Sage of the Fairies Chapter 2: Naruto meets Fairy Tail
Naruto, Kushina, and Minato were walking out to the guildhall to meet with everyone as they would have questions about their son with where he came from and how they didn't know that they had a son. Minato and Kushina were nervous about how it would go as it would change things between them along with knowing that they have a son now.
"You ready son? There will be a lot of questions regarding us now with you coming here." Minato said with a nervous smile.
"As good as I'll ever be dad. It'll be a lot to explain of course with where I've been all this time, how I got here, and why now." Naruto said with a sad expression remembering everything that had happened and how everyone important to him was gone, especially his fiancés.
The three walked into the lobby where everyone was drinking and fighting. The first one to notice them was Mira and Makarov who were surprised to see Naruto already up and healed up mostly.
"Hey Minato! Kushina!" Makarov called out stopping what everyone was doing to look over at them and were surprised that Naruto was looking much better already and looked nearly healed completely.
"Hey Master Makarov. We'd like to introduce our son Naruto and I know you all have questions regarding him and everything will be explained." Minato told everyone.
"Where has he been all this time?" Erza asked.
"Is he strong? He doesn't look like much." The pink haired teen asked while looking at the heir who's eye twitched at being passed off as nothing. He was something, damn it!
"How'd he get here?" Levy asked, as she was intrigued with the seal that showed when he arrived.
"Why was he covered in those injuries when he got here?" Mira asked worried for the blond something that Cana noticed and smirked at.
"Everything will be explained as for your question Erza, it's simple. He's been in a different dimension this whole time and it was called The Elemental Nations where we used to reside until certain events happened." Minato said with a sigh, already feeling a headache coming along.
"Uhh Minato, are you crazy or something? That's insane, but what separated you guys is if what you're saying is true." Macao said thinking that he was crazy, but was curious nonetheless.
"What Minato-kun says is true and how we got here was, the Shinigami sent us here after we died. Gramps can even vouch for us as. What we use isn't called magic, but something else called Chakra." Kushina said, flinching remembering the Kyuubi attack and how they had almost died.
"You died!?" Erza shouted along with everyone else thinking the same thing. There was murmuring going around the guild wondering what or who could've killed two people like them. Mira, Erza, Lisanna, and Cana couldn't believe that they had been killed at some point and now something happened to their son bringing him here.
"What's Chakra?" Gray asked, intrigued at the power that they used.
"Chakra is similar to magic, but a little different. You see instead of spells, we use what are called jutsus to do things. My chains that you've seen me use are made out of chakra entirely and not magic. I don't use them often or very long so no one can catch on to the difference, but there's no need to do that anymore." She explained glad that she didn't have to hide or lie to them anymore, having hated to do that to her family.
"But it doesn't explain why your son was covered in blood like he was. What could've happened to him for that to happen?" Mira voiced her questions in concern making others think the same except for a few who had an idea, but didn't want to be right.
"One simple word for that, Mira-san. War." Naruto answered, getting gasps from multiple people with Makarov cursing for being right.
"War?" Mira asked, covering her mouth with her hand and her eyes widening.
"Yes. It'll take a while to explain so get comfortable. I'll do my best to explain everything so it'll make sense." Naruto said as he began telling his story.
Naruto went on to explain how the leader of the group started a war with the purpose of catching people that hosted Biju which were beings made entirely of Chakra against the five great nations. At first things were going well and we were making progress in ending it rather quickly until he was able to revive Madara Uchiha, who was a legend as everybody knew who he was and how powerful he was during his lifetime. With him brought back to life the tides changed really quickly as only one person could stop him until now that he now had the power of several Biju under his control thanks to the statue.
He went to tell how it went on for two years into the war with the masked man and Madara. Nothing had managed to work against them. Having managed to capture 6 of them at one point and would've had all, but eight of them if Naruto hadn't been able to interrupt the sealing and reverse it, but instead of going back into his fiancé's like he had hoped, they instead went into him. Things hadn't looked good for them. Eliminating the villages starting with the Mist with them being the weakest of the five. The Sand was next, then Lightning, stone, and lastly Leaf. No one stood a chance against them. Even with him and Kurama synced and working together with Sasuke we were no match for them. They had killed off everyone he knew and loved. Tsunade, Kakashi, Gaara, Killer Bee, his brothers, sisters, and lastly his fiancés Yugito Nii and Fu. When Naruto learned this, he cried for hours and destroyed the base that they had before returning with their bodies to at least bury them with the others feeling sorry for him with the women crying hearing in his voice how much he loved them. The guys were angry for what he had to go through, especially Makarov who wanted to find this Obito and destroy him for the pain he put them through.
By the end of his explanation no one knew what to say or do. Everyone was in tears of what he went through and even worse his fiancés dying as well as that would break anyone. It just showed how much strength he really had to keep going despite everything and everyone being gone.
