Sea Battle Ending the Devil Fish!
After Edgar left, the others knew they needed to be on the lookout for that guy and what's going on with the town and Oscar turns to Inger.
"That is giving off a lot of weird vibes right now and I do not like them one bit." Sweet commented.
"You can say that again." Elm agreed with her friend here, there is something about that guy that is NOT friendly.
"Can you tell us more about this deal with the Devil Volgud made?" Oscar asked the innkeeper.
"It is an old wives' story, a folk tale. Nothing more." Inger tried to brush off the subject, but everyone in the inn can tell that she is doing this out of fear of Edgar and this Devil that has most likely been harming this town for a very long time.
"But miss, we wanna help you and this town!" Ruby said.
"A lot of people have lost their lives out at sea and this town is hurting on the inside too." Blake stated, this seems to have convinced Inger.
"I would love to let my little one play outside again." Inger said, looking up at the ceiling for a second until she finally decided to help give them all the information she has on her.
"Long ago, the first left the sea. The town was in danger of dying. A bargain was struck—the souls of the people for the life of the town." Inger walked over to a painting picture of a ship being attacked by the sea monster itself.
"The Kraken?" Mole surprised a bit.
"I think I read about this in history class, that the Kraken also has another name known as the Devil Fish." Aladdin recalled somewhat of this.
"And this Devil was able to provide the town?" Jasmine asked.
"Yes, but no one can leave, and the sun has not shone since." Inger explained a bit more.
"Looks like this mystery just became clearer for us." Weiss said with a glare.
"And we're going to crack it wide open." Sun said with the determination to free this town from the Kraken and Edgar once and for all, he will not like this kind of fate go on any longer for the people here.
"Then we start searching in the morning." Oscar nodded, also wanting to help this little town.
(Morning)
"I know we have a town to save and all, but did we have to wake up early in the morning?" Aladdin asked, letting out a little yawn.
"It is because we must save the town that we have to find the answer to what Edger's operation is and put a stop to it." Vine reminded the boy.
"We know there is a connection between the Kraken and this town, such as securing the goods from all the ships that comes by and Volgud takes them to provide the town." Oscar believed that to be the case.
"That means somewhere around here, Volgud is getting those supplies." Kida figured that part out.
"It would have to be like a hidden cave, but where do we even start looking?" Willow asked as she looks around.
"I could try using my dynamites to find us a hidden cave." Yang offered while holding two sticks in each hand.
"Oh Yang, blowing things up is your answer to everything." Ruby rolled her eyes.
"Sorry, I'm still feeling mad about that old man." Yang apologized.
"No need to apologize. Not when the answer is staring at you right in the face!" Mole smirked.
"What are you talking about?" Sienna asked.
And this is where Mole gets to shine.
"Look how an igneous boulder has been futilely disguised as sedimentary rock. They might as well paint a road sign." Mole patted the rock and walks up to reach out for a metal lever that was behind the rock, pulling it down causing that rock to move revealing the hidden cave.
"Holy Uncle Monkey…!" Sun shocked with Oscar dropping his jaw in shock as well.
"Mole may be the dirtiest man who ever live, but under all of that dirt is the genius mind who has been studying Geologic and all other rock fields with the highest degree of those fields." Vine explained with a small smile as he follows Mole in.
"Shit, and I thought of him as a dirty digger." Aladdin surprised.
"We all did." Sweet said.
"But how… Can he really tell that much of a difference when the outside point of view is very much the same?" Weiss asked shock.
"Yes, I thought they all look the same." Kida commented.
"Maybe he was raised by naked mole rats." Velvet guessed.
"That would explain so much." Winter said as everyone went into the cave together.
The tunnel through the hidden cave is long and dark as to be expected with the old man wanting to keep this a secret from any outsiders that would come to the town, which means that the group are on the right track to go find what they are looking for and then some.
"Ow, who just stepped on my foot?" Neon asked complaining whispering.
"Sorry, I thought I felt something scratch my ankle." Blake apologized.
"Rajah, please be careful with your claws." Jasmine said to her pet tiger who nods at Jasmine.
The group then arrives at a large opening of the cave where they see a bunch of boxes stack on top of each other and several men are moving around while carrying some other boxes close to shore of the water.
"Oh dear, looks like we found more than what we were expecting." Kali surprised.
"I think these are all from the sunken freighter." Willow guessed as she looks at all the boxes.
"I think you are right." Mole nodded.
"Where's the old man?" Ruby asked.
"Over there." Kida said, pointing towards Edgar who is standing close to the water.
