend time with his other friends.

"I just feel bad, Lily has been so patient with that... But it's obvious that she hates keeping our relationship secret. " The boy wearing red trunks said to his friends.

Of course, Alistair confided to his Ravenclaw friends about his relationship and Lily told Mary and Alice since they already knew about her feelings for him.

"If you ask me, you should just tell your cousin and get this over with." The boy wearing blue briefs told his friend. "Whatever is going to happen will definitely be bad, but the longer you take the worse it is going to get." Xeno gave him good advice. "I mean, this curse could have some collateral effect that is going to harm you otherwise." Before he went back to the conspiracy theories.

"I agree with Xeno," The girl wearing a white bra and white knickers spoke. "You should just get this over with so your cousin can start dealing with it, because the longer you take, the worse it is going to get." Pandora told him in a soft and sweet voice.

"I know..." The blond boy replied.

Xeno then reached for the drawer that was next to the bed and picked up a chocolate frog. Alistair opened his mouth and Xeno fed him. "Are the Slytherins giving you trouble?"

"Not really," Alistair replied after he swallowed his chocolate. "But that is mostly because everyone in Gryffindor has been guarding me under James and Lily's request." Honestly, in a sense, Alistair was a little paranoid because it feels like every single Slytherin that he comes across seems to have bad intentions towards him.

"You need to be careful, they could be scheming to get back at you for what happened." Xeno warned him in the same tone that he usually presents his conspiracy theories, but that was already something that he expected.

"I am certain of that and I am being careful, my friend." Alistair replied as he caressed Pandora's head.

A loud thunder could be heard by the trio outside, but none of them reacted to it. Why would anyone want to play or watch someone play in this type of weather? The blond boy genuinely wondered. I wonder who is winning. Despite his lack of interest in Quidditch, he was hoping that his House Team was doing well since his cousin and close friend are on the team. I should pay a visit to Remus, this transformation was especially bad on him. Remus's little fur problem had occurred two days before and he was still recovering at the hospital wing. I should also buy a gift for Lily since tomorrow it will be exactly two months since we started dating. Alistair thought, since giving random gifts and making some kind of surprise was kind of a habit that his father had with his mother and he was always kind of determined to do the same thing when he got into a relationship.

"Hey," Pandora moved his head up to look at Alistair's eyes. "Are you happy?" She asked him.

"Partially." He answered right away. "But, I would be happier if this mess with my cousin was resolved." That was the only problem that he had at the moment, because in actuality, he hates keeping his relationship secret just as much as Lily does. "I want my relationship with Lily to be similar to yours and Xeno." He was always a little envious of their relationship, and wished to have something like that for himself. And strangely, he genuinely feels like he can have something like that with Lily if he just solves this mess with James.

"You and Lily are wonderful together and I'm certain that you two are only going to get closer as your relationship progresses." She told him that as she gave him a kiss on the cheek before she moved towards Xeno to give him a very tender looking kiss on the lips. Alistair just smiled as he watched his Ravenclaw friends snog in front of him. After a whole minute, the two separated and Pandora got on top of him. Allowing Alistair to take a good look at her thin and delicate figure. "Open up..." She had a chocolate frog on her hand that she must have grabbed during her snogging session with her boyfriend.

Alistair complied and opened his mouth to be fed by the eccentric girl. With the sweet taste of chocolate inside his mouth, the blond boy heard a noise coming from the door. The noise of steps and voices, indicating that the Ravenclaws are returning to their common room. "I guess the game is over..."

"Ah.." Both Xenophilius and Pandora grunted in disappointment.

The Gryffindor gently pushed the Ravenclaw off of him, and she immediately went to get on top of her boyfriend. He stood up from the bed lazily in order to put his clothes back on.

"Thanks, for listening to my problems and snuggling with me." Alistair thanked the two as he put on his trousers.

"Any time, Al." Pandora gave him a lovely smile after saying that.

"You sure you don't want us to accompany you back to your common room?" Xenophilius asked his friend as he put his shoes on.

"No need, but thanks for the offer." Alistair replied as he tied his shoes.

"You should invite Lily next time." Pandora suggested.

"Ummm..." Alistair blushed at the prospect of seeing Lily on her undergarments. "I... Don't think it will be appropriate for me to ask..." He highly doubts that she would accept it anyway. "Anyway," Putting his shirt on as he spoke. "See you two tomorrow." That was the last thing that he said as he buttoned his shirt but he left untouched since he would probably change clothes once he got back to the common room.

"Bye, Al." Pandora waved at him as he walked away.

"Watch out for the Slytherins." Xeno warned him as he waved at him as well.

"No need to tell me twice." That was the last thing that Alistair Peverell said to the two as he left the bedroom.

It only took him a dozen steps for him to arrive at the main room , where several Ravenclaws were celebrating. I guess they won the game.

That was the impression that he got from their cheering. Taking the opportunity however, Alistair sneaked out as they were all distracted with their celebration since he would rather not receive any unwanted attention. It worked, since he was able to sneak out of the Ravenclaw common room with relative ease.

James and Sirius are probably going to be mad.

Alistair thought as he heard the Ravenclaw cheering from afar as he got away from their common room. Moving his head to look out the window, he saw that there was a storm going on outside. With heavy rain falling from the sky and lighting striking down. How you play quidditch in this weather is a bloody mystery. The young boy thought in confusion, because the only thing that he wanted to do in this type of weather was stay in bed. Which is precisely what he wants to do right now.

Walking around the castle with the loud sound of lighting coming from outside was quite unpleasant and he couldn't wait to arrive at the common room. Descending down the stairs and passing through a corridor, Alistair heard a series of claps coming from behind him.

Hearing that, caused him to stop because those claps didn't belong to the Ravenclaws. Closing his blue eyes for a second, he took a very deep breath and turned around to see who was clapping. Standing a dozen steps away from him, was a Slytherin. Thankfully, it was just one.

"I must say, for a bunch of glory obsessed fools, at least you all understand the importance of loyalty." The Slytherin that was speaking to Alistair was Rabastan Lestrange. "Even if the loyalty is very misguided." Rabastan was a year older than Alistair, he was a tall and lean young man with long and well kept light brown curls. He was a handsome boy with sharp features such as a strong jaw and high cheekbones.

Alistair immediately searched the area for more Slytherins, as this could be an ambush or something. But he saw no one else. "Do you want something, or are you just here to spill venom, Lestrange?" He asked the older boy.

Rabastan stopped clapping but didn't change his expression, which was one of strange amusement. "Not quite, I am just curious."

"About what?" Alistair had his hand ready to draw his wand if needed.

"What exactly would have happened if we decided to ambush right now?" Rabastan asked him with a smirk. "No one would be around to see it and we could do a whole lot with you without anyone noticing." He kept insinuating that something awful would happen in that type of situation while approaching Alistair until he stood in front of him.

But Alistair wasn't intimidated and simply responded to his question. "I would fight all of you to the best of my abilities, but I highly doubt that it would have lasted long enough for anything bad to happen." Because it would have made enough noise to alert someone. "And even if it did, if something bad happened to me, you and your housemates would have been the primary suspects." It didn't really matter how much they tried to hide it. "I know some of you aren't exactly bright enough to understand the risks and the possible consequences of your actions like Avery and Mulciber." Alistair hasn't heard from the two of them and he hopes he never has to see them again. "Like I also know that you are certainly not as foolish as those two to attempt something that could get you in trouble, Lestrange ."