"Pathetic. To run away when you could've kept fighting shows how weak you are." A voice said.
Everyone looked over to see a tall blond who was 6'2, he had spiky hair and a scar over his right eye. He had what looked like headphones over his ears.
"Laxus! That was uncalled for!" Makarov shouted angrily for his harsh words.
He ignored him. "If your fiancés had been killed, then they must've been weak like you and weak people shouldn't be here. They deserved to die if they couldn't protect themselves." He smirked seeing the glares from everyone.
All of a sudden the room dropped in temperature rapidly and people were having a hard time breathing. Everyone looked around to see where it was coming from and they could see Naruto growling at the man with him sending out his KI even Laxus was sweating a little, but kept his smirk up.
"How dare you. You wouldn't have lasted a minute against those monsters. To call me weak I can stand by, but if you think for one second I'm going to do nothing for insulting them. I'll make you pay for it and make everything you've been through look like a summer camp. You're nothing compared to them, Fu, or Yugito." Naruto said as his glare intensified at the man.
Laxus's smirk changed to a sneer at being called weak. "That's some talk coming from someone who ran away and let everyone die." Laxus said with a laugh that angered everyone, especially him and his parents who were all scowling at the scarred blonde.
"Laxus, that's too fa-" Makarov said, when he saw what happened, shocking him.
In the next moment, Naruto appeared in front of Laxus and grabbed his face before slamming it into the ground with enough force he created a crater in the hall with his face in the ground. He noticed that Laxus was knocked out and let him go as everyone watched him not get up.
"Never say that again to me or else I'll do worse than just knock you down." Naruto growled and took a deep breath before leaving the guildhall, leaving the unconscious blonde and everyone else.
"What a little bitch." Cana said about what Laxus said, not even bothered that Naruto knocked him out.
"That was uncalled for and inappropriate. How could he say something like that?" Erza questioned in anger.
Mira didn't say anything, but her KI was being released, making others who were near her stepping away knowing how much of a she-devil she could be.
Makarov went to his grandson with a sigh. "I hope this will teach you some humility in the future, Laxus. I've failed you though." He said sadly as he grew in size and picked up his grandson lifting him over his shoulder to carry him to the infirmary.
"Wow. To think Laxus would be defeated so easily, but brutally too." Elfman said with them nodding in agreement.
"He's strong. I want to fight him!" Natsu shouted, igniting his fists grinning.
"Are you crazy charcoal breath?! You'll be beaten without him breaking a sweat." Gray said.
"Shut up, stripper! I'll just have to train harder to beat him." Natsu said in excitement.
"You'll have to train for a hundred years if you want to even scratch him hothead!" Gray said as they butted heads glaring at each other.
"Boys!" Erza growled, getting their attention.
"Sorry Erza, we'll behave!" They said in unison as they wrapped an arm around each other's shoulder smiling awkwardly.
"I'm sure he'll be fine with time. Let's just see what happens from here on." Levy said, trying to lift everyone's spirits as she kind of thought it was hot for how he handled Laxus like he did, making her blush a little.
Mira didn't say anything as she left to go find Naruto to try to cheer him up and check on him to make sure he was alright.
"Where's Mira going?" Erza asked.
"It's not like her to be quiet like this, whatever is on her mind, leave her be since I have an idea. Don't worry about it though." Kushina said with a small smile.
"I'll go with her too." Cana said, following after the barmaid getting confused looks from everyone except Kushina who was smiling wider and Minato sighing with a smile.
"He'll be looked after with those girls helping him." Minato said, not worried about his son knowing he'll have friends to help him even if they just met.
"You got that right, but we should head back in ourselves." Kushina said as everyone else went back inside.
"Never thought I'd see it when Laxus would be beaten, nor was I expecting it to be a one-shot." Natsu said, wincing at how that must've felt.
"Yeah, but you can't blame him for what happened with Laxus talking shit about his fiancés like that. Personally I think it was justified and got what was coming to him." Erza said, surprising everyone.
"Isn't that a little harsh?" Lisanna asked, though everyone could tell that she didn't care.
"Not at all. I mean he talked badly of the dead and despite what he did to him, Naruto went easy on him from the brief glimpse into his power, from what I could sense, he used maybe 20% percent of his full power." Erza said, shocking them.
"So we have a monster like Gildarts huh?" Gray asked, sighing.
"Maybe, but at least he has control over his power unlike Gildarts does huh?" Natsu asked, trying to lift everyone's spirits with it working making everyone chuckle.
"That's true. I do wonder how Naruto is doing right now though. Can't even imagine how he must be feeling right now." Gray frowned.
"Yeah. If what he said was true, then Madara was beyond a monster along with Obito. I still can't believe that he was one of Minato's students. I wonder what happened for him to go through with the things he did." Erza said.
"We won't know and I'm glad that they can't get here. For now let's not worry about this for now. I need a drink." Cana said, making everyone sigh and chuckle at the last comment.
