humphrey found himself sitting in a beautifull field with tall grass , lusciuos purple flowers and the dirt underneath his paws was soft yet dry , its warm but not too hot and the clouds linger above in a crisp blue sky.
humphrey could feel the warm rays of sunlight beaming down onto his fur lost in the tranquility of it all ,he had forgotten the events that just transpiried.
while walking deeper into the field he could hear multiple voices, as he got closer he mad out the figure of a wolf.
he soon reconized the voice as ….his mothers with a tear in his eye humphrey ran to her and embraced her in a tight hug.
After almos five minutes of silent hugging humphrey finnialy spoke in a shakey voice ''so m.. mm…mo…mom this . is the end huh? im so happy to finnialy be with you again.

Mother spoke back to him sofly ''look sweetheart me and your dad have always watched over you from here and we missed you more than you will ever know but this is not the end for you , there is a choice you must make you can stay here with me and your father or the big man is offering you a second chance for you selfless sacrafice you gave your life for another to protect the innocent , do you want to go back and have another chance?''.
humphrey stared at his mother with a blank expressin for a long while before he replied ''well mother there is nothing left for me to do down there i lost everything ive ever had why go back? ust to be a misserable love wolf ?''.
humphreys mother spoke again in a firey tone ''NOW LOOK HERE SON you are amazing and you dont realize how many youve helped over the years thats part of the reason you are getting this once in a life time offer to go back, and me and your dad will be here wating on you but did you forger about grace or kate and your buddys shakey , salty , and mooch ? they all need you….. look im not going to make you go back all im saying is if i was offerd the same thing i would of went back to you. just like you should return to grace. your both alike you know … she lost evrything too then she found you.''
humphrey had tears in his eyes looking at his mom when he blurted out '' i want to go back! , i love you mom and your right it would be foolish to not go back but i just miss you and dad soo much im sorry if i dissapointed you.''
humphreys mom hugged him tight and whisperd to him ''son i have always been proud of you and always will be i love you more than words can express, and maby next time we will have more time to catch up , i love you son.''
With that before humphrey could get a word out it went dark and all humphrey could feel is pain all over his body.
