humphrey was sitting in silence next to kate and grace waiting on the train to get there when he could feel the vibrations in the rails he was sitting on indicating the train was getting close.
humphrey— kate , grace the train is comming get ready to jump on we only got one shot at this lets make it count.
kate— ok im ready to do this but what about grace ?
humphrey—- i got her, grace go ahead and hop on my back ill get us on to the train.
without a word grace crawled onto humphreys back and clung to him tightly so she would not fall.
the train approaching quickly caught thier attention , as it started to pass by the wolves humphrey spotted an open train car.
humphrey— there it is everyone get ready to jump on… on three we go… one ….two ….. three.
with the count down the wolves took off running next to the car first up was kate the ran next to the cart and with a long leap she landed in the open train car. now it is humphrey and grace turn with burning lesg humphrey kept running next to the car with a exprassed grunt he lept up and onto the train car but upon landing he tumbled over and landed roughly on his front right paw causing humphrey to grunt in pain
humphrey—- grrr damm that hurt ….grace are you ok? i know the landing was rough, sorry about that.
grace— im ok dad , just a little sore from the landing.
kate—-im glad yall are ok i was worried for a second there.
humphrey—-yeah deffinitly was not the most glorious landing but we all made it on now we just wait….should not take too long to get to jasper maby a couple of hours i suggest we get some rest so when we get there we are ready to roll with it again.
humphrey walked aroung the train car looking for a comfy spot to rest while waiting to arrive to jasper park finnialy he decided in a spot by some loose hay in the corner.
with a loud yawn humphrey lays down with his eyes closed he could feel something rub against him looking up he could see grace snuggling next to humphrey laying her head on his side and promptly fell asleep.
looking around humphrey could see kate laying alon in the middle area looking sad, so humphrey had an idea so he spoke
humphrey—hey kate is a bit chilly out why dont you come over here and lay cuddle up with me and grace its nicwe and warm.
kate—oh … um …yeah…ok sounds nice
kate walked over to humphrey and cuddled up to his left side opposite of grace laying her head next to humphreys
the three wolves lay there enjoying the warmth.
humphrey was still awake looking at grace and kate snuggled next to him it was like a really amazing lucid dream that he wanted to last forever
A/N sorry for the short chapter / lack of detail i havent been able to spend as much time as id like making this chapter as ive been working 16hrs a day for the last five days but i still wanted to give yall something the next chapter will be better!