Mira and Cana
"I wonder where he is, he doesn't have many places to go right?" Mira asked.
"We'll find him. He's still somewhat hurt, so he won't go too far." Cana said, getting a nod from her.
"Despite how everything had gone, it was kind of hot seeing Laxus getting beat the crap out of." Mira said with the brunette giving her looks of disbelief, but couldn't refute her words knowing how true it was. She shook her head to clear those kind of thoughts. Now wasn't the time to think about that though.
They kept walking when they heard some shouting that was Naruto, but couldn't tell where exactly, so they followed the voice until they came upon a clearing where Naruto was fighting what looked like a clone of himself as he was staring down at it.
"Alright. Are you ready for this?" Naruto asked his clone.
"Ready boss." The clone answered.
"Naruto went through hand signs before shouting.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!"
Nearby in a lake it moves in waves as a dragon forms and it roars at shooting towards the clone as it went through its own hand signs.
"Earth Style: Earth Wall!"
The water dragon rushed at the clone as it crashed into the wall, but Naruto pushed more chakra into the attack, cracking the wall until it cracked again before long it was destroyed, hitting the clone immediately making it dispel.
"Amazing. To think he has control over two elements with such skill." Mira said in awe.
"He's incredible, that's for sure." Cana said agreeing with the letter mage.
"Damn, I wonder what else he can do and how he was able to master two elements at his age?" Mira couldn't help, but ask wanting to fight him herself and see what else he's capable of.
"And that's just a small taste of what I can do with the elements. I can do more than just earth and water." Naruto informed them, snapping them out of their stupors.
"Sorry. We just wanted to check on you to see how you were doing. I also want to apologize for Laxus's words against you. He was way out of line and I hope you know that not everyone is like him." Mira said with frown on her face.
"I know. There's no need to be sorry." He said waving them off with a smile at them.
"Are you sure? I mean, you seemed like you needed time to yourself after what happened. You can talk to us if you want." Cana offered a smile that Mira followed with her own, making him sigh.
"Yeah, it was out of line what he said to you and it was an awful thing of him to say to you. Not everyone is like him and would never talk about the dead like that." Mira said remembering the horrible words
"I'm okay. I got what I needed out of my system, but he wasn't wrong about me. I am weak since I couldn't save them or anyone for that matter. Yugito and Fu were my everything and knowing I couldn't save them, it felt like my whole world crashed down. They both had my entire being and heart." He smiled, tearing up thinking about them until he started couldn't help crying again.
Mira and Cana teared up as well at the heartfelt words. It showed how much he loved them and how much he was hurting from their deaths. They went to hug him as he broke down crying for what felt like the hundredth time.
"I still can't believe they and everyone else are all gone! Why couldn't I be strong enough to beat them? They didn't deserve it!" He sobbed out in anger, frustration, and self-loathing.
"Shh. It'll be okay Naruto-san. They know you did everything you could right?" Mira asked as he didn't say or do anything, but stayed where he was. They just comforted him as they continued to hold onto him.
"Then you don't have to worry about thinking about these things, when you know you did everything you could. They'd also want you to live on rather than you beating yourself over it." Cana said, wanting to cheer him up.
"We'll be here to help get you back on your feet. We are guildmates after all and we look after each other." Mira said, wiping away his tears with her thumb making him show a small smile to them.
"I'm sorry for you three having to see me like this. I will do my best to live for their sake. We should head back to the guild as it's getting late and I don't have a place to stay at hehehe." Naruto chuckled thinking about the last part.
"Didn't your parents offer you a place there? I mean you can't afford your own apartment or house for the time being." Cana pointed out making Naruto sigh with the girls giggling.
"Yeah they did, but I don't want to depend on them with this. I've been living on my own my whole life, so living with them would be odd for me." Naruto explained.
"You don't need to be doing that anymore though. You have family and friends here with you. You don't really have a choice though, since you don't have money." Mira said with Levy agreeing.
"You won't stop until I accept it will you?" He asked, already knowing the answer.
"Nope!" They said at the same time with grins knowing that they had won.
He sighed at the two women in front of him. "Fine. Let's just go." He grumbled as the two giggled, helping him to his feet and headed back to the guild.
One year later (x781)
Naruto had been with Fairy Tail for a year now and things had improved for him thanks to having his parents and new friends he's made. He became S-class due to his success rate and lack of damage when on missions, so the council decided to make him an official S-class mage which didn't surprise anyone, but also got a lot of whining from Natsu, Elfman, and Gray who would often challenge him to fights. His parents, Mira, Cana, Erza, Lisanna, Natsu, Gray, Elfman, and some others had helped him adjust, but it was those that helped him the most as they wanted to get to know him and to help him move on from what he experienced. A few months after he officially joined the guild, he had made another friend who had short blue hair with a orange headband that she usually wore on the top of her head. She was really smart and excelled at runes, much like he was with Fuinjutsu. It didn't take long before long she was spending quite a bit of time with him like the others.
