humphrey walked over to kate with a look if indifference , in a flat tone he spoke "What are you doing here? what do you want now? i gave you all i had…. WHAT that not enough for you! grrrr….the you run home to marry some meat head and dont even have the common courtesy to tell me, hey by the way fuck you im marrying some wolf i never met!…..look what ever you came to tell me i dont want to hear it you got what you wanted, now why dont you scurry home befor barff gets worried.''
with those words said humphrey turned to walk off after a few steps he made it back to grace who looked shocked at how heartless humphrey had acted rwoard the wolf that had saved him meer minutes ago. humphrey gestuted for grace to come with hin as he was walking away when grace to another glance at kate who was in a disstraught state.
grace ran up to humphrey and stood in front of im to block his path and spoke it um a nervous tone '' Please … please at least hear what she has to say she did save you from that wolf and if you were that heartless you would of never saved me… i dont know why you are angry but angry makes you do something you feel bad about later…'' with her little speach over grace looked at the groung feeling scared with a small tear in her eye, that she might of made the only wolf the cares about her hate her.
with a deep breath humphrey tried to calm himself….with a blank gaze he looked a grace and realized his anger upset grace and hurt kate really bad too, looking at grace he could see the little tears bulding in her soft eyes , it borke his heat knowing he mad her cry.
once humphrey was able to get his thoughts in order he lifted hre head to face him and wiped away her tears ans spoke in a soft fatherly tone ''grace sweetheart im so so soo sorry i upset you i should of not been rash like i was , and i know you might think im mad at you for speaking up like that but im actualy proud of you i needed that…. thank you.'
with is words spoke humphrey embraced her into a gentle hug.
once humphrey was done hugging grace he took another deep breath to try and stay calm as he walked back to where kate lay sobbing.
when humphrey was a meere three feet away he spoke up to get kates attention. ''Hey i want to say im sorry even if im heartbroken i should not have treated you like that it, please tell me was it was you traveld so far to say.''
kate heard humphrey speak to her but wonderd why the change in heart to suddenly speak to her.
with shakey breathing and a quivering hurt voice she spoke '' i came to tell you that im sorry for not telling you about the arranged marrage with garth i was just following my duties, and on our adventure i did fall in love with you but i was scared if we went to war for not marrying garth there was a chance you could get hurt or die so i though i was doing the best thing to protect you but i realized i only hurt you beyond words and at the cerimony i backed out and confessed that i loved another and after that lilly said she loved garth so they married and there i was in love and alone beacouse i ran off the one i love. then i told my mom i love you and with that i came looking for you to tell you i love you more than anything and i want to be with you forever and if you still hate me then i understand i dont deserve a second chance after i destro…''.
Before kate could finnish her apology humphrey realized yes she hurt him but he was still in love and with his ming made up,
humphrey leand in and kissed kate on the lips gently cutting off her apology in the process.
kate opend her eyes wide in shock but then closed the to enjoy the tender kiss from her love.
once humphrey broke the kiss he spoke ''kate i love you too with all my heart, and i have since we were pups i was in love with you i was just too scared to tell you untill we were wolfnapped and relocated to idaho.''
grace was sitting a few feet away quietly listening with a content smile it filled her with joy to see her new dad happy and no longer heart broken.
