Chapter 6 Mingle

The two teams were now standing about mingling. Susan sat on a giant metal chair next to a giant metal table, which Voyd had used her powers to put herself, Helen, and Violet on, so they could talk to Susan as she took sips of water from a metal cup the size of a van.
"This must be how Jack felt, when he entered the giant's house." Thought Violet as Susan told her story.
"So let me get this straight. You were struck by a meteor, that caused you to grow during your wedding, and then the military showed up, knocked you out, and took you to this place." Said Helen.
"Pretty much." Said Susan.
"That's insane! The military violated your rights and locked you up!" Said Helen looking enraged at the injustice.
"You got a point, but I guess with the way I am, they couldn't just have me walking around in the world. At least here I don't have to worry too much about stepping on anyone and the people here are looking after me and the scientists are studying my DNA to see if they can return me to normal size. Also they plan to set me and the other monsters free once we takedown that alien robot." Said Susan.
"Still this whole thing feels unfair to you. Have the military at least allowed you to contact your family and loved ones to at least tell them you're ok?" Said Helen.
"No. They won't allow me to contact anyone. They told me it was for national security." Said Susan.
"Another right violated." Muttered Helen.
Mr. Incredible, Frozone, and most of the other heroes were hanging with Link, B.O.B, and Dr. Cockroach and demonstrating their powers. Link got a little nervous, when he saw that Frozone could freeze things.
"Mind not freezing anything near me?" Asked Link.
"What's his deal?" Asked Mr. Incredible.
"Oh, Link has a fear of being frozen in ice again. He was frozen for a very long time, before he thawed out and was brought here." Explained Dr. Cockroach.
"Yeah before I was frozen, dinosaurs still roamed the planet." Said Link.
"How'd you end up frozen?" Asked Mr. Incredible.
"Memory is a bit funny, but I remember there being a squirrel with an acorn that caused a glacier to collapse then things went dark. Next thing I know I'm in some kind of beach house and there was a beach full of people." Said Link.
"Crazy." Said Frozone.
As they talked Jack-Jack was poking B.O.B's gooey body and having a blast. The Super baby then activated his growth power and became a giant fat baby that was able to pickup B.O.B and play with him like a piece of silly putty. Link and Dr. Cockroach stared at Jack-Jack in shock, while Mr. Incredible looked on in concern for the blue monster.
"Oh don't worry, B.O.B can't be harmed. His indestructible." Said Dr. Cockroach.
"So the baby can turn into a giant?" Asked Link.
"That's only one of his powers. My kid has multiple powers, though he can only use one power at a time. When he gets older and with practice, he could use more then one power." Said Mr. Incredible.
"Astonishing." Said Dr. Cockroach.
"Alright Super. Monsters. Gather around. We have a training area setup and were ready to have you practice working together. Now let's get a move on." Said Monger as a large metal door opened up.
The teams exchanged looks and followed Monger out as they wondered what kind of training they would face.