He would hang out with the girls for hours and talk about nearly anything making the group of them great friends. He knew they were doing everything they could to help him and he was grateful for them, but had been thinking about traveling around and seeing what Earthland had to offer and what life would be like since he was strong enough without having to worry about people attacking him.
What else had happened was Makarov finally retired as the guild master and made Minato it making him the Fourth Guild Master which made Naruto and Kushina laugh with Minato sighing, but couldn't help, but chuckle at how ironic it was that he would be the as he was the Fourth Hokage at one point and now he was the Fourth Guild Master. Minato and Kushina had been spending as much time with their son getting to know him instead of just the short version, wanting to hear all about it. It made them happy that he had people looking out for him despite how it had started out with the village hating him. They'd have to tell them thanks in the next life when they saw them again.
Mira, Cana, Erza, Lisanna, and Levy had loved spending time with the blond and how he would do anything for his loved ones thinking that he represented Fairy Tail without joining it. They were able to learn many things about him with some of the things being the Tailed Beasts that he was holding, which was Matatabi, Chomei, and Kurama. They tried to help take his mind off of what had happened to his dimension and would talk for hours finding out how nice and caring of a person he was. How kind he could be as well as competitive like some of the other members could be. They would take him out to eat, jobs, anything to help him adjust.
Natsu and Gray would get him involved in brawls that would happen and fight him and it was fun to just let things go and have fun with everyone. People could see a few grins here and there coming from him.
Mira and Naruto could bond over their circumstances with how they were treated as pariahs for something that happened out of their control, but were able to overcome their struggles and make the most of their situations. They fought a lot as she would challenge him often, wanting to test herself, knowing he would be able to give her a great fight.
Lisanna was someone who would play the peacekeeper for their friends and learned that she was the opposite of Mira, who would pick fights and insult others. Lisanna would try to cheer people up and no doubt do her best to keep her sister out of trouble. One thing that he admired about her was her desire to help anyone she could and always wanted to see the best in everyone. She came to seeing Naruto as a older sibling of sorts.
Levy and Naruto would talk about runes and seals among different other types of magics or what other skills Naruto had which was all of the basic ones, but she found it fascinating how Naruto would be able to combine them to recreate what Naruto called them sub-elements. He explained how he naturally had the Wood Release that his great great grandfather had been the second person to have with the exception of Yamato since it wasn't the same with him. They also talked a lot about ruins and seals with Levy teaching him Runes and vice versa with her about seals. She helped him get a better understanding on how the magic world worked in Fiore.
Him and Cana would spend time having drinking contests which would end with him winning as a result, but he was impressed she could drink so much and not get the least bit drunk. They went on a few jobs together and she would drag him to a bar to celebrate. She had shown him her card magic and learned that she could tell fortunes and could cast spells with them which intrigued him.
Naruto and Erza bonded over training as they would spar using their skills with weapons and blades. Her magic was called Requip: The Knight that allowed her to change to different armors that would give her advantages over certain citations, such as fire, increase of speed, and others. He had learned that her favorite food was strawberry cheesecake and would eat it every chance she got, much like him with ramen.
Now we find Naruto in the guild masters office with Minato, Kushina, and Makarov as he wanted to speak with them about something.
"You wanted to speak with us, son?" Minato was curious about what his son wanted to talk to them about.
"Yeah. I want to take time to train my new powers and I can't really do that here in case I hurt someone by accident." Naruto said something shocking them , especially his parents.
"WHAT?!" Kushina shouted making everyone stop what they're doing in the guildhall looking at the office in slight fear knowing the adult redhead was upset about something.
"I can understand wanting to train your powers, but that surely can't be it. Why else are you wanting to leave?" Minato asked, narrowing his eyes at him.
Sighing he knew this wouldn't be easy. "I know how hard this is to hear, but I feel like it'll do me some good. I've been grateful for my time here, but I'm not sure I want to travel and see what out in Earthland. Please let me go. I'll keep in touch and write letters." Naruto begging them to let him go.
"What about your friends? Have you told them this yet?" Makarov asked, chuckling when he shook his head. "Well, good luck than my boy, you're going to need it." The old man laughed when he saw his face go pale at the thought.
"No I haven't. I wanted to get your permission before I told them about it." Naruto said not looking forward to that conversation.
"This'll be hard for them as they have grown attached to you son. Are you sure about this?" Minato asked with Kushina looking at him in shock.
"What are you saying Minato?! Our baby belongs here with us! I don't want him to leave again when we finally got him back." Kushina said as she teared up at the thought of her son leaving them again.
"Kushi, I think this would be good for him. This is hard for me as well, but he makes some good points. He can use this time to train in his powers without risking hurting anyone. We both know what the Mangekyou is capable of and with him having no control over them, he could hurt someone." Minato said, giving her a hug with a sad smile.
