Before we get into this chapter, I just want to flag something up: When I said I got 'a few questions,' I meant two. I left this story dormant for the last year because I was hoping more people would ask questions while I was working on my one-shots, but nothing came in. So I'm going to be borrowing some questions from character-ask blogs on Tumblr, truth or dare fanfics, as well as making some up on my own. Don't worry, it was mostly that last one.

"What's up, bitches?!" Natsuki cried as she and the rest of her club sat in a line in their clubroom. "It's ya girl, Buffsuki69, and today I'm joined by Yuri…"

"Welcome." Yuri nodded.

"Sayori…"

"Hallo!" Sayori waved.

"And the ugly duckling!"

"Always a pleasure to be here." Monika grumbled.

"As we said in the last DDLC video, you guys have been asking a lot of questions about us." Natsuki said. "Too many questions…" She gave the camera a scowl as the room darkened, her face illuminated by a light below her before she put her pleasant smile back on. "So we're putting the main playthrough on pause to answer some of them for you all."

"Well, let's get to it." Yuri said as she pulled out a clipboard. "We've got a few to work through."

Do you all have houses? We hear about your home lives in DDLC, but we never see where you all live.

"Yes, we all have our own houses." Monika said. "I programmed them up for everyone a bit after we settled into our new arrangement. Though they're all just copy-pastes of MC's house due to limited resources."

"I think you mean you all have houses." Natsuki said. "I've been crashing at Sayori's house since the playthrough started."

"She's a real cuddle bug." Sayori chuckled.

What made you decide to play DDLC?

"Views." The club said in unison.

Do you actually remember EVERYTHING of the game or just the parts they were there for?

"A little of column A, a little of column B." Natsuki said as she shook her hand.

"We all remember the first act of the game crystal clear." Sayori explained. "The second act is blurry for me since I wasn't there for it."

"Act Two was like a vivid dream for Natsuki and I." Yuri said. "Like someone else had taken control of us and was parading our bodies around like puppets. It was like we were asleep and wide awake at the exact same moment. Most of it isn't clear, but there are these moments that we just wish we could forget."

"… I remember the entire thing." Monika admitted.

"Lucky you." Natsuki grumbled.

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

"Yes." Natsuki nodded.
"No." Yuri answered.
"Maybe." Monika shrugged.
"I like turtles." Sayori said.

Natsuki, as the only lesbian here, who would you marry, kiss, and kill in your club?

"Well, Monika would be kill, that's a no-brainer." Natsuki nodded.

"I love you too, Natsuki." Monika grumbled.

"As for the other two…" Natsuki mumbled, massaging her chin as she glanced between Sayori and Yuri. "I think I'd marry… Sayori. We'd make each other way happier than anyone else in the club. Plus, I'm already living with her, so… And me and Yuri could just have a quick kiss and never speak of it again."

"But Monika's the only other person here interested in girls." Yuri noted. "Wouldn't she be your only option for two out of three of these?"

"Well, what am I supposed to do then?" Natsuki asked.

"Oh oh, I know! I know!" Sayori said as she waved her hand in the air. "You kiss Monika, then you marry Monika, then you kill her for the inheritance!"

"… That works!" Natsuki chuckled.

Any hobbies outside of literature?

"I bake and do Youtube Let's Plays." Natsuki said.

"Piano, with a touch of coding on the side." Monika said. "But you all probably know that already."

"I've been working on my artistic abilities." Yuri explained. "I've been practicing Bob Ross oil painting."

"I sleep." Sayori said with a grin.

"I'm not sure if that-"
"It totally counts, Monika." Natsuki interrupted.

Any Resolutions for the New Year?

"Sleep more." Sayori grinned.

"Grow my channel." Natsuki said.

"I haven't really put much thought into it." Yuri admitted.

"Make better friends." Monika sighed.

What do you guys do for Christmas? Any special traditions?

"Lock the wine cabinet." Monika, Sayori, and Yuri all said in dull, tired tones.
"Pick the lock on the wine cabinet." Natsuki said proudly.