Rebastan just let out an arrogant smile in response, before he walked past Alistair. Taking a dozen steps down the corridor before he finally spoke back. "You are not as pathetic as Potter and Regulus's brother, but you are still messing with forces that are above you, remember that, Peverell." That sounded more like a warning than a threat. After saying that, Rebastan turned to the right and left Alistair alone in the corridor.

Alistair just sighed in response to this unfortunate encounter. I'm getting sick of this nonsense.

He thought as he continued his path to return to his common room. Seriously, most of the Pure-Bloods I know are nothing special, some are quite average to be honest, the only thing that gives them superiority are their influence due to this pathetic belief of superiority because of their blood purity. In truth, some of the greatest wizards and witches that ever lived were Half-Bloods and some Muggleborns are way better than most Pure-Bloods. That was Alistair's honest opinion. I mean, I don't care that I'm a Pure-Blood, I don't feel superior to anyone because of such a stupid thing. Bloody hell, my father himself told me that there is not a witch or wizard in existence whose blood has not mingled with that of Muggles. And that knowledge just made him see all those fools that think they are better than everyone because of their alleged blood purity as a bunch of pathetic hypocrites. The fact that they think they can harm muggleborns because of it, only makes them even more pathetic and they bring a bad name for some of the "pure-bloods" that don't care about this nonsense and brands them as Blood traitors... What nonsense...

...

...

...

Nonsense... Yeah, nonsense... My mother once said that most of the horrors that ever happened in history were simply the result of an idiot trying to make sense of something nonsensical. His mother usually spilled some gibberish from time to time, but they almost always made sense later. I think that all of this is nothing more than an exaggerated case of- While he was deep in thought, he didn't even notice that he had made it all the way back to the Gryffindor Common Room.

"WHERE THE BLOODY HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?!" The moment he stepped inside, Lily had approached him and she seemed mad at him.

"Huh?" Alistair got startled by his girlfriend's sudden yelling and noticed that everyone was now staring at him as he stood at the entrance with Lily giving him that apprehensive look that she gives the students during prefect duty. "What?" He was confused.

"We told you to not wander around the school without someone accompanying you!" She reminded him of what they had agreed upon. "Seriously, what if they ambushed you while everyone was in the game, they could do something and we wouldn't know until it was too late!" Which was exactly what Rebastan said to him in the corridor. "

Alistair was about to open his mouth to reply but then. "Hey, there you are." Sirius appeared and greeted him. "We were about to win the game but the bloody Seeker screwed up at the last minute." He complained to him.

"The Ravenclaw Seeker got the snitch?" Alistair asked. No wonder they were so happy. He thought as he saw how much the Ravenclaw were celebrating their victory.

"Yes." James then approached them, visibly annoyed with the lost game. "Ahhhh... It was a perfect performance..." The loss was clearly hard on him. "Our score was a hundred, while they only had ten points!" He whined, and it was understandable because that was an overwhelming difference.

"Get over it, Potter." Lily replied with her folded. "You win some and you lose some, the Seeker may have messed it up but it was a clean victory nonetheless." She bluntly told James, before moving her back to look at Alistair. "Now, back to what is important, where were you?" The redhead asked the blond boy.

"Ummm... I was..." Alistair was about to reply, but before he could, Sirius approached him and started to sniff him. "What?" He asked since he was now wondering if he smelled bad or something.

"Are you wearing perfume?" Sirius asked as he noticed.

"No," He now noticed that he actually smelled really good at the moment, but he couldn't really figure out what kind of smell was that. "It's just Pandora's smell."

The three of them seemed to have a different reaction to what he said.

James smirked and gave him a strange nod.

Sirius chuckled and patted his shoulder before giving him a thumbs up.

Lily gave him a very weird stare that frightened him quite a lot.

"Umm..." Alistair was confused. "Why are the three of you looking at me like that?" He decided to ask because he really didn't like where this was going.

"Okay..." Sirius had a strange expression on his face that Alistair couldn't quite understand. "I've been meaning to ask you this for a while now," He wrapped his arm around his shoulder. "Please be honest with me, Mate." He pointed at his confused face. "Are you and this Pandora... Shagging?" That was his question.

"WHAT!?" Justifiably, Alistair yelled in response to what one of his best friends just asked him. With his face immediately turning red in response to it. "NO!" He immediately denied as he moved his head to look at James and Lily, and he also noticed that the vast majority of the common room was now staring at him. "WE'RE JUST FRIENDS!" He immediately reminded them.

"Yeah, right..." SIrius replied sarcastically. "Some broad from Ravenclaw once told me that she saw the two of you on top of her bed inside of the Ravenclaw Tower." James made a surprised face and was clearly amused by the information, while Lily's weird stare somehow got worse. "Are you gonna seriously deny that you shagged her to your mate, Al?"

"SHE HAS A BOYFRIEND, YOU BLOODY IDIOT!" That was Alistair's immediate reply to his question. "AND I JUST GOT A GIRLFRIEND MYSELF, SO WHY WOULD I DO SUCH A THIN-" Alistair immediately shut his mouth after saying something that he really wasn't supposed to say.

"Wait?!" Unfortunately, everyone heard what he said. "You got a girlfriend?!" James asked him in surprise.

Lily widened her eyes with Alistair's unintentional announcement.

"Blimey," Sirius said happily. "Well done, Mate!" He congratulated the blond boy happily. "So, who is she?"

Alistair had a near uncontrollable urge to scream as everyone started to gossip about his sudden reveal. All he could do was move his blue eyes to look at his girlfriend, who was looking at him with her green eyes. Maybe...

He seriously contemplated on revealing his relationship. "I'm..." He was about to say it.

"AAAAIIIHHH!" Until he heard a scream coming from upstairs.

"What the?!" Alistair got startled by the loud sound. Lily seemed to have been startled by the scream.

"HAHAHAHA!" But James bursted into laughter in front of them.

It only took a second for Lily to look at him apprehensively. "Potter, what did you do?" It was obvious that whatever happened, was James's doing.

"I'm just giving our Seeker some motivation to not screw the game up ever again." He replied while trying to contain her laughter.

"You're so petty, Potter." Lily was visibly disgusted. "Don't you see that the poor guy already feels bad enough, he didn't need this."

"That was an amateur mistake that cost us the game, he should feel bad about it." But James clearly had no sympathy for the guy.

Alistair simply sighed in response to that and removed Sirius' hands from around him, before moving towards the rooms.

"Where are you going?" James asked him.

"See what type of damage you caused, try to contain it and then go to sleep." Alistair responded as he moved past everyone. I'm really not in the mood for this right now.

"But, who is your girlfriend?" Sirius asked again and everyone looked at him in curiosity, because everyone seemed to want to know who Alistair Peverell's girlfriend was, clueless at the fact that she was standing in that very room.

Lily stood there, wondering if that was the time that he would finally reveal their relationship to everyone. She clearly seemed a bit nervous due to the amount of people that.

But honestly, Al was feeling way too sleepy and he really wasn't going to be able to face the aftermath in that state, so he sadly had to disappoint Lily again. "Can't tell you, we agreed to keep our relationship a secret."

Unfortunately, that only sparkled even more curiosity.

"Wait, what?" James asked his cousin.

"Oh boy, does she have a crazy ex or something?" Sirius asked in curiosity. Probably because he has probably dealt with something similar with one of the many girls that he went out with.

No, it's more like a guy that doesn't take no for an answer and might do something bad if he finds out. He thought before responding. "No... But it's something similar..." He carefully answered while staring at Lily and James.