Naruto walked up to his mom and pulled her into a hug as she cried into his shoulder.
"I'm sorry mom, but this is something that I need to do. Please trust me with this. I promise to write to you and keep in touch with everyone." Naruto comforted her as he rubbed her back soothingly, getting a nod into his shoulder as she had her face in his shoulder still.
"If you're going to be doing this, I'll have missions for you to do for the guild while you're out there okay? That's the only thing I want you to do while you're away, so you can provide for yourself. Most will be A or S-class missions as you can handle them." Minato said with a smile that Naruto returned as he let Kushina go back to her seat.
"That's fine dad. I'd want to take missions as well while I'd be gone anyway. Thank you for this. I'll need to go tell everyone, and hopefully not die in the process." Naruto said, chuckling knowing how they'll react as he walked out.
"Good luck Naruto. You're going to need it brat." Makarov said grinning, looking forward to how that conversation would go and he'd be damned if he didn't get a front row seat for it.
Naruto stepped out of the office and now he had a harder task at hand now, finding his friends and telling them the news or more specifically the girls which he was dreading to do.
He spotted them talking to each other along with a few others that Naruto recognized. There was Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lisanna, Levy, Elfman, Mira, and Cana who could see were all mingling or fighting which was making him more nervous since he had become good friends with them having tempers like his mom scared him to death. No matter how much power he may have, he'd never want to experience their wrath when angry and knowing all the women are there was making him sweat much more and making him second guess himself on telling them.
He was about to leave to go pack, but someone called out to him.
"Hey Naruto! Over here!" It was Levy who saw him with a giant smile making him want to cry at his luck. It was even worse knowing that smile wouldn't be there for much longer. He cursed to himself knowing that he couldn't avoid it and would probably be best to just get it done with and tell them.
"We saw you walk out of the master's office. What did he want to talk to you about?" Mira asked, getting a sigh from him.
"It's not what he wanted to talk to me about, it's what I talked to him about along with Master Makarov and my mom." Naruto clarified getting confused looks from them.
"Okay? What did you talk to them about if it required all three of them? Is something wrong?" Cana asked curiously with the others stopping what they were doing and listen to what he'd say.
"Nothing is wrong. I have something to tell you guys though, alright?" He asked, getting nods from them. "I'm leaving tomorrow for awhile." Naruto said simply.
Quiet. That's what occurred from the table as they were looking at him with wide eyes with the girls not sure what to make of it as they showed various expressions up making him wince.
"WHAT?!" They all shouted.
"Why are you leaving?! Why?!" Levy screamed at him as she jumped over the table and started trying to hit him with Mira, Cana, Lisanna, and Erza still in shock until they snapped out of it and tried to hit him too with an angry look on her faces.
"Naruto? You're leaving the guild? How could you do that when we were getting along?!" Mira cried as she followed Levy's action.
"I'm not leaving the guild, I'm still a Fairy Tail member. It's more of a personal trip for me really. Like I told my parents, I plan to keep in touch with them and the same goes for you all. This will be a training trip as well as and I can't do that here without risk of destroying the town. You told me that lacrimas can be used for long-range communication right? I'm sure I can get some for everyone, right?" Naruto asked having a nervous expression on his face.
"You better stay in contact with us or else there will be hell to pay! You got that?!" Levy puffed her cheeks out, sticking her finger into his chest making her look even cuter.
"She's not wrong. I can understand, but you promise you'll be safe?" Mira asked, giving him a glare that told him it would be painful.
"Mira-nee is right, you better keep in touch with us. I'm expecting you to be safe Naruto-nii." Lisanna said with a sad smile.
"Of course. I promise you and the same goes for you Levy, Erza, Cana, and Mira." Naruto smiled at his closest friends who accepted and nodded to him.
"Ahh man. I won't have anyone who can put up as good of a fight as you can man." Natsu whined with Gray glaring at him for the insult.
"What was that?!" Gray shouted at his rival.
"I believe Gray is a challenge enough for you." Naruto countered.
"As if this stripper can be a challenge for me!" Natsu shouted in denial with Gray gaining a tic mark on his head.
"What was that flame spawn! You wanna go?!" Gray shouted as he punched him in the face chasing after him and starting another brawl.
"Well there goes those two. I'm surprised you two haven't said anything." Naruto said, looking at Cana and Erza.
"Oh I know." Erza said sweetly, scaring him a little when they both tackled him.
"YOU IDIOT! YOU'RE LEAVING US LIKE THAT AND YOU'RE JUST NOW TELLING US?!" They shouted as Naruto was sweating even more.
"I'm sorry?" Naruto questioned nervously, starting to sweat from their angry faces.
"Hmpf. You better come back so we can have a drink together." Cana smirked that Naruto returned as he enjoyed their contests.
