Gallaxhar's ship unleashed a probe towards Earth. Unlike the scouting probe this particular probe was much much bigger and was made for combat to retrieve the Quantonium and deal with any opposition it encountered. The probe was oval shaped and about 400 feet tall.
The probe struck a fairly remote area several miles away from San Francisco. It didn't take long for the people of Earth to find out about the probe's presence and soon the probe was surrounded by news crews and the United States military. The probe remained where it had landed embedded in the Earth, but it had revealed a large blue mechanical eye that looked the area and at the humans, but did nothing else.
News about the probe spread throughout the world as several news stations covered it. In Metroville, the Super family known as the Incredibles sat gathered in their living room watching live footage of the probe.
There was a hush as a official looking helicopter arrived on the scene and out stepped several Secret Service Agents and the President of the Untied States, President Hathaway. The Commander and Chief made his way towards the probe and went up a long flight of stairs to a platform with a podium and electric keyboard on it. The platform stood at the same level as the probe's eye and the eye stared at Hathaway as he reached the platform and made his way to the podium.
Hathaway looked at the eye and then he began to play the electric keyboard. The president played Axel F By: Harold Faltermeyer impressing many people watching before he stopped and gave the peace sign with both hands.
The eye closed and a port beneath it opened up and a long robotic arm with a hand extended out towards the president as if it wanted to shake his hand. It seemed Hathaway's bizarre method had gotten the probe's attention and it was attempting to make contact with the president. Hathaway reached out to the probe's hand. The hand slammed down on the podium crushing it and keyboard and barely missing a stunned Hathaway. The arm retracted into the probe and two massive clawed hands began to emerge from it's sides and began to push itself from the Earth as it began to sprout two legs.
Hathaway ran for his life as the probe smashed the stairway. He barely escaped getting stomped by the probe's foot and into the arms of his security team, who quickly carried him to safety. Hathaway ordered the military to open fire on the probe. The infantry, tanks, helicopters, and jets began to shoot at the probe, every bullet and missiles struck a force field around the probe. Nothing seemed to harm or phase the probe as it stomped around. The military quickly realized they stood no chance against the probe and quickly began to retreat from the area.
In the the Incredibles' living room the family stared at the tv in shock and horror. Bob and Helen had grave expressions on their faces. Jack-Jack cried and Helen comforted him.
"Mom. Dad. What's going to happen now? Are we going to have to fight that thing?" Asked Violet her eyes wide in fear.
"I honestly don't know sweetie." Said Helen not really sure what to say.
The scene on the screen looked very grim as the probe stomped forward one step at a time.