"Is it a guy that can't take the hint that she doesn't want him but keeps trying anyway?" Somehow, Sirius figured out the situation. Which really surprised Alistair.

Opening his mouth to answer, Alistair could only say. "That is literally what is happening."

"What?" James seemed surprised by that. "You're afraid of some wanker that got his eyes on your girl?" No, I'm afraid of my own cousin because he got his eyes on the girl that fancies me since we were all eleven.

"It's... Probably a little more complicated than that, Potter." Lily decided to join in the conversation and she got that right. The complication stands from the fact that the wanker in question is someone he loves dearly and doesn't want to have problems with as a result of it.

"What is so complicated?" James asked, before he wrapped his arm around Lily uninvited. "If it was with me, I would hex any imbecile that tried to get between us." His cousin spoke arrogantly like there was something going on in between him and Lily.

Hearing that, justifiably bothered Alistair and he had an urge to say something back to his cousin.

However,

"There is no 'Us', you blind bloody fool!" The redheaded girl replied angrily before she elbowed him on the stomach. "And this is exactly what Alistair is talking about, so go hex yourself and stop spewing this deluded nonsense before I hex you myself, Potter." Those were Lily's words before she stormed off, leaving James to rub his stomach, with a playful smirk on his face. "Come on, I'm gonna help you deal with whatever damage he caused." She told her boyfriend as she signaled him to follow him.

Al nodded, taking the hint that she just wanted to spend time with him. "See you guys later."

"We're gonna check on Peter and Remus." Sirius told him. "Come on, James." He wrapped his arm around the messy haired boy.

"Bye, Al." James waved at him. "Bye, Evans. " He blew her a kiss after saying that as she just frowned in response. "Do you think Remus knows who she is?" He asked Sirius as the two passed through the main entrance. Alistair could already tell that Sirius will make it his personal mission to figure out who Alistari's girlfriend was.

Understandably, that angered the two of them. But they kept their emotions controlled as James and Sirius left the common room and Alistair and Lily made their way up as the other Gryffindors stared at them. But as soon as they were out of sight, Lily pushed Alistair into the wall and pressed her lips into his. With the two snogging for a minute until they separated and she said.

"Sorry." Alistair apologized for not revealing their relationship once again.

"It's alright." Lily told him while caressing his face gently.

Alistair yawned before speaking again. "I think I'm going to go to sleep." He informed her while making a sleepy face.

"Didn't you get enough sleep yesterday?" Lily asked him before signalling him to follow her.

"No, Remus was having trouble sleeping, so I stayed awake with him the whole night." For some reason, he keeps having nightmares about the man that turned him into a werewolf. "I was going to take a nap when I was with Xeno and Pandora, but we ended up talking about my situation and that ended up distracting me."

"Your situation?" Lily asked for details.

"About my relationship and the Slytherins wanting some payback." Alistair replied. "And they just told me to get it over with because the longer I take, the worse it gets." And he agreed with them.

"Al, what were you doing with those two anyway?" She asked him with a strange tone of voice as they finally reached his room.

"We were... Snuggling on our undergarments." He admitted to her since he really believed in complete honesty.

"What?" But Lily clearly made a weird face in response to what her boyfriend just told her, which is kind of justified since he just told her that he was snuggling with another girl and boy while in their undergarments.

Alistair decided to give her some context. "When I was in my third year," He started to explain to her as he removed some of his clothes to go to sleep. "After my mother died, there were... times when I would kind of burst into tears uncontrollably when there was no one watching." The blond boy looked down embarrassed. "One time, during a Quidditch game that everyone was attending, I kind of sat on the stairs that led to the Ravenclaw Tower and cried... And after crying for a whole minute, I kind of noticed that Pandora was sitting there, watching me cry and she wordlessly hugged me and placed my face on her shoulder and I ended up soaking her uniform with my tears." He only saw her a few times before that, but she would always stand out due to her bubbly personality. "And after a few minutes, she took my hand, pulled me towards the Ravenclaw Tower, stripped herself and I down to our undergarments before she pulled me to lay on top of her in the bed and she just kept hugging me after that and letting me cry on her." That was the story of how this habit started. "It was so pleasant that we kind of kept doing that during every Quidditch game after that."

"Al..." Lily looked at him with a face of both sympathy and doubt. "Did you ever... had feelings for Pandora?" She asked him before she turned around, so Alistair could put on his pajamas.

"I'm not gonna lie to you," He decided to be honest. "Yes, I did..." He admitted. "But she was already dating Xeno at the time and I ended up becoming great friends with him as well, and I certainly wouldn't ruin my friendship with Pandora over this." It was true, he was just content with just being great friends with her.

"Does Xeno know about..." She was trying to ask if Xeno knows about this story. "Your feelings for Pandora?"

"Yes, I actually told them..." He looked away embarrassed after responding to that.

Lily noticed as she turned around since Al was fully dressed now. "And?" The redhead seemed curious.

"They asked... If I would like to join them when... They got... Intimate..." Alistair spoke very awkwardly, since he was basically speaking about the time when Xeno and Pandora asked if he wanted to shag with the two of them. But to this day, he still hasn't figured out if it was supposed to be him and Xeno doing it with Pandora at the same time or if it was supposed to be the three of them doing it with one another. He was too afraid to ask them.

"Wait...WHAT?!" Lily was clearly shocked by what Alistair just told her.

"Ummm... They are... Very open about this kind of... Stuff..." He explained awkwardly.

She gave him a look before asking something that she seemed to be afraid to know. "Did you..." Lily was clearly afraid of the answer.

"NO!" He never did such a thing with them, he certainly wouldn't be comfortable doing that kind of thing with the two of them. It would be overwhelmingly awkward for him afterwards and he really wouldn't want that to ruin their friendship.

Lily sighed in relief. "Okay..."

Alistair then laid on top of his bed. "To be honest, I always envied their relationship and wanted to have something similar to what they have... Minus the last part..." He confessed to her.

Lily just giggled a bit before smiling at him. Then she looked at the door before to see if there was anyone coming and when she confirmed that there wasn't, she made her way to join Alistair on top of his bed. Getting on top of him and pinning him down. "Is this... Similar enough?" She asked him with a smile.

"No." He replied with a big smile of his own. "This is way better."

With that, Lily pressed her lips into his and the two passionately snogged on top of Alistair's bed. But unfortunately, it was a short snogg. "Now... I really have to go check what James did to the poor boy..." She informed him.

"Yeah... You really should, because James really doesn't take well when someone interferes with his Quidditch performance." Alistair reminded her. He honestly doesn't really wanna know what James did because he may lose his desire to sleep afterwards.

Lily nodded, before planting several kisses on his face before standing up from his bed. "Get some rest." She covered him with the blanket affectionately before she closed the curtain to make the room dark for him. With that, the redhead girl left the room and left the blond boy by himself. All that he did was roll over and lay on his stomach before he instantly fell asleep.

Present:

"Huh?" The last thing that Maxwell Peverell remembers. Jumping off his broomstick in order to reach the Golden Snitch, grabbing it and then falling down. Then he remembers hearing "GRYFFINDOR WINS '' and opening his eyes to see a very beautiful girl staring at him, while he accidentally stared at her really nice looking black knickers. Now, all he could do was try to figure out what happened afterwards. Which he began by opening his blue-green eyes to see where he was at the moment. Immediately, he noticed that he was inside the Hospital Wing, still wearing his Quidditch outfit, with a lot of people that he knows standing around his bed. "Hey." He called everyone who was around his bed out as they kept on talking.