Edgar stares at the water for a moment until his eyes started to glow green and bubbles are erupting from the water, the bubbles get bigger and more coming until four large tentacles come out of the water and put down two crates down on the ground.
"Yep, it's definitely the same creature that attacked our ship." Blake glared.
One of the tentacles moves over to Edgar giving him a pat on cheek before going back into the water.
"Wait, unless I'm wrong, Volgud is controlling the Kraken." Oscar guessed shock.
"What? How the fuck is that even possible?" Kida asked shock.
"No Oscar, it's actually in reverse, the Kraken is the one controlling Volgud. Remember what Inger told us about the deal he made with the Devil?" Sun saw the strange glow on those tentacles, and they see even stronger than on Edger, his Golden Monkey instincts are telling him the Kraken is the bigger problem.
"I think the same can be said about the men here. Look at their eyes, it's like they're hypnotize or something." Oscar pointed out, seeing the men in a deep trance.
"Then our enemy is the Devil Fish itself, we defeat it and the whole town is free from its curse." Kida believed.
"Quick, to our pods!" Jasmine said.
Unknown to the group, both Sienna and Aladdin are staring strangely at the water where the Kraken is and their eyes started glowing green, just like how Edger's eyes glow green as well.
But then two men came up behind them trying to go in for the grab only for Velvet and Coco to kick them down.
"They are not very good at this whole sneaking up thing." Coco commented.
"We have to get out now!" Blake said.
"Hold on, we need to make sure this Kraken doesn't come back here and maybe seal it off within the cave too." Yang suggested as she brought out a dynamite stick.
"Just make sure not to burry all of us when you throw that thing." Qrow advised.
"Quick, exploding girl, up at that crack!" Mole pointed at the ceiling with the giant crack.
"Great, now I just need to—Aladdin, Sienna, what are you two?" Yang called out two her friend and fellow lover who are standing in the water.
"They're being controlled by the Kraken!" Vine alerted.
"Shit!" Qrow quickly ran over to the two with Winter right next to him.
Qrow threw a strong punch in the back of Aladdin's head to knock him out while Winter grabs Sienna in a hold, moving her back to the shore.
"Sienna, you must wake up! The Kraken is controlling you!" Winter called out, but there is no response from Sienna.
"I'm throwing the boom!" Yang shouted and threw the stick of dynamite at the cracked ceiling.
"Sienna, come on, babe! I know you can hear me, come back to us!" Sun begged with a worried look on his face and his body glows a bit.
From one touch from his hand, Sienna started blinking a few times and then her eyes are back to normal with a gasp.
"Sun?" Sienna was confused about what happened to her.
The dynamite stick exploded in the crack causing the ceiling to crumble with rocks falling on top of the tentacles which forces the Kraken to retreat for the time being.
"Come on!" Yang said.
"Stop! You do not know what you are doing!" Edger yelled, only to be punched down by Elm, knocking him out.
"We better than the shitty move you pulled on your own people." Elm glared down at the old man.
"Forget him, we have a giant octopus to defeat." Kida reminded her friend/fellow lover of Sun.
The group ran away to make their way back to the sub pods in order to take the fight against the Kraken and hopefully end it for good, but they are stopped by five of the town folks who are also under the control of the mighty sea monster.
"Mole, run them down but do not hurt them too much." Vine ordered.
Mole gave his friend a nod and charges right at the town folks knocking them all down with a single charge like a bull knocking down a big wall.
"We are good to go!" Mole said with a thumbs up.
"I'll be sure to give them a checkup when we're all done with this." Sweet said, running past the unconscious town folks with the others.
Everyone made it to the sub pods which is good luck for them that the Kraken didn't go after them nor show up at the shore, that could mean it's still under water and probably still in the cave.
"We have to hurry before it escapes from the cave." Blake said.
"I have a feeling that it may have already escape from the cave and is simply waiting for us outside." Weiss feared a bit.
Everyone gets their sub pods into the water and drives for the underwater cave hoping to get to the Kraken fast before it could cause any more problems for them, even though it's going to be a tough battle.
"Sienna, Aladdin, how are you two doing?" Sun asked.
"I feel fine now, promise. Though I would appreciate if Qrow hadn't punch me that hard." Aladdin rubbed his head where Qrow punched him.
"Sorry, but I figure I'd try to pull a cartoon skit just to make sure you would be free." Qrow shrugged.
"It was really weird, like I was not in that cave anymore. Just surrounded by water, drowning deeper and deeper with no way of trying to get back up to the surface." Sienna explained how it was for her.
