Goodbyes to Bright Future for Atlantis
Velvet is seen riding on a flying fish-cycle looking down at the water trying to find something within the water or just remember a certain spot, until she smiles believing she have found the spot where she once visited sometime before meeting Sun and Oscar and friends.
"Guys, over here!" Velvet called out.
A dozen men along with Sweet, Elm, and Oscar have come with some ropes and hooks for the job.
"It's down there, but I'm not sure if this number will be enough." Velvet concerned.
"Don't worry, girl. Whatever you want to dig up from water is gonna come facing the light with us here." Sweet assured as he flexes his right arm.
"Just leave the heavy lifting to us." Elm smiled.
"That goes for all of us too." Oscar added flowing closer to his bunny girlfriend.
"If you say so." Velvet giggled.
Velvet took in the little breathing device in her mouth before diving into the water followed by Oscar, Sweet and Elm went in with the Atlantian men following them as they follow the two lovers closely, so they don't get a little lost.
Velvet looks around for a bit until she found the very object she came here for and good thing it was that deep in the water for the ropes, she hands single to the others about the object, and they got to work with getting it hooked up and checking to make sure its secure before going back up.
"We're all good, Velvet!" One Atlantis man reported.
"Okay, now get your fish-cycles to full throttle and pull!" Velvet commanded.
Everyone starts moving their Fish-cycles going up as they struggle a little with lifting the heavy object they found in the water, but they kept going up little by little that means they are lifting the object up as it took them about a few minutes or so to get it full resurface.
"We did it!" Velvet amazed.
"Told you we can do it together!" Oscar smiled.
"Now it's settled it down gentle." Sweet ordered as the others nodded and float toward the nearest solid and strong ground.
They place is down as Velvet jumps off to get a closer look of the object revealing to be a small statue of the Atlantis Guardian like the giant ones at the edge of the city, but this one has a more feminine figure with rabbit ears and it's holding a sword with the blade that is orange and almost carrot shape.
"So, that's what so important to get it up here." Sweet amazed.
"Is this a statue of a warrior from long ago?" Elm asked curious.
"Yeah, it's a statue of my aunt Rito. The greatest warrior Atlantis ever had even after the great flood." Velvet revealed shocking to a few.
"This was your aunt? Oh momma, you sure have one amazing relative!" Sweet complimented.
"Thanks, she was the best warrior the city would have and can take down 102 men in one afternoon until nighttime already came." Velvet mentioned.
"Now that's what I call a strong woman in heart and body!" Elm amazed.
"Yeah, but when the great flood happened, and everything was going crazy. Rito tried her best to get my mom and me as a baby into the shelter, but her leg got caught in the forcefield and was cut off." Velvet explained.
"Ouch, worst way to end a career." Elm winced.
"Don't worry, Aunt Rito didn't take it hard as she said it a price worth paying to save her family and some of the people too." Velvet said.
"I can tell you got her strong heart too." Oscar complimented with a hand on her shoulder.
"Even though my aunt was strong, but there was one thing she could not overcome and that was being sick from a deadly virus in the heart." Velvet mentioned, feeling sad of the memories.
"I guess it must've been when her crystal necklace was weakening due to the Heart of Atlantis being hidden away." Oscar theorized.
"Either way, my aunt continued living out her life until her time came, and the city held a great funeral in her name and honor." Velvet explained.
"Seems kind of odd that the statue was in the water after all this time." Elm puzzled of that part of the mystery.
"It's because the statue was made on a small platform close to where the guardians are station, she always said about always being the front of the city." Velvet explained.
"Then what happened that platform since we found the statue at bottom of the lake?" Sweet asked.
"It was broken down by some teens playing with big hammers and rammed their ships onto the platform, it wasn't sturdy either." Velvet mentioned.
"So, where do you want this statue to be now?" Oscar asked.
"I was thinking perhaps my aunt want to be on the lookout of the city from the center, like at the royal palace." Elm suggested.
"That would be cool, and aunt Rito did like doing something cool as this." Velvet nodded of approval.