"What were you thinking, Max?!" Hermione, who was sitting on the edge of the bed on his right, immediately scolded him for his reckless stunt. "You could have gotten seriously hurt!"

"I was thinking about the game, Mione." Max replied with a smile before placing his hands behind his head.

"I got to say, for your first match, that was quite impressive." Oliver Wood, who was standing next to his bed, told him while giving him a thumbs up. "The way you handled your broomstick... that some pro level work there."

"When you jumped out of your broom to dodge that bludger, I thought you were done for." That was Susan talking at the bottom of his bed.

"Good to see you, Susan." Maxwell told the Hufflepuff girl. "You too, Hannah." Hannah was actually standing besides Susan and she waved at him after he greeted her.

"Bu-but, how did you get away with those fouls?" Neville, who was standing on the left side of the bed, asked him in confusion. Mostly because Maxwell did things in the game that should have been against the rules but.

"Technically, those weren't really fouls." Ron, who was standing besides Nev, responded. "There was nothing written in the rules that prohibited what he did during the game."

"That was some real dirty play though." Susan decided to point out, though, Maxwell doesn't think that she meant it in a bad way.

"It won us the game, and that's all that matters." Oliver pointed out. The Quidditch Captain seemed a little too pleased by how Maxwell played in the game.

Maxwell just laid there while being surrounded by his friends. Then he decided to ask. "Did I break something in the fall?" He asked since he seemed fine.

"Apparently not... Do you feel any pain?" Hermione asked him.

"No." He replied casually before he attempted to sit up. "Aaaahhh... " Only to grunt and immediately lay back down because his back really hurted. "Actually, yes."

"You fell from a considerable height, there was no way that a fall like that wouldn't have caused some damage." Hannah pointed out to Maxwell. "Were you looking under that girl's skirt?" She asked him.

Everyone looked at her in response to that question, before moving their heads to look at Maxwell.

"Unintentionally, but yes." Maxwell admitted. "She was wearing black knickers." Everyone seemed surprised by what he just said.

"Pervert." Hannah called him that in response.

"You already called me that and I already admitted, so what?" Maxwell told the Hufflepuff in response, clearly unbothered by it.

"Were her knickers pretty?" Susan asked.

"Yes, they were strangely elegant looking." Maxwell responded to the other Hufflepuff.

"Are you three seriously talking about a girl's knickers?" Hermione asked in visible discomfort with the subject.

"Yes." Maxwell and Susan replied at the same time.

"No. " But Hannah denied while blushing.

"Anyway, Madam Pomfrey, will be coming here with the Professor to examine you." Oliver warned him as he scratched the back of his head due to clearly being uncomfortable. "I have to go check on the team, have a good recovery, Max.." Before he waved everyone goodbye and made his way to the exit.

Max and the others waved at The Quidditch Captain, as he left the room. When he did though, they heard several voices coming from outside. Maxwell moved his head to look at Ron and Nev in confusion. "Everyone wanted to check on you but McGonagall only allowed close friends to enter." Ron explained to him.

Where's Draco and Daphne then? He asked himself since they were his best friends. "Wait, why are you two here?" The blond boy asked Susan and Hannah. "Don't get me wrong, I do consider you two as friends but..." They barely knew each other or spoke after his unintentional visit to the Hufflepuff common room.

"Really?" Susan seemed happy to hear that. "Do you mean it?"

"Huh?" Max didn't understand.

"Actually, we just came here because I needed a potion for stomach ache." Hannah explained while rubbing her stomach.

"Oh..." Maxwell was kind of embarrassed for assuming that they came to see him. "Okay..."

"But, we actually stayed because of you." Susan decided to add.

"Oh, good to know." He smiled at the two of them, before moving his head to look at Hermione. "So, ummm..." Max decided to ask her a question. "When am I getting examined?

"When Madam Pomfrey comes back from-" Hermione was about to tell him, but his question was answered when she actually entered the hospital wing and made her way to her patient."

"Good evening, Mr. Peverell." The woman greeted her patient pleasantly. "How are you feeling?" She asked him.

"My back really hurts." Max informed her as she approached the bed. "Though, that is quite understandable considering the fall that I had to endure."

The woman nodded in response, before signalling everyone to get out so she can begin with the examination. All of them wordlessly left the room while waving at Max and with him waving in return.

After spending the next ten minutes inspecting him, Madam Pomfrey gave him the diagnosis. "The impact was quite considerable but thankfully, you didn't break anything." She informed him to his relief. "But, it did cause some damage, so I will give you some potions for it and keep you in observation for a few more hours." She informed him.

"Alright," Maxwell said as he laid on the bed shirtless as he had to take off the top of his outfit for the examination. "Sorry for the trouble." He decided to apologize to the good Healer.

"It's no trouble at all, Mr. Peverell." She politely replied to the blond boy.

"Can my friend co-" He was about to ask if his friends could come back in for him to talk to them, but before he could ask. "Aaaahhhhhh..." A grunt of pain unintentionally escaped his lips, because his scar started to hurt once again.

Before Madam Pomfrey could ask him about it, a voice came from the entrance. "Oh, h-hello." Maxwell already knew who it was, even before he announced himself.

"Professor Quirrell..." Maxwell awkwardly greeted the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor as he attempted to hide the awful pain that he was feeling at the moment.

"F-forgive for the intrusion, bu-but I r-require something from yo-you, M-madam Pom-pomfrey." He stuttered to speak to her. "A-and, I hop-hope the fall di-didn't caused any serious dam-damage, Mr. Peverell." The man wearing a turban told Maxwell.

"No... Just some... Mild...Back pain..." The boy spoke in response while trying to contain the pain on his scar that outweigh the pain from the fall. Despite being focused on fighting off the pain on his chest, Maxwell couldn't help but notice that something was off about his robe, he noticed that there was some damage at the bottom of it, right next to his shoes, which seemed to be done by fire.

"What is it that you require, Quirinus?" Madam Pomfrey asked as he signaled him to follow her. "Rest for now, Mr. Peverell." She instructed Maxwell.

"Can... My Friends... Come in...?" Maxwell asked as the pain kept increasing.

"I'll call them in, but they can only stay for a little while." The healer informed him as she signalled Quirrell to follow her out.

"Thanks..." Thankfully, as Quirrell leaves, the pain decreases.

I think he was the one that Jinxed my Broomstick... Maxwell could have been a Slitherin wanting to guarantee their victory, but part of him thinks that it might have been Quirrell in an attempt to harm him. The height that he was during it would have caused much more damage than the fall that he ended up enduring in the end of the game.

In the end, the pain on his scar stopped and the pain on his back returned. Why is it getting worse? He asked himself as he noticed that it keeps slightly increasing at each encounter with Quirrell. However, his thoughts were interrupted by the sight of Hermione entering the Hospital Wing, by herself.

"What happened to the others?" Maxwell asked his friend.

"Ron went to grab a letter from his mother that his brother had." She explained as she approached his bed. "Neville went to feed his Toad." Once she got closer, Hermione was visibly uncomfortable by the sight of Max's scar. "And those two girls from Hufflepuff went back to their common room." The bushy haired girl informed him as she looked at his scar with visibly discomfort.

"Yes, it's awful." Maxwell acknowledged that the big scar on his chest was something he was quite insecure about, but he was really good at hiding it.

"It... really is..." Hermione agreed with him. But then, to Maxwell's surprise, she actually touched with her gentle hand despite her clear discomfort at the sight of it. "It must have been awful." She said as she touched.