"Yeah, same for me too. It was so creepy and weird." Aladdin shivered from the spine of the thought.
"The important thing is that we stay together and fight that monster, or else this town will suffer its curse for all of eternity." Sun stated.
"We're gonna need a plan." Oscar said.
While the others are talking, a few more of the group are becoming under the Kraken's mind-control with them being Sweet, Yang, and Elm.
"How about we try blasting our missiles together and aim them at the mouth, blow him up from the inside!" Ruby suggested an explosive idea.
"Oh, now you're going with my booming ideas." Yang smirked.
"Hey, pay attention!" Mole said, snapping Sweet out of his trance and got him back to driving the sub pod.
"Any sign of the Kraken?" Elm asked, looking around.
"Can't see anything with the darkness of the sea bottom, maybe we should shoot out some lights." Velvet suggested.
"That might help with the seeing, but whose to say that the Kraken isn't already outside." Weiss said, hoping they're not going to walk right into the monster up close.
"Alright, I'm firing the magnesium flares." Elm said, pressing a button.

The flares have been fired from the pod and the Kraken has already revealed itself and is ready to destroy the fools who dare to attack it.
"Oh shit!" Aladdin gasped.
"Get ready to fight!" Sun shouted.
The sub pods scatter around the Kraken dodging the tentacles while two fire their missiles trying to get a good hit on the giant octopus monster, but they barely hit their marks except one was very close to hitting one tentacle being push back by the shockwave.
"Look out!" Jasmine shouted at the incoming tentacle.
Sun quickly moves the pod out of the way and Sweet's pod is in position to make the shot, but he isn't firing the missile for some reason.
"What are you doing? Shoot at the" Mole gasped when he sees Sweet's eyes glowing green.
"Mayday! Mayday! Sweet has been taken over by the Kraken!" Mole alerted.
"Not just him! Aladdin too!" Vine alerted as Aladdin fires a missile at Willow's sub pod and she quickly dodges it.
"Someone knocks some sense into them!" Willow shouted.
"Don't worry, we just gotta…" Sun groaned when Elm's hand grabs him by the neck and squeezing it tightly.
"Oh no, now Elm is under its control!" Jasmine gasped.
"Elm, cool it, girl! You're stronger than this!" Sun believed while having his Golden Monkey glow turn on and it spread onto Elm faintly that causes her to get free from the Kraken.
"Whoa, what just happened?" Elm asked, feeling a headache coming on.
"The Kraken. That's what happened." Sun said.
"We need to find a way to deal with it once and for all." Sun said.
"Too bad you can't breathe underwater to get a hit on the Kraken." Oscar said.
Then Sun just felt a bulb of brilliant, a crazy idea that just might work.
"Girls, I'm going out swimming." Sun said, shocking the girls.
"Are you fucking out of your mind! There is a giant man-eating octopus trying to kill us and you wanna go out for a swim?" Yang asked angrily and worried for her boyfriend at the same time.
"I think my Golden Monkey Aura might be able defeat it, or else weaken it enough for you guys to kill it with the missiles." Sun said as he took a suba breather.
"Sun, this has got to be the craziest thing you could ever think of!" Oscar commented.
"I know." Sun said and gave Jasmine a nod.
Jasmine didn't want to do this, but she knew better than to talk Sun out of something crazy once he makes up his mind and would see it through to the end. She flips the sub pod upside-down, and Sun opens the hatch for the pressure to keep the water down and he jumps in going for the Kraken.
The Kraken saw the monkey boy coming towards it and let out a loud roar meaning it must know that this boy is the Golden Monkey though probably doesn't know it's a different one, but it didn't care it grabs Sun wrapping around and squeezing him within the tentacle.
"The first time wasn't enough for you, huh? Well, how about another duce of the Golden Monkey of Atlantis!" Sun shouted as his body starts to glow brighter and brighter.
This golden light shines onto the Kraken that seems to really hurt the legendary creature as it screeches in pain, Sun didn't stop though as he keeps making his gold brighter and stronger as he let out his own scream that sounds primordial and the Kraken let's go of Sun and fades away from the ocean forever.
The Kraken has been defeated. And back at the cave, Edger screams in pain with marks appearing on his body before he fell onto the ground and turning into dust leaving his clothes behind as the immortal man was finally put down for good.

That was quite the underwater adventure and battle with the group being able to defeat the Kraken, thus freeing the people of the small town from the monster and the man who put them in everyone in such a cruel fate in the first place.