"Then we better go see if the future Queen of Atlantis will be okay with it." Oscar pointed her thumb at his fish-cycle.
"Hopefully we won't interrupting something important." Velvet said.
(With Sun and Kida, Throne Room)
"Ready to do the important?" Sun asked.
"Of course, Golden Monkey, I'm always ready whenever you're here as well." Kida smiled.
"That's what I like to hear." Sun smiled back as the two lean their faces closer to each other like they're about to kiss each other.
But their faces stop when they were two inches close and immediately swung their staff-like spear at each other, rapidly striking trying to land a hit on one another though Sun appears to be on the defense as Kida is going on strong with the offense.
Kida is wielding her own special spear that is the similar in appearance like the other Atlantis soldier spears except the spear is color bright blue that is like when she was a living crystal ten days ago, the wrap is all golden with the ribbon sticking out, and the bottom is golden furred accessory like Sun's tail.
"I got to say, you certainly show to be a strong princess in a fight." Sun commented.
"Well, I did not spend the last 9,000 years being within the castle doing nothing but being ready to take the throne." Kida stated and charges at Sun again.
Sun spins around his long red staff clashing with Kida's spear as the two are moving around and he jumps over Kida getting to her back and swung his red staff to swipe her down and strikes down though quickly block it.
"I can see the wild has really done special to you." Sun joked a little.
"Probably not as wild as you, Sun." Kida grinned and pushed him off as she flips herself back on her feet.
Sun comes in to attack this time throwing in some fast strikes that Kida could barely keep up and moves away a little to dodge them, then she saw a small opening which she took it with a kick to the stomach.
"You're mine now!" Kida jumped and swung her spear at Sun.
Kida's attack seems to have broken his red staff in two, but Sun smirks and with a flick of his wrist causing the two pieces to become nun-chucks and clashes against Kida's spear.
He wraps one chuck onto the spear forcing the head to face down at the floor leaving an opening for Sun to strike with the other nun-chuck, but Kida moved her hand fast to be close right at the neck.
"And I thought I have fast hands." Sun chuckled.
"I doubt you ever learned pressure points to knock your opponent out." Kida smiled as they decided to end their sparring match.
"Hey, you two, enjoyed your combat practice?" Jasmine asked walking in with Winter, Weiss, and Blake.
"Yep, and I got to say that Kida definitely would've got me if we had continued." Sun admitted with a proud smile.
"Kida never like sitting around while her kingdom was adjusting to our new underground life." Blake pointed out.
"And if I hadn't joined the hunting group, I would have met the Golden Monkey who would also be the love of my life." Kida nodded and kiss Sun on the lips.
"It almost feels like Sun has another power than being the Golden Monkey of Atlantis." Blake chuckled.
"Princess Kida, Velvet and Oscar have come to speak with you." Winter reported.
"Send them in, and just call me Kida. We are sisters, after all." Kida pointed out to Winter.
"I know, just doing my job as captain of the royal guard." Winter smiled.
Soon, Velvet and Oscar along with Elm who is happy to see Sun again and hugs him strong as he didn't mind.
"So, I was hoping can place my aunt's statue among the palace like outside of the throne room." Velvet requested.
"Of course, Velvet. Your aunt was the mightiest warrior Atlantis had to offer and kind to others, her honor will be here." Kida granted approval of the request which made Velvet happy.
"We should also have a dinner gathering for the surface travelers before they head back home tomorrow." Kida mentioned.
Hearing this causes Velvet's ears to twitch and become a little sad that after all the times they spent together for the past ten days, she almost forgotten that everyone except Sun has to go back to the surface world, she knows they have other important things up there in their life.
"You okay, Velvet?" Oscar asked.
Then Velvet felt an idea popped into her head making her smile a little exciting.
"I am, and I think I have a surprise that Kida might be proud of." Velvet said making Kida raise an eyebrow.
(Tomorrow)
The day has finally come for the exploration team to head back home at the surface world to make their report to Ozpin, and the Atlantians are making their goodbyes as Kida gave each an Atlantis crystal necklace for them to always be connected to Atlantis.