Maxwell looked down sadly. "It definitely was... But, I was a year old when it happened, so I don't even remember." It was true.

"It's... probably for the best Max." Hermione told him as she caressed his scar with her hand. "I don't think this is something worth remembering." After telling him that, she moved her head to look at the entrance to see if anyone was there, before she moved her head to look at Max. "Professor Quirrell was here, wasn't he?" It didn't sound like a question.

"Yes." Maxwell confirmed as he nodded. "I'm pretty sure he was the one that wasJinxing my Broomstick during the game."

"You're right, it was him." Hermione confirmed as she removed her hand from his scar. "I saw him uttering the incantation during the game, so I ran to his stand and set fire on his robes in order to distract him and make him stop."

"You did that?" Maxwell asked her and she nodded in response. Without any type of warning, Maxwell sat up and out of nowhere, gave Hermione a kiss on the cheek. "Mione, you're amazing." The idea that he set his robes on fire for him was just something he considered awesome.

"Ummm..." Hermione blushed at the kiss he just gave her. "You're welcome." She replied while looking away embarrassed.

"That pretty much adds to the conclusion that Quirrell is actively trying to harm me." It was already obvious after the mess with the Cerberus, but this added even more proof.

"Max, you need to talk to the Professors or the Headmaster about this." Hermione kept on insisting.

"And tell them what?" I could let them into my mind or use a pensive, but I really don't have much in terms of conclusive evidence to show them even if I did end up in that trap by following him around. "I need concrete proof before making an accusation, Mione." And Maxwell was about to take action to get them. "Madam Pomfrey wants to keep me in observation for a few more hours but after that, I'm going to Hagrid's Hut to ask him about the three-headed dog."

"But, it's going to get dark soon." Hermione pointed out to him. "Are you really going to risk getting more detention by sneaking out at night again?"

"Yes, because I want to know what the bloody hell is going on." Maxwell told her in clear annoyance over this entire situation. "And this is the only clue I have at the moment, so unless you have another suggestion, I'm all ears."

"How about you wait until tomorrow?" She pointed out an obvious solution to him.

Although that was a simple solution, Maxwell knew that he couldn't wait. He sat up and looked her in the eyes. "I can't," Then he grabbed her hand and made her touch his scar again. "Whatever makes it hurt when I'm near Quirrell, is getting worse." The blond boy informed her.

"Define worse." She told him as she inspected his scar.

"I notice that the pain gets slightly worse every time and I feel like it's just a matter of time before it gets unbearable." Maxwell explained his fear to her. "And I really think that whatever it is that is causing this pain, may be connected to whatever Quirrell is after." That was his main theory, and the pain getting worse might be an indication that he is getting closer to whatever it is. "So, I need to get to the bottom of this or something awful might happen to me." He presented his major concern to her.

Hermione simply looked at him in the eyes, and she seemed to have taken his words into consideration. "Okay, but I'm coming with you and I'm going to speak to Ron as well."

Maxwell had an urge to deny it, but he could really use some company. "Okay, but if something happens..."

"I already know the risks and I accept them, I'm sure Ron will feel the same way." Hermione told him in response before she removed her hand from his scar and placed it on his right cheek. "You saved my life, Maxwell Peverell." She reminded him. "The least I can do for you is help you, especially if your life is in danger as well." The girl declared to him.

Maxwell smiled in response and held the hand that was his cheek. "That means a lot, Mione."

Hermione smiled as well.

After an hour of simply killing time, Hermione decided to go back to the common room to inform Ronald of the plan. Leaving Maxwell by himself inside of the Hospital Wing. He honestly had an urge to just leave with Hermione since he felt fine now, but he decided to wait for Madam Pomfrey 's approval.

But at the moment, he was simply laying on top of the bed doing absolutely nothing with his eyes closed. All that he could do was try to come up with a theory to why his scar hurts everytime he is around Quirrell. But he couldn't come up with anything, especially with the detail of the pain slightly increasing every time he encounters him. Truth is, he is hoping that he can get some explanation from Hagrid and find a different clue from there.

"Taking a nap?" Opening his eyes, he saw a familiar face.

Maxwell smiled at her presence. "Hey, Dora." The one standing next to his bed was Nymphadora Tonks. "Are you hurt or something?" He asked since she was in the Hospital Wing.

"No," She replied before sitting at the edge of the bed. "I came to visit you, Blondie." Then she showed a strange little box to him that seemed to be wrapped like a gift. "Brought you some cookies."

"Really?" Maxwell immediately sat up in order to check the little box. "Thanks." It had the same Shortbread cookies that he and Susan devoured together. "How did you know I was here?"

"Susan told me that you might still be here, so I decided to stop by." Nymphadora answered. "How are you feeling?" She asked him while touching his shoulder affectionately as he grabbed a cookie to eat.

"Just back pain from the fall but Madam Pomfrey gave me a potion that made the pain go away. " He explained after swallowing. "She just wants me to stay a bit more before releasing me." Which was kind of a waste of time because he feels fine. "I ended up winning the game, so... It was worth it."

Nymphadora chuckled in response to what he said. "I'm sure Oliver is pleased, he has been desperately searching for a new Seeker since Charlie finished his last year." She was referring to Charlie Weasley, Ronald's older brother, who was the previous Gryffindor Seeker.

"Was he good?" Maxwell decided to ask as he ate the cookies.

"So much that the other Seekers were afraid to go up against him." Nymphadora told him with a lot of certainty in his voice.

"Did you know him well?" He got the impression that she knew Charlie Weasley well.

"Yes," She replied. "We're actually good friends, we started hanging out together in our first year in school." By the way she was speaking, they seemed close.

But Maxwell noticed something. "Our first year in school?" He noted that she said our.

"Yes, Charlie and I started school together, hell, I was actually standing beside him when the sorting hat called him." Nymphadora explained to him.

"But..." Charlie Weasley finished school right before Maxwell started and if he and Nymphadora were in the same year. "Shouldn't you have finished school already if you two were in the same year?" He decided to present his confusion to the older girl.

"I should have and I would have," Her hair changed colors when she said that, it was pink but it changed to a dark blue. "If I hadn't failed all of my N.E.W.T.s ." She told him the reason.

That surprised Maxwell. "Wait?" He placed the cookies aside and moved to sit beside Nymphadora on the edge of the bed. "You are redoing your last year?" That was already obvious.

"Yes." She told him while looking away embarrassed. "It's kind of embarrassing." Her hair got brighter for some reason.

"Was there a reason for it?" He decided to ask. "Because for some reason, I don't think it was because you didn't study for it." Nymphadora seemed clumsy and a little goofy, but she was clearly not stupid.

"No, I did study really hard for it." Her hair got darker again. "But, I had some personal problems when the N.E.W.T.s got started and I couldn't concentrate." By the look on her face, he could tell that it was something bad.

"You don't have to say it if it makes you uncomfortable." Maxwell decided to tell her that since he would hate to make her uncomfortable.

Nymphadora just looked at Maxwell with a somewhat sad face before speaking. "My dad... Caught Dragon Pox, a week before the N.E.W.T.s started." Dragon Pox was a potentially fatal contagious disease that affected wizards and witches. It's symptoms were presumably similar to Muggle illnesses like chicken pox. In addition to leaving the victim's skin pockmarked, dragon pox caused a lasting greenish tinge. The symptoms of simpler cases included a green-and-purple rash between the toes and sparks coming out of the nostrils when the patient sneezed.

"Oh, really?" That's some horrendous timing. "Did your father get better at least?"