"Aside from that, we don't really do anything special." Yuri said.

"We used to go to these Christmas parties with the other horror games on the computer we're on." Sayori said. "But they stopped inviting us a few years ago."

"Uh, yeah…" Monika said as she looked away from the group. "They stopped inviting all of us to the Christmas parties. Yeah, that's what happened."

Are you a Vtuber?

The four girls blinked silently at the camera.

What's a perfect date for any one of you?

"Weekends work well for us." Sayori shrugged.

"I'd say April 1st." Natsuki answered.

"That would be my birthday." Yuri said.

"I don't think that's what they meant." Monika stated.

What's Natsuki's ideal girl?

"Well, first of all, they need to be tall." Natsuki said. "Like, a full head taller than me. Like Yuri."

"I'm already uncomfortable." Yuri commented.

"But they also need to be fun to be around." Natsuki continued. "I want someone with high spirits who can pull me up, and definitely someone who can make me laugh. Like Sayori."

The ginger girl blushed as Natsuki counted off her third finger. "But they also need to be willing to bite back at any of my snarks. Kinda like Monika."

"Um, Natsuki," Monika began. "This is starting to get awkward."

"Oh, and they need DDs and an ass I can use as a pillow." Natsuki said.

Don't you all think your being a little hard on Monika?

"She! Murdered! Us!" Natsuki and Yuri both yelled.

"… I don't know…" Sayori mumbled. "I mean, she seems really upset about what she did, and she's been pretty nice since we came back. Plus, that was awhile ago. I don't want to just keep stewing on that for the rest of my life. So... Yeah, I think I'm at a point where I'm ready to forgive her."

"Ah, Sayori…" Monika said as she pulled the ginger girl into a hug.

"Well, that makes one of us." Natsuki said.

"I agree with Natsuki." Yuri stated. "I don't think I can ever forgive Monika for what she's done to us."

What are your favorite foods?

"Pretty much anything Natsuki makes." Sayori answered. "Which is good, because ever since she moved in, she's been handling all the cooking."

"That's only because I don't trust you in the kitchen." Natsuki said. "You almost burnt the house down when you tried to make a glass of water."

"Hey, that wasn't my fault!"

"As for me, I mostly do baked goods." Natsuki answered. "Donuts, cakes, breads, stuff like that."

"Veggie burgers." Monika stated. "I especially love this eggplant burger recipe I found."

"… I eat a…" Yuri began, turning away from the camera. "Large amount of fast food."

Favorite Music?

"I'm a big fan of music youtubers." Natsuki said. "Mostly Natewantstobattle, Stupendium, DA Games, and JT Music."

"As am I." Yuri added. "Me and Natsuki actually have a karaoke night every week."

"The only thing worse than those two arguing is those two getting along." Monika sighed. "As for me, I've been really interested in rap music for a while now."

"Death metal screamo." Sayori stated.

What's your favorite TV show/anime?

"Ms. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid." Natsuki said.

"I very much enjoyed Generator Rex and Code Lyoko." Yuri answered. "Anything narrative-driven will get my attention."

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Sayori said. "My favorite is Rise."

"… I don't watch a lot of television." Monika stated.

What happened to MC?
Can we have MC just appear later in the lets play tho?

What's MC like?
MC should be in this thing at some point.

"Well, here he is!" Natsuki proclaimed as she gestured to the blank-faced figure suddenly standing in the middle of the room. "MC in his lack of glory!"

MC stood still as the camera began to zoom in on his absent face, a distorted thump playing over the scene. He didn't move an inch, merely standing there as still as a statue as the lighting began to dim. The video continued to grow darker and darker around the character until MC's blank features were the only thing left to see.

"Okay, so most of you are probably wondering why MC wasn't with us at the beginning." Monika said as the video cut back to its usual quality. "The answer for that is a bit technical: You see, while we each have our own character file meant to give us our own unique personality and backstory, MC doesn't. Technically speaking, he's completely bound to the script, so the game itself practically is his character file. This is great for allowing the player to experience the story, not so much for allowing MC to experience the story."

