A/N: Are ya still with me? I apologize for not posting this chapter sooner, I'm in the middle of writing my second book, and that is consuming most of my time. But because of how long it's been I've decided to upload two more chapters at once. I hope you guys enjoy it. let me know what you think.

"You ready?" Jade asked a nervous Tori.

It was one year ago today Jade drunkenly confessed her love for Tori and Jade wanted Tori to meet her father only problem was tori was nervous to come out to anyone else after her mother basically disowned her

"I don't know what if he hates me. like he did Beck." Tori answered

"he already met you, remember the play? " Jade started. "and Beck was a completely different story"

"He met me as a friend who helped you with your play, not as your girlfriend."

"Vega let's go, you're overexaggerating," Jade ordered

Jade and Tori got out of the car and walked to Jade's front door, Jade opened the door and stepped inside Tori stayed outside the door. Jade grabs her arm pulling her in.

"Dad, we're here!" Jade yelled from the Fourier.

Jade's dad emerged from his upstairs office standing at the top of the staircase.

"You made it, I was starting to think you weren't gonna make it. Welcome"

"Dad, this is Tori, my girlfriend," Jade said with a smile as her dad came down the stairs.

"Yes, Jade I remember her name." Mr. West said pulling Tori into a hug, "How could I forget the woman who helped my little girl get her to play produced."

Tori was standing at the front door of the West residence building up the courage to knock. Tori was about to turn around to leave when the door opened and Mr. West stepped out with a suitcase. The two stared at each other for what felt like an eternity. Tori froze like a deer in headlight not knowing what to say, and Mr. West was surprised at the person standing at his doorstep.

"Hi, Mr. West." Tori started breaking the silence. "I see that you're leaving I'll come back another time."

Tori turned to walk away, but she was stopped by Mr. West's voice.

"I have time, I'm just going to Sacramento. please come in." Mr. West insisted.

"Sorry to show up unannounced," Tori said stepping inside.

The house looked the exact same as it did when Tori was introduced to Mr. West as Jade's girlfriend.

"So, Tori how have you been?" Mr. West asked walking to the kitchen. "haven't seen you since the funeral."

"I've been okay, trying to stay strong, but it's been hard everywhere I look reminds me of her. Of how little time we had together." Tori replied.

"I know what you mean, I spent seventeen years with her and it doesn't seem like it was enough time." Mr. West stated, sitting a cup of coffee on the table. "So, Ms. Vega what can I help you with?"

"I just wanted to know if Jade said anything before...before she." Tori tried to say.

"Before she left." Mr. West finished. Mr. West paused and took a sip of coffee before getting up and walking over to a drawer, pulling out a small box and squeezing it in his hand. "Jade wanted to give this to you before you left with your family but the delivery man was running late, so she had planned to give it to you sometime after you got back."

Mr. West put the box on the table in front of Tori.

"Jade wanted you to have this. she told me to tell you that when you were ready to give it to you, it was supposed to represent Jade's promise to you, to never leave you, hurt you, and to always be your safe space." Mr. West stopped, wiped a tear before finishing. "open it."

Tori did and was almost blown away by what she saw, it was a black and silver heart-shaped ring.

"It's beautiful," Tori said in aww trying not to cry.

"Now it represents her promise to always look after you." Mr. West added.

Tori stood up giving Mr. West a hug, "I have to get going if I want to beat traffic, but you can stay as long as you want."

Before Tori Left she went to see Jade's room, her room was the exact same, nothing out of place. Tori sat on the bed and continued to look around the room. there was a picture of Jade and Tori that was taken the night of the play sitting on the nightstand. Tori took it, stuck on Jade and her beauty.

"I' can't believe it's almost a year since you've been gone, it feels like just yesterday you confessed your love, and made me fall in love with you." Tori said caressing the picture frame. "you know I'll never find anyone else like you right? not that I even want to."

"You better, I don't want you to be stuck on me baby," Jade said sitting on the bed next to Tori. "If you had been at the hospital with me I would've told you that. didn't I tell Cat not to let you grieve too long?"

"It's just hard to let you go, I mean I know your gone, I know we won't see each other in this lifetime again. but we didn't even get to see that much of each other." Tori stated still holding the picture.

"I know love," Jade said coyly.

"If I had known that, that night before I left was going to last I never would've left. we would've stayed on the couch all night."

Tori kicked her shoes off and lay back in the bed still holding the picture drifting off to sleep thinking about the last time she saw her girlfriend.

Tori was in the kitchen preparing snacks when a knock came from the front door. Tori dropped what she was doing and rushed over to the door opening in it.

"Yay, you made it!" Tori exclaimed jumping in Jade's arms. "I missed you."

"You just saw me not even four hours ago," Jade responded.

"Oh, so you didn't miss me," Tori said fictitiously, jumping out of Jade's arms and walking inside.

"That's not what I meant and you know it." Jade defended. walking over to the couch.

Tori and Jade were cuddling on the couch when Trina came downstairs with a suitcase.

"Tori I'm leaving for Andre's remember be ready by twelve. bye." Trina said rushing out the door.

"Finally we're alone," Tori said giving Jade that look.

"My Vega, whatever do you have in mind?" Jade responded. flashing her eyebrows.

"Oh, I think you know," Tori said, sitting up and taking off her shirt.

Jade followed suit and took off her shirt, locking lips with Tori, their tongues battling for dominance, Tori won. Tori pinned Jade to the couch continuing to kiss down Jade's body stopping when she got to her waistline. undoing her pants, pulling them down along with her thong exposing Jade's wet beaver. "Someone's eager," Tori said before diving in tongue first.

Jade was moaning Tori's name until Tori jammed two fingers inside of Jade forcing her to scream out in pleasure. Jade came and fell back into the couch trying to catch her breath. Tori crawled up next to Jade, wiping her mouth.

"Damn Vega, that was...that was amazing," Jade said, embracing Tori, but little did Tori know she was unhooking her bra to expose Tori's perky breast, Jade starts sucking on one and playing the other. Tori let out a soft moan. Jade switches breasts giving the other the same treatment before positioning her on her face.

Jade and Tori soon fell asleep holding one another, not knowing it would be the last time.