The moment he asked that, her hair turned black. "No..."

Now, Maxwell felt awful for asking. "I'm sorry... " He looked down in shame.

"You didn't know." She reassured him.

...

...

...

...

Unfortunately, bringing that up caused a very awkward silence between the two. With Maxwell deeply regretting bringing that up, as this must definitely be awful to Nymphadora. Bloody hell, she not only had to redo her last year in school, with all of her friends probably graduating before her, but she also lost her father. He really felt bad for Dora and wished he could do something for her. Taking a deep breath, Maxwell decided to break the silence by asking her a different question.

"So... What do you plan on doing after finishing school?" He asked her in an attempt to change the subject.

"I was..." She moved her head to look at him. "Planning on becoming an Auror."

"Really?" That was not what Maxwell was expecting. "Is there a reason for it?" He was curious, because he really didn't seem to be the type.

"A friend of mine kind of suggested it to me but I grew to like the idea and decided to try it." Nymphadora explained, her hair went back to her usual color, which kind of indicated that her mood changed back to normal. "My plan hasn't changed, it just got delayed because of the... circumstances." There was a lot of determination in her tone of voice. "But I need to do really well this time to be able to succeed."

After hearing that, Maxwell had an idea of how he could help her. "Well, actually I-" He was about to tell her about his idea, but before he could say it.

"Hey." He heard a voice coming from the entrance. It was Draco.

"Took your sweet time to visit me, mate." Maxwell commented as his best friend approached the bed.

But once his silver haired friend got closer and noticed the Metanomagus sitting beside him, he gave her the same look of repulsion that he usually gives most Muggleborns. Maxwell mostly ignores those looks, because he understands that it's a result of Draco's upbringing and he knows that he does make an effort to not be nasty, at least while he's near Maxwell.

"Hi, cousin." Nymphadora waved at him after saying that.

"Don't call me that." Draco immediately replied.

Maxwell looked at Nymphadora with a confused face.

"Our mothers are sisters." She revealed it to him.

"Wait...What?!" He immediately looked at Draco after hearing that, and Draco simply folded his arms and gave a scowl in response. Then he moved his head to look at Tonks, who only gave him a slow nod in response. Wait, now I remember, Mrs. Malfoy once mentioned that she had two sisters, one in Azkaban to aid Voldemort and the other married a Muggleborn... That was probably Dora's late father. Maxwell understood now. "Ummm..." He tried to remember her name. "Andromeda."

Dora smiled. "Yup, that's my mother's name." Then she moved her head to look at Draco. "I guess aunt Narcissa hasn't completely forgotten about her." She pointed out as she stood up from the bed.

"She mostly remembers her due to the disgrace she brought to her family by marrying your Muggleborn father." Draco spoke with a bit of poison in his voice.

"Draco." Maxwell looked at his friend apprehensively after hearing what he said.

"What?" Draco asked in response. "It's the true." It clearly was.

"But her father has passed away, so please be respectful." Maxwell told his friend.

"Oh," Draco heard him. "You have sympathies then, despite them not meaning much to you."

"Coming from you, it actually does." She gave him a playful smile in response and he only looked away. Then she moved her head to look at Maxwell. "Since you got company now, I think I'll get going." She told the blond boy.

"Okay," Despite being disappointed, he waved her goodbye. "Thank you very much for the cookies."

"You welcome, Blondie." She said before moving to look at Draco. "Bye to you too." Dora said to Draco, before she made her way towards the exit.

After she left, Draco spoke. "Why was she here?" He asked his friend.

"She brought me cookies." The blond boy replied as he grabbed the little box and eat another cookie.

"What?" Draco seemed confused.

"Long story, what took you so long to visit?" He decided to change the subject otherwise he would have to explain the event where he buried his head on her chest and he really didn't want that.

"Ahh..." Draco moaned in annoyance. "Daphne wanted me to hold something for her for an considerable amount of time."

"Daphne wanted something from you and you complied?" There was something off about this.

"She hid all of my clothes away and told that she would burn them all if I didn't help her." Draco explained to Maxwell.

"Draco... You could literally buy an entire new set of clothes, why the bloody hell do you care if Daphne burns them all?" There's gotta be more because Draco wouldn't comply so easily.

"I..." Draco scratched the back of his head. "Wanna know what is inside that box."

"That makes much more sense." Maxwell spoke as he eat another cookie. "You saw the box?"

"I noticed her working on it and now I want know what's inside." Draco confessed as he moved to sit down on the bed besides him. "She told me to tell you to go see her tomorrow and that the box will be open by then."

"I just hope that is true, because otherwise, I swear that I'm going to take that damn box from her and get it open myself." He was already at the limit of his patience with the box business and Daphne still hasn't told him how that box was connected to his grandmother's family. "Seriously, that box would have already been open of she just let me help."

"What do you think is in the box anyway?" Draco asked. "Sometype of artifact or something?"

"Whatever it is, it better be worth the trouble." Maxwell would be extremely upset if there was something completely useless inside the box. "Daphne really wants whatever is inside, so I really think it is."

"For Daphne Greengrass of all people to be putting that amount of work in order to get her hands on it , it has to be worth it." Draco spoke the true, because Daphne isn't the type that would put that amount of work into something like that unless it was worth it.

"But, what do you think she was doing to get it open?" Draco decided to ask. "Sometype of ritual?"

"Probably..." Honestly, he wouldn't be surprise if it was. "I'll figure it out tommorow." For now, he decided to change the subject since he really had to focus on the task and thinking about what was inside that damn box would distract him. "So, do you have any other cousin that I should know about?" Because he still can't believe that Nymphadora and Draco are first cousins.

"Yes, the daughter of my aunt Bellatrix, my mother's other sister." Draco revealed to him. "She's on her second year already." Maxwell was a little surprised, because he never mentioned her before and he has gone to the Malfoy Manor on multiple occasions.

"What is her name?" He asked in curiosity.

"Delphini Lestrange, the only child of Rodolphus Lestrange." Lestrange was the surname of an ancient pure-blood wizarding family, originally from France but also with branches in Great Britain, and one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. The Lestranges were a very old and wealthy family with a vault at Gringotts Wizarding Bank full of treasure. The family emblem was a raven, and their massive family vault was located in Paris, in the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise. The family motto is "Corvus oculum corvi non eruit", which in English means "a crow will not pull out the eye of another crow", which represents how members of the family will not betray each other. Maxwell read all that information in a book but other than the common knowledge, he doesn't know much about the family. "Actually..." Draco seemed to have remembered something. "I think you already saw her, she was that girl that was standing next to you when you fell from after grabbing the Snitch."

"What?" That beautiful girl is Draco's cousin. He was very surprised by that. Bloody hell, is everyone woman related to him is going to be that attractive? Maxwell coudn't help but think that, since he finds Nymphadora very attractive and this Delphini was dowright gorgeous. And the memory of him accidentely staring at her knickers reappered on his mind and he had to fight back a blush that was forming on his face. "Can I meet her some time?" He asked him.

"Ummm..." Draco seemed to be reluctant. "I don't think it's a good idea." His friend told him in clear concern.

But Maxwell didn't understood. "Why not?" He asked.

"Well..." Draco was apperently searching for the right words. "You see..." He bit hiis lower lip, which made Maxwell worried. "During the ... Wizarding War ... Your father... Killed her father and uncle during the conflict."