"Atlantis will never forget the bravery you have done for us. I only wish we could do more to show our gratitude." Kida said.
"Thank you, Princess Kida, but you have already given us all the thanks we could ask for." Vine smiled.
"That and along with some of the treasures you're allowing us to bring back." Aladdin added, turning back to see few of the Atlantis men loading the gold and treasures into the ship they'll be taking.
"Just be sure NOT to become too greedy with the money, mother warned me about those kinds of people." Weiss advised.
"No worries, we'll be extra careful." Sweet promised.
"I will finally fulfill my dream of owning my own pig farm and a lab about the magnificence filth!" Mole excited which creeps out Aladdin.
"Well, I'm looking forward to enjoy some relaxing time at home without any worries and enjoy some drinking too." Qrow smirked.
"Except for paying the bills." Ruby pointed out.
"And the taxes for stuff." Yang added with a grin.
"Come on, let me have my moment!" Qrow complained a little.
"That ship will get you up to the surface." Sun informed.
"While you remain here." Oscar smiled and held out his hand to Sun.
"I'm really going to miss you, Sun. All the weeks together to finding this city to try proving to the world that Atlantis did exist, but now we'll have to keep it a secret." Oscar chuckled.
"Not exactly kept secret." Velvet walked up to Oscar and presented him a crystal necklace.
"This was my aunt's necklace, always wore it around her back like the rest of us." Velvet said.
"You want me to take it back to the surface?" Oscar asked.
"That's half right, I want you to take this necklace to topside along with myself." Velvet said shocking the group.
"Wait, you want to come with us?" Ruby asked.
"Like, for real?" Neon asked too, wanting to make sure she heard that right as well.
"For real as I am." Velvet nodded.
"But Velvet, this is your home, everything you knew up with and could uncovered that was lost and"
"And I have allowed her to leave." Kida stepped in the conversation.
"Velvet came to me for a private conversation about her plan to leave for the surface world, to learn everything that has changed over the past 9,000 years and to be with the man she loves." Kida explained as Velvet hugs Oscar.
"To be honest, if we had each other's role then I would do the same thing." Kida said as Sun smiles at her.
"That goes for me and the other girls who love Sun." Jasmine stated they nods in agreement.
"Plus, I'm not my Atlantian origin won't even be notice to most people as I'll just be like them." Velvet pointed out.
"Oh, she does have a point." Mole said.
"Well, guess that means you'll have that three-way love up there, little sis." Yang smiled at Ruby.
"I just wish you would come home with me." Ruby said, looking a little sad.
"I know, but the girls and I have already had this talk before the big dinner party and made the announcement last night to everyone." Yang reminded her little sister.
Last night during the dinner party, Kida and Jasmine have made the announcement the girls from the surface world will be staying in Atlantis to help bring life back into the city along, and to have more loving time with Sun too.
"You know, this reminds me of those love stories the lovers would always stay together no matter what!" Dusty said as he is on the verge of tears.
"I know, I have two nieces who are into that kind of stuff." Maria handed Dusty a tissue paper which he gladly accepts to blow his nose.
"It's just going to be hard telling this to Tai that you're staying in the lost city, but I know he'll keep it a secret for you." Qrow assured which made Yang smile.
"Be sure to tell my father I will be okay too. I know he can be overprotective, but he'll also know I'll be fine since Sun is with me." Jasmine said.
"Tell my parents I'll be doing well." Elm said to Sweet.
"No problem, and I'll also tell them that you fought off two sharks in case they ask." Sweet joked making her laugh.
"Well, since Velvet is willing to let her aunt's crystal to be a symbol of Atlantis existence, might as well take the book too." Sun tapped the Shepherd's Journal.
"You sure you don't need this, it's gonna be hard with rebuilding the city." Oscar stated.
"Trust me, it's safer in your hands and I know it was my grandfather who found it. But I'm more of a comic type, and I'm sure I can figure the rest out with the others' help." Sun said, then he held out his hand to Rito's crystal making it glow gold and blue.
"Just a little something for the presentation." Sun winked.