"And when you get back, we'll have to spar." Erza grinned at him which made him chuckle with Mira's eye twitching.
"As if she could give you a challenge. She's not so tough." Mira said with Erza gritting her teeth at the insult when she jumped at her rival and started fighting.
"I'll be fine. I'm gonna go pack so I'll see you guys tomorrow before I leave?" Naruto asked as he stood up.
"Of course Naruto." Cana smiled at him.
"Wouldn't miss it." Levy said with her own smile.
"Goodnight everyone." Naruto said as he left the guildhall.
Once he was out of view the girls sighed heavily. They didn't want him to leave, but knew he would benefit from this emotionally, mentally, and would get even stronger.
"That idiot. Always worrying us like that." Mira said with a smile with her hands on her hips.
"That's true, but he's our idiot don't you think so?" Levy asked, smirking and shook her head.
"You two have it bad for him don't you?" Cana teased seeing them blush.
"I think it's great that he has their attention like this. He's a great guy for them. Give him some time and he'll be with you two in no time at all." Erza said grinning at their blushed faces.
"Like you two are ones to talk, I've seen the way you've looked at him, so don't even start." Lisanna teased them.
"Like you're one to talk, what about when I've caught you taking glances at Nat-" Mira's mouth was covered by her blushing sister, but she was smirking still at her.
I for one pity the guy if all of you are going after him. Bastard has no idea what he's getting himself into." Natsu said without thinking while Gray paled at the idiot and took a few steps away from him.
"Aye sir." Happy agreed like usual, not realizing the danger they were now in.
"SHUT UP!" The girls shouted, before punching the two as they crashed into the walls, with the girls huffing at their words, but still had blushes staining their cheeks..
Next Day
Naruto was at the guildhall saying goodbye for who knows how long until he would be back, but he knew he would be. He was saying his goodbyes to his parents, Cana, Erza, Natsu, Gray, Mira, and Levy.
"You know I won't be gone forever right? Like I told you two before I'll keep in touch with you. Please don't cry." Naruto sighed as he hugged each of his friends that really didn't want him to go.
"Can't blame them son. You have spent a lot of time with them, so it's only natural that they would act like this." Minato smiled at the scene.
"I know dad." Naruto said when he reached into his pouch. "Before I forget, I do have something to give you as a thank you for everything you've done for me." Naruto said as they looked at him in question, letting him go.
Naruto pulled out a few of his tri-pronged kunai's making them wonder even more what he's doing with those.
"I'm giving you each one of these incase you ever need me. I'll be there instantly." Naruto said, handing them each one as they gasped at the gifts.
They teared up again at the caring gifts and hugged him again with him returning it. They let go and kissed him on the cheek with Levy taking the left and Mira taking the right one as he smiled at them.
He walked up to Gray and Natsu with a smirk.
"Next time I'm here, we'll have to fight to see how much stronger you guys get. Don't slack off on your training." Naruto said, getting nods from them.
"Of course! I'm gonna kick your ass when you get back!" Natsu shouted pointing at him with a confident grin.
"Flame brain isn't gonna leave me behind and I'll show you." Gray said as they bumped fists.
Naruto walked up to Cana, Lisanna, and Erza next.
"Take care you two alright. Do keep them in line, especially the two boys there. You know how they can be." Naruto grinned ignoring the screw you comment from them.
"You know me. I'll always keep them in line. Otherwise no one would do it if not me or Kushina." Erza said as she hugged him.
"Be careful out there Naruto-kun, it's dangerous out there by yourself. So, don't do anything reckless and come back to us quickly when you're done with your training." Lisanna said with a smile as she hugged him with him returning it before letting go as Cana was next.
"Remember next time you're here, we'll have that drink and I'll win next time too." Cana said, hitting him in the chest lightly with a smirk.
"Of course. Take care of yourself. I'll keep you up to date on what's happening." Naruto smiled at them, as she hugged with him changing her expression to a small smile.
Lastly he walked to his parents, but was nervous seeing his mom tearing up with Minato smiling as he had an arm wrapped around her shoulder.
She launched herself at him and cried into his chest while he rubbed her back and whispered comforting words to her who was nodding.
"I'll miss you mom, but I promise to keep in touch with you and I'll be back to visit when I can." Naruto said.
She nodded as she stepped back. "You better be safe or else not even the Shinigami won't be able to stop me." Kushina threatened as her hair started rising into nine parts like tails making the girls sweat drop, but the guys including Minato and his son to pale and step back from her in fear.
"I promise mom." He said as she nodded and her hair went back to normal making everyone sigh in relief.
He grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder and started walking away.
"Till we meet again!" He shouted as he disappeared in a Shunshin.
"Please be safe and come back safely." Mira said enough for the other girls to hear who nodded with a smile.
"He'll be fine Mira, he promised us he would be and I trust him." Levy said smiling.