"Oh... Yes... I forgot about that." It's registered that Alistair Peverell killed Rabastan and Radolphus Lestrange during the war, it's not registred how it happened but it was before Maxwell was born. He did know that Radolphus Lestrange had a child who became the sole heir, but he didn't know that it was a girl or that she was Draco's cousin. "You're right, it's not really a good idea." Because she might be feeling vengeful or something. But then he wondered something. "Wait, if she is the only living member of the Lestange family, who is she staying with if not with your mother?" That was something that he found odd, the Malfoys would gladly take responsibility for another Pure-Blood family member, but they never mentione her and he doubts that Tonks mother took her in or anything after her mother was sent to Azkaban so that begs the question, who is responsible for her.

"Delphini lives with her godfather, who was very close friends with her father and uncle." Draco answered his question.

"Who is he?" Maxwell asked in curiosity.

"Regulus Black, my mother's first cousin." Draco answered him. "Apperently, her father granted him full custody of her in his will if something were to happen to him and it did."

"Yeah..." He felt a little bad, but her father was a Dark Wizard that probably caused a lot of harm and Maxwell knows that his father probably had a very good reason to kill him. "I thin-" Before Maxwell could say something else to Draco, they heard steps coming from the entrance. The boys moved their heads to see who just came into the Hospital Wing, only to make identical confused faces when they saw that it was precisely the person that they were talking about at the moment.

Bloody hell, she is so pretty... Maxwell thought as he watched Delphini Lestrange approching the two of them slowly. There something... Alluring in the way she walked that Maxwell coudn't describe it properly, and he felt the exact same way he felt when he buried his face on Nymphadora's chest. Eventually, she closed the distance between herself and the two boys, standing righ in front of them and giving them an intense gaze her almond shaped hazel eyes. Draco kind of got unconfotable with the intense gaze and ended up looking away. Maxwell on the other hand, just stared back with his almond shaped blue-green eyes, staring deeply into her eyes. The intense staring a lasted for about a minute, until she finally spoke.

"It's a little rude to stare at a girl's undergarments without her permission, don't you think?" She asked him with a smirk on her face.

Maxwell only responded by smirking himself and saying. "It's also a little rude to watch someone grunt in pain without helping them, so I think we were both rude to each other."

"Indeed." The smirk suddenly turned into a strange smile.

Merry Christmas!

I deeply thank each and everyone of you for your support, it really means everything to me!

Q AND A:

Okay realised I said something stupid by saying that girl at the end was our unnamed future vampire Hufflepuff when clearly you stated she was wearing a Slytherin uniform

So I was wondering during Maxwell's third year if there's still a escapee from Azkaban can it be Bellatrix and could I suggest Maxwell meets her when Delphi invites him to Lestrange manor and the two are talking in a room when Bella casually walks in

If it's early in the morning Maxwell arrives at Lestrange manor Delphi could invite him in for breakfast or a cup of tea and while having that Bella walks in not long after waking up so she's still in scantly clad sleepwear much like now Delphi would purposely stay in her sleep wear

Just think it would be good to if for the third year it's actually a calm year for Maxwell while everyone else is freaking out a bit and wondering where Bella is and if she'll go after Maxwell all the while he's thinking due to Delphi loving him Bella is no threat to him and that Bella herself took a liking to him to

Would also be a little neat if Maxwell and Bellatrix have had some what of a encounter before say Maxwell joined Angelo on a tour/check up on Azkaban and when walking through Maxwell noted none of the prisoners had the will to even look out their cell except one Maxwell would remember a pair of eyes following him as he walked by later revealed to be Bella who was staring out at him

Even if he's never been to Azkaban I hope Maxwell has encountered Dementors before so he's more prepared for them than Harry was again if during his third year those joy sucking parasites stop the train when they get to his compartment instead of blacking out Maxwell when he sees the Dementor is leaning towards him he says fuck off Expecto Patronum

Side note curious to in Azkaban is something Angelo has been able to improve on during his time as minister like there's more human guards and over the years the Dementors numbers have been slowly declining

Speaking of Patronus with characters who never got a Patronus if we see them learn the spell under Maxwell's instruction in year 5 because yeah even with no Umbridge in the fifth year still be neat to see Maxwell form some kinda group to prepare his friends for the coming war where it's like for a hour or hour and half on weekdays Maxwell gathers this club

Anyway suggestions for characters Patronus

Draco - Peacock
Daphne - Leopardess or Snow Leopardess
Delphi - Thestral or Runespoor or Shark
Fleur and Gabrielle - Tigeress
Hufflepuff Vampire - Vampire Bat for a obvious pick or Shark
Susan - Bear of some kind
Hannah - different kind of bear

I'm also curious if being around Maxwell would effect the Patronus of the likes of Hermione, Luna and actually Nym is another one considering we know her Patronus did outright change

Still hope Maxwell's is a magical creature

By the way when Gabrielle gets mad hope it's in the sense of say she walked in on Maxwell and Fleur in some state of undress or entirely undress to not be outdone she'd immediately join in

Yes.

Nah, I don't think so. Sirius only managed to escape because of his secret Animagus transformation. Bellatrix escaped because of Voldemort.

That might happen later though, and I can only see Maxwell being on edge as he probably expects to be on the receiving end of a curse.

Don't think so...

He did see her once before that, but he barely paid attention to her.

Actually, yes.

Partially, but he thinks that it's better to put them to good use than allowing them to run freely.

Those are excellent ideas, and I may incorporate them.

Probably.

It is.

Well...

Good eleven chapters!

Yup...

Okay Maxwell woke up to exactly the sight I'd hope he'd have haha and yea loved how happy he seemed to be with Nym hugging him and bonus he got to bury his face in her chest again and this time she'd only have her nightwear on so extra bonus haha

Also liked the scene for it being the one that introduced Susan and Hannah and the fact they seemed to hit if off quite well so definitely looking forward to seeing them hopefully start hanging out with Maxwell from here on out also got to admire the confidence Maxwell showed in not really denying why he was so happy to be in bed with Nym

Liked to how after Nym woke up Susan and Hannah clarified that the professors weren't angry more concerned and glad Maxwell got to enjoy another thing in that scene that being Nym I'd say almost intentionally showing off her panties to Maxwell and the girls haha and I liked that while Hannah was a tad shy about it Susan ended up looking just like Maxwell which got me thinking to how much fun Maxwell and Susan will have with Hannah down the line and also got to like Nym showing the Hufflepuff spirt with the colour choice of said panties haha

Also yes after their impromptu breakfast got a laugh from Maxwell being so gutted that he couldn't see Nym change

Another example I think of how Maxwell is already becoming the king of the student body is the fact so many students gathered outside the Hufflepuff common room and got to give points to Maxwell as well he conducted himself brilliantly with the professors asking him what happened and liked to how he even made time for small talk and asked Professor Sprout if she got what she was looking for and liked to how Snape giving him detention didn't phase him and yeah loved the concern McGonagall had for Maxwell to

When he left got another laugh from Hermione using his middle name and glad he was able to slip the book to Daphne

As for the game I loved how Maxwell was fully willing to play dirty when the other seeker started playing as such and the fact Maxwell had a talk with Draco and they still chatted while Maxwell's broom was being jinxed now then since the jinx stopped suddenly that means something still distracted Quirrel and my hope is that unlike in canon where Snape had his robes set on fire due to Hermione knowing that in fact Quirrel is the more suspicious teacher she noticed he was chanting something to or rather only noticed him so she ran over and set his robes on fire

After some pretty neat flying that was a impressive albeit painful way to win the match

It also lead to the introduction of our unnamed Hufflepuff who's a future Vampire and yes got to appreciate Maxwell getting a look up her skirt and noting that she's already developing some nice curves haha and while I am saddened we didn't get her name this chapter after the description givin about her and the fact she was at Grimmauld place in the preview I'm 95% positive Black just isn't the colour of the panties she wore that day but also her surname

So if she is a Black I'm guessing she has to be either Sirius or Regulus daughter

As for her cousin Delphi thanks for confirming that she is a Lestrange and that in fact she's already at Hogwarts just that she and Maxwell haven't properly meet yet or maybe they have actually like at a function or gathering years ago or something but point is good to know Delphi is already at Hogwarts and also thanks for confirming Maxwell will note where Delphi gets her looks from haha

Also still think Maxwell should have a preference for having a room to himself unless he's sharing with a girl so when they are at Grimmauld Maxwell gets his own room that a lot if not all the girls crash in it

For Maxwell, yes...

