By the time Rose and Dodger got to where Einstein was, it wouldn't take more than an hour for him to succumb to his sickness. He didn't seem to recognize anybody there, which broke their hearts.
He had a sunken look in his brown eyes, looking like they were unfocused. It was upsetting to see their old friend like this. Yeah, he wasn't the smartest dog in the bunch, but he was a good dog with a protective yet caring heart.
After passing away, Fagin decided to have his remains cremated since Fagin has a well-paying job thanks to Penny's parents, who were happy about him saving their daughter from being kidnapped by Sykes.
In a way, Einstein would still be there with them. But his legacy would live on because of little Einstein Jr.
Shortly after that, some good came out of that year. Kaiden and his family moved back down to New York with little Samuel, who still had her bandana. The little tyke was now nearly a year old. Kaiden didn't have a mate or any pups, since he was still looking after Samuel.
Rose spent the day with that family after explaining to her gang who they were.
Rose had gotten her bandana back, looking like her old self again. Kaiden had moved into a house outside of the city, so Rose and her family would be able to go visit them whenever they wanted to.
This is end of the story. Rose was finally happy to be back with her family in the once place she called home.
This is the last chapter of this story. I won't be writing anymore as of right now. Maybe when I'm finished with the entire series, I'm not sure. But thanks for sticking with this story. It was honestly a lot of fun to write. And I will be finishing the third entry soon. Things have been hectic and lost interest in it.
Hope to see you guys on another story.