"Let's head back everyone, I'm sure we all have something to do today!" Minato shouted, getting nods and shouts of yeah as Natsu ran back to grab a job request.
Three Years Later (x784)
Magnolia Town was a bustling city, one filled with both the young and old, rich and poor, but the true highlight of the city was the large building that skirted the edge of town. The occupants of the building, a constant topic of the normal daily chatter that occurred across town, were famous across the entire continent for one reason. This building was the hall of the top mage guild in all of Fiore, Fairy Tail. Many of the citizens idolized the brave mages, their conversations normally mentioning at least one of them daily... and more often if a member had a particularly insane mission.
Four people could be seen walking through the streets wearing cloaks which would normally be suspicious, but the people had recognized one of them and would simply wave at him and he returned the gesture with a smile and nod to them. Children would greet him and he'd ruffle their hairs with the same smile. He was pretty popular around, despite having been gone for a while, but it seems that they remembered him still.
"Come on, Naruto-kun, we need to hurry. Your parents are waiting for us and I'm sure they're wanting to see you again." One of them said in a feminine, yet monotoned. He nodded and bid everyone farewell before continuing the trek towards the guildhall.
She was a beautiful woman having E-cup size large breasts, purple hair and eyes, and pale skin. Her most noticeable features are the two large gold-looking horns protruding from the sides of her head and pointing upwards. Upon her head is a white band which separates her hair, framing her bangs from her hair below the band. Worn upon her forehead is a small circular symbol with a small dot on the inside and surrounded by several dots around the top. Tied around her neck is a small white-colored strap. Meanwhile, her attire consists of a very revealing blue-colored leopard-printed kimono, bearing the decorative marks on her shoulders. The kimono is wrapped around her torso with a thick, decorative yellow ribbon that ties behind her back, and her outfit is complemented by thigh-high socks that reveal her heels and toes.
She was an Etherious demon that had been ordered by Kyoka who was a fellow demon created by Zeref to spy and eliminate him who could be a problem for his plans in the future if not dealt with. She had done as told and when she observed him, she felt something that had attracted her attention sensing something different about him. After spending enough time spying on him, she wasn't learning that much about him, so she had decided to go with a more direct approach. It had turned into a massive fight when she revealed herself to him and demanded to know who he was, it led to a fight. What she discovered during the fight was that he could use demonic powers of his own, but very different from anything she had seen before. She was even surprised when she tried using her curse on him, but found out that it didn't affect him at all. She became fascinated afterwards wanting to know more about him and how he can use demon powers and ignore her curse. Days turned to weeks with them meeting up to talk and eventually, she learned to trust him despite her at first trying to kill him. She grew fond of him, especially since he didn't care if she was a demon knowing that not all demons were bad.
It was at this time, he had told her that he was leaving to continue his travels to explore Earthland and see what it had to offer. When she heard this, she had become somewhat sad, having grown used to having talks with him, despite being human, he wasn't like other humans she'd seen before. Kyoka had tasked her to travel with him and continue to spy on him, find out everything she could about him and even gain his trust so they could learn everything about him. She agreed and was looking forward to this. It wasn't known to anyone, but she liked spending time with him even if she didn't show it. This was in the first six months after Naruto had left Magnolia Town.
She hadn't regretted the choice to join him and learned many things about him. What had started out as a mission changed to something else as she was now working as a double agent against Kyoka finding that she was going to hurt not only him, but his parents who she had met and despite her being a demon, they didn't care what she was as long as she was happy with her son. Despite her hatred of humans still, she liked them, especially Kushina who could keep her husband and son in line if needed.
"We have time Seilah, it's not like we can't take a few minutes to say hello. Jeez, you're sounding like Ur except when it comes to her stripping habit." Naruto smirked at her, but yelped when he felt someone start pulling his cheek making it stretch out.
"Oh, I'm sorry, what was that, Naruto-kun?" Another voice asked sweetly from behind.
"N-noting Ur-Chan, pwease wet go of my cheek." He pleaded with tears in the corner of his eyes as she complied, but smirked at him, while Seilah smirked at him with the other person snorting in amusement.
"Wow, the all powerful Naruto Senju being brought down so easily~" Seilah couldn't help, but tease him as she gave a small chuckle.
"Hey, it's not my fault that you girls can be scary when you want to be. It's like all of you like to gang up on me or something." Naruto said with a pout and it only grew worse when all three of them snorted.
"I'm glad that someone other than me can keep you out of trouble Naruto-kun. You have a habit of making even the simplest things turn into something chaotic and crazy." A feminine voice said as Naruto gave the walking cat the stink eye from his mindscape. Her body was made entirely of blue flames with black designs on her body and had two different eye colors, yellow in her right and green in her left one. This was Matatabi, the Two-Tails, Naruto had managed to free her and the others from the seal, but still had a connection to him since if he did free them completely, he would die, but they could leave it whenever they wanted which was enough for them. They were free and could explore outside, but decided to stay with him, liking his company and how fun things got around him.