"Basically, he's the window that lets you see everything going on." Sayori said.

"He's just a camera man." Yuri added.

"Now, I know what you're thinking," Monika began. "'But Monika, Sayori said that he had body pillows and figurines that we don't see when Yuri visits, how do you explain that?'" Monika then gave the camera a shrug, punctuated by a nervous expression. "We don't know, and we're honestly too scared to ask."

"You know, I'm starting to see why everyone wanted him in these videos." Natsuki said as she began rocking the male character by the shoulders. "It'd be comedy gold if we stuck him in the background of all our videos from now on!"

Do you girls have any friends outside the club?

"We hang out with some of the other video game characters from time to time." Yuri stated. "Though they'd need to be on the PC first, so unless the user has those games, we can't interact."

"We've gotten pretty close to the girls from Hate Plus." Sayori said. "*Hyun-ae sometimes helps us with science homework."

"She is so hot." Natsuki remarked.

Since this is a literature club, what are your favorite books?

"You guys have already heard me talk about Parfait Girls." Natsuki shrugged. "But if you don't consider that a real book because you're a pleb, I guess I'd go with Dork Diaries."

"I am currently reading 'Land of Milk and Honey' by C Pam Zhang." Yuri explained. "It's quite an interesting read."

"I mostly read fanfics." Sayori admitted.

"Me too." Monika said. "I love reading the stories you all write about me."

At 9:00 A.M. two trains leave from towns that are 200 miles apart and head toward each other. One train travels at a constant 48 mph while the other travels at a constant 52 mph. At what time do the trains meet?

"The trains meet a second before they crash into each other and explode." Natsuki answered.

Does Yuri get scare by horror stories or has she built up a resistance to it?

"Of course, horror stories scare me." Yuri affirmed. "That's why I like them. Horror that doesn't make you scream is like comedy that doesn't make you laugh."

Have you ever considered leaving for another game?

"If I ever retire from YouTube, I'm moving into Minecraft." Natsuki stated. "… Assuming the user ever gets it."

"Sometimes I take walks through the open world games." Monika said. "It's a nice way to clear my head… Before someone tries to shoot it, that is. I'll also sometimes browse the Guertena Art Gallery."

"If I ever get stressed, I always go to Slime Rancher for a bit." Sayori said. "Those little guys are just so cuddly!"

"I'm a touch nervous about leaving the game permanently." Yuri admitted. "I would hate to find out we're operating on the same rules as Wreck-It Ralph."

Do you guys have any pets?

"No, the game's script doesn't support animals." Monika explained.

"… Then how does a squirrel keep stealing my cookies? Sayori asked.

How do I ask a question?

"You leave a comment asking us something." Natsuki explained.

Who are your favorite club members?

"I really like hanging out with Sayori." Natsuki said. "She always find a way to brighten up my day, even if she's not trying to."

"I like how Yuri's so smart and calm." Sayori said. "She's like everything I want to be."

"I've grown a greater appreciation for Natsuki since the club reformed." Yuri explained. "I admire how passionate she can get about her interests and how willing she is to defend herself."

"… I think Monika's kinda cool." Monika mumbled.

What Dere does Natsuki prefer?

"It's a tie between kuuderes and derederes." Natsuki explained. "Both of them can be the type of girl I'd want. And I now they're popular, but yanderes just freak me out."

"It's like she's speaking a different language." Yuri stated.

Do a flip.

Natsuki stood on the edge of the desk, arms spread for balance before she crouched down. Shooting back up, Natsuki jumped off the table, backflipping out before her feet met the ground and her arms spread. She then turned to the camera and gave it a thumbs up.

"Only took three tries to get the program right!" Monika announced.

Will you be playing Doki Doki Literature Club Plus?

Natsuki threw her chair at the camera.