Maxwell doesn't really try to hide the fact that he is a pervert, since there is no point in it.

It wasn't intentional, but Maxwell was more than happy to see. Susan was simply imitating Maxwell. What other color coud it be?

Yup, he was very disappointed.

Everyone was very interested in the story of how he encountered Fluffy. (By the third year, he will practically become the most popular guy in school, mostly because Angelo made his slaying of a certain beast as public as possible alongside giving him a certain award because of it.)

He did suggest she use someone's full name when lecturing them.

Oh, don't worry, they fully suspect Quirrell at that point. What makes Maxwell such a dangerous and exiciting Quidditch player is his fancy and elaborate maneuvers with the Broom and the fact that he knows all of the loopholes that can be exploited in the game.

Whether they win or lose, they can expect an existing performance from Max.

No, that was Delphi.

Sadly, no.

The Malfoys make a point to avoid letting her and Max in the same room, because of something that Alistair did to her father. (In pure irony though, they only avoided a case of love at first sight from Delphi.)

It's kind of explained why once he stays there for a while.

Obrigado pelo capítulo incrível Autor-San!

De nada, espero que tenha um bom dia.

YO! CAN WE GET A PREVIEW WITH FLEUR? I WANNA SEE HOW THEIR DYNAMIC WILL PLAY OUT.

ACTUALLY, ONE WITH BOTH DELACOUR SISTERS PRESENT WOULD BE PREFERABLE!

Sure:

{

"Max?" Sadly, his moment of peace was interrupted by a familiar voice. " What are you doéng on lé floair?"

"Hi, Gabby ." The one who just entered the room was Gabrielle, still wearing her nightgown. "What are you doing up here?" He asked.

"You wairén't een yur ruhm, zo evairyone got wairried and startéd to look fair you." She spoke in her strong french accent as she approached him. " Whaire waire you?" The Quarter-Veela asked before kneeling down and gently touching his face.

"I couldn't sleep, so I went to the rooftop to watch the stars and ended up falling asleep." He explained, it ended up being quite a peaceful sleep despite the location.

"But... Why are you on le floair?" Gabby asked as she caressed his head.

"I... Fell when I entered through the window." Max explained to the girl, as he opened his eyes and realized that he didn't know which room he was in. Bloody Hell, I'm still not used to Uncle Sirius's home.

"Are you 'urt?" She asked in concern as she inspected him for injuries.

"No..." Maxwell responded lazily as he smiled at Gabby as she kept caressing his head gently.

"Gabrielle, did you..." Suddenly, they heard another voice. "Maxwéll." It was none other than Fleur. "Où était-il?" She asked Gabrielle something in french as she entered the room to check on the two.

"Il ne pouvait pas dormir, alors il est allé sur le toit pour regarder les étoiles et s'y est endormi." Gabby replied to her sister in french as Fleur got close to them.

Wow... That was Maxwell's opinion on Fleur's outfit at the moment. The french beauty was wearing a baby blue negligee that fully highlighted every single aspect of her attractive figure, but what stood out the most, was her really lovely legs. Is that what you wear every night? He asked himself as it was the first time he saw her in nightwear.

"Mais pourquoi est-il par terre?" Fleur asked Gabrielle in french as she also kneeled down. Yes... Allowing Maxwell to take a better look at her as she did.

"Il est tombé en entrant par la fenêtre." Gabby responded, whatever the question was since Maxwell couldn't understand a word of what they were saying.

"Pauvre chose." But whatever it was, it led the floor to actually lift Maxwell's head off the floor, before she positioned herself and placed his head on her lap.

YES! Despite being completely clueless about their conversation, it ended up leading towards something great happening. Fleur's lap was unbelievably soft and she gave him a very sweet smile afterwards. She smells so nice... Fleur had a very strange but really pleasant smell, but he doesn't know if it's her natural smell or some type of perfume that she puts on.

"Pas juste!" Gabby, however, didn't seem to like what was going on. "Je voulais faire ça!" She yelled at her sister.

"Alors pourquoi ne l'as-tu pas fait?" Fleur asked her sister after moving her head to look at her, not noticing that Maxwell was actually staring at her chest as she did. "Parce que tu semblais content de le laisser allongé sur le sol froid."

"Parce que je l'ai trouvé peu de temps avant votre arrivée!" Gabrielle seemed a little upset over whatever they were discussing.

"Alors vous n'avez pas de chance." Whatever Fleur said in response, made her sister frown in anger.

"Girls," Maxwell decided that he had enough. "No offense but... could you two speak english?" He requested since he is pretty certain that the conversation is about him in some way.

"Oh, my seestair is mad because she wanted to put your head on her lap." Fleur explained to him.

"Fleur?!" Gabrielle immediately blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh..." Maxwell understood. Then he opened both of his arms widely. "Would you settle for a hug?"

It took less than a second for Maxwell to get his answer, because Gabrielle wasted no time in launching herself into his arms for a very tight embrace. She's so adorable. Maxwell thought as he held the quarter-veela tightly in his embrace as she rubs her cheek on his chest. Fleur giggled and gave him a sweet smile in response to his gesture as she gently touched his face with her delicate hands. The three of them stayed like that for a minute. Until.

"Seriously?" Suddenly , they're little moment was interrupted by the voice of someone on the door. Maxwell moved his head up from Fleur's lap a bit to see who it was and it turned out to be his uncle James.

"Morning, uncle James?" Maxwell wasted no time in greeting him before placing his head back on Fleur's lap while still holding Gabby in his embrace.

"Everyone is looking everywhere for you while you're here being pampered by two girls." His uncle James spoke, but the tone of his voice didn't seem to be apprehensive. "Padfoot will be proud." He gave him a thumbs up. "Though, Moony will really be angry that you made him so worried."

"I'll apologize to uncle Remus later." He promised. But then he heard some more steps approaching and once again, he lifted his head up to see who it was, only to see that it was Kreacher carrying a tray with a plate on top of it.

"Lord Peverell." The House Elf bowed to him. "Would you like to have your breakfast here or on the table?" He asked him.

"Here, please." Maxwell spoke since he didn't want to move at the moment.

"Why are you so nice to him and his friends but a complete wanker to me, Sirius and Remus?" His uncle James asked the House Elf of House of Black.

Krecher didn't even respond to him, he just moved his head and scowled at him. With James responding by doing the exact same. Krecher then moved and placed the tray on the floor in front of him. Maxwell could see that it had a plate that contained: two sausages, three rashers of bacon, two flat mushrooms, two ripe tomatoes, one thick slice of black pudding, one large egg, one slice of bread. "Thank you very much." Maxwell thanked him.