"Well, if you say so." Oscar smiled.
"Besides, I got the Golden Eyes to help me out too." Sun pointed at his eyes, and they glow gold for a second.
"We're really going to miss you, man." Aladdin walked up to him.
"Me too, be sure to stay out of trouble." Sun smiled as he shake hands with Aladdin.
"I'll try my best." Aladdin chuckled.
"May the Gods watch you." Vine said.
"Sun!" Mole held out his arms to get a hug from Mole.
"I'll miss you too, buddy!" Sun smiled and hugs Mole.
"We are going to give him a very thorough bath later." Blake whispered to the girls, and they quickly agreed.
"If you don't mind, I would like to stay as well. I want to make amends for causing so much trouble in Atlantis." Selina offered.
"You are more than welcome to join us, sister." Kida accepted.
"Be seeing you, monkey boy." Sweet offered his hand.
"Right back ya." Sun takes the hand, and suddenly pulled into a tight hug that causes his neck to cramp up.
"Huh, Sweet… Could you." Sun groaned. Sweet got the message and fix his neck.
"This turned out to be quite the adventure." Sun said to Oscar who agrees.
"Come on, everyone. Let's take one last picture." Sweet suggested and everyone gathers at the gold as Yang got her phone ready to take the picture and Rajah got in front of everyone.
"Say Monkey!" Yang said as she quickly comes back to the group.
"Monkey!" Everyone said and Rajah roars as the picture is taken.
(Later, Ozpin Manor)
Ozpin is seen looking at pictures of the adventure the team went through standing next to the fireplace along with the team who came back dress in some fancy clothes, including Velvet though she was struggling with the high heels. Even Mole was cleaned for the first time, and the others forced him to be clean.
"Alright everyone, let's go over one more time for the press conference. You didn't find anything else besides the crystal and journal?" Ozpin asked.
"No sir, all we found were ruins except they were totally, well, ruined and beyond being taken and there were a lot of fish too." Aladdin said going first for the cover up.
"The treasure we found were still intact and planned to use most of them for good while keeping the rest for ourselves." Neon added.
"That's good, now about what happened to Helga." Ozpin said.
"You could say the woman was gonna be the rich one if she let her getaway with" Maria smacked Dusty on the head with her umbrella for messing up the line.
"Oh, she went missing after being caught in a strong current." Dusty corrected himself.
"Good. Jafar's fate?" Ozpin asked.
"Nervous breakdown, but also revealed that he was the murder of Milo Thatch years ago. Could say the guilt make him broke." Qrow explained.
"Yeah, like being turned into a blue crystal monster and shattered into billions of" Dusty stopped himself when he saw Maria lift her umbrella again. "He also went missing."
"What about Sun, and the rest of the team?" Ozpin asked.
"Went down with the sub." Oscar answered.
"And I was "among" the crew to have found the treasure and the crystal necklace." Velvet added her part of the cover up.
"Good, Velvet. I'm glad to see you have adapted into the surface life quite well." Ozpin nodded.
Then they see Mole dug himself into a pot to make himself dirty again and chuckles of delight.
"I warned you all the dirt in Mole's soul cannot be clean." Vine said as Sweet and the others sigh.
"I'm sure going to miss that boy, but I know he's in a better place as I'm sure Milo would agree." Ozpin smiled, seeing the picture of Sun's harem and seeing Kida.
"He'll always be with us in our hearts and in these crystals." Oscar smiled looking at is crystal necklace.
(Atlantis, with Sun)
Sun and Yang have just finished craving a stone head of the late King of Atlantis showing this to the now Queen of Atlantis, Kida as she looks at the face of her father and blows on her crystal to make is glow and tap on the stone face along with Sun's hand.
This causes the stone head to float up to the Heart of Atlantis, Sun and the girls went climbing up the statue of a Guardian to get a better view and are on their way to a bright future for the city.

Well, one adventure may have ended but the Golden Monkey of Atlantis is not done with his adventures as this will be start of a new one, his new home in Atlantis is going to be an interesting ride to experience things with everyone including his lovers and perhaps bring something new too!