"Sis has a point, but that's what makes things fun with you, Naruto." Another voice called out agreeing with the cat. Chomei is a blue, armored rhinoceros beetle, with six of its seven tails resembling green insect wings, along with an actual seventh tail, all growing from the end of its abdomen. The stem of the tail is green but the wings are orange. Its eyes seem to be covered by a helmet-like skull, from inside of which, an orange glow can be seen. It also has spike protrusions on its shoulders and a row of slits on each shoulder, and six legs — three on each side. The legs are also covered by the blue armor, with the exception of extreme ends which are green in color. It has two pincers with three parts on its face, covering a mouth full of sharp teeth.[8] On its back behind its head, it has a large two sectioned horned protrusion.
"Geez, Chomei and here I thought you were the sensible one of your siblings, why does everyone go against me?" Naruto pouted at the snickering Biju.
"Come on, it's been awhile since we last met with your parents and I'm quite excited to see them again and if what you've told me is true, then I'll get to see my old student again." The person spoke with a tint of excitement in her voice as he nodded and they continued their walk.
"Wow, I haven't seen you this excited since I was able to release you from the Ice Shell, Ur." Naruto's smile never left his face as she nodded with her own. Yes, Naruto had gone to Galuna Island when he heard about it being cursed. He took it upon himself to free the villagers after he left with Seilah. However, during the mission, he had found the demon Deloria was in a prison made of ice, but what surprised him was someone was trying to free it for some reason. He learned his name was Lyon and apparently he was trying to free it, so he could kill it himself as a way to surpass his master. Naruto snorted at the stupid reason for doing something that would get himself killed and make his master's efforts pointless. It didn't take long for him to knock him and his other teammates out when he was deciding what to do with it when he got a real look at it when he sensed some life force coming from the ice itself. He had discovered that someone was the ice itself to trap and kill it. He used his Rinnegan, more specifically the Preta Path to absorb the demon which finished it off and used Matatabi's blue flames to melt the ice and Ur's body was revealed. When Ur woke up, Naruto was able to explain how long it's been since she used "Ice Shell".
He then told her about Lyon when Ur had said was one of her two students and after he told her what he tried to do, she kicked his ass twice as hard before telling him not to do something so stupid again when the reunion got better with the two getting reacquainted and catching up. After Lyon and his teammates left, Ur decided to go with Naruto and Seilah as he traveled around Earthland. She learned a lot about him and how he wasn't from this dimension after a few months of traveling together.
"You know, I never did thank you for freeing me from that prison and finish off Deloria, perhaps I could thank you properly later~" Ur spoke in a more seductive tone that sent shivers down at his spine with the others looking on in interest and some desire showing in their own eyes, especially Seilah.
Naruto saw her expression and knew what she had in mind and looked over to Seilah for help, but she had a similar one and his danger senses were going off. "Now, now we can do talk about this later, right when we'll have all the time in the world to ourselves?" He tried to placate with a nervous chuckle and luckily he was saved…. For now that is.
"He does have a point and we'll have all night to have some fun~" Seilah said with a small seductive smile at the end with Ur nodding in approval." Though, later after we meet with them. I'm sure Mira, Levy, Erza, and Cana would want to join as well." She said as the voice of reason as Urs face lit up at the chance of having fun with their shared lover.
Ur was a woman of average height with a slim, curvaceous figure. Her irises were black and she kept her dark purple hair at chin length. Her hair was normally quite unkempt, cascading down the sides of her face and covering her ears. Only a few strands of her hair hung down her temple, some falling between her eyes.
She wore a short, tan jacket with a dark brown collar and cuff and two breast pockets. The pockets could be closed by buttoning the small flaps above them to their front. She used to leave her jacket open to reveal a maroon tube top below it, partially exposing her midriff. She wore a pair of black jeans and a belt with a scaly design and metal buckle. Her outfit was completed by a pair of simple brown shoes Her underwear was her training gear, consisting of a green bra coupled with a pair of green panties. Both undergarments had lime upper borders with a pattern of dark triangles running along below them.
You see, only a few people knew of Ur's revival with them being his parents, Makarov, Mira, Cana, and Levy, wanting to keep it a surprise when she saw her student again after so many years had passed for them. Naruto will be introducing everyone to the guild officially.
"Yeah, I'd rather you didn't do that now or else I'll start gagging." Kurama said in disgust, not wanting to see his partner have sex.
It wasn't long before they arrived at the guild and by the sound of it, they seemed rather lively which was common for them in the the year Naruto spent with them, he quickly realized it was normal for them to get into brawls and be energetic.
"Here we are, are you girls ready to officially meet everyone?" Naruto asked the girls who all nodded as they opened the door. For once there wasn't a brawl and it was great to be back now. Things were going to get interesting.
